Last lesson before the end of school today was “Heroic Practical Lesson: Quirk Control” with an Itsuka Meka-sensei. Raphael could recall that name, wasn’t he a part of a hero unit before? He could faintly recall the 4 men who attended his parent’s functions, though he wasn’t sure which one was Itsuka-sensei. A quick search on his phone remedied that, it was the shortest man, he could remember him due to the fact he always sat away from the actual socialisation, looking incredibly bored. He gave off the kind of air that repelled children and adults alike, and he could remember being hesitant to talk to him past the greetings he was expected to give every guest, being the host’s only son and heir to their family. But reading on it seemed he wasn’t a pro hero anymore due to injury, which wasn’t all that unusual in terms of heroes as it was indeed a very high risk job and many were unable to work til old age as one, but it was unusual for a hero who retired from injury to be hired in U.A. as an instructor. It wasn’t like he was doubting the skills of the man or judgement of the school but it was indeed curious, as most of the other Heroics teachers were working Pro heroes. “Umm... Taka-san, I’m so sorry I’m having you take us everywhere... if I wasn’t so useless at directions...” The blonde said sheepishly to his classmate. The other teen was newer than he was yet probably had better luck getting to their class in Ground Beta than he was, it was sad to say and so he had relied on the other after almost getting them lost again so that they wouldn’t be late for their final class of the day. After a few minutes of walking away from the main building, they reached the large warehouse like building labelled “Ground Beta”. Yep, the new student was clearly better at this than he was. “Ah! Thank god we found it!!” Raphael exclaimed happily, looking very grateful to his classmate as they walked up to the doors. Were they meant to go in? He wasn’t sure but the door seemed to be open when pushed, so he let himself in. There seemed to be no one inside, even his classmates were nowhere to be seen still. “W-well I suppose we are early...” Lavender eyes scanned the surroundings that was void of life. “I suppose we should get changed, as it did say it was a practical course...” Raphael made his way towards the changing room when he spotted... a pig? Outside the male changing room doors. It was a tiny thing, with a small blue collar on. The silver tag on the collar read...
“You are called...Bacon?” Raphael asked tilting his head to the side. Why was there a pig here?? As he moved a little closer, it gave a small oink and trotted away. “...ummmm...” He gave Hone a confused look before he realised they didn’t have all that much time until they needed to be ready. Maybe it just lived here. Or something... With slight uncertainty he pushed the door open, holding it for the other teen to follow.

Jun walked to ground beta for a quirk control class. That was something he really needed. He had some basic control, but he overall had more power than control. Which wasn't ideal in some situations. He really needed help on this one. Hopefully he'd get there before anyone else and get at least the top half dressed before anyone else arrived. Unfortunately, when he got there, there were two students. Raph, and the bald late comer. Waving at them both, the went to get dressed, hoping that they wouldn't bring to attention the large, jagged scar on his left side, that stretched from just below his armpit down to just below his hip, with an arm of it head up towards his back to his shoulder blade. He'd been lucky so far, able to time his appearances after everyone was there without getting late himself, literally always just on time.
After getting dressed, he followed Raph and Taka? out. "Any idea of who our teacher is? I've heard some gossip, but, you know, rumors." Are hardly ever true, even if they might have a grain of truth to them. The blond never gave any stock into such things. Plus, he wasn't a gossiper. He may mention them here and there, but otherwise ignored them. He knew the teacher's name, of course, but just didn't know anything about them. Heck, he hardly paid attention anymore to who was teaching what. So long as he passed his classes and gave it his all, what does it matter?

Quirk Control
Fu dreaded the lesson. Quirk control was an issue. Well, it was not an issue in the traditional sense. She had no problem with using her quirk and controlling it, the issue was using her quirk. Even though she had worked on her quirk a bit throughout her life, she still was not able to use it for long periods of time. During the exams, she was able to use her quirk for 5 minutes. After that, she was crippled with a migraine for several days. Her parents took her to the hospital and she had to spend a day there until she finally recovered from the migraine. It was an awful time and she was not looking forward to having to use her quirk for a long extent.
Running her hand through her hair, Futaba walked to class. She had decided not to take her gym uniform and opted just to wear her usual uniform. She could not wear that thing without having flashbacks from the first real class. Would she get in trouble? Probably but the teacher will see what happens when she uses her quirk too long.
-
After some wandering she found where she needed to be. Some of her classmates had arrived and there was a pig? This class is going to be interesting. Taking out her small pocket book, she made a note of the pig. Taking a seat on the ground, Fu played around with the dirt. Fu was dreading the class but it could not get any worse from her last class. She promised herself, Ryuga, and Daiki that she will do her best.
She'll be a hero!

Post by Taka Hone on Feb 21, 2019 14:58:05 GMT
"Don't apologise! What kind of hero would I make if I don't help those in need?" Taka joked as himself and Raph began walking through the grounds. True, he had a tendency to get lost on occasion if he was alone, but now being alone was something of a rarity for him. Seraphine and Hone had a tendency to walk around together to their classes. In truth Taka didn't know what attracted him to Raphael, or why he was hanging around him so much, but if he would have to pin it down, he just seemed...nice. That wasn't to exclaim that everyone else treated him horribly. Quite the opposite in fact, however there seemed to be a lingering sense of trust between the pair. Raph was the first one that Taka seemed to actually connect with out of his class, even if everyone made him felt welcome.
Finally, they made their way to Ground Beta for their first "Quirk Control" class. Taka had thought long and hard about this day, almost dreading it's approach. His experience so far as the school had been mixed, to say the least. While he had missed some of the lessons at the begining of the year, the ones he had attended were exceptionally book heavy, much to his delight. He had little need to use his quirk in those, however, in the back of his mind he knew the day would come where he needed to show it off, and for people to see what he had to offer. Due to the nature of the practical entrance exams, it was best to focus on yourself rather then those around you, and considering how bad Hone was doing until the very end, it was unlikely anyone paid him any attention during the test. After that, he had made a conserted effort to keep his quirk quiet, as not to scare anyone with the mental image of what he could potentially do.
Not that he had any shot of living up to that image...
Walking up to the door, Raph opened the door before holding it for Taka to get through. The taller boy walked in, looking around at the empty room, before following suit as Seraphine made his way to the changing rooms. Suddenly the pair stopped dead in their tracks at the sight of a pig before them. Taka narrowed his eyes as Raph read the name tag aloud.
"You are called...Bacon?" Raph questioned.
"Well he will be eventually..." Taka exclaimed, before walking past it and making his way to the changing rooms. Quickly he made his way to the locker with his name on it, being quick to remove his shirt, before putting his gym outfit over the top. He had become quite adept at getting changed quickly, especially with only one arm. However, the fact that the school had also supplied him with clothes held together with zips, rather then buttons was a rare kindness.
Suddenly the door opened behind the pair as Jun walked in, waving at the pair. Taka raised his hand in greeting, before sitting himself down to zip up his shoes. As he did, he raised his head to see Tomoshibi removing his top, and seeing the great gash running down his side. As Jun tried his best quickly to hide it again under his clothes, Hone turned his head away, deciding not to question it. He knew what it was like to be questioned about the scars you had, and how tiring that questioning could become. If the boy wanted to talk about it, it was his choice. Hone knew better then to attempt to force that out of people.
Finishing getting ready, he stood up and made his way to the door with Raph and Jun in toe, just as the student was questioned as to his knowledge as to the professor.
"No, can't say I know anything. I don't really listen to rumors..." Taka responded, looking over to see Fu sitting there. Quickly, Hone raised his hand over to her, before the smile on his face quickly disappeared.
"Wait...What if it's the pig?"

Today, Ryuga was in a fantastic mood. She didn't have to wear that overly small jacket, and instead she got to wear her normal clothes. Much more reserved, and that's how the young Spitfire preferred it. But that wasn't all. The best part of it all was the lesson today. Taught by one Meka-sensei. A hero she had seen in a group at a younger age. One of Kokoro's idols who had been gone awhile. But now, he was one of HER senseis. The giddiness inside of her almost made her a fangirl. If that weren't enough, she would learn how to control her quirk better. Quirk Control was the class! This was going to be a good day. And wouldn't you know, her chipper personality only seemed to magnify upon arriving at Ground Beta, and after a little bit of searching, she found her classmates. One she hadn't met yet... Hone-san? She was sure that was his name, but she just wasn't sure. Otherwise, the usual suspects. Tomoshibi-san, Himura-san, and... Ryuga's cheeks flushed a little. Seraphine-san. A lovely karaoke song or two with him had ignited something. Her good mood only grew. "Hello. Tomoshibi-san-" First she gave a friendly greeting "-Himura-san-" and another friendly greeting "-Hone-san-" yet another friendly hello, but then stopped on Raphael. Her eyes turned to the blonde. The gaze was different, something else having blossomed. Just a little. The kind of 'little' that flooded her chest. "-Seraphine-san." and admittedly, while friendly, this greeting had a tinge of something else to it. Maybe it was the day, but her chest was thumping just a little harder. Karaoke gave her a little crush. Walking beside of Himura-san, as customary, she looked to see a trotting away piggy. In that moment, her eyes flashed with an adorable swirl of cuteness overload. "AW. WHO'S THE LITTLE GUY?!" she was entranced. Almost forgetting everyone was present, just showcasing her love of cute things. Time to wait for the teacher.

Quirk control.
Isamu had been living and breathing his quirk for his entire life, much to his chagrin. It had certain advantages, sure—there was almost no way for anyone to tell him not to use his quirk in his day to day life—but it also wasn’t terribly flashy or powerful in the way that most people tended to think of quirks as powerful. Isamu would just have to turn that to his advantage by specializing.
Still, as far as improving his quirk went, he didn’t have a whole lot of options. He had plans to start working on his physical fitness, and he’d have to assemble support gear and a fighting style all his own, since he couldn’t rely on traditional methods or weapons. But as far as his quirk… improving it meant getting more in touch with his senses, and his animal instincts, which he was less than thrilled about.
Still, class was class, and he had to confront these issues sooner or later, so no sense putting it off, no matter how undesirable the thought was.
He was getting better at navigating the grounds of U.A., learning the shortcuts he could take and slowly working on his endurance by covering the large grounds of the school. On his way to Ground Beta he stopped, sniffing at the air as a strange scent jointed the mélange.
“… Is that a pig? The heck? Okay, clearly I need more sleep or something.”
He hastened his stride and made it with plenty of time to spare. He offered a quick “Good afternoon, Himura-san, Hoden-san,” as he breezed by, heading for the locker rooms when he stopped in his tracks.
There it was. A pig. He squinted as he took a few steps closer, trying to peek at the collar.
A pig named Bacon.
“… Do you belong to the instructor?” he wondered aloud, before ducking into the locker room to change. He knew their teacher wasn’t an active pro, but hadn’t had time to dig into anything more than that. Certainly not enough to figure out why there was a pig here, of all things.

The Previous Night Musutafu was a beautiful place at night, especially when two of his best friends from middle school had chosen to come visit him. That night was one of his first scrims as part of the UA Basketball team. Fifteen minutes before the game, the blond haired boy could be found in his jersey just outside of the stadium, looking towards the moon in the sky. He was talking with both of his friends, mainly they brought up his basketball record back in middle school, and even some talk about the shenanigans they got up to as kids came up. They were the type of people nothing was off limits, he knew there was no buttons that he'd accidentally push to offend them, he didn't need to tread carefully. People he could offload with, really close friends. Neither of them had gone to UA, and that was their own decision to make. Instead one of them wanted to get into making games while the other was a prior member of his middle school team, pursuing legitimate sports as a career- at least while he was young.
One way or another, time passed and the game started. Old habits came to the forefront, his head got in the game faster than he'd expect. Dribble-dribble-bounce under the opponents feet. Swerve around them, catch the ball for a jumping hook-shot for the net. One for the team, a 3 pointer from just passed halfway down the court. There was a reason his team won the tournament in his final year of middle school. It certainly helped how tall he was, he was the giant of the court. Well, some kids got near six feet.
Game, chat and afterward snack at a local sushi-bar done. The tuckered out Daiki ended up falling asleep at midnight. By fall asleep, crash is more accurate. Daiki International took the emergency landing option for the nearest bed, thankfully his own and not a couch or bench outside.
Then the light streamed out from under his door... As if fate would have it, if anyone was witnessing this moment they'd be holding their breath. The reason why? They'd know why, deep down. The sun was out, he went to bed late, there was that suspense before he checked his phone. There's... no way, right? People don't make the same mistake multiple times, do they? No- yes, yes way. Pulling up his phone, class was soon.
"... Oh. Ok." Truthfully, without a cat to playfully freak out or an old lady, the grogginess of just waking up subdued the beast. It was twenty minutes until class, and he was in his dorm. Ground beta... Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh... Hm. ETA 15 minutes he was in the shower, rubba-dub scrub gotta get outta the tub. ETA 10 minutes he was dressed and sprinting out of the UA dormitory as fast as he could.
ETA 5 minutes he had entered the urban maze known as Ground Beta where the lesson would be held. History literally repeated itself, as with Dr. Yori's 'class', he'd done almost the same thing. Though this one wasn't just whipping balls, it was quirks! He was excited to see what everyone else could do.
ETA 2 minutes he was closing in on the destination set on his phone.
ETA 1 minute, the need for updates was irrelevant because a flashy blond blur blasted into the building, a locker whipped open and the male dress room got the perhaps unwanted vision of the 90% nude Daiki as he almost jumped into a different outfit. Ah, the gym clothes were super snug. He liked the gym clothes, nothing to get caught on and they were stretchy.
Oh yeah, what about hero outfits? Wait, oh.
Oh.
He looked up, in the midst of his classmates again. Raph and the new guy, Ryuga, Fu, Isamu, Jun, and uuuuh... He squinted. He... SQUINTED, kneeling down... "Hey did we get a new classmate he's not in his gym clothes guys." Daiki was deadpan serious, blinking. Or... Perhaps he wasn't.
"Oh right hey everyone, looking forward to class."

"So...is this all of you?" A deadpan voice asked, cutting through the conversation of the students. A short man, with messy black hair who could easily be seen as a fellow first year was walking towards them slowly, his body swaying as his right leg slightly dragged, his hands seeming to be preoccupied with... Playing a game of patty cake. With robotic hands that were floating in mid air. He wear wearing something that looked like a sleeveless black bodysuit, with thick bangle like hoops around his wrists and ankles, along with a small backpack like attachment on his back. Once he reached the front of the class, he looked up. He kind of liked this invention, another one of Dr Shisutemu's ingenious creations, the "Patty Cake Glove". He'd give the man feedback on it later. This one was probably a rating of "Good", one nod. As for ways to improve it...maybe he could ask the man to put a setting on it so it could catch Bacon when he ran off. That would add another nod to the rating. Oh...yeah. He had a class to teach now, it's why he was here. 2-A with quirk control, right? ...wait, were the kids from 2-A this small? Did 2-A have a cat? Since when? He was kind of bad with names and faces but he was sure he would have remembered a cat... He frowned, putting down the robotic hands he had switched off to look at the children in front of him properly. No, this looked like... maybe first years? He never bothered really looking very closely at the timetable, so sometimes he got the years a bit mixed up. His left eye focused on the figures before him. Nope, he didn't know these 2 kids. So this must be first years. "...is there only two of you in 1-A?? Did Sato get rid of that many people already?" Itsuka asked tilting his head to one side. That was when he caught sight of a few more in the corner of his eye. Oh yeah, these kids didn't know the no.1 rule in his class. "...Oh. Right. If any of you kids are standing on the right hand side of me...stop doing that cos it's dumb, I can't see out of that eye right now. Stand on the left side." His right hand waved lazily, motioning whoever was standing there to move. "Same with my ear okay? So, you guys are the new A class huh... Okay." That was much better. Now there were far more kids in front of him (well, his line of sight) so it made sense. He had a full class. "So we are doing your first Quirk control class today. I'm sure you know why it's important. Cos' we are all just humans you know? We aren't I dunno... magical demons or something. Don't forget you are just a normal human if someone took your quirk away. If you don't know when to use and when not to use your quirk, it might mess you up- like what happened to me. I can't be assed to go into a long boring lecture about what happened so if you are wondering about exactly what happened to me, I dunno, just look it up on the internet or something." The man explained it all in a rather nonchalant voice, like he was talking about a case study and not himself. He gazed with his bright blue eyes as he spoke, though his right eye indeed looked like it had no life in it, though it vaguely moved along with his line of sight when he moved his left. "So learn your limits. Learn how far you can push it. Learn your teammates strengths, weaknesses, learn to work with each other. You all are weak, so it's not like just because you tried hard you could get anywhere by yourself. You'd just die and then that's a waste of resources and maybe put others in danger then you might as well not be there in the first place. Alright?" The micro pig that had been free range in the urban mess of Ground Beta seemed to have heard his master's voice and came trotting towards Itsuka now. "So yeah. What we are doing today. Is. Capture the pig." As the black haired man said this, he scooped up the small creature off the floor with his left arm, an action that was met with loud squeals and rather violent thrashing. "You guys have to catch the pig. And take it over there." A slightly limp right hand pointed at the other side of the arena, where the first buildings started. "...no time limit. You can all work together or try it solo or whatever you want. As long as one of you gets the pig to that building you all cleared the lesson. You can use any support items if you have them." The pig was squirming hard, and after a few moments it popped out of his left arm, landing rather gracefully on the floor in front of the teacher. "Oh yeah. And I'm gonna play the villain who's gonna stop you all. So you gotta deal with me too. Take me out first, run away, whatever your strat is." He added after a beat, as if it was an afterthought. Bacon seemed to like the girls, wandering over to the two female students now he was free of the man's death grip, waggling his curly tail. "Umm...yeah. So if any of you know my stats from when I was a pro hero... it's kinna like those. I think. So be prepared for those. Oh yeah...also, I ain't gonna hold back cos I know some of you are pretty tough already...so make sure you have solid formations if you guys are gonna work together. Look after your squishies, it's like basic so you guys know all this right? And if you are all KOed or unable to fight anymore...you guys lose." As he carried on his monotone, he pressed a small button on the metal bands on his ankles, kneeling with some difficulty, clear straight being able to be seen as he straightened up before he tapped heels together and a mechanical whirring sound was heard, before the bands started to expand and shift shape, turning into large, metal leg guards that covered both legs up to the knee. As that was happening, the man reached behind him with his right hand, pressing something on his back that made more mechanical sounds, accompanied with a whoosh as...something that resembled a harpoon connected to the man's backside with thick wire dropped with a loud thud on the concrete floor. Upon closer inspection, one would find the man had some kind of headset on, one that he now pushed a button on the side and it extended, covering a good deal of the sides of his head. "So...I'm ready whenever so once you guys are prepared...come at me." Itsuka now added as he pressed the button on his wrist bands, his hands being encased in a similar support to his legs, a claw like attachment forming on his left. He clearly now had trouble moving with this much equipment on, just about being able to lean over to reach the micro pig that was nuzzling Ryuga's leg affectionately. "...come here Bacon..." He sighed, catching the pig's collar between his claw so it couldn't run away, balancing it on the palm of the claw-gauntlet. "Oh yeah... if you kill or injure the pig..." The former pro hero added casually as he walked back a little from the class. "...you are all expelled."
OOC Notes RE this thread pls read :3
Hey guys! WELCOME TO MY FIRST QUIRK TRAINING CLASS THREAD LOL Okay this thread will not have super strict posting order. Usual 48hrs rules for class threads is ok I think. Basically, try and reply when you can in a decently timely manner.
If your character decides to attack Itsuka by themselves, I will respond to the attack ASAP so if someone does it, please just wait so I can respond then it's free game again. In general, I will post as Itsuka whenever I see nessesary. So everyone just respond in a sensible pace pls, we won't do post order or else some people will be doing nothing for ages XD
I think this format will be ok cos we all know what we are doing LOL Now we will have 1 rotation where its planning/strat/free time before combat starts! GOOD LUCK HF!

Even if he knew he was being a burden, he was happy he had managed to make a friend in Hone. Or so he hoped. It was a little early to tell, and well, he wasn't sure he could be at all a reliable or capable friend, but he was going to try his best. He thought to himself as he started to get dressed into his gym gear, taking out the pouch that contained his support items just in case he needed them. He turned when Jun came into the room, though he turned back round straight away as everyone knew it was rude to just stare at others changing... Once he was done, he stashed his uniform away in a locker and waited for Hone to finish. "Rumours?" He asked with a blink. He had fallen out of touch with current hero news from the last few years so he had no clue what Jun meant. "I...met Meka-Sensei...a long time ago I think. But I don't remember much about him..." He probably should study up on all their teachers to have basic knowledge, he realised now. It was something to work on maybe when he got home today. The blonde left the changing room once the other two were done, seeing Futaba and Ryuga who seemed to have just arrived herself. "Hello Himura-san, Hello Hoden-san!" Raphael replied with a smile. Futaba seemed to be nervous, her demeanor and aura was clearly saying so. And... Huh?Ryuga was sparkling her usual bright reddy-orange, but it was slightly more coral today. It was actually very beautiful, he couldn't help but gaze at it for a few moments longer than he should before he looked away, realising it was simply weird not to mention rude to be staring at someone like that. A few other of his classmates started to fill the front of Ground Beta as a few minutes went by, lastly Daiki made his appearance and Raphael gave a small bow to return the greeting. New...classmate? Did he mean Bacon? ...was Bacon a new student?? ... Admittedly, Raphael had not thought of that. It was actually true, what if it was a new person... Before he could say anything else, a voice cut over their chatter, signalling, ah yes, that was Meka-sensei, he actually didn't look much more different to when he had seen him last all those years ago, though he was moving a little strange now. Once the man had explained their activity for the afternoon, he looked around. Clearly, he was going to be useless just by himself, but if he sang... he may be able to help just a little. He stayed quiet, wondering if anyone was going to be looking to work with others or not. Either way, he had to do so anyway as, his father always reminded him he had been created to support others, it was his purpose.

Good, no one mentioned it. When they got out, Raph was the one to answer somewhat. Taka didn't know anything either. Fu-chan and Ryuuga both were there, Isamu and Daiki showed up soon after, with the muscle head being the last one there this time. Jun literally facepalmed. "I severely doubt that..." Then the teacher came in. And was apparently blind in one eye. Either way, he did as was told, and moved into the guy's vision. Quirk control...dear god this was gonna be a pain the but. That was always something that he struggled with, fine-tuned control. Very unlike his twin brother. Then the exercise was explained. Talk about a real trial by fire. Still, it seemed like Fu and Ryuuga were going to be their secret weapon. Since the pig clearly liked the girls. Well, ok then. They needed to get it out of the death grip first.
He motioned for the others to come close to him. "So I think I have a tentative plan? Daiki, you stay to the left, and charge, but not too fast. I'll blast some fireballs out from his right side, his blind side. I don't want to use my electricity since that will hurt Bacon too. Isamu, timing will be everything, if you can separate the pig from him, and Daiki pressure him from that side, hopefully he'll drop it. Fu-chan, you attract the pig to yourself, and if he moves faster than expected, you can warn us. Ryuuga, you're our back up ranger. Bring the firepower when he counters. Raph...I honestly don't know how your quirk works, so I guess support us the best you can? Sorry, that's all I got for you...That all sound good otherwise?" Hopefully that sounded great.

As more friends and classmates arrived, Fu gave them each a wave. She knew that the more of them arrived, the closer it would be to class. As closer it got, the dread started to grow. Why is she having these issues? She talked Daiki, Ryuga and even Sensei-Sato about the issues she was having. Each of them several different suggestion of what to do. Daiki suggested looking in her heart, Ryuga told her that she had it within her, and her Sensei suggested her to think it over if she wanted to be a hero. They were all very different approaches. Fu was not sure what approach to use so she just combined them.
This is when Daiki, as usual, came late to class. She remembered telling him not to long ago she wanted to be a hero. Now, as the quirk control class neared, she was not so sure. These doubts were magnified as her teacher entered. He looked like a cyborg. Is this what happened when people did not give up hero work after some accident. She could imagine that some heroes would never want to give up the glory. If she was honest, he looked terrifying. His speech really did not make her confidence even more.
Knocked out or incapacitated?! Is that allowed? I can't do this. This is too real...
Fu was feeling herself panic and hearing Jun speak was not helping. Did he notice her she was there? Of course he did! He said hello to her, right? Is he trying to ignore her after what happened in their first class? It would make sense. She probably would cause more issues than help. They definitely thought that she was a dead weight.
Looking at her classmates and the teacher, she sighed. She can't do this. There is no way she can do this. Raising her hand, she said "Sensei, I cannot do this. I have committed a mistake applying to the hero course. I'm a detriment to this class and their success."
Fu took a deep breath, before giving a bow to everyone in her class. "I'm very sorry to all of you. I will be transferring to general studies for now while I figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life." With that, she gave all of them another bow before leaving the area. She made her way to the main administrative office.
-
"Miss Sato? What brings you? Aren't classes still happening?" A clerk said, looking up from the main desk of the administrative area. Fu sighed an put a sheet of paper on the desk.
"I'm requesting a transfer from the hero studies course into general studies. I'm not set to become a hero. I will think about what to do but for now I'd want a transfer to general studies." The clerk looked a bit shocked before taking the piece of paper from her. Reading over it, she nodded at Fu. Putting it in a small tray on the desk, the clerk made a note about what has to be done. After a brief conversation, Fu was about to turn back to return to her room.
"You're going to participate in sports day, right?" Fu thought about it for a bit before smiling at the clerk. The clerk smiled back and Fu left the office. Fu was a hero student no more.

Post by Taka Hone on Feb 26, 2019 22:36:39 GMT
Taka nodded respectfully to the rest of the students as they entered. His eyes scanned the collection of people they formed, before slowly his eyes fell upon the gateway, watching as the teacher walked in. Hone's eyes narrowed as he watched the man limp towards them, his eyes scanning the short man as he continued to play some kind of game with a set of floating gloves. Taka stood firm towards the back of the group, listening to the explanation. Steadily a plan began to form in his head as he listened to the explanation. Slowly he raised his hand, patting Raph's shoulder comfortingly.
"Stick with me. I'm going to need your help..." Taka whispered to his friend. Even without Seraphine's quirk, Hone would feel safer knowing Raphael was behind him. It may have been selfish of him, but in this case, Taka needed him to ease off the pain that using his quirk was going to do. He didn't have a chance to hide anymore. Now he was going to have to go all out for it, especially with the Teacher's threats of people getting knocked out, and him not holding back. One way or another, this was going to hurt.
Either by the teacher's hands, or by his own.
Suddenly Jun butted in, formulating a plan for everyone. Hone listened to the explanation carefully, knowing that the boy probably had a better idea of what everyone was capable of. Taka had missed the first practical class, so Tomoshibi probably had a better idea as to how to use everyone to their potential.
And so he listened...
and listened...
and listened...
And suddenly he was done. His explanation finished. It was a solid plan, dare to say even a good plan, even with a few flaws inside of it. It had the potential to work...And Taka wasn't mentioned once.
He wasn't sure why he was so surprised. Jun had never seen his quirk in action. Hell, no one had. Still, it was once again an unfortunate consequence of him being late to the party. Even now, he stood behind Raph, almost as if hiding behind him, regardless of the height distance. In a group full of people, he once again felt so alone.
And with Fu suddenly walking out, it had become apparent he wasn't the only one. Hone watched in silence as Himura walked out, stating that she was done with the Hero course and was transferring out. Slowly Hone's eyes looked over to Jun, wondering if it's something that he had done. Fu had been something of a key part to his plan, and now she was just walking out without even trying? One could argue that she had the easiest job out of the lot of them, and yet she still couldn't handle the pressure of it...
...Perhaps she was right to walk away...Maybe Taka should have followed...
NO! Fear is the mind killer! And Taka had been scared for far too long being here already. It was time for him to show what he had to offer to the people he looked to impress the most. It's time to stop wanting to go home. It was time to finally step up. And that began now!
"Well, as that plan has somewhat fallen through, may I offer an alternative?" Taka explained, stepping forward, his foot hitting the ground hand as a declaration of his intent. "It was a good plan Jun, however there were a number of flaws that need to be addressed. Namely, your belief that he has a blind spot. He may be blind out of one eye, but we've no idea what kind of support equipment he has with him. If he was a Pro Hero, and he's proclaiming that he's not holding back, then I'm sure he's more then used to people attacking him from that side and is more then capable of countering it. If I'm being blunt I'm thinking he may actually be expecting it. If I may make an alternative suggestion, I suggest that Daiki be moved to a rescue role. He has the speed needed to grab the pig, and run with it straight to the safety zone. I think that with Isamu's speed and natural reflexes, he can easily run support with Daiki even through this terrain , and be able to grab Bacon should he be dropped and attempt to run away. As for the rest of us, we launch a full scale attack on the Professor. Raph can use his voice to run support for us all. There's the chance that he'll help the Professor out as well due to how his voice works, but I'm going to estimate that given he's wearing a power suit that he's just had to turn on, I believe Raph's quirk will only minutely benefit him in comparison to the boon it will be to the rest of us. And if Jun and Ryuga want to both pick a side, they can try and use their quirks to attack him from the flanks, containing him in a single file, and then I'll..."
Taka paused for a moment, thinking back to his plan, and where everyone was positioned, there roles, and the unfortunate position he had left himself in.
Still...No time for him to back down now.
"...I guess I'll be tank in the centre...I know that's you guys putting a lot of trust in me when none of you know what I can do yet, and I'll probably be relying on Raph to keep me standing, but it's the only real position I can fill, and right now you're all going to have to trust me on that...As hard as that may be..."

Isamu squinted as he watched their teacher enter, seemingly playing… Patty cake? Is that what it was? Playing patty cake with a robot hand. There was something oddly familiar about that, but he put it aside as the teacher began speaking.
‘Can’t see out of that eye right now?’ That was an interesting choice of words. Isamu filed that away for later reference.
‘Just humans.’ Isamu snorted derisively at that. Easier for some of those gathered to say than others.
So Bacon did belong to the instructor, just as he thought. And he was to be the target of their exercise. Interesting… his mind was already racing with strategies and ideas when he heard those magic words.
‘You can use any support items if you have them.’
Upon hearing those words Isamu did something nobody had seen him do since arriving at U.A. He smiled.
Isamu was itching to sprint for the locker room after that, but dutifully stayed and listened to the rest of the instructions for the exercise, shouting a “Wait for me!” once the teacher left them to their own devices, taking off for the locker room at a full run. He emerged a few moments later, not wearing his gym clothes but wearing what could only be a hero outfit: a simple black bodysuit, with a black vest, black gloves, a bracer on his left arm, and belt. The vest was lined with rows of pouches, and a very close examination of the gloves would reveal a row of metal studs across the knuckles. He was still adjusting the fit of everything as he rushed back out, making sure everything was in place to keep him from impairing his movement.
He tapped something on his bracer and a small hologram popped up as he rejoined the group. “Meka-sensei’s quirk is called ‘Optical Nerve.’ With it active he can enhance his speed, strength, reaction time, and senses. He suffered some kind of an injury but I don’t see specifics…” He quickly scrolled through the rest of the information before shutting the hologram off. “And I don’t see anything about that support gear he’s wearing. I think we should be careful about trying to exploit his blind spot. That gear could compensate for it, for all we know.”
He listened along with both plans, while taking glances at their teacher holding the pig. “With his hands occupied holding the pig I can try and get in to get him loose, but someone will need to grab him when I get the collar undone, probably Satou-san. After that I can try and run interference. I’ll agree to Hone-san’s version of the plan, if he thinks he can keep the teacher’s attention.”

Post by Ryuga Hoden on Feb 27, 2019 23:44:38 GMT
Ah. Just on cue. Two other students arrived soon after. Suzuki-san and Satou-san. As Ryuga had expected; it was her class, after all. It only made sense that more of the class would arrive. Ryuga had arrived rather late compared to the others. Though... Their reactions to the pig was... Ryuga grabbed onto her mouth. She had to keep herself stable. Especially Satou-san. Maybe it was just the way he said it, or just the thought that Satou-san thought the pig was part of the class, but part of her had hoped he was correct. But that wasn't what made her laugh. What made her laugh was the idea of this little pig, this little Bacon wearing a U.A. uniform. It tickled Ryuga so much so that she began to giggle outright. She couldn't hold it in. It flooded out. Her giggle filled the air. Thankfully, that ended almost immediately once the teacher arrived. Ryuga's cheeks were red, and she immediately coughed and ceased her laughter. She needed to be professional. The moment was now over, and thus, she focused on the teacher who appeared. Wait. Was... was that... Ace Pilot?! Playing patty cake?!?! With a... robot... hand? Now her face was shifting from heated red cheeks, to a state of confusion. She had seen some old clips about Ace Pilot and his team. She LOVED Ace Pilot. Her mood was heightened. How could this day get any better? He explained about his class after confusion of who was there. As he explained, Bacon had come over to Ryuga and had rubbed up against her leg, to which Ryuga knelt down and began to pet him. Scratching behind his cute little ear. Ending with the biggest consequence of breaking the rules. Any injury or fatality ended in their complete expulsion. Which meant the group had to rely on one another, not only to save the pig, but to fend off the villain. Both at once. But... Ryuga was devastated by Futaba's action, and she found her own motivation broken. How could this day have gotten better indeed? It couldn't. That's because it could only be soured. As Ryuga watched Futaba leave, she turned to watch her scurry off. She was staying at U.A. But, she had been so deadset on tutoring. She could have helped her. Ryuga was an awful friend. Well. She was staying at U.A. Maybe part of her knew Futaba might try that. She was still hurt by it, in wanting to help her. But, Ryuga understood it, and thus focused on Tomoshibi-san's explanation. It had its flaws, but Ryuga had to admit, it was golden. Only, it didn't predict Futaba's leaving. Which meant, they had to improvise. Hone-san did bring up some good counter-points. Not knowing what Ace Pilot was capable of was going to cost them. Thus, they needed to think this through. But multiple tactician's would only boggle down the plan. No. Ryuga would step back and follow suit for now. "... I agree that Satou-san should be on pig duty. My Quirk is far too destructive to rescue the pig, so I should definitely help fend off Ace Pilot, like Tomoshibi-san and Hone-san suggested. Though... I only have five shots of Dragonlung, then I'll have to rely on physical power." she explained, considering how to aid the group. Tomoshibi's idea of staying in the back would help the most. Though Hone's did take a more hands-on approach, she also didn't know Hone-san that well. For the time being, she wanted to survey what Ace Pilot could do, and so, she would follow her fellow student's lead.

Daiki Satou-san Daiki Satou-san DAIKI SATOU-SAN DAIKI-SAN SAIKI DAIKO-KUN DUCK MAN GINGERBREAD SNACK PIGGY PICKER P-! Daiki recognized that he was pretty important to all of the plans listed. Though he couldn't help but go serious as Fu gave up again. Maybe she genuinely didn't want to be a Hero. Maybe she lied in the moment because she liked him. People are infinitely complex but can also be overthought as well. It's possible. He looked towards the rest of them as they conversed, just by the fact he was still hanging around meant he had decided to be here to stay. This time there was nobody going after Fu, not even him. He knew that everything he could do had been done, and he'd just be damaging his own life while having no further effect on hers. Life can be hard, and it was one of those hard decisions he had to make. The desire was there, but mind over matter, in the end it wouldn't make a difference.
He would've just nodded to Jun's plan, but with Fu gone and Taka revising and perhaps improving on it? He looked over towards him instead. New face, but he felt like he knew Taka better than many of the classmates that'd been here since day one. He was the front cover of a book, sure he might have things he doesn't want to share but it's clear he's been through stuff. He looks fairly mature, intends to take his school seriously, and isn't going to let impulse or drama jeopardize that. At least that's the impression he got. Many of the other students when he looked at them, came off as facades, a Goosebumps cover slapped on one of H.P. Lovecrafts many titles. It was this psycho-analytical and realistic outlook he assumed when well, things weren't great.
That's why he had to make them great.
Clapping his hands together, he talked loud enough for Ace Pilot to hear him. More like a booming confident voice and less like a shout. "Sounds like a plan(!) So if I understand correctly I'll take a run at him and try to keep him on his toes, Hone-san will uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh... Oh I know, uhm. No, no I don't... Huh. He wasn't here on day one so I dunno what your quirk is uuuuh... Oh I know I can invent an imaginary quirk to trick the teacher. Wait wouldn't they have your quirk on record. Wait what. You know what I got this still. Hoden-san can lean back and blow fire all over the place like a dragon, Serafin-san can sing Beethoven symphonies in slow motion, Tomishobi-san caaaaaaaaaaaaaaan uuuuuh... Cook... Uuuuuh... Oh! Can't you synergize with Hoden-san to you know do stuff, yeah you can do stuff with Hoden's lungs and Suzuki-san can uuuuuuuuh oh a mouse goes Chuu Chuu and a pig goes Buu Buu and they both have four UU's total meaning they're basically the same thing. So as a cat you can play cat and pig and spook piggy towards us for rescue. Alright and one last thing."
He lowered his voice and leaned in.
"FORGET EVERYTHING YOU JUST HEARD IT'S A CONSPIRACY TO TRICK THE TEACHER BUT I KNOW HE'S SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT'S WHAT I'M DOING I WAS JUST BUYING TIME FOR EVERYONE TO GET THEIR DUCKS IN ORDER OKAY I'M READY LET'S DO THIS."
