As The Marionettist ran, he saw a figure at the corner of his eye and glanced round as he threw out his hand towards that direction, Kimi who had been just behind him changing course to meet the student and hopefully pause his descent onto the villain. 60kg of titanium lined resin with a silicone skin in shape of a human with an angelic, delicate face, long blonde lashes and large lilac eyes, a mass of soft blonde wavy hair would launch itself at the first year boy, attempting to tackle him down.
So apparently it was now “protect the screeching princess” time as not just one, but two of the wannabe white knights came to stop him from knocking the young girl out. Was she so vital to their team set up? Maybe she was just a rich girl with famous parents who due to politics needed saving. Or maybe they were all THAT stupid to simply risk their life for someone else with no merit to their life (oh, sorry, they were all friends, he assumed.) beyond doing the “right” thing.
He had to sympathise a little, he supposed, as they had no idea what the orders given to the villains were (not that Nidhogg over there seemed to be following them at all…) so they were diving to protect someone who he wasn’t even planning to harm seriously in any case. Wasted effort. But there was an attempt. He supposed as school kids they would get commended for it, not that it would mean anything in the real world outside.
He really hated kids.
It was also these same orders than prevented him from exploding Kimi’s head, or doing much to the big blonde student who seemed to have intercepted Ore. Ore was much lighter than Kimi for good reason, as he was meant to be faster and attack with ease, though he supposed for this situation it’s combat qualities were wasted as the dumb kids had done enough damage to themselves trying to take on a villain way too strong for them. He let the dark grey haired marionette stay “dead” for a few moments as it hit the chairs, the blonde oaf clearly had more things to worry about than saving the banshee now as he was assaulted by the angry dragon.
He felt a vibration and glanced down at his phone- a notification told him of the message from their temporary boss; oh great. Already? Well, good timing he guessed, as he really didn’t fancy playing “Villain attack in U.A” simulation any longer, even if he was getting paid and he was getting exposure for it.
“Nidhogg…?”
He tried to shout but nope, it was impossible. The other man was too far away and currently...attempting to roast his brother alive. Well, why not, he supposed, he could care less. While everyone was distracted, he decided he’d make his leave. He glanced over at Kimi, wondering if he was salvageable but guessed it was easier just to leave him, he was replaceable anyway. Rubbing his thumb over three fingers on his left hand, he cut off the connection between himself and the puppet, the figure going limp the moment he did so. He ran straight to the exit, if he saw the maps correctly then there was a window outside this door which would lead to the outside. One hand at his side just for insurance, he ran towards the door.

Post by Taka Hone on Apr 14, 2019 21:32:21 GMT
Taka felt his eyes close as he rushed towards the Villain. He knew this was going to hurt, but it was far too late now to try and stop. Any attempt to cease his movement would only end in his body probably collapsing in on itself, causing even more damage to himself. He knew he was going to regret this sooner or later, but if he did it this way, at least he could take one of them out with him. He'd closed his eyes as if that would somehow make it alright, as if this wasn't going to potentially kill him. As if this would hurt any less by not seeing it coming.
It was risky, it was dangerous, it was frankly, borderline moronic, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
Thank you Taka-san...
Those were the last words Taka heard in his head before he was stuck by something.
He was wrong, closing his eyes didn't make it hurt any less. In fact, as his eyes opened instinctively, the sight he saw only made him feel worse.
Golden locks fell across his face, as he looked into the lilac eyes of the creature that had struct him. They stared on at him, unblinking as Hone fell into the seats of the theatre, knocking several of them away as his body cascaded upon them. With each arm he bashed into, he could feel his hollowed bones breaking under his bloody skin. With each blow to his body, the more he could feel his every life seep out of him.
As he finally came to a stop, his head looked to Aya. His body broken, and twisted on the floor, it felt nothing in comparison to the pain he could feel inside him as he saw the villain looking down at him, his disdain clear across his face. As Hone attempted to reach his hand up to him, he felt something hard upon it, turning his head to see the "thing" that had attacked him had landed on him, holding him down and in place. And with that, he was out of the fight. He didn't have the strength to move the form on top of him, and even if he did, would his broken bones allow him to even stand up?
As he felt the blood continue to flow out of him, he realised that he couldn't hear anything. Raph's song wouldn't be able to help him until proper aid was arranged...He didn't have the strength left to form his ear bones again, and even if he did he couldn't risk something so delicate potentially deafening him for the rest of his life.
No matter how short that life may have been. And what a life? A dead mother, a disappointed father, a self mutilating quirk, and only Raph would probably miss him.
Wait...Raph wasn't protected...He was supposed to protect the support...He had failed again...And as Taka closed his eyes again, slowly loosing consciousness...
...He only felt cold...
(Note: Taka is now unconscious, deaf, and still bleeding out. He is now out of the fight unless aid can be provided.)

They were in the thick of things. Chaos on all sides, Taka was taken out for the count by Kimi followed by the evacuation of the villain responsible. Fu was at deaths door by throwing herself at the hero without a physical quirk in the slightest. Ryuga was desperately trying to defend the vulnerable Raphael whilst he likely did his best to cope or fail to do so. His response was still unknown as the scene moved so fast. Moments like these define Humans at their core. Among adversity what is drawn out by impulse and desperation. It's the sick reality, but it can also be a beautiful one with those that have a pure heart and a noble soul. Always trying to be one step ahead or strive forward even as a pressure thousand-fold crushes down overhead. Though right now...? That seemed impossible. It was all he could do to have launched Ore away so he wasn't double teamed at the time before being snatched by Nidhogg. Gritting his teeth and baring them his hands came around to grip the sides of Nidhoggs own. Even if Nidhogg wanted to kill him by stabbing into his neck or crushing it all together, he'd have a lot more trouble with the outer pressure Daiki was applying with the pulling of both hands. Nidhogg knew that, this wasn't his first time in a fight and so he quickly turned to a more damning reality, anyone other than someone with a durability quirk or one that had that as part of it would be crippled and unconscious and some might even be dead. He was raised overhead before being slammed into the seat back first. The worst part was the plastic giving way against his back, enough to potentially snap the spine of a normal person but instead the material gave way and then he and the chair crashed to the floor as dust was kicked up from the cracked ground below. With some blood coming from his hairline after the first hit, there'd be no time to catch his breath when the #4 Villain went for another slam. Flying overhead he crashed into another couple of seats and let out a loud cough as the wind was practically knocked out of him. He'd be covered in welts and bruises already from the sheer strength of his opponent, at least there weren't and broken bones, yet. Things looked horrifying as the blond boy was raised overhead for a third time. At this point he'd started to adapt to the technique. When he came down his legs extended. One caught the backrest of the seat while the other pushed out the seat itself from the previously folded position. He enunciated his strain with almost a growl, teeth still firmly clamped together with a very, very pained and borderline... scared look on his face. Though even with his applied resistance his feet busted through on both spots and it was all he could do to reorient himself so he didn't break his legs with the slam. Hitting the ground again he'd thankfully taken that one lighter than the other two. However even now Nidhogg wasn't done with his rampage. Being raised for a final time Nidhogg went for the largest slam yet. Daiki could feel that this was the last of his assault and perhaps with quick thinking he knew why. Other problems were unfolding and he was adapting to resisting the attack. Though none of that impulsive thought mattered in the wake of this very moment. The area around them was already a collection of broken seats and light cracks in the ground but this final one caused a large crack and a screen of dust to kick up. Nearby bolts drilled into the chairs to keep them in place bent inwards towards the ever so subtle crater. The wind was knocked out of Daiki and he looked up in shock. Did he hear a... Crack? Something... Might be broken- but what, where? He couldn't feel it- was this adrenaline? He'd barely even noticed the sound let alone fully thought on it to realize the feeling. Instead he could only watch overhead as his girlfriend leaped at the villain that was kicking his ass, he could only imagine what he'd do to Fu. Dazed and injured and trying to catch his breath, Daiki's eyes were set on Nidhogg as he sent that gout of flame at Ryuga and Raphael. They were in danger too. He missed from the looks of it but he'd just try again and again. Thanks to his focus on the Villain though, he watched the clawed foot rise up to try and crush his ankle and with a simple motion he shifted his leg to the side. A groan following and Daiki rolled over and slammed a fist into the ground... Picking himself up. ... But why is he here... He thought. In moments when things are at their worst. When the future seams cloudy and all options seem exhausted, we only have ourselves and those around us to light the way. In what seemed like an eternity but was really just a moment, the boys man dredged up fragments of the past and the hands placed upon his shoulder. Most recently, he remembered the warm and encouraging words of Fu Himura, the girl currently risking her own life for him. He then thought even further back to his friends in middle school, his basketball team even. All of them didn't get into UA and despite the drama of school they all came together to wish him the best and they all had hope. Hope and high expectation of the man that'd come from the boy. Each of them were another hand on the boys back to guide him to the future that came with smiles and happy days. Even further back there were three people that always wanted the best for him. They always were there during his best days and his worst. His little brother, aspiring in his own right to become a hero. His mother and father, two of the purest people he had ever known. Good to the core and beautiful in soul. Every step of the way no matter the path Daiki took in life they wanted him to just be happy. Their biggest concern when he wanted to go to UA was if it was something he wanted to do because it made him happy or because he felt obligated too. So innocent, compared to a lot of the world. He did it because it made him happy; because a smile is more contagious than any sickness and any other emotion. Because smiles are the currency of happiness, and in a world like this one you can never have enough of it. There was one moment that stood above everything else in his life. A moment that transcends a connection of blood, it is a connection between souls. The third holder of All-Star, the old man in a neighboring prefecture from Daiki's hometown. He recalled their conversation, mentor to student. He was so demanding that Daiki be the best man he could be. That he could carry the torch further than he and the others could ever fathom too. He told him about the other holders as well. How they lived their lives with a similar purity to his own unburdened by many troubles and with healthy surroundings, wanting only that for the rest of the world. They fought and fought, and there's even some tragedy in some stories. However they never gave up even when the going got tough. They pushed on amidst the most gruesome of times. Times where Villainy was completely different than it was today. Then he also spoke of himself, he shared feelings that Daiki had long felt from his predecessor. Those burning feelings, that passion. If the man had a body to perform he'd still be out there cape and all. One quote stuck with Daiki, one quote that he'll live by. One quote that changed Daiki's definition of perseverance...'What is a man if not his best, at his worst'. The ability to even when everything seems grim and darkness is closing in, to push through with unbridled ferocity to grasp the sun and shine it down. To charge ahead and pull others out of the muck. To make a difference when it really mattered and to secure tomorrow. With a fist pressed to the theater floor the blond boy pulled up to a knee. It hurt to lift his other leg but what hurt more; a leg in the moment or a lifetime of regret for failing himself among hundreds of others that believe in him? It was a simple answer as his other hand reached up towards one of the theater chairs. Pulling himself up to his feet he knew he had not a moment to get his bearing, but his bearings could go screw themselves for all he cared. He didn't need any bearings because right now he was guided by the light beyond this moment. Taka, Raphael, Ryuga, Fu Himura; his love. He wanted to see all of them for the next three years and beyond. This isn't a book closing but instead it's a chapter ending.Turning to face Nidhogg, the multi-directional assault began.
What is a Hero if not his best, at his worst?
The body of the boy started a soft glow, a flickering and weak yellow that quickly started to change. That yellow as he took a starting step towards Nidhogg became constant and shifted to a Green coloration. The target was right in front of him, this was the obstacle to grasp the sun and with Fu keeping him busy it was a chance. A chance at doing something that nobody expects. Imagine the news covering UA students taking down #4, or at least delaying him to be captured. Nobody expects that. More than a number though, Daiki recognized Nidhogg was yet another man with his own motivations and drives. It was with that sentiment that he had to enact true justice and not skew it. As a step turned into a sprint the Green ramped up to a Cobalt coloration sparking off of his body. However to get the momentum he needed just sprinting wasn't enough. He had to go, go, GO. His legs carried him like lightning through a post, hands reaching towards his sides to increase his speed by pushing off of seats and doing a rapid movement to gain the momentum needed to put a dent in Nidhogg. He recognized his opponent was also durable, flailing and weak hits weren't going to phase him. Propelling to the peak of his speed the cobalt reignited in a flash to an aqua and then almost immediately flashed again to a Rose coloration that dimly illuminated the room. He shouted at the top of his lungs.
"RAPHAEL AND RYUGA, BOMB! WE CAN DO THIS! "
The boy declared. It was at this point that he'd long shaken off the grime of despair, left in the heap that seconds ago had been him on the floor. Instead on his face was confidence, control and power. Darting with incredible speed he was a blur to the eye; especially in such a small environment. Just like that he weaved from here to there and there to around that area and he'd make his move no longer than two seconds after he'd gotten from the ground. The whole scene in real time looked like a flash of yellow-green-blue-aqua-rose all in rapid succession followed by a burst of dust as the man kicked off from the back wall and flew towards Nidhogg from behind. Fu Himura, the girl he loved was about to become collateral to a Villain, he wasn't going to let that happen. Amidst the disorientation and chaos her screams must be having on the A Daiki's distance closed in but half a second from his rapid velocity. In a final moment and an attempt to impact there was a shout, a warcry to exert everything and beyond like martial arts of all kinds express to exemplify flow and exertion. His fist was pulled back, a grin across his face despite the blood that'd flowed down partway over his visage to lightly obscure his vision. Even then, Nidhogg was no small target and he was going for center mass. Reeling his arm back the man attempted to bring it forward with everything and beyond. The might of every single hand placed upon his back channeled through his body and arm to deliver the strongest blow he'd ever sent. A freight train of an attack, cooked up and served specifically for the threat in front of him. It was something new, something precise. If the impact hit who knows how much damage it could do. The man shouted as the attack went through whether it hit or missed.
"GO BEYOND! PLUUUS ULTRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
There was a moment, a single moment where the man's body told a story that could be the only testament to his will and determination. His body didn't flash rose or aqua, there was a grand arc of blues, reds, greens pinked and yellows, purples and whites and even some dark in there. The bio-luminescence of his veins glowed rainbows that while not blindingly bright cast a glow across the entire room at the moment of striking impact or not. Since even if it didn't hit Nidhogg, with the force that he put into the hit the punch was hitting something. A blast of dust and debris in the wake of the hit, the man stood there as an image of his future self. A snapshot of what was to come. Currently worn down, hunched slightly, breathing heavily and with a slight lean on his good leg. His left seemed to have been fractured. One eye was also sealed shut by dried blood, his mouth agape to suck in as much air as possible.
If it hit, Daiki prayed it was enough. It was everything he had, and even just slowing the Villain down heavily was enough. The Heroes should be here soon- eventually, right? If this delayed Nidhoggs escape or movements enough, they could catch him.
Please... Was the word going through Daiki's head. Please be enough.

A dream isn't something you shape alone, But something the winds will deliver to you When you feel like you can fly high and far, Please don't leave my hand behind
When Ryuga stirred, opened her eyes and actually moved on her own, a wash of relief made his shoulders relax just a little. Raphael himself had no way of knowing if his quirk was actually working as intended- it needed concentration to monitor his own aura colours and it was something he wasn’t even doing right now. It was currently way too advanced a skill to multi task that many things in a real life situation, he had to just focus on keeping his mind clear, as he couldn’t have a repeat of last time where his emotions had caused his quirk to fail. His father used to say mistakes were the most unforgivable sin, and even more so when it was repeated more than once. And the blonde was starting to realise just how true those words were in the last few weeks.
He gave his best smile back to Ryuga when she smiled at him, he knew if he broke down that would just make everything turn for the worse and they couldn’t afford that. As she started to speak, her gaze shifted to somewhere behind him. Lilac eyes followed the girl’s line of sight and he realised...
He had actually been so busy trying to support than he had not really thought about who they were up against. It wasn’t like he hadn’t studied, he had read and memorised the top 10 Villains constantly. That was Nidhogg, and his quirk… He felt a tugging as Ryuga used him to get on her knees. He wasn’t probably strong enough to carry her and travel very fast They needed to get away but where could they run? The Villain would surely just follow?
What could he do in this situation? What was the right answer? He could see the flames now spiraling out of the Villain, as if in slow motion. Where they going to die here? The wall of flame was so wide, he wasn’t sure they could be clear of it even if they jumped now. Maybe if he covered Ryuga’s vital parts she might survive...
When Ryuga got to her feet, he followed suit only to be grabbed suddenly into a tight hug and...wait what was happening…?
Raphael felt himself flying through the air, the rush of flames grazing past them. He could smell a whiff of burnt hair and fabric as the inferno rushed past behind them. Did he even feel his gym jacket singe at the very corner of his shoulder and the feeling of burning skin? Hardly. His song had of course cut off as he hit the wooden floor with a hard thud, breaking their fall landing with Ryuga on top of him.
He immediately pushed himself up as soon as he was able, he could already hear Ryuga breathing strangely and alarm bells rang. He...didn’t know all the information about his classmate’s quirk yet. Which was a failure on his part and he was paying now. What was wrong?
“H-Hoden san??”
Raphael said, finally being able to speak though as he helped her sit down, he noticed the arm she had covered him with had a long, large burn. At least second degree if not more. They...really needed help. He knew technically the others could be having problems too, and they should try and sort this out themselves by retreating now but… too many people were injured and he couldn’t move them all. Glancing over at Taka he wasn’t even sure the boy should be moved without some treatment first.
Keep calm Raphael. If you lose your mind now everyone will pay for it.
The blonde took a deep breath, closing his eyes just for a second to try and collect himself.
Empty your mind Empty your mind Empty your mind Empty your mind
He could do this. Okay.
He had to do a few things.
Keep singing.
Get help.
“Hoden-san...please… stay here… “
He said softly to Ryuga before straightening up. His speakers had...incinerated and were no more. It was just lucky technically, he didn’t need them, specially for somewhere that was designed to carry sound like the theater. He took a deep breath. Really he needed water but he didn’t have time to grab it. Oh well, he’d sing as much as he could.
Trying to ignore everything else still going on around him he started to sing. It wasn’t in a language that probably any in the room would recognise- it was his most basic song of alleviation, the lyrics were in Latin. But it was also the one he had been hammered in since he was small so he could sing it correctly even if he was on the verge of breaking down.
He pulled out his phone as he started to sing, typing out a message in hopes someone will see it and come and help them- it was the worst situation but it was all he could do.

Finale As the flames seem to have missed their mark in incinerating Raphael Seraphine and Ryuga Hoden, the Death Dragon stands in shock as it was Ryuga to save the boy herself. Did that... his eyes were fixated on her, as she began to cough and wheeze. His fatherly instincts kicked in immediately, as he stepped forward. He had failed as a parent. Not only did he use Ryuga as a pawn in his game, he had fully intended to let her die if the blonde ran away or failed to save her. He was a failure. Raphael found himself running to call for help, and as he kept singing, and called for help, leaving Ryuga crying and gasping for air, it was almost like the girl was drowning on land. The horrid sounds of the blonde trying to hold on as much as she could, while the blonde would send his texts out. A moment later, and any number of fatalities could have taken a student forever. He was stopped completely in his tracks by the the least threatening Futaba Himura, the fight in his veins gone. And the attack would begin. It was a combination of parental fear, and his personal guilt and failure that allowed him to be so susceptible to Futaba's Quirk. The fact he had hardly seen this girl do anything, and yet, the moment their eyes would meet, Ryuji felt it all at once. His head throbbed immensely, enough so that he could feel his mind shattering, as if someone threw a rock in an already flimsy glass house. It was impossible to think with any amount of clarity, and piecing together anything was becoming hard. As The Marionettist would run to the door in order to escape, leaving his partner in crime as Taka Hone would fall into a state of unconsciousness after his run in with the Marionettist's attacker. As he collided into the chairs, and would fall into that slumber, with that thing holding him in place. It was not the ideal way to go out, but as the Marionetist left and cut the ties with it, Taka was left to bleed out until medical assistance could be given. It was the moment when Daiki Satou took advantage of Futaba's attack on Nidhogg's mind, that the entire fight turned around. With confidence surging through his body, the blonde would make a final gamble to impact the foe as Futaba would finally let go. With all of his might, Daiki would slam his fist into the Death Dragon's chest, and for the first time, Nidhogg seemed to go limp as he flew through the air, into a wall. His eyes were glazed over, with the last thing he could hear was the coughing and wheezing of his beloved daughter. He was no father. As his head fell forward, limp, surprisingly, the blonde had done it. By some combination of strength, and parental failure, Nidhogg was down for the count. The tone in the theater changed. The hardest victory of their lives fought for and won. But at what cost? Taka laid a bleeding out mass under the Marionettist's creature, a broken bloody bone pile. Ryuga would be drowning, unable to breathe properly without assistance, with some heavy burns. Futaba had overexerted herself just to hit Nidhogg just enough, having held on as long as she could. The only ones who made it out somewhat okay were Daiki and Raphael, and the former had something close to a broken, or at least a badly sprained leg with numerous wounds adding to that. ~ ~ ~ It wasn't long. Akasu Naibun would find his way into the theater first, seeing the massacre that would sit before him. It was thanks to Raphael's message that he even managed to know of the damages. Not even a minute after, Dr. Yori Shisutemu would enter the room as well. The bomb was still in the grand piano, and to anyone who walks up to it merely needs to play the tune on the sheet music left for them. Only then, would they be able to open the piano. Only to find... at the bottom. A paper saying Bomb UA 3. With a device that would give the same signatures as the bomb if one were to detect it. A cruel joke. The cruelest joke of all. Not a bomb in sight. Remaining: Nidhogg (CAPTURED)
P.S. This is the final round. From here on, DMing has ended. Well done, Student A.

As he fingered at the cuffs with gulp, he looked to Hoshiko, Hoshiko, and Hoshiko once again. [break][break] He gripped at his mouth, his eyes watering. For Akasu, this may have been the first time he ever saw the grown doctor tear up completely. But for Yori, the only thing he saw was his daughter, coughing and wheezing much weaker than before, needing oxygen. The same daughter, collapsed and unable to tell what was going on. And another broken daughter, bleeding out profusely in the chairs. His breathing became much heavier, as he wiped his eyes. The room around him constrained, attempting to choke the life right out of him without ever laying a finger on him. He needed to breathe. He needed... he needed a drink. Badly. [break][break] Clarity from the man himself rang out of his mouth. "Akasu-" his voice was pained, as he attempted so desperately to hold onto something, anything stable. "-t... tend to the children. I need to apply this bind to... to the villain now. Else they... they may try something else as we apply aid."[break][break] He couldn't breathe. His walk was pained, as he forced his way over, not ignoring his daughters cries. He saw him... "... Nidhogg..." his mouth was agape. And he felt himself hit the wall beside of the bastard dragon dad. How could he have been so fucking stupid?! He had sent these kids to an early grave. He failed again. And again. And again. A nightmare he could never wake up from. [break][break] The binds would shackle Nidhogg in place. Yori needed a minute. [break][break] As he looked at this phone, trying to focus on something else, he looked at the chat again. With a nod, he took a deep breath in, as he nodded toward Akasu. He moved his way to Akasu. Gave a nod. The doctor would help, but right now he had to stop anymore close calls. Psycho Cure was in the cafeteria. Therefore, he needed to be quick. Yori exits the theater, a quick walk to the cafeteria. [break][break][break] Mood[attr="class","addy"] addy

Akasu strode as fast as he could through the empty hallways on U.A, his white coat flying behind him, most of the students were in their dorms by now, thank god. There had been some small amount of panic and chaos even at a hero school and some students had got hurt in the scuffle which he had been treating before he received that message on the student chat app (that the teachers probably weren’t meant to know the existence of, most likely…) requesting urgent help, so he wrapped things up and got a few of the students with some first aid knowledge to watch over the station for him while he made his way to the Theater.
There was something he was rather worried about- Hone taka from 1-A was missing from his bed, he had only noticed after the chaos erupted and patients started to file into his office and he had no way of knowing if the student in question was safe- he hoped to god he was, but if he had learnt anything from the years he had been a support pro hero and then working in U.A as a nurse...was that heroes and heroes to be had the knack of getting into the worst situations possible, at the worst possible time.
Pushing open the heavy doors to the theater, the man was met with an overwhelming smell of smoke. His trained eyes quickly scanned the area- 5 students, 1 unconcious, 3 conscious, one coughing...and… was that Nidhogg??? Unconscious on the floor. An almost sorrowful song echoed through the room- it was Raphael Seraphine’s quirk, if he recalled that song had healing properties. That was, provided he was mentally stable. Looking at the current situation that may not be the case...but he thought anything would help currently, even if by a small amount.
“What happened here? And yes, Dr.Shisutemu, if you could do that, that would be great.”
Akasu was aware the other teacher was not in a good place, but unfortunately that was the least of his problems with the students in such a bad state. He rushed over first to a bloodied student nearest to him and took a deep breath.
Well, he had found the missing student alright. In a far, far worse shape than he had been before. He had read up on the boy’s file and the worst thing was, this guy’s quirk was the worst thing to treat when he was unconscious, the synergy between his own healing quirk and the injuries most commonly suffered by this boy was pretty bad when it seemed to render the teen unconcious a lot of the time. The bleeding was worse this time, he wasn’t sure his medicines would set the amount of blood that was coming out. He messaged Mikaku, hoping to god the other would come soon as he applied some first aid at least.
“Can the students who can understand what is going on sit in these chairs over here so I can examine you all?”
He should look at the one with the burn next… which one was that? He glanced over at the student who seemed to have trouble breathing and dragged his whole medical bag over to the blonde girl. The large burn on her arm said that this was the burn victim. It didn’t look as bad as he had feared, but he was more concerned about the breathing. The nurse pulled out an oxygen mask and small canister out, fixing it on the girl’s face after informing her he was doing so.
“Take slow, even breaths for me.”

Waves. Light. Flashing. Spots. Colour. Clouds. Sun. Music. Pain. Needles. Distortion.Futaba Himura could not see or sense her surroundings. She felt distant from everything, as if she was floating in darkness. She knew she was awake, she could hear people talking. Stuff was happening. She could feel her arms touching something. Something she could not see. Her eyes were open, right? She was awake, right? The pain in her head had gotten stronger, feeling as if someone was trying to split open her skull using a rusty spoon. It was unbereable and she could not remember the last time she felt such pain, at least from using her quirk. She has felt pain like this before but never from her quirk. Suddenly, clarity. The stage, the people, and the piano started getting into focus. She was laying on the stage, her body felt sore but otherwise fine. The headache was still there but not as bad as it was a couple minutes ago. Looking around the stage, she could see the villain from before. "Did I do that?" Fu thought through her strained mind. She didn't know what happened, but she knew she did something to help. Blinking, she sat up. The theatre sure was nice. She loved this place. The piano was still there. She imagined that the bomb had been discovered. Getting up, she felt delicate, as if the slightest touch could break her. Peering at the sheet music left at the piano, she smiled a bit. "Mariage D'amour? Interesting." Shrugging a bit, she sat down behind the piano. Piano was not her preferred instrument but it sounded nice to her. Cracking her fingers, she positioned her fingers to start playing. She imagined people needed something in this chaos.

Inhale.
Exhale.
For all intensive purposes what he'd done had... Worked. Standing there slouched forward, one arm dropping to grip the top of a nearby chair he looked towards the cratered Nidhogg that was in the process of being handcuffed by Yori. His breathing was ragged, his eyes partially closed with fatigue and just as much effort that had gone into delivering the punch was now going into keeping himself up. The energy just... Wasn't there, and he wanted to fall over on a bed or something. The blood that had drained over part of his face didn't help his look any. He looked battled for sure, but the worst thing is his condition was something that could be overseen by relativity.
The news rarely tells about how it feels after a fight, the fight could only be part of the battle for a hero. The rest is... Saving people. A new admiration for medical technicians clicked in the back of his head, and he recognized that to be a Hero meant more than just to defeat the Villain, but it also meant to save those that were in danger. Did he fail this time? That was questionable, if relativity wasn't taken into account he certainly did but in reality it was just a lack of preparation. There's probably some kind of medical course in their three years or something, he just wasn't there yet. She he was left to look about towards the multiple exhibits in the room. Yori had the Villain handled, the cuffs plus the Villains unconscious state being more than enough to handle them. Akasu had moved over towards Ryuga who was on the ground, asking those who needed medical attention to move over and take a seat somewhere. Though, maybe he could help? Telling a teacher what to do might seem strange, but he knew what Ryuga did that Akasu never got to see. Her lungs are likely filled with water, chest compression's and coughing might get it out. Or... Maybe that would work. Just in case he spoke up. "Naibun-sensei... She used her quirk with water, her lungs might have some in them..." He'd say weekly so if he thought he needed to, he could adjust his treatment of Ryuga.
Then there was Taka, god, Taka was the worst off. Truthfully he did it himself, but it's necessary to protect people from themselves sometimes too. The boy was killing himself with this. There's probably a reason he lost his arm, but thinking about that right now was besides the point. He had to make himself useful in the best way possible, with things seemingly coming to a close he'd have a nice soft bed in a couple hours. Looking towards Fu, that was the hardest thing. She just looked... Lost? Like her quirk had fried her own brain, and he could only hope it was temporary. With no physical injuries to tend to by all assessment he figured she would be okay and not die at least, he couldn't be biased. Taka needed him more than she did, and he made his way over. His steps were deliberate but steady and he used the chairs for support. Getting to where Taka was... He's no Doctor, and Taka was really messed up. Based on what he knew of the quirk it was his own skeleton, so pressure is a bad idea since that's been reassigned from other areas of his body. The bright side was it wasn't like a bullet wound, there was no bullet lost in there to complicate things. He just... Maybe he could wake him up so he could restructure his skeleton? But that would only encourage more bleeding from the wounds. He was also unconscious, so Raphael's healing wasn't really an option. At the very least, it helped him. Probably why he was even on his feet right now, a mixture of that and willpower. He had more than enough reason to just pass out, but he couldn't yet.
He just... Picked up the scuffed up wizard hat from the floor and sat down next to Taka. Tearing it into cloth ribbons he'd tie them around the base of the bone spikes to stop bleeding around the edges. To give Taka more time for the paramedics to arrive and for him to be properly stabilized, with an IV and everything.
Well, he was sitting. In that regard he'd also followed instruction, sticking with another injured. He was occupied trying to make sure the boy wouldn't bleed out too soon though. His own injuries were secondary with his selflessness and Raphael's healing reaching his ears.

“Thanks Doc-sensei~!”
Mikaku said with a bright smile, glancing over at Ren.
“You sur~e? Got no surficial wounds or anything? Cos I can fix those ez and better if we have one less person collapse, preventative is always the best treatment! Or so Akanacchi would say haha…”
He said as stopped for a moment to push the winged needle into his vein which was attached to a rubber tubing and syringe on the other end. The two made their way to the theater, the distinct smell of something having been burnt filled the large room, and Mikaku tried to focus in the dim light at what was going on.
“...Hey guys~ Heard you need a hand?”
He called out loudly, his voice echoing clearly. ...wait WAS THAT NIDHOGG ON THE FLOOR?? He tried to hold back his shock before he spotted a white coat, it was Naibun-sensei keeling next to a girl seated on the chair. There was also an unconscious Taka from 1-A he had met a few weeks ago laying nearby with multiple laceration wounds. He could only assume that the girl Akasu was treating was the burn victim as Raphael was singing and seemed mostly fine and Futaba also seemed unharmed in the general scheme of things, and the big guy from 1-A...Daiki right? He had healed him before in their quirk control class. He didn’t seem to be that bad either and he was sitting next to Taka’s unconscious body.
“...Ren-chan, can you go to Akanacchi and see what you can do? Pretty sure that girl has a burn maybe you can help...if he’s got her, if you can see if anyone has anything that needs to be put on ice like I dunno, concussion or bruises or whatever Ima go look at Honepi~”
He instructed his kouhai in a firm but warm tone before he stopped the valve on the tube in his arm to be able to change the syringe attached as he moved towards the two.
“Hey hey Ducky, how you holding up? Sorry for the delay, we got a biiiit held up back in the cafeteria...Does anything feel real bad?”
Mikaku asked as he knelt down next to Hone. Damn, the bleeding was bad, he had to set the skin around all the bones even if it was gonna cause a little bit of an issue later on, it was better than just letting him bleed out...
“Riiiight~”
He said taking a deep breath and applying a small squirt to each cut on the teen’s body. He had to make sure he wasn’t overdoing it and running out of blood like...last time. No, this time he was okay, he was calm, he got this.
“Think paramedics should be coming soon anyway so we should have this under control!”
The third year said with a smile at Daiki. Wow, this year’s 1st years kinna had it tough, he didn’t know what he would have done if this happened to him when he was in first year...

Post by Ren Wolff on Apr 30, 2019 4:44:33 GMT
Ren had been looking down at the tile floor in an effort to focus on moving, but the sound of someone approaching made him glance up. It was none other than the eccentric doctor himself... although Ren noticed with some surprise that the look on his face was far different than any expression the boy had even seen him wear. There were no silly poses, no forced bravado, no ridiculous assertions. Given how the professor normally acted, Ren would have been nervous with just him going to back up his fellow students but... looking at him now the boy actually felt reassured, he was serious about this. He stopped for a brief moment to give the support teacher a grateful nod, and then continued on after Mika, they still had places to be after all.
Ren shook his head as his senior repeated the question about treatment, though the pain that had been generated from running was pretty clear on his face. The ache with every breath made it pretty clear that the injury wasn't limited to just surface damage, and from what he read in the chat log, he didn't want to lose any time getting to the theater. Besides, the more he managed to fight through the pain, the more distant it seemed. It didn't make the physical act of running any easier, but it did help his mind keep track of the situation better.
Though it certainly felt like a small eternity to Ren, the pair soon arrived at the entrance to the theater, and as they walked through the door time screeched to a halt. The first thing the blonde noticed was the smell of fire and smoke, still strong in the air. The room was an absolute mess, with a mix of smoldering frames and utterly demolished seats taking up a good chunk of the interior. The first and most obvious thing he saw was the hulking form that was collapsed on the stage. It almost looked like a dra- Wait a minute. He recognized that form, the same visage that had popped up on so many news broadcasts in the past. His eyes went wide from a mix of surprise and instinctual fear at the realization. The Death Dragon. Nidhogg. Ren's brain just stopped for a second. Sure, someone claiming to be Psycho Cure showed up in the cafeteria and that had been quite a shock, but there was no faking a literal dragon. Given the villains reputation, it was a wonder how the building was even still standing. And even more of a wonder how someone had managed to take him down. Just what the hell had really happened here?
As he stood in a daze for a few seconds, the first year noticed something else creep into his senses. Someone was singing... He followed the source of the sound to see Raphael, and from there his mind slowly started moving again. His classmate was next to Akasu and... That was Ryuga. Even from where he stood he could see the damage, she must have been the one that got burned. Fu was up sitting at the piano, which had somehow managed to stay intact, but something was off, like she was in some sort of daze. Daiki seemed to be in one piece, but he was sitting next to... Oh god, that was a lot of blood. Was that... Taka? He'd only seen the boy a handful of times, but it was clear enough that he was in the most dire of states out of the group.
Ren wanted to close his eyes and just wish the whole scene away, it was like something out of a nightmare, but his eyes just continued to take in every gruesome detail in front of him. These people were his friends, some of the only he'd had ever since he left his home in Berlin, and seeing them like this fed as much fear as it did anger. And there wasn't any outlet. He was starting to feel sick, a knot forming in his stomach, and he almost didn't register Mika's instructions. He blinked several times as he moved his gaze to the year. How the hell was he so calm about this? Was it experience or... no. He was probably calm because he needed to be. Because losing his cool would only make things worse when they were there to help. Ren shook his head and forced himself to take a deep breath, earning another wince as his ribs protested. Oddly enough the pain actually helped this time, it put him back in the moment and helped his brain process.
Giving Mika a nod, Ren Carefully picked his way over to where Akasu was with Ryuga and Raphael. Drawing closer he could get a clearer picture of both the girl's injuries and her current state. Burns covered a good chunk of the side of her body and these was clearly something wrong with the way she was breathing. Just looking made the knot in his stomach start to come back, but he pushed through it and knelt down beside the school nurse. "Naibun-Sensei, w-what... what do you need me to do?"
