An apology must be said in advance. The fool behind Chihiro has never practice aikido and quite frankly isn’t going to search in depth for the terminology for each move beyond checking a few videos to be sure said fool has the concepts down. Therefore, severe, lazy artistic liberty has been taken with the description of how Heartstrings attempts to handle the Red Doctor swinging the wheelchair. Yeehaw.
… Returning to the proper air of gravity for this reply: Chihiro yelped aloud, more bewildered in the sudden change of temperment in the masked things rather than the fact a wheelchair was being swung. During her internship days, she’d seen people with strength quirks using their supposed allies as weapons mid-combat. The makeshift weaponry people would pull off in a pinch didn’t phase her much anymore.
While normally Chihiro would fall back in these scenarios, her pacifism only went so far as to be non-lethal and non-cruel. Once the other person threw the first punch, she was justified in both personal morality and career duty to finish the fight.
… Or, at least, she would have had to try if Ace Pilot didn’t come over to handle that one. She let out a grateful nod before looking towards the ambulance (and Fire Fox, who had gone inside). “Good job! Though… it’s weird that there’s a big one... Are all the others going to be big?” Oh, well. If it was as easy to disarm with the blue wires as the others, everything would be fine!
Chihiro bounced along the edges of the battle again, keeping an eye on her allies in case anyone got hurt and needed help, but otherwise blissfully spared the knowledge that this bomb wouldn’t be as easy as the others. The fool behind Chihiro might not be able to name aikido moves, but the fool tries not to metagame.
