Awwwww shucks! Why was it that Riku had all the rotten luck? It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon and the weather couldn't have been better. The sky was a spotless cyan. The temperature was abnormally mild. And the breeze was so comforting, that if one was lying down they would almost certainly close their eyes and pass out near instantly. Yet enjoying the beautiful day wasn't what Riku was doing. OOooooooh no! Instead of doing any of that, he was instead standing just inside of the ID locked gate. Just a mere ten feet from the entrance, positioned with his back on a tree.
With a folder full of documents placed neatly beside him on the ground, Riku was dressed in what was the norm for a U.A. student. Their uniform!~ He would have wore something a bit more eye catching, but considering he was on a mission designated by the school, he thought it might be better if he was dressed in something recognizable. Now. He could probably go on and on complaining about how he was wasting his afternoon running errands for the school and whatnot like any normal student probably would....but he if did. Well. He'd be a liar. While on the outside he seemed rather neutral to maybe somewhat slightly bored, Riku was actually dancing with anticipation on the inside. Given that this assignment had been a volunteer one, Riku 'begrudgingly' accepted the burden as his own seeing as how it had to do with a rather special subject.
And so wait there he did. He hadn't been given an exact time about when the transfer was supposed to arrive but the timeframe that he had been given was apparently between 10:30 and 11:30. And yet as his phone told him it was five minutes past noon....well. Riku was starting to wonder just where this individual was. He had no clue whether the person he was supposed to meet was a guy or girl yet he likely could have found out if he had poked his nose into the welcome folder she had been given yet doing such a thing was unheard of! Even for a guy like Riku! He wasn't above many things! But prying into stuff that wasn't his, well that was something he tried to avoid at all costs! Which was why the folder had been in the exact same pristine condition as it had been when he'd received it. But like before. He would have been lying to ya if he told ya he wasn't even the least bit curious. He was always curious about knowing things which weren't any of his business. And seeing how the person he was waiting for was late...
...Well now he was getting antsy. Dark blue eyes shifting to the folder on the ground, Riku felt a small growing urge inside of him. The light green folder just sat on the ground practically taunting him. It called out to him like an irresistible siren's song. It told him that it wanted to be read. And it told him that being that it's true owner was late...and well. It wouldn't have hurt to just see what the transfer's name was right? Especially since he might have needed to go and find them! Yeah! YEAH! That was the right! He was doing this to go and help them! Not for any other reason! Nope nope nope! His intentions were entirely pure!
Thankfully though, just before he lost what little of his willpower that remained, he heard a familiar beep as the gate happily chimed and an unlocking mechanism could be heard. Snapping himself from the call of the folder, Riku shook his head lightly as he ducked down, grab the evil carrying case full of files, and began to lightly jog towards the entrance. Putting on his best smile he could offer, Riku gave the new hero the best welcome he could.

A new transfer student.
And seeing how that meant they would be joining the class.
Riku instantly jumped at the chance to meet them first and corrup- er- GUIDE them! Yes! Guide them!
Being that he was their senior in the class, it was only right of him to make sure that they got off to the right foot after all ya know!?

Or so he told himself.

"Welcome to U.A!~"
Naturally this was yelled.
Why was this yelled you ask?
Well. Because it was Riku of course.
