Chiura's father had told her about the Ryuusei Bar and Grill. He and his coworkers had eaten there for a business dinner, and he had come home singing his praises to Chiura in hopes that she would give it a try. "You'll love it!" He had exclaimed; the portions were massive and the food was decently priced for how much you got and how good it was. For a girl like Chiura, who had a bad habit of eating an entire fridge's worth of food in one sitting, it sounded like the perfect treat -- and so the girl had gone to try it out. It was meant to be a sort of self-celebration; a special treat to reward herself for attaining her goal of entering U.A.

Sadly, her father had conveniently left out a crucial detail. Ryuusei was, after all, rather small relative to its success -- and the closely-stacked tables and chairs did not exactly allow easy purchase for a massive, serpentine woman.

Chiura's cheeks burned fiercely as she pushed her way through the establishment, a sputtered word of apology offered to the elderly couple who nearly found their table upended by an errant flick of the end of Chiura's muscular tail. "Oh, gosh, I'm so sorry! Please, excuse me," she said, bowing repeatedly from the waist as she attempted to navigate her way towards the very back of the room.

"Maybe this was a mistake, she grimaced, shaking her head as she came to the foyer proper. The little sign said to wait to be seated; somehow, Chiura thought she would likely be turned away at the door. Hard to 'seat' a woman who needed to coil around something just to be comfortable, after all, and while most establishments made an effort to be quirk friendly this was likely to be a bridge too far. It would not be the first time such had happened; Chiura had been denied entry to her fair share of restaurants merely because of her size and length.

The podium was, for now, unoccupied. Chiura curled her tail beneath her as best she could, arms crossed under her chest as she hugged her hoodie close to her. Behind her right shoulder, she heard a young child chattering about the snake monster in the restaurant. Chiura grimaced and did her best to tune them out.

Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful?

"Just a minute!" was the voice that soon rang out, the figure of a young man... goat? Goat man? Young goat man? ...Point being, a goat dressed in a white button-up shirt, brown vest and slacks, and black tie emerged from behind the back area, emerald-green eyes surveying the restaurant before falling upon the newly arrived customer. "Ah! Welcome to the Ryuusei Bar and Grill, where our service can take you to the stars!" he said, a cute little slogan for a cute little restaurant. Emphasis on little. By the time the goat boy had fully laid eyes upon the lady, he'd now realize that her lower half was much larger than most of the restaurant! But not to worry! Tyrodin was a resourceful young man, so he'd find a way to help her be comfortable like everyone else!

Tyrodin made his way over to the podium, weaving in-between the tables and seated patrons with relative ease before giving a welcoming bow to the snake girl who had been patiently waiting. "Sorry for the wait, Miss! It's just me right now, since my manager is currently out grabbing more supplies from the market! Sorry to have kept you waiting!" he says. Emerald-green eyes soon start to survey the young lady before him, as if analyzing her from head-to-toe. Hmm.. it wasn't often that the restaurant got large-tailed folks as customers. But, it wasn't often that they turned them away either! Tyrodin soon turned himself a bit, extending an arm towards the bar stools lined around the bar space where the kitchen was. "Please, right this way!" he said, taking the time to set chairs and other items aside so as to make it easier for the gal to traverse the restaurant.

It was still a tad crowded, sure, but the girl would find that the other patrons were soon taking care to move themselves accordingly so as not to trip her up at all. Sure, the initial response to her appearance might have seemed negative at first, but she would soon find the other patrons were more than accepting, especially since a good number of them were those with Mutation Quirks much like herself and Tyrodin. Others were regular human customers who seemed to treat this as if it were an every day occurrence. Now one might think that a place like this only had regular wooden bar stools. However, these were instead the turning seats with steel stools bolted into the floor! Perhaps the establishment served customers with Quirks similar to the naga's situation? Either way, it was pretty convenient, As the goat boy soon gestured for her to take a seat as he placed a small menu upon the counter top where she'd be dining.

"Please, please! Do take a seat! Is this your first time here?" he inquired, offering a warm smile as he set down the utensils behind the menu, eagerly awaiting her reply.

Chiura hadn't really formulated any sort of concrete expectation as to her server, but a small goat would not have been high on any list that she would have been inclined to formulate. He was dressed rather smartly in what she could only assume was the uniform of the place -- though that didn't distract Chiura from his eyes as they drifted to the first thing that all eyes found when they first examined the girl.

Chiura smiled as he flitted between tables, fetching his fixings from the podium before setting outwards with an apology for her wait. He was, at the very least, incredibly professional. She gave him a bright smile, even as he gave her an inquisitive once-over.

He invited her in -- a significant hurdle overcome, as Chiura had been turned away from her fair share of little restaurants in the past. He even had the courtesy to make way for her as she slithered dutifully behind him; the kind gesture made her smile, even if it was only really meant to preserve the sanctity of the restaurant's less-effectively-secured furniture. She took care to keep her tail in check, though it was fairly slow going; by virtue of her means of ambulation, she tended to fare better in places with wide open swaths to slither within.

To Chiura's happy surprise, the seats were far more suited to someone of her legless persuasion than she had anticipated. She happily coiled around the indicated selection, perching atop the little steel tower with a comfy little sigh of relief. It was a load off of her scaly rump to not have to keep herself perched upwards; this was a lovely, elegant solution to not having to choose between constant muscular flexion and the far-less-formal lounging that her body was more accustomed to.

"It is!" she confirmed with a broad, fanged grin. Chiura, as usual, towered over her companion; she did her best to make her facial expression as encouraging and kind as possible as she spoke. "I'm very excited to try it. I've heard nothing but good things!"
