RUMOR/SECRET: | can be minor/major, something about them that's whispered in the streets~ |
Give about a paragraph description of your characters personality. Think of their motivations, their goals, their fears, habits, and pet peeves. What would stump them in a job interview? Are they a dog or cat person? Do they enjoy the city or prefer nature? Get into their heads. The more detailed, the better the character!
BACKGROUND HISTORY
PLACE OF BIRTH/HOMETOWN: | hometown here |
PARENTS: | parents here (if applicable) |
SIBLINGS: | siblings here |
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: | significant other (if applicable) |
OTHER: | children/pets/whatever |
This is where the largest part of your app goes, the history of your character. Don't be afraid to go into detail, the more detailed the more established your character is. A character that has worked themselves up the ranks is more likely to have a more detailed historical biography. Try to keep it 200 word minimum for basic lower-level characters. Also keep things as realistic as possible, tragedy does not automatically create interesting characters nor does extremism (for every 17 year old school girl that has murdered 40 people in a single year without detection a puppy dies, keep this in mind). Have fun with it though~
THE ARMORY
This here is your inventory, everything you plan to use in battle such as weapons, hero suit, support items must be declared here. Think of it as one might the inventory in a video game, you can't use what you don't have here in combat, so be careful!
QUIRK & SKILLS
13th
TYPE: Mutation
RANK/LEVEL: B
SUMMARY: Kurai is a being of the dark. His physiology had entirely mutated in such a way that he gains strength from darkness - or more accurately, the absence of light. The less light there is, the more powerful he becomes - which inversely acts with an increased quantity of it. In fact, under certain conditions, enough bursts or a length of extreme light exposure can and will kill him.
Physically, his 'skin' feels inexplicably cold and smooth - more similar to stone than actual flesh, though it has the same durability as a normal person under normal conditions. Despite having the same general shape as a normal human 'male' - Kurai was born genderless due to the strange composition of his body. His blood is as dark as his body, and once it leaves his body takes on the consistency of tar. He still has a 'mouth' and requires the same food intake, but doesn't produce waste.
Strangely enough, he is also entirely incapable of producing his own shadow. No matter the angle or brightness, it is physically impossible for one to materialize - the light will hit his body but 'pierce' and continue as if nothing was blocking it.
To understand how light and darkness affects him, a general ascending list is below, with green being beneficial, yellow being 'normal person', and red being detrimental.
Lighting Scale:
Friday gains a host of benefits the darker it is, performs almost like a regular human in 'Room' lighting, and is weakened in bright conditions. It should be noted that Friday is naturally stronger than the average person (though not by much).
Across all darkness levels, Friday's physical stature shifts - growing more slender, sleek, and growing claw-like fingers and fangs, along with a varying boost physical strength and varying regenerative capabilities (as long as his head is intact). In 'Pitch-Black' and 'Dark' conditions, he also gains the ability to 'shadowstep', a technique in which Friday literally melds into the shadows to safely and rapidly move across dark areas.
Pitch-Black: The most powerful conditions for his Quirk to thrive under, Friday becomes strong enough to lift nearly 60k pounds, with both his punches and claw swipes becoming powerful enough to tear through stone and sheets of steel with ease.
His regeneration becomes strong enough to fully heal minor wounds smaller parts of his body (hands, feet) and shallow gashes and low-caliber gunshot wounds within one post, while medium wounds (arms, legs) along with deep cuts and assault rifle gunshot wounds take two posts. Heavy wounds like near-bisection, sniper rounds, and severe brightness damage all takes four posts. He can survive decapitation as long as his head remains intact and can regrow a new body in five posts.
'Shadowstep' takes only one post to initiate, after which he may stay within the safe haven as long as wishes - traveling upwards of 200mph while sticking within the appropriate level of darkness. Exiting Shadowstep takes one full post, and moving to a lighter patch of shade or shining a light on his spot will force him out early.
Dark: Friday gains enough power to lift 30k pounds, and is able to demolish stone with little issue. Thicker sheets of steel and armor are a bit more troublesome to rip or pierce, but he is still capable of doing so.
His regeneration is a bit more limited, as this time he cannot survive decapitation, and takes two posts for minor wounds, four for medium, and six for heavy.
Shadowstep takes two posts to initiate, with a top speed of 120mph.
Dim: His power is over halved , this time settling around 10k pounds. His attacks can break stone, but have a much rougher time against steel and steel-durability enemies. They aren't impervious, but are much much more resilient.
His regeneration is limited to healing only minor and medium wounds, at three and five posts respectively.
Gloomy: The last tier of 'boosted' power, Friday can lift slightly over one ton at 2.5k pounds, can break through stone over time, and only dents and chips at hardened steel surfaces.
His regeneration is limited to only minor wounds, and at a rate of four posts.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
Across all brightness levels, Friday sees a decrease to his speed, strength, and overall stamina - with a burning feeling that sizzles across his body that intensifies the brighter it gets. 'Blinding' light can even temporarily stun or completely incapacitate him depending on the amount and length of exposure, after which continued exposure will become lethal.

{CLICK HERE}
Pitch-Black: Total or near-total darkness that makes it impossible to even see your hand in front of your face. This darkness is highly unnatural and will never be found outside, only in manmade circumstances.
Dark: Moonless nights, or indoors with dying or distant lights. Visibility is extremely limited to only a few feet at most. Highly unusual to occur naturally.
Dim: Low-lighting such as candlelight or a cloudy moon. Visibility is limited to tens of feet and is a bit rare naturally. Dark patches of shade during daylight.
Gloomy: Heavily overcast days, orange security lighting, torchlight. Visibility goes a good distance before fading. Only a bit uncommon.
Room: Soft lighting, overcast mornings, light patches of shade (generally cast by people) during daylight.
Illuminated: Morning sunlight, bathroom lighting, flashlight beams.
Bright: Fire (when close), high-powered flashlights, midmorning sun.
Searing: Midday sunlight, car headlights, explosions.
Blinding: High-powered searchlights, flashbangs, some Quirks. Doesn't occur naturally.

SKILL NAME
RANK/LEVEL: (write proposed rank here)
SUMMARY:
A good paragraph explaining the details of this skill, remember that it will coordinate with their skill level.
- Skills are what a NORMAL human can learn with enough time and practice/talent.
- Anything supernatural or breaking force of nature is a QUIRK so bear that in mind!
- Skills and quirks cannot overlap (E.g Strength boost skill + strength quirk)- So pick one please!
- In general, someone with a non combatant quirk will be allowed more higher level skills and vice-versa with combat oriented quirks being regulated to lower end skills..
