yuuto looks very reminiscent to your typical high school delinquent, with his dyed hair, bad posture, and natural scowl. it certainly doesn't help that his taste in clothing (sweatpants which nearly fall off his waist, that t-shirt he's worn for three days in a row, his clearly oversized hoodies) simply adds to his bad image. then again, he can never find it within himself to care so much about appearances. (although, even if he won’t admit it, he does occasionally take time out to clean himself up. somehow, the kid does it well...)
regardless, his tanned skin does well in complimenting his blonde hair, bringing less attention to the shorter than average eyebrows he possesses. unfortunately, the same cannot be said for his physique, which is not terrible but definitely nothing that says he’s shredded. (if anything, it’s enough to keep his weight healthy, to go through his usual exercise routine without too much exhaustion.) he thankfully has his baggy clothes to hide this fact.

PERSONALITY
LIKES relaxinghelping people video games music | DISLIKES winterliars rude customers authority |
RUMOR/SECRET: | absolute momma's boy |
the way in which yuuto carries himself is reflective in his motto: “it’s my life. not yours.”
he is stuck in the mindset of doing what he wants, when he wants to. whether that be not getting an education, dressing as if he’s homeless, or perhaps blowing all his pocket money off in one night. whatever. to him, the only thing that matters is his enjoyment derived from such actions. after all, isn’t that what life is about? finding one’s own happiness in their own way? he’s a free spirit, unbound and unrestrained.
but of course, when this is all threatened, he does get a tad bit... pissy. indeed, if pissy translates to “a ticking time bomb.” (sometimes, however, it almost gets to the point where it’s childish. like a temper tantrum.)
such behavior has encouraged a rebellious spirit to grow within him, a stubborn streak with no signs of changing. he struggles with receiving orders from anyone aside from his own mother, and will outright fight back if pushed to a certain point. (although, said point is not hard to reach in that situation. in fact, it’s the only scenario in which he loses his cool entirely.) he refuses to be seen as “lesser” or “inferior,” or have anyone try and control his decisions.
thankfully, this idea more often than not bleeds into his treatment of others. yuuto refuses to infringe upon another’s life unless they ask for it. whether it’s an elder, a kid, a hero, villain, police officer... it doesn’t matter. he knows where his lane is, and if anything, does his best to make sure others know theirs as well. in the eyes of others, it looks like yuuto is apathetic due to his insistence upon this notion. downright lazy and uncaring with how he keeps to himself, trying to “relax” more than focus on “important” matters. he thankfully knows to maintain his composure in the face of such judgement. after all, they’re simply on the outside, refusing to look in.
however, this philosophy of his does not reign true in every situation. he just can’t help the sting of satisfaction after helping an old lady cross the street. or maybe bandaging up a kid who fell and hurt themselves. (it’s his mother rubbing off on him. it has to be.) he also tends to get quite uppity about those he cares for, struggling between maintaining his distance, and jumping across a bridge for them. while he’s no idiot, and tries to choose his friends wisely, his loyalty could very well be the death of him. because as long as they don’t turn into an anchor, holding him down, then...

BACKGROUND HISTORY
PLACE OF BIRTH/HOMETOWN: | tokyo |
PARENTS: | hibari kimura (father - alive), alsie kimura (mother - alive) |
SIBLINGS: | n.a |
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: | n.a |
OTHER: | has a puppy named menma |
yuuto's life has been nothing extravagant. nothing head-turning or noteworthy, nothing special.
he was born and raised in tokyo, japan, held within the confines of a small apartment on the eastern side of ikebukuro. now, his family had never been wealthy, but they were loving and accepting, showering yuuto in attention and care. in return, he quickly learned to never ask for much, always taking what he could get with a smile on his face.
however, there was always a small issue that held strong even back then... he could remember his mother's deteriorating health.
she was very weak and sickly, constantly visiting her doctor over different issues. but she never let such a thing discourage her, and not once did yuuto ever see her complain. even when his parents divorced, even when he started getting bullied in elementary school, and especially not when his grandfather passed. no, his mother kept moving forward, outright spat in the face of her circumstances. it inspired him more than anything else ever did. in his young mind, not even heroes could compare to the greatness that was his mother.
in everything he did, she supported and encouraged him, showed him a level of dedication that resonated with his entire being. if anything, it was at her request that he spent more with his father and take up martial arts. and it was due to her that he choose to express himself more and become comfortable within his own skin. it got the point that in his final year of junior high, yuuto begged to work in his mother's flower shop. he couldn't go on without repaying her in some way.
she merely laughed and told him that being her son was enough. but with her kind soul, he got the job anyway.
as time went on though, the more her body began to deteriorate. being born with a weak immune system already put her life at risk, but her age slowly became even moreso of an issue. she was going out less and less, found herself unable to keep up with yuuto in the store. the sight was honestly breaking her son's heart.
so, after graduating high school, yuuto chose to take up working full time in the shop. one year later, that same place is where he still resides, continuing to live his little life.

QUIRK & SKILLS
LIGHT EATER
TYPE: Emitter
RANK/LEVEL: F+
SUMMARY:
yuuto's quirk, "light eater," is almost self-explanatory. it allows the user to absorb (or "eat") any light around them and use it for their own gain. to be more specific, they are capable of using this energy to create light constructs or heal their own wounds. when activated, not only do the user's eyes become a golden hue, but their body begins to emit a soft glow.
the only type of energy that user can take in is solar energy, which is absorbed through their skin and stored for later usage. the amount of time spent in the sun correlates to how much energy is stored in the user's body. for instance, sunbathing for two posts creates a single charge (however, charging is independent of how much skin is showing). as long as they are under the sun and remain focused on the task, this can be done at anytime and anywhere. however, all the energy stored lasts for only one thread, and how long they can "charge" for depends on the quirk's strength.
in terms of the latter, the same goes for light constructs that the user makes (ex. how long they last, how long it takes to make one, etc.). all they must do to create one is simply picture the object in their head, including its dimensions, and then bring it to life. no one else can touch these objects, unless that person wishes to get burned (or has a heat resistant ability), and they can only move/be created within a certain range away from the user.
when it comes to the quirk’s rejuvenation aspect, the severity and number of wounds effects how many charges/how long it takes to heal them. this aspect is a minor part of the overall quirk, meaning that fatal injuries have no chance of being healed. things such as a broken bone, however, can be mended. it would simply be weakened until shown proper medical care.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
- for one, if the user were to try and receive charges over their maximum amount, they would very quickly fall ill. it would be reminiscent to a severe heatstroke, meaning that if they were to not receive medical attention in time, death is likely to occur.
- their constructs are also limited, depending on the user's control and the quirk's power at the time. in yuuto's case, he is someone who has spent little time genuinely utilizing his ability. therefore, he can only store one charge and must take four posts to forge even one construct (10 centimeters maximum in length and width/diameter). it lasts for a single post and cannot go more than one meter away from him, lest it dissipate into nothingness.
- all objects created by the user must be inanimate and realistic. making living things, or objects that would only exist in a video game, is impossible with this power.
- there is a limit on how often the user can regenerate, no matter how proficient they are with the quirk. if they were to go over the usage of three times per thread, their body would shut down from the strain, and put them in a state similar to if they were to overcharge. currently, yuuto's control over his rejuvenation is weak, only capable of healing minor cuts and bruises (takes one charge and two posts).
- the user cannot heal themselves and make a construct at the same time. they must choose one or the other, for “doubling up” would put too much strain on the user’s body and cause them to lose consciousness. to make up for this, they are capable of healing or constructing while doing different tasks (aside from charging). however, anything that places a noticeable strain on their body will put a stop to this immediately (ex. getting the wind knocked out of them, lifting a heavy object, etc.).
- unfortunately, the user is reliant upon direct contact with the sun’s energy (meaning anything like moonlight is unusable). they require at least one charge constantly to function like a proper human being. however, if they’re cut off from the sun and have no charges remaining, they are completely vulnerable. their body would begin to feel extremely lethargic and severe migraines would start to appear, leaving them incapacitated. (this state must last for at least five posts before the user can start recharging.)

MR. KICKASS
RANK/LEVEL: C
SUMMARY:
starting at the young age of ten, yuuto has been a practitioner of kickboxing. originally, he learned it at his mother's request of gaining some self-defense skills, but he has slowly gained an interest in the art. although he has slacked a tad in the past year, he has still maintained his reflexes and muscle memory, along with developing own style of counter-attacking and subduing his opponent.
FLOWER SPECIALIST
RANK/LEVEL: D
SUMMARY:
yuuto has used the past few years under his mother to learn more about flowers of all kinds. although he has not learned everything—he's not an encyclopedia—he is still capable of recognizing a small number, especially a few poisonous ones.
