This was it. The last minute of this godforsaken exercise that she put herself through to keep herself in shape. It wasn't the only one, just the one she disliked due to the smug feline sitting on her back. Tsubame was in the push up position with on of her hands behind her back. A larger than normal cat, about the size of a four year old, sat on her back licking her paw with some smug attitude. Tsubame had just gotten done doing 100 push ups in this position before switching hands and doing the hand she was doing now. Sweat poured down her face as she lowered herself slowly, only to raise herself again just as slowly. Her body screamed at her to stop, but she kept going until she got back up one last time. At the last moment, Kuro hopped off and changed her size back to the normal cat size. She had a quirk that enabled her to change size at will. At most she grew to be over 7 feet, and at her smallest, she shrank to be the size of a hamster. Kuro meowed in her usual 'i'm hungry' tone as Tsubame crumpled to the ground. She pushed herself rather hard today and she could feel it. Her stomach growled angrily as if it was a bear wanting food. It hurt, it all hurt. Her body wanted energy and she knew she had to get it soon. She pulled herself into a ball and waited or some of the pain to subside before she pushed herself up. Looking around, she noticed that the shrine she was at was empty. It usually was at this time. 6pm didn't bring as many visitors to her family's shrine and as such was the perfect time to train without onlookers. If she really wanted nobody to look, she trained in the mountains.
She stood up with some effort since she had been going at her training since 10am this morning in the back gardens before moving up to the main courtyards around 4pm when the crowds died down. She wore her black sports bra with her grey sweat pants. She was barefoot since she liked to train as such to get her used to it should it happen. Her hero suit had boots, but she needed to train in all environments. Walking slowly towards the main house, Tsubame grabbed her towel to wipe down her body. She looked in at the kitchen and noticed nobody was home. Strange, her parents should be home at least. The note on the fridge notified her shortly that her parents went out to dinner and that they would be back late. Since their daughter was almost 30, they felt she knew how to take care of herself and put nothing more on the note. Sighing, she decided to take a bath first before dinner to get the sweat off. The bath for the Takada household was rather large so it was where she liked to relax after a long day of exercising. Reaching the bathroom, she began her usual of getting washed up before soaking in the tub. She looked at her body and noticed a few scars here and there. Some she got while training when she was younger, the others were from when she was a full time pro-hero and not the part time one she is now along side being the Vice Headmaster. Her partner while being a pro-hero was Walter, her best friend, and while he usually dealt the most damage out of the two of them, she took the most damage. Her quirk was not something she loved about herself. In all honesty, it was something she felt she was cursed with, but lived with because she could not get rid of it. The curse was the price she paid for using it. Should she not keep herself in check and constantly keep up her energy levels, her body will eat itself and ultimately kill her in the end.
Tsubame's amber yellow eyes drifted towards her hands as she washed them. They were rough and not at all girly like the other girls she met. Her childhood made sure of that. Since her father wanted her to become a hero like her mother and him, he trained her ever since she was young and learned to walk and talk. The ways of the shinobi was passed onto her, and then her little brothers. She was trained to kill, trained to defend, and trained to infiltrate. In some sense, she would make a great villain were it not for the teachings of her father and mother, as well as her friends while at UA. It was the line she walked. Finally getting into the tub, she sank deep into the warm water and sighed. What would the world bring her next? She loved teaching and she loved being a pro-hero. Her students were the most important to her and she was always so excited to see them grow into the heroes that they were meant to be. Yes there were some that didn't stay on the beaten path, but she knew that anyone can be saved with enough effort. She wanted to see the future, see what the world would bring her. After all, she constantly reached forward just to test her limits. Who was going to hold her back?
Smiling to herself, she yawned and let her eyes drift closed until she fell asleep.
