Well, she had what she wanted to happen. She was going on an outing with someone from her class to get to know them better. It was one of the instructions one of her tutors had given her to try and fit in better at the school. This particular tutor was the odd one out of the group. He was rather calm and laid back, but he was strict with his lessons. His lessons were another odd thing to Teresa; they were not written or required grades, they simply were to be done when her tutor assigned them and done when she felt comfortable to do so. What an odd man he was. Perhaps my father put him up to try and socialize me a bit for society of this type. The heroes always seem to be friendly and people-friendly. It was only her guess that she could logically come across. He was truly a strange man. He was taken on by her family only in the recent years, about a year or so ago, and has since been a pain in Teresa's side for how useless his lessons always seemed to be to her. Little did she know, though, that he was positioned where he was to try and give Teresa more experience within the world and open her up a bit more to those around her. While her father did not want to go too far, the tutor seemed to want to see just how far he could push Teresa. Which is where she is now. He had came up to her personally at one of her 'family' visits to give her a folder with several assignments in it. They were all written in big bold letters and fairly simple. When she looked up to ask him what the meaning of this was, he simply laughed at her fondly while ruffling her hair and walking off towards the Collins' family car. How strange indeed.
She had dressed up in her usual casual dress; the usual sort of dresses she normally wears. Today she wore her slightly above knee length blue and white dress that looked to be a sort of uniform with a black tie going down her front with large buttons on the sites. Her sleeves were long with large openings at the end. She wore black shorts under it for ease of movement should the need arise and wore knee length black boots with laces up. In front of her was clutched her usual teddy bear filled with her leather gloves, heart medication, and a basic first aide kit just in case. It usually held her bo-staff and goggles, but this wasn't a mission and she didn't think she'd need them just to go out and about. Besides, if she needed it she had other skills and her strength to rely on. Her hair was left down with no ribbon to tie it up away from her face. Since there was no fight, there was no need for it to stay up. She looked down at her bear with some form of unease, though she did not know why she would feel as such. Logic stated that this was simply an outing with a classmate to discuss quirks and possibly new fighting strategies. The little note on the bottom of the instructions for today were a little disconcerting to her, though. How am I supposed to get to know my classmate if I cannot talk about school? The annoyance was starting to come through her usual calm demeanor at the thought of not having much to talk about with Ryu other than school.
"That man is so odd...." Teresa muttered in English as she stood outside of the gates to the school. She held herself in her usual fashion with perfect poise and an eerily calm air about her. Outside of her family, her calm and doll-like actions and appearance tended to be thought just part of her since birth, but that was not true. Due to her father's cold and distant demeanor with her, she sought to be like him to get closer to him. It worked for a time, but in the end it just distanced herself farther from him and then others around her. Soon after she truly let go of her emotions, she felt empty and thought she couldn't go back to how she once used to be. However, she never tried to and soon just accepted her fate among the Collins' family and thought she merely a tool. In some sense, she could be seen as just staring into space as she thought about things from her past. Why she wanted to be like she is now, her reasons for acting like a tool for her father, and her experiences thus far at UA were some of the more prominent ones. "I do hope i'm not late." She said quietly in English before looking at her phone for messages and the time.

| Ryus day had been a rather odd one. Well, odd for him, he supposed. Another student, Teresa Collins, had asked him out for dinner. Whether it was a date or just to get to know him he hadn't really bothered to ask. But he supposed it wouldn't hurt to ask her when she showed up. He had said yes partially because he wanted to get to know another member of his class, and partially because he thought she was attractive. Blonde hair and blue eyes. What wasn't to like? Sure she came off as a bit cold, but she couldn't be all that bad. They had agreed to meet outside of the school gates before heading off to a barbecue place just a few blocks away. And as he walked out the gates, sliding his phone from his hand into his pocket, he smiled as he spotted her waiting for him. She looked almost like she was contemplating something, but he figured it would be best not to pry. [break][break]
"Yo, Teresa-chan!" Ryu spoke, smiling as he approached her. She her hair let down, and she was holding that bear she always seemed to have. He approached her, his warm smile spread across his face as his crimson eyes looked her up and down. She had her hair let down. He rather liked it. It made her look, in his opinion, a bit older and more intelligent. "I hope you're as hungry as I am." He joked. "You ready?" He wasn't getting straight to the point. After all he'd rather get going and start eating. He was getting pretty hungry. It took a lot of calories to power his quirk, especially when he grew three times his size when he transformed.

The swirling of her thoughts was interrupted by the foot falls of an approaching figure. She stood prim and proper as she had been taught to for most of her life, making herself seem almost like a living doll with how expressionless she was usually. The thoughts from before wavered slightly, but after a gentle push from Teresa, they left without a trace and she bowed politely to her fellow classmate. "It is lovely to see you again, Ryu-san," She wasn't sure of his last name, so she figured that if she just used the more polite honorific with his first name she wouldn't offend him. Besides, he already called her by name as it was so it was okay to call him by name as well? Either way, what was done is done and she would have to re-think her social politeness in Japan later tonight. Her hands clutched tightly at her teddy bear; her unsure over this 'lesson' her tutor had given her to become better at. Was forming bonds really part of being a hero? Her father never spoke of forming bonds, at least none of the sort that would be like this. There was business relationships and there was chess-piece relationships. Both of the sort would be useful in moving forwards towards the future. She did not know the other types of bonds that her odd tutor spoke of towards her.
At his mention of being hungry, Teresa did remember she forgot to eat breakfast this morning due to oversleeping from staying up late for her schoolwork. She had taken her usual nightly walk and ended up wandering around UA longer than usual. It was such a big place that she didn't think she would ever get back to her room in time. Her stomach growled loudly with it's displeasure over how empty it was. Sighing, the young woman moved a hand over it as if to quiet it down. "Um...yes, I am quite hungry. I forgot to eat breakfast this morning." Her voice was calm and almost quiet. It almost seemed slightly embarrassed with how it sounded, but the emotionless tone took over in the end. She wasn't always like this, but this is how she learned to live her life in order to not be left behind or abandoned by her father. He wanted a tool and a pawn on his game board. If that meant being around the only family she has, then so be it. Teresa had nodded to him when he asked if she was ready. Turning slightly, she started to walk towards where there destination had been planned for. "Thank you for accepting my invitation for an outing, Ryu-san. I hope to get to know my classmates better. I am not good at socializing, but I hope to do better while at UA." None of it was a lie, since she was ordered to never lie by her father, and so tried to express her thanks at his acceptance. It wasn't working, but she figured she would learn in time.

| Ryu kept his warm smile on his face as Teresa politely bowed to him, thanking him for inviting her on this trip. He waved a hand and dismissed the thanks casually. "No need to thank me. I was getting hungry anyway." Though at the mention of her skipping breakfast he quirked a brow. "You'll not want to do that again. UA is tough, you need your energy." Especially with her quirk. He knew her quirk gave her heart troubles in the same way that pushing his own quirk could land him in a hospital. But there was no need to discuss that at the moment. [break][break]
She mentioned she was bad at socializing, but he didn't think she was. A little odd, maybe. But she had accepted his offer, right? Someone who was introverted probably would've made up some excuse to not come. He shrugged. "I don't think so. A bit formal, maybe. But you still talk to us about personal stuff, right?" He had made note of her talks in the student chat. Like how her father wasn't around much. It made Ryu think of his own, and how much he... surprisingly didn't miss him. The memories of those years were faint. He couldn't even remember his dads face without looking at photos. [break][break]
His stomach growled again, and the faintest blush came to his cheeks out of embarrassment. "Oh, we should probably get going. I'm starved!" He wondered if she had ever eaten at a proper restaurant before. Especially a place where one cooks their own food over a stove in front of them. From what Ryu understood of Teresa her father owned a very wealthy company. It wouldn't surprise him if she had her own personal cook for her meals and never had to go out. He'd begin walking, turning his head back to make sure she was following him. His crimson eyes looked her up and down... she looked different. Her hair was longer. He liked it.[break][break]
But now wasn't the time for compliments. They'd only just met, after all! Right now his mind was on eating. Juicy barbecue... his mouth was salivating at the thought. [break][break]

At him telling her not to miss breakfast again since it would hurt her, she looked down with her hands still clasped in front of her with her teddy bear in them. She knew not to, but with how things were going lately, she could not help but miss it due to her own negligence. Either way, it was passed now and they were on their way to get some lunch. It seemed to be easy to talk to Ryu. He did not try to talk about her father or try to tell tell her long speeches about how it's not right that she is treated the way she is or how weird it is that she doesn't emote like a normal person. In any case, she felt at ease around him despite them only meeting fully like this just now. Her conversations on the chat were easier, but harder at the same time. They were easier in the fact that she didn't have to face anyone in person and felt at ease talking about herself more. However, the other side of that was that she did not get proper introductions to those she was talking to or get to know them outside of the computer. Either way, today was different since she was finally meeting one of her classmates outside of the computer and the classroom. Aside from Daiki that is. Her eyes lowered slightly when he said she wasn't so bad at socializing, just a bit formal. She didn't react with her face to that, but her grip on her teddy bear tightened. She wasn't sure if that still was a good thing or not. Perhaps her tutor was not so wrong after all.
"Thank you, I'm....still unsure about some things." It was the truth. Feelings, bonds, how things are done; they all are new to her, but she was determined to do as her tutor instructed her to and see how things go. Perhaps they won't be so bad. Once they were setting off, Teresa had kept up with him as they walked. She hadn't been to many restaurants within the country, but she had been to plenty back in England. The visits to them were mostly for business meetings with her father's clients or prospective business partners rather than father/daughter outings. When it came to normal dinners within the Collins house, Teresa tended to eat alone at the long table within the dining room and ended with her evening tea up in her rooms. That was normal for her and she didn't find anything wrong with it if it was what her father wanted. She was sure he would stay by her side if she continued to do as he told her to. Her mother died so all she had left was her father and those associated with their company. Teresa walked with Ryu and kept to small talk while walking to the restaurant.
~~~~TIME SKIP~~~~~~~
The walk to the restaurant was not long. Her stomach did not get the better of her and growl loudly, but she was still hungry regardless. It would seem the place they were meant to go was a barbecue type of place. While she was not used to such type of food, she was willing to try new things. Her life in Japan would need to be filled with new things since her life in England had been quite plain and empty. She looked Ryu over carefully. While he was pretty handsome, she wondered why he had accepted her invitation to an outing to begin with. She didn't really talk in class nor did she try to go out of her way to make friends. It was only recently that she had really interacted with her classmates in a lesson with two teachers and then a mission with Daiki and Ren. Other than that, she wasn't sure how to initiate conversation between them. The front door to the place was in front of her. She reached for the door silently, but then turned back to Ryu. "Perhaps you should lead since you know this place? I have never had this type of food before." Once they were walking in, she looked around in her curiosity. "Do you like to come here often?"
