An attractive and tall woman with a light complexion, Ashley Martin has blonde hair of mid-back length that tends to be somewhat messy, though more often than not she will wear it in a simple tail at the back of her head. Parting her hair from the left side of her head and leaving some or all of her right eye often hidden by her long bangs, the locks of this lady are a little on the wavy side and curl up at the tips, and long enough to reach the upper part of her back.
Large eyed, Miss Martin has bright blue irises that look like sapphires, and her overall facial structure is slender and refined. Sporting lips that are naturally rosy even without being coloured, this blonde bombshell has a noticeable pout that only seems to add to an overall sense of mature appeal, looking more like a woman than a girl and a little older than her age. Suffering from myopia, while she tends to habitually wear contact lenses, there are times when she is at home or feeling a casual vibe that Ashley tends to prefer the comfort and ease of a pair of spectacles. Fair in terms of her complexion, Ashley has Scandinavian ancestry which is reflected in her light skin and soft features, though certainly is not pale as she well appreciates the value of getting one’s vitamin D from the sun.
The style of clothing that Ashley prefers tending to be on the smart but feminine side of the spectrum, she likes blouses and sweaters, though often chooses things that are short or sleeveless so they are functional. Generally more of a fan of a dress or skirt, she tends to like to highlight her legs more than her bust with the way she dresses and prefers simple displays of elegant jewellery with a quality over quantity approach, enjoying pearls, diamonds and sapphires as her favourite gems. A fan of sweaters and turtlenecks, when relaxing at home she will often wear just this and some jeans or shorts as she lets her hair down and wears her glasses, perhaps never looking ‘geekier’ than when she is like this.

RUMOR/SECRET: | Rumours say she returned to Japan as a result of a bad breakup with an American Hero. |
A woman with a good heart but something of a competitive and at times attention seeking streak, Ashley is the kind of girl who likes to stand up for what she believes in, and get seen doing it. Assertive and very independent, she isn’t a very big fan of boundaries and limits and can sometimes become restless and agitated when these are forced upon her, though she does not define herself by a rebellious streak. Outspoken and social, her confidence and good looks mean that Miss Martin is rarely daunted by people though possesses a hint of claustrophobia, and feels uncomfortable if she is ‘trapped’ in situations like dense crowds or tight spaces for long periods.
An ambitious and at times competitive woman, while these tendencies have been tempered with her age, Miss Martin can still show a rather driven and aggressive character at times, and is the sort who hates to feel outshined by another. Definitely having a sense of right or wrong but this sometimes overshadowed by her desire to define and express herself, Ashley shows a strong sense of assertiveness and craving for fulfilment that sometimes making her seem a little bit self-absorbed and bossy. However, it should be noted she is diligent and thoughtful in her way, and would be horrified and enraged by malicious and cruel actions.
Somewhat hot spirited, as one might expect from a girl who commands the force of fire, though Ashley is on the whole a warm and upbeat person she can show something of a temper if provoked and can at times be rather brash and reckless as well. These traits something that have become less easily observed as she has matured but still making up her core character, both for good and bad there are times she can be quite the spicy chica, and this is perhaps most readily observed with her competitive spirit.
This inner fire she possesses making her somewhat cocky at times and happy to flaunt herself, not only is Miss Martin warm and welcoming to others, but also somewhat heated in terms of her passions as well. Maturing into a girl who is quite comfortable with herself and happy to flirt with any and all she finds interesting, sometimes she can be something of a tease to people, and hates when folk can’t appreciate the fact that a cheeky line or lingering stare is merely that and not an invitation for more.
Sometimes coming off as impulsive and even promiscuous because of these qualities, Ashley seems to take after her father in regard to intimacy and can be something of a heartbreaker since she tends to seek fun and flirtation more than romance, and she can tend to find that her fondness for people can ebb quickly when that initial ‘fire’ between them dies down. Certainly not going out of her way to hurt people, but possibly having some issues with commitment, this fiery femme’s desire not to feel ‘tied down’ seems to make her struggle with maintaining long term relationships.
Perhaps a surprising fact about Miss Martin the fact that she is far more of a ‘geek’ deep down than she may seem at first glance, while her passions have waned a little into adulthood Ashley has maintained a subtle interest in things like anime and comic books, and in many ways her approach to heroism has been shaped by these influences. Styling her persona as a hero on epic characters from these forms fiction, the determination and morality that she shows is as much inspired by this love than any real life role model, and in a way this inspires much of her idealism.
As happy and excited to get her hands on a cosplay or piece of memorabilia of an animated series Ashley loves as she would be a nice piece of jewellery or pretty dress, in her free time she would rather read or watch things others might consider ‘childish’ over classic works of literature or screen. Something of a workout junkie thanks to her role but preferring to listen to theme songs and instrumentals from her favourite works than more mainstream options, though she might blush a little if an attractive stranger noted her youthful tastes it is the sort of thing that she would expect a friend or lover to tolerate and indulge them, and would make no effort to hide her interests. The inherently playful and outgoing sides to her character also seeming to combine well with her fondness for pop culture, Ashley does enjoy cosplaying in get ups that are iconic and risqué, and takes a pride in the fact that her looks and build means she can achieve eye catching results.
Something of a thrill seeker at times, Ashley’s competitiveness and desire to challenge herself can make her seem something of an adrenaline junkie, as she loves amusement parts and fast vehicles as well. Very adventurous and happy to indulge her curiosity, she can be a jet setter and go getter and enjoys travelling to new places and seeking out new people and situations, and often spends her vacation time travelling to other lands to enjoy herself. Wholly independent and highly self-confident, Miss Martin is happy to go out and do her own thing and seems to have some distaste for ‘sheep’ mentalities.
Deeper than she might seem at first glance, despite her flirty and fashionable tastes, Ashley tends to appreciate some simple pleasures that might surprise one. A fan of a nice view and much preferring to look at a starry sky, falling snow or a sunset over a television or some other form of media, and often exploits her quirk to seek out a roof or high place she can do so. This perhaps her ideal ‘date’, she would love taking in some lovely scenery with a picnic besides her much more than going to a fancy restaurant or show, though one supposes for true perfection they could take the food of the former with them into this ideal setting.

Perhaps the beginning of Ashley Martin’s life something of sign for how her young life would turn out, there was no great love that led to the girl’s conception, but rather it was more of an accident. The romance that led to her birth seeming to be largely fleeting, while there was plenty of passion between Hank Martin and Trish Sheridan at first, it was unfortunately the sort that would dwindle quickly as life became more complicated.
The father of the fair femme a commercial pilot who was quite used to exploiting his position to have a little consensual fun with stewardesses and pretty girls who caught his eye, while he was a good ten years older than Ashley’s mother something seemed to spark between them, and they entered into an enduring love affair. Things not much better for her mother Trish, who was already in a relationship when she was picked up by Hank in a bar, the connection seemed to yield a lot of fire which at first was a good thing, but ultimately proved to be fatal.
Their union resulting in a pregnancy neither of which planned for, while they tried to make a proper ‘go’ of things by getting married, any love between them was not enough last a lifetime and in time their relationship would sour, and end in divorce. However, at first things were relatively peaceful.
Early life somewhat idyllic, or as much as it can be when one’s father works in a life-threatening career, the future hero enjoyed trips to the shops and lush Californian beaches when she was younger, and was a somewhat adventurous and active girl. Miss Martin’s quirk manifesting when she was not much more than two years old, one day her mother came into the nursery and was quite panicked to see her girl with what looked like her hands on fire, she was relieved to find the girl unharmed and rather astounded by what she had done. Initially this leading to a few risky moments and a fire extinguisher on standby when she got overexcited, Ashley demonstrating a quick handle on her powers, by four she could regulate her quirk perfectly and when she entered school even liked to show it off for her friends when she could.
Ashley a confident and somewhat precocious child, she took after her hot-spirited and strong willed mother more heavily, though also maintained her father’s self-confidence and composure under pressure as well. Showing off a bit by creating showers of sparks and popping cracks, though she would often get detention from her teachers for using her abilities the girl did not care; she simply loved the attention, but there was probably a big reason for that.
The relationship between Hank and Trish becoming increasingly strained even through the short number of years she was a toddler, neither seemed particularly satisfied with their relationship. The father of the family the kind who had a natural wanderlust, the fact that he spent so much time away from home with work did not help to reassure the mother, who seemed to quickly and correctly guess he had resumed his old ways even after being married to her.
This suspicion only seeming to make her own feelings worse as well, while she loved her daughter whole heartedly, Trish couldn’t help but feel like she was the only one making sacrifices. An aspiring actress before settling down as a housewife, she felt like she had given up everything to bring Ashley up while Hank lived the high life at her expense, and this created a worsening sense of friction that led to the pair separating when the little girl was only three years old.
The duo divorcing quickly afterward and her mother naturally gaining custody of her, while at first Ashley herself did not notice much a difference in her life since she had never been used to her father being a big part of it, one might observe that these facts ultimately left her feeling a little bit unfulfilled in her home life, and this only got worse when her mother remarried a few years later. Trish certainly not looking to side-line her daughter, unfortunately the fact that she got a ‘new family’ to contend with seemed to only enhance her desire for attention, and perhaps also imparted a sense of distance between her and her mother that endures to this day and is likely why Ashley is such a fierce advocate of her own independence to this day.
Hank, for his part, seeming to prove the parent that his daughter seemed to ultimately grow closer to, despite his womanizing habits and work the man seemed to truly cherish the little life he had created, and made as much time for her as he was able. Feeling much more connected to ‘The Martin’ on an emotional level, even though Ashley saw her mother with a far higher degree of frequency, it was her father she bonded with more. Daddy seeming to indulge her need for attention more, and make her feel far more special and important, though there was nothing particularly unhappy about the everyday life of the girl she looked forward to her meetings with her papa and tended to count the days between them.
Perhaps one of the biggest factors in establishing this joyful connection the occupation of her dad, not only were people impressed to hear that Ashley was the daughter of a big shot pilot, but it also came with plenty of perks as well. One of the earliest memories she has of her dad the two of them piloting a small plane ‘together’ as they flew along the Californian coast, Miss Martin has always loved the views from aircraft and high places because of these early memories.
This not all, practically every break that she took to visit her father seemed to involve taking a trip to other countries, the habit of jet-setting holidays they established first as a small holiday continued with the duo alone, and Ashley always felt like a princess when they did so. Hank always arranging for a first class seat for her, because of her father’s status all the staff of the plane seemed to know her, and she remembers all too well being spoiled and doted on by them. Feeling like the belle of the ball whenever she set foot on an aeroplane with dad, this always got their trips off to a great start and her adventurous and knowledgeable father always made sure to take her to places that she loved.
Gaining an especially strong affection for the distant land known as Japan even before she was ten years old, the energetic and festive nation felt to the little girl like ‘one big Disneyland’, with the girl loving the colour and feeling of excitement that seemed to suffuse the nation. Loving to watch the mascots, and the cosplay girls on the street who looked so beautiful, Ashley embraced the culture of the land whole-heartedly and it was soon her number one choice of visitation.
This fondness seeming to also affect her social circle as well, after spotting a few children thumbing their way through comic books and talking about cartoon series they enjoyed from the place, Ashley began to hang out with something of a geeky crowd at school. The group initially seeming to be a bit intimidated by the girl who liked to show off so much but her enthusiasm disarming them, she would borrow the translated books they read and began watching anime based on their recommendations, she would ask her father to pick her up treats from Akibahara whenever he visited Tokyo and amassed quite the collection of paraphernalia related to her interest. All of which she was happy to share with her new friends.
Perhaps the moment that would shape her life more than any other occurring when she was eleven years old, however, it would be a near-tragedy that would help Ashley make up her mind what she was going to do with her life. The day seeming to start like any other visit from her father, she remembers getting herself ready for him to fly in to LAX and come to pick her up, but then a sudden sense of panic when news hit that a malfunction had struck his plane and left it without power while over the pacific ocean.
The young girl remembering her sense of fear and dread as she watched the broadcast for hope of seeing her daddy come out of the incident alive, but things looking grim as all he could do was glide and hope that he could come down somewhere close to land, Ashley was desperate to save her father and even tried to set out into the sky with her quirk to do so, resulting in her being restrained by her mother. The impulse curbed however when breaking news reporting that the heroine ‘Concordia’ had flown out to help the craft, the little girl was astounded and immensely relieved to see the flight being carried to the Santa Monica bay the woman, where other heroes waited to help with the rescue effort.
Mesmerized by what she saw, how it looked like something from one of the anime that she watched, this was the first time that Ashley first gained a real sense for the importance and impact of heroes. The image of Concordia holding the plane up one that was reported around the world, and burned into the mind of Miss Martin, and she couldn’t help but admire and envy the woman who had saved her father’s life immensely. Even getting to meet her soon after as she went to the bay to greet her daddy, she remembers being mesmerized by this powerful woman to the point that she wanted to emulate her, and that is exactly what she did.
A little indecisive about her future up to this point, while so many children in this day and age seemed to wish to try their hand at becoming a hero, Ashley had been a little reluctant to do so. Certainly a show off who loved flaunting her quirk, while she was tempted by the idea the girl also loved the notion of being a jet setting pilot like her dad, but this incident helped to push the path of heroics into her eye line.
Becoming a little fangirl of Concordia as well, while the little lady had dabbled in the art of cosplay before for fun, it was this passion for the woman that decided this as one of her favourite hobbies. Attending a convention in full Concordia Cosplay that she had made herself with the help of her mother, and winning a prize for best Heroine cosplay while she was there, the attention she received for this only seemed to further her desire to bask in the spotlight. Some people intimidated by the action of getting up on stage, while Ashley was nervous as she stepped on stage to collect her award, she was also thrilled by the experience and only further encouraged to seek a purpose that allowed her to indulge this excitement further.
Announcing her desire to study to be a hero to her parents, while Trish was hesitant to let her daughter indulge in such a risky act, Hank was wholly supportive and encouraging of his little girl following her dreams. Seeming to remember what he was like when he was just a kid who wanted to get his ‘wings’, though their choice of career was pretty different he respected her ambition, and always offered her reassurance and understanding in what she wanted to do.
It actually this understanding and support that helped Ashley decide to study overseas at UA high school, though there were many options within the US for hero training, he mentioned the idea of doing so after learning just how many of the highest regarded heroes active in the world seemed to have trained there. The girl herself loving the idea, partly because of her fondness for Japanese pop culture, she agreed and when she was old enough travelled with her father to take part in the entrance exams.
Managing to pass her exam to enter the prestigious academy that churned out popular figures like the Crimson Cape, Diamond Queen, Titania, and Thunder Monkey, while it was scary to think she would be going to high school in another land, once again her father came through for her in that regard. The man moving to Musutafu and working out of there as his home so as to be there for his daughter, he eased his shifts so he could be around a bit more, and even went so far as to teach her the Japanese he had learned throughout his career to help her out in the new land.
This perhaps the first task that she had to complete toward her study at UA, though it was a little daunting to develop conversational skills and she ultimately needed tuition beyond the simple phrases her father knew, with persistence and patience Ashley showed she could pick up the language readily enough. Seeming to have absorbed plenty of Japanese through watching subtitled anime and looking up some of the names and phrases used in them, while she was rather rough around the edges the girl was able to just about keep up with her peers by the time that she started classes and only improved from there. However, very few things at UA were easily gained, ultimately.
The gruelling course inspiring her love of exercise and personal improvement, though her quirk was plenty potent in its own right, education at this school helped to make her become a more ‘rounded’ individual. Frustrated initially when she found that despite the potency of her quirk she could be outmanoeuvred and bested by those with powers that seemed ‘weaker’ than her own, largely due to the short time limit on her abilities. Working both on extending that limit but also giving herself options for combat beyond the direct application of her quirk, Ashley worked to improve her overall level of athletic ability and also joined some clubs and classes on campus aimed at teaching Martial Arts skills so as to leave her less reliant on her pure force in hostile situations.
Still afforded plenty of personal freedom even because of her father’s job, when not in school or studying, the girl indulged her love of anime and travelled regularly to the neighbouring capital city Tokyo thanks to her proximity to spend her allowance. Also seeming to blossom more and more as a woman because of her new environment, the noticeable differences she possessed as an American girl studying abroad brought her plenty of attention, and she began to embrace more of her femininity as a result. The people of Japan seeming to show such a strong sense of style and place personal image very highly, while she was still a big geek to the core Ashley began to show more of this herself, and developed a love for indulging her tastes and fashion desires all the more because of it.
Not everything smooth sailing however, though she failed her first end of term exam due to her rusty skills in Japanese, this only seemed to encourage her to adapt and overcome the obstacles she faced. Effectively offering up an education ‘exchange’ with her classmates to get her more up to speed in this shortcoming, she happily offered up her inherent English skill to help others with their studies, and everyone was helped all around. In many ways this act seeming to break any ‘ice’ between herself and her classmates that might have lingered due to obstacles of language and culture. Trust and friendship with her fellow students something that helped to bring out the ‘team player’ in the show off girl from the United States, though she still relished the spotlight in exercises, Ashley steadily learned to recognise her own shortcomings and while she worked hard to overcome them as an individual, she also learned that cooperation was key in the problems they would face.
Life at school rather interesting for her because of her ‘alien’ status as well, the stories that she had of America steadily made her popular among her fellow girls who seemed to relish the idea of visiting the country for themselves, while her exotic appearance also seemed to make her a prime target for crushes. Having to turn down quite a few boys but finding her ego boosted all the same, Ashley did not reject all the people who made advances upon her, though most forms of attraction she experienced were rather fleeting for the most part. Dating guys and gals for a time but the pressures of one of the world’s best hero courses making it hard for her to prioritise romance, all these puppy love escapades seemed to end quickly, though the girl was glad when they did so amicably as well.
The focus the femme showed on her hero studies steadily paying dividends, through hard work and no shortage of determination the girl steadily began to force her way through the trials of hero work. Managing to acquire her provisional hero license and work as an intern under the advisement of Afterburner, she began to flourish in live experience and prove an asset in both battle and rescue scenarios. The sheer intensity of what she had to go through meaning that much of her course felt like a blur, as if she was being carried along a raging torrent, despite how challenging it was she finally faced her full licensing exam and managed to pass it as well.
Graduating UA as a young woman who had been polished by her experience there, when she passed and got her license Ashley found herself inundated with offers from pro’s to join their team, both in Japan and overseas. Afterburner included in this, she spent a full year working with the woman as a sidekick but all too quickly both realized that ‘Super Nova’ was not the sort to spend her life working in the shadow of another, and parted company on good terms as the girl set out to make a name for herself.
This what she has spent the subsequent years doing, while initially it was hard creating and running her own office as a hero, steadily things got a little easier for her. Certainly the good looks and confident attitude she possessed an asset with this, after getting her face in the media a few times, steadily the girl began to accrue deals of sponsorship that helped her to better afford her position.
Doing modelling work for billboards and magazines and even appearing in a few TV ads, Ashley’s natural fondness for the camera largely proved an asset for her, and all too quickly she found herself catching the eye of a hero team back in her native California. The Thunderbolts showing interest in her and offering her the chance to move back to her roots to join them as an equal rather than a sidekick, Super Nova found herself returning to her homeland and her life busier than ever as she did so.
Working as a pro hero in Los Angeles seeming like a whole new challenge compared to Japan, it was like learning another language once more as Ashley needed to figure out the new challenges she would face in this new environment. Adapting herself with time both as an individual and a member of The Thunderbolts, though she was primarily focused as a combat specialist due to her quirk the wilder landscape of the western coast of America forced her to improve her skills as a rescue operative, especially after downtown LA was rocked by an tremendous Earthquake on her watch.
Never facing a bigger challenge than when she was battling her way through debris to find and rescue survivors, it felt like the incident went on for days as she fought to help people who were trapped or in danger, and faced a particularly personal challenge when she ended up getting stuck in the Metro during a cave in. Never having felt like she was in more peril than this moment, though she managed to escape the situation and bring a cadre of scared civilians with her, the experience left her with a new respect for those who faced challenges like this as a course of their hero life.
Not everything about her new life about battle and disasters, however, in her down time Ashley continued to indulge the habits she had developed as a little girl with her daddy. Jet setting around the world, sometimes with her papa in tow, the girl would visit foreign lands and enjoy new and exciting challenges. A frequent visitor to her beloved Japan, of course, and keeping in touch with her mentors and classmates of her own, by the time she had reached the mid-point of her twenties the girl found herself compelled to return to the land that had tempted and trained her.
Missing the culture she so loved immensely, but more-so feeling she had plenty to offer with her experience now, Ashley has opted to ‘rebirth’ Super Nova in the land of the rising sun and try her hand at establishing her own full hero office there once again. Part of her motivation for this the ‘state’ of heroics in the country, while it is true that the majority of applicants for hero programs tend to be males, she hopes to offer a strong female force for ‘the sisterhood’ to aspire toward. Also not forgetting how as a student she longed to see her own name on the Hero Billboard Chart top ten, though she knows she might be in for quite the hard challenge in achieving this she aims to dream big, like her father always encouraged her to…

Also not forgetting how as a student she longed to see her own name on the Hero Billboard Chart top ten, though she knows she might be in for quite the hard challenge in achieving this she aims to dream big, like her father always encouraged her to…
THE ARMORY
Hero Suit Pic
A highly durable combat suit, it is made primarily of Kevlar and is there to help better protect her body from blades and bullets whilst not compromising her mobility, being able to offer protection from your average steel knife or sword. The corset-like torso portion features ballistic gel padding and carbon fibre ribbing to absorb the force of handgun fire non-lethally, though it is still highly painful to endure and can leave her bruised all the same, and is less effective on more potent forms of firearm like rifles. Designed to disperse the heat her quirk generates more quickly, wearing this will allow her to use her quirk for 1 extra post.
Visor
Carrying a special tinted visor made from a tough material that responds quickly to light levels, this protects her vision from the brightness her quirk gives off much like a welder’s mask to enable her full quirk use, and is actually built with her prescription in mind so she doesn’t need to wear glasses/contact lenses with it. Constructed to cover her ears as well, Super Nova’s radio and communication devises are built into this as well, making it quite the useful piece of equipment.
Cape
Ashley’s cape detachable by pressing the star emblem on her costume like a seatbelt clip, it is made of a Kevlar mix to make it durable and highly heat resistant, making an ideal fire blanket for herself or others to use.
Shockers - Super Gadget
Carrying a specially enhanced set of gloves designed to worth with her quirk, while their appearance is subtle aside from chunky wrist sections, they allow her to exploit the heat her quirk to charge thermoelectric coils within the wrists of her gloves, allowing her to attack with physical strikes that carry the same force as a police stun gun. Sacrificing capacity for compactness, for every post she uses her quirk with her hands Super Nova gains a ‘charge’ to deliver these shocking strikes, up to a maximum of 5 per glove.
Utility Belt
-Torch
-First Aid Kit – Simple with antiseptic & pain relief sprays as well as dressings.
-Backup Radio
-Spare Glasses – Sports Glasses in case her visor is broken/lost, with similar light-reactive properties.
-Respirator – Standard issue breathing apparatus for challenging environments.
-Compact Multitool – An all-in-one similar to a pen knife with features like pliers/wire cutters, screwdrivers, small knives, scissors and saws.

QUIRK & SKILLS
PYROTECHNIC
TYPE: Emitter
RANK/LEVEL: A-
SUMMARY:
Able to forcefully generate a sparks and other pyrotechnic effects from her body in a manner reminiscent of a firework, Ashley can use these offensively if she chooses, but has also learned to exploit this skill for the purpose of movement, and entertainment.
Any and every part of her body capable of being wreathed in hot plasma, even by simply activating her quirk she can enhance her battle ability simply by adding vibrant and violent force to all her strikes and moves, but is capable of so much more. Having the ability to make these projections incredibly bright like flashbangs, she can dazzle and daze her attacks inherently, but also use them more directly.
Capable of projecting her sparks at distance, with incredible force, Ashley can create basketball-sized projectiles of hot plasma that can hit targets up to 100 meters away which enough ‘punch’ behind them to break stone and steel alike thanks to heat and force she gives off with them. Even capable of concentrating her plasma into simple constructs by ‘charging’ these projectiles up in her hands for a few seconds, she can these fire off, but they explode into 10m blasts of hot flames like grenades.
Able to use her quirk to generate sustained torrents of sparks with the force of hurricane force winds that can last for several seconds but no longer than a post, these can be focused trails about 1 meters wide with about a 30 meter range, or she can sacrifice range for breadth to spread them in a cone-like manner up to 5 meters wide but only for about 10 meters distance. Also capable of forming the sparks she gives off into simple shapes, Miss Martin can create focused red hot blades of up to 1 Meter length to cut through hardy materials like a blowtorch, or simply lash out with them in combat.
Not everything that Ashley can do with her quirk wholly offensive, however, she can use the red hot force that she projects more like one might associate with a jet engine. Capable of using this to allow her to fly and move along surfaces at incredible speeds, Miss Daniel’s can hit paces of about 60mph by using her skills in this way to propel herself around like a human rocket for about 3 posts at a time at maximum speed, reaching heights of about 500 Meters by doing so.
Practicing her powers to a high degree, Ashley has learned to not only shape them as she sees fit but also shows dominance over other aspects of her flames to high degrees, such as their temperature. Capable of greatly enhancing their temperature to reach temperatures of 1500°C, she has learned to the opposite and ‘cool’ her creations right off to room temperature, allowing her to generate fun little indoor fireworks and effects with all the excitement of a display, and none of the danger.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
As one would expect, water is the great weakness of her quirk. Readily dousing and destroying her creations, good old H2O can nullify Ashley’s attacks and overwhelm her quickly, putting her at a noticeable disadvantage. Her quirk also does not function in any body part that is soaking wet or submerged, with her body usually taking about 1 post to dry off sufficiently when this happens.
Ashley’s body having a naturally high tolerance to heat because of her quirk, even with this the girl gets overwhelmed by the sheer temperature her abilities give off when she uses her maximum power, being able to only use them at their fullest potential for around 5 posts before needing give herself a break to cool off or risk the complications of heat stroke. She can, however, ‘bypass’ this break by actively cooling herself as she uses her powers, such as being ‘iced off’ by a requisite cold ability by a teammate, or can submerge herself in liquid, but that would be pertinent to the previous weakness.
The dazzling effect of her quirk indiscriminate, without equipment to guard her eyesight like tinted glasses or goggles she will begin to become dazzled by her quirk if she uses it for more than 3 posts, showing effects similar to snow blindness that take an equal period of inactivity to recede.
Though it might be discomforting for the person involved, Ashley can carry another person as she flies but this greatly hampers both her abilities as a whole since she can only activate them in a manner that wouldn’t burn the other party, and limits her top speed to about 30mph.
Much of the potential for this quirk located in Ashley’s ability to focus and shape her attacks with her hands, if these are restrained her abilities will naturally suffer.
The hot force of her quirk something that is risky for her wardrobe, Ashley can accidentally burn her ‘normal’ clothing away through use of her quirk.

Sanshou
RANK/LEVEL: B
SUMMARY:
Recognising her need to be less reliant on her quirk for sustained battles and to better direct her power when she uses it, Ashley has honed her skills in hand to hand combat abilities through the techniques of Sanshou, a Chinese martial art based in Kung Fu but with a modern twist.
Hot Shot
RANK/LEVEL: B
SUMMARY:
Practicing her aim to better use her quirk at long distances, Ashley has the marksmanship skills of a trained soldier or law enforcement officer, and even though she doesn’t carry one as part of her job is a good shot with firearms.
Conditioning
RANK/LEVEL: B+
SUMMARY:
Aerobic ability essential for a pro hero but Ashley really needing it for her flight abilities, she has honed her all round athletic ability partly in an effort to help her better cope with altitude, and in terms of lung capacity and overall fitness demonstrates a high level of overall stamina and endurance that would allow her to comfortably completely an endurance event like a triathlon.
Parkour
RANK/LEVEL: C+
SUMMARY:
Finding parkour quite useful in her career as a hero, Ashley has honed her skills in balance and agility so that she can cross challenging surfaces with ease, likely rivalling your average rooftop rambler in her ability to scramble across urban landscapes with speed and efficiency.
Composure
RANK/LEVEL: B
SUMMARY:
Confident in front of a camera and used to giving interviews due to her experience, Ashley the kind of has poise and assurance one might expect from a news anchor, and could flourish in public performance.
Japanese
RANK/LEVEL: B-
SUMMARY:
American by birth, thanks to going to high school in Japan Ashley is fluent in Japanese in addition to English, though regards herself a little bit ‘rusty’ due to spending the past few years in the USA.
