The ninja priest was next to a little, four foot six, white haired kid who was playing a handheld game. The kid was light brown in skin tone, with yellow eyes, wearing a red T-shirt, jean shorts, headphones that hid his longer, pointed ears, and black boots. He also had a back pack on him, a dufflebag next to him, and a huge suitcase behind him. When he had brought all three of those down from his previous room, the priest was amazed and shocked that the kid had so much stuff. Even if most of it was video games or video game related. Some of it was stuff from training with them, and extra clothes...more clothes than he thought the boy had. Either way, they made their way towards the house after being dropped off. The priest was more than happy that an old friend of his decided to adopt the child. Kaito could use her, and the company she held. Not for fame or fortune...but to open his heart a bit more. The priest already knew the kid was a good kid, but he was distant, cynical, and liked to tease a bit too much. Hopefully something would change with company as Tsubame Takada.
When the door opened, Kaito barely gave the woman a look. Quietly, he walked passed her and stopped at the entrance. Supposedly, the woman was a teacher at UA High. And her home was only fifteen minutes from the place. Close by and convenient for her. He would have to travel a little bit for school, since he was still a middle school student, though it wouldn't be long before he had to choose his path in life. Putting his game on pause while the fun ninja priest exchanged pleasantries with Tsubame Takada, he looked back at them. "Hey, where is my new room?" He was a little rude, but he was tired. Between a train ride and a car ride, both of which lasted way too long for his tastes, he wanted a nap. Then he heard a meow. Snapping his head towards the source, he walked right up to the small black cat, and ducked down. Going crosslegged, he beckoned the small furry creature towards him. It did, and he was content to give the cat all the pets he could. He barely cracked a smile from hearing it purr.

SHE WAS NERVOUS! Not overly so, but the fact that she had just adopted a child at the request of an old friend made her more nervous than she had been when she was taking a test in her hero studies classes. Would she be a good mom? Her own mother and father exclaimed their own surprise and glee when Tsubame informed them of the newest addition to the family. Her brothers and their families were excited as well and soon helped Tsubame put together a room for Kaito. She hadn't known what would happen when he got here, but she knew that she had to make sure the home he walked into was warm and inviting. Due to her single life she had little to no possessions except for her library room and her office on the first floor. Her house was two floors with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was a bit big for just her, but she did like to have guests over and with Hideki coming over often, it didn't seem so small. The kitchen was one of the biggest rooms (a fact she loved) and was just off to the side of the living room. Kuro had noticed her pacing earlier and meowed incessantly until she was given pets, causing Tsubame to stop and stand still for a moment. She had tried to call Hideki and chat to calm herself down, but he hadn't picked up, causing the woman to pout for a good two minutes.
What snapped Tsubame out of her thoughts was the doorbell ringing. Quickly Tsubame made sure she looked presentable in her usual black capri pants and red blouse with a black long sleeved long sweater over it. Opening the door, she had smiled at her friend and looked down to see Kaito playing on his video game. Ah, kids, they love their games. Tsubame looked up to her friend bowing to her formally and thanking her for taking in Kaito. Tsubame seemed sheepish but ultimately bowed back a bit in return. "It's no problem at all, Sai-san, you helped my father many times and i'm glad to do you a favor. Besides, I think coming here will do him some good. You are welcome to visit if you want." Tsubame smiled as she looked back into the house.
"It is good to see you again, Tsubame-san. When they heard the news Mari-chan and Taka-kun came running over to get the details about Kaito-kun. I am happy that you agreed. Hopefully living with you will do him some good. You do remember what we discussed, right, Tsubame-san?" Sai looked a bit worried while he talked about the last detail and only looked relieved when Tsubame nodded and smiled at him in her usual grin.
"It'll be alright, Sai-san. I'm a professional when it comes to unruly kids. Otherwise my students would walk all over me." Tsubame seemed a bit sheepish about that last part, but ultimately she tried to keep the old priests worry to a minimum. It all came to an end when Sai excused himself and said goodbye to Kaito before he left.
Once the door closed, Tsubame heard Kaito ask where his room was. Grabbing his suitcases without problem, she lead him to the upstairs rooms. The walls were white and held many pictures of Tsubame, her family, and her many friends in both the hero and civilian world that she made. "Your room is going to be down the hall from mine, third door on the right. I'll show you. Let's go, Kuro." Kuro snapped her head up and meowed up at Kaito as if to say 'follow me human child' and lead the way to the bedroom. "My brothers and their kids, which would be your uncles and cousins now, helped make the room a bit better for you. I hope you like it." Tsubame smiled at Kaito gently and lead him on until she opened the room for him. It was painted a pale blue color and had a desk, a made up bed, and a tv with a console on it that was from one of Tsubame's nieces and nephews. There was a few games there but she wasn't sure which ones since she just left it up to her nieces and nephews. "Are you hungry? Would you like to have a tour of the house?"

After the pleasantries, Tsubame spoke to him and directed where his room was, but was going to show him anyways. He did get a name for the cat. Kuro. A little unoriginal, but cute nonetheless. The cat got up and meowed at him as if to say follow me. Kaito was amused to say the least. Animals were so much better than people. The animal followed his new "mom" and him shortly after, backpack on his back. She apparently decided to take his large suitcase and dufflebag. He wasn't going to complain. Looking around, the place had reminders of her family. Who were apparently excited that Tsubame took him in, so much so that they helped make his room. That made him a little bit worried.
The room was pale blue, almost like a swimming pool, and had a desk, a bed and a TV with the latest gaming console on it. The TV itself was mounted on the wall, and he saw wireless controllers on top of the console. There was also a dresser next to the TV, and a closet next to it. Maybe he was wrong to be so nervous. There was also a small lamp on the desk, to better see what he was working on. He nodded his approval more to himself than anything. "I'm fine. A tour of the house would be nice." Walking over to the desk, he put his game on it along with his backpack and his headphones. No need trying to hid his ears here. Sai likely already told her about him and his quirk anyways. Overall, this doesn't seem like a bad place to live in. So long as she doesn't get sick of him...but then again, wasn't she the vice headmaster at the most prestigious hero academy in the country, perhaps the world? Even if it was a little different that she'll be seeing him more often than just a few years...
