Jun pouted a little bit, but shrugged. It was a pity, but you like what you like and he wasn't going to pursue any further. After all, he hated overly flirtatious people, and he wasn't going to be that guy. The blond had to move his laptop to make room for everyone, which still displayed the 3D dragon he was working on. Fu talked about her quirk, and Ren and Daiki gave their evaluation. "And that's not even counting quick coordination efforts either. Whether in combat or disaster relief. Who knew loudmouth over here had a serious side...you should show that more often, and maybe we'll get along just fine." First impressions weren't that good. But they weren't the end all. Maybe he should give Daiki a chance if he wasn't all obnoxious all the time...Jun himself was often easy to approach and talk to, but he wasn't necessarily outgoing. The boy gave Fu a quick pat on the head and reassuring smile, hoping his good looks would put her more at ease. He continued to eat the delicious chocolate chip pancakes. Even stacking on two more. But after that, he was pretty full. And he probably should go out for a run soon too.
"Say, after I get done eating and doing some finishing touches on that *points to his laptop* anyone up for a small jog?" Nothing too strenuous. And he did ride a train earlier, and that could get tiring...a twenty to thirty minute jog would be enough. All he needed to do with his dragon was texture the wings and smooth out the horns a bit, something he can do in a half hour at most.

"U...um well... that sort of Emitting quirk isn't all that common and it has uses both in covert operations and as everyone said, disaster relief... and there are people out there who cannot speak, or hear, if you have ways to communicate with them... which sounds like a possibility with more training..." Even though Raphael was generally passive, his knowledge on quirk applications in battle was pretty on point, one would have to thank his father's training and schooling for that. "...Do you know if your quirk works as brain signals that can transcend languages or is it Japanese only? What is your distance limit on it so far?" He then realised he was firing points and questions a little too much in succession and blinked, getting a grip on himself. "I...I'm sorry I was just a little curious... I got a bit carried away...in either case I think...it's not at all useless, there are many ways you can use your quirk so um... I think you will do fine in 1-A..." That was actually what he wanted to say. he also wanted to say that he hoped one day he could see her shine a bright, happy colour than the muddle of greys and smokey blues he could see right now, but saying that would just sound weird and a little intrusive so he avoided it for now. "Well um...I haven't done my evening run yet so... we could go together if you would like to..." Raphael responded to the offer, he had finished his pancake and went to rinse the cutlery and plate he had used. "Thank you, Wolff-san it was really good!"

All these people were encouraging. It was very refreshing hearing people, that were her age and not her family, be encouraging about her quirk. Even someone like Daiki who she did not trust so much yet. Maybe she can work on that. Regardless, Fu could not help but smile as the boys encouraged her. There were really two reasons why Fu felt the the way she did. It was a mix of constantly being told that her quirk was useless for any hero setting and just the self doubt that crept in from seeing her brother's quirk in action. It was just so much better than what she was capable of.
She knew the encouragement was coming from a good place but she felt like they were just exaggerating her quirk. They made it sound like it would be able to used for so many things. It was frustrating. Of course they can see positives in her quirk. They probably have a powerful quirk. Squeezing the seal plushy a bit, she pushed the plate away.
When she heard one of the boys bring up a run, Fu took that as an opportunity to excuse herself. Getting up from the chair, she gave the group a small bow. "Thank you...Have a nice night." Fu gave everyone a small smile before heading back to her room.
Closing and locking the door as soon as she got to her room, Fu noticed that her nightstand lap was still on. Cursing herself, she threw herself in the bed. Flicking the switch, Fu fell asleep shortly after.

Ren took one last bite of his pancakes and then slid his empty plate forward as he turned his attention back to his classmates. It was interesting seeing Daiki calm down a bit, he would have never expected such a thoughtful response based on his first impression of the boy. Maybe he was just as excited as everyone else to be here and this was his normal temperament? Either way, he seemed like a pretty good guy after all. With one last round of encouragement for Futaba and everyone finishing up their food, it seemed like the little gathering was just about over.
Ren considered the suggestion of an evening run for a moment before shaking his head. it wasn't a terrible idea, but getting his blood pumping this late could make it harder to get to sleep. Considering his other obligations, it was probably better to pass this time, and honestly he'd gotten plenty of exercise today while he was running around in town anyway. "Sorry, maybe next time. I've gotta clean up after myself in here and then I should probably turn in before long. Got work in the morning."
As the boy stood up and started to collect everyone's plates, he noted Futaba also retreating from the room. Given her state, she was probably just heading back to bed. Had anything they said actually helped at all he wondered? She'd put on a cheerful face when she left but Ren wasn't exactly convinced by it, he had a whole lot of experience with fake smiles. It really wasn't any of his business, but maybe it wouldn't hurt to check up on every now and then... With a shrug he slipped his earphones back in and went to work picking up the kitchen.

Saying no is closing a door in life. It's an overstatement most of the time, and especially for just a jog, right? However there were no exceptions to the rule. Daiki was someone who had absolved himself of most problems in his life. With long strides and a wisdom surpassing his age (ironically) he's been able to persevere with a relatively healthy mind even at these trying times in his life. He'd look towards the ceiling above them. It was easy to project his imagination on things, even though he wasn't under the night sky, he imagined the stars for a moment. To others he might seem a little fazed out, preoccupied and daydreaming with a stood blank look on his face. However it was apparent he was listening to them, as he occasionally nodded and acknowledged others addition to try and fix Fu. Though more than a conversation was needed for that, it was apparent to Daiki at this point.
He finished off the last few bites of his food. It was a lot, but it's not like he took that much because he was a dick. Not many people knew, but he was the only person with an actual physical quirk. It demanded a higher diet because he was bigger and operated at a higher level. He would get up, only to have Ren walk in front of him with the same idea he had. Tempted to object and do it himself, he then realized it'd look ridiculous with Ren already having half the plates in his arms. Reluctantly he set his plate upon the pile, smiling towards him. It wasn't just a shitfaced smile though, it was a friendly one. He'd at least follow Ren in, speaking up.
"Hey, Wolff-san. I'll help you with cleaning the dishes, least I can do since I have the most of what you cooked." Unless he was harshly rejected in assisting, he'd insist until he was able to help. He seemed to be good with simple chores like this, standing tall and wiping away at the plates, using a bit of soap for each before rinsing them off afterwards. He'd look over towards the rest, Jun particularly.
"Sure, I'll go for a run with you. Need to burn off the food anyways, oh, and thanks overall." He said towards Ren.

Jun nodded at Raph and Fu. Wishing the latter a goodnight. Two people up for jogs. That was good. It took about ten minutes before he was done, then he saved his progress, shutdown his laptop, and went up to his dorm room. He changed into his track pants and a short sleeved shirt. Bounding down the stairs, he spoke to Ren. "Thanks for the food! And thanks for cleaning up! Next time, I'll do it!" He met up with the other two blondes and started on the run. All in all, it was a good day. He got to know his classmates a little bit better. And encouraged another to not look down on herself. While not directly combat related, it was a potentially powerful quirk. But her sudden retreat to bed did worry him. The blond got the gut feeling that she was bad with pressure. At least UA has gotten better at recognizing useful or powerful quirks that weren't necessarily combat related. Or he doubted she would have made it into 1-A let alone the school.
Still, that wasn't all of his classmates. And this week was the first full week of actual schooling. This was going to be interesting, and there was no doubts that things were going to be tough. He had to prove himself. Had to prove to his brother that he can be a hero. And he he'll do what it takes to get there. And possibly make some friends along the way, that was always a good thing.
