With a cool expression that consistently shows either disinterest or deep thought, Kimi is a young man that carries a demeanor that plays into his aesthetic archetype. His crystal, blue eyes carry a softness, but it is often shielded by the defenses his body language performs. He has dark hair that resembles the night, but, like the moon, their is a bright strip of white that shines down from his bangs. His jawline is sharp and confuses those who try to discern his age. His attire is modern; it hints to his wealth, but it typically is casual enough to exude his personality of being somewhat down-to-earth. His outfits tend to highlight his natural features, such as a blue coat he wears often, and they are friendly to consistent mobility. His clothes are never crafted from actual animal parts; if anyone asks, he is not bashful in sharing that he only subscribes to faux leathers and furs.

RUMOR/SECRET: | ”Isn’t he the rich kid that talks to animals?” |
Being raised in a nature and wildlife conservation, Kimi was not really around people his age. In fact, other than his parents and caretakers, he was barely raised with other humans at all. As a result, he is as equally socially apt with animals as he is socially inept with his own species. He often opts for silence whenever he is confronted with a social scenario, such as attending banquets or welcoming visitors to his family’s conservation. To clarify, people do not make him nervous to speak; however, he typically struggles finding the right words to say to appease to an individual’s ego. Further, he believes most people to be egotistical or self-serving in their motives, whether they admit it or not. Due to his isolation, he has not met many who have proven his conceptualization of human nature different. “People misuse wildlife and nature for their own gain. They’re selfish.” Although he carries this attitude, he was raised by his parents to be polite during all social interactions. His walls even tend to chip a bit when he meets someone who truly piques his interest.
Kimi has an above average intelligence that has been reinforced by an expensive in-home education that his parents provided for him. Due to his intense interest in wildlife, he excels in the subject of biology. Since he was a toddler, Kimi loved to quench his curiosities by sneaking into restricted parts of the conservation to study the animals and plant life that dwellt there. To the grief of his caretakers, this almost cost him his life a few times. He now has a good sense of retaining safety, but if there is an animal in need, he’d still risk himself to come to its aid.
Kimi despises poachers. Those who hunt animals for trophy or the black market are considered worse than scum to him. In fact, his main driving force in striving to become a Pro Hero is to gain the power and authority to stop these poachers in their tracks. His dream is a world where nature is not disturbed by the destructive hands of humanity. On a lighter note, the aspiring wildlife hero also has a creative steak to him. He enjoys observing, documenting, and sketching wild and plant life entries in his journal. He loves studying the behaviors and movements of wildlife. Also being somewhat stubborn, he also likes to observe people. He doesn’t like to admit it as it seems contrary to his creed, but he finds his fellow man quite interesting at times.

BACKGROUND HISTORY
HOMETOWN: | Kuromori Wildlife Conservation |
PARENTS: | Adoptive: Taka and Myoko Kuromori |
SIBLINGS: | Only child |
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: | N/A |
OTHER: | Kiani, the domesticated wolf-dog |
Born as a bastard to a young teen with no parental support, Kimi's earliest memories are founded in the orphanage where he spent his years until he was a toddler. Other than an awareness that he was an orphan at one point, his life did not truly begin until he was 3 years old. He was adopted by the Kuromori's - a family with a wealthy heritage and a desire to save all exotic wild and plant life. This was the will of both his parents and, almost instantly, Kimi inherited this will as his own.
Growing up at his family's exotic animal and plant conservation in Japan was nothing short of a wild livelihood. According to Kimi's adoptive parents, he was a natural when he approached the animals. His curiosity knew no ends when examining other creatures and he lacked
an instinctive fear to the more dangerous wildlife. Eventually, his parents healthily shaped a caution in him. He loved and bonded with every animal he encountered. He mimicked their mannerisms often; this was to the point where his parents were once worried he actually thought he was the animal he was copying. To add even more to their concerns, there were several instances where his life was threatened by the predatory nature of certain animals. Luckily, he usually escaped the dire situation unscathed.
On top of his adventures with the animals at his family's conservation, Kimi was disciplined in his educational studies. In this, he excelled in biology and art. His family often took him to foreign excursions, but it wasn't until the age of 10 did they, unknowingly, opened his eyes to the dark nature of this world. During a trip to Africa to visit a partnered conservation, Kimi witnessed a murder before his very eyes: he saw the ruthless killing of a lioness and her cub by the hands of a poacher. Consumed by rage, Kimi, being a late bloomer, manifested his quirk for the first time and conjured a bird to peck the man's eyes out. In order to protect him, his father and mother immediately stopped him and took him away from the scene. They called the authorities, but it wasn't uncommon for illegal hunters to get away with their crimes, especially the ones with useful quirks. And so this specific poacher did. To this day, Kimi carries a grudge not only to that man, but to all poachers.
It was on this day, too, that Kimi decided that he would become a Pro Hero to legally punish these illegal animal hunters. He desired the power to better control his quirk, which was manifesting energy-like animals like the ones he grew up with, to accomplish this goal. Now at the age of 16, Kimi transferred late into UA's 1-A hero course and is accompanied by his protective, yet friendly wolf-dog of 3 years, Kiani. Not only does he want to continue to grow in his knowledge of wildlife, but he yearns to grow in the ways of a hero to one day have the strength to aid exotic creatures in their battle against the greedy ways of man.

THE ARMORY
N/A (I want to fill this in more organically in RP)
QUIRK & SKILLS
Spirit Animal
TYPE: Emitter
RANK/LEVEL: D+
SUMMARY:
Kimi’s quirk, Spirit Animal, allows him to mentally manifest an animal he has observed. This animal has a physical form and copies the trait of said animal (IE: a hawk will have talons and has access to flight) and it has the same physical capabilities (EXCEPT DURABILITY); however, the animal he projects will not have certain inner characteristics that its species normally has (IE: a spider or scorpion does not have access to venom). The animal is also distinguishable as it possesses an ethereal, energy-like form. Due to its nature, the animal is slightly more resistant to physical attacks than their animal counterparts (+15% physical damage resistance), but they are more susceptible to energy and elemental-based attacks (-15% elemental/energy-based damage resistance).
Quirk move:
Eye of the Eagle
Description:
Kimi can temporarily transfer his visual and auditory senses to an animal he’s conjured for 4 posts. This takes his complete focus and leaves his main body completely vulnerable. If his physical body is disturbed by any means (through touch or extremely loud noises), he will instantly lose this connection and will experience a mental blankness for the duration of 3 posts. This animal can only extend as far as 200 meters from his main body.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
Currently, Kimi’s quirk, Spirit Animal, requires intense concentration. The amount of concentration used to maintain a creation depends on the size and quantity of his creations (quantified by mental charge limits described above). If Kimi surpasses his mental charge limit by +1 in his 7 combat posts limit OR exceeds his limit by 1 additional post (IE: 8 posts total), he activates his overdrive effect. After that one post of going past his limit, Kimi enters a mental blankness and then falls unconscious.
His animal projections do not experience pain, but enough impact damage to them can cause them to disperse and/or lose strength. They are more resistant to physical attacks than their animal counterparts, but they weak to energy-based and elemental-based attacks. They have +15% physical damage resistance, but have -15% elemental and energy-based damage resistance. Otherwise, they carry the same life-force and traits of their animal counterparts and will disperse when "killed".

- Small-sized Animals (IE: critters, small dogs/cats, pigeons, etc): Each animal costs 1 mental charge. He can summon these animals instantly (within the same post). They have +15% physical damage resistance, but have -15% elemental and energy-based damage resistance.
- Medium-sized Animals (IE: a dog/wolf, a deer, a hawk, etc.): Each animal costs 3 mental charges. He can summon this animal after 1 post of concentrating. They have +15% physical damage resistance, but have -15% elemental and energy-based damage resistance.
- Large-sized Animals (IE: a bear, a tiger, an eagle, etc.):
Each animal costs 5 mental charges. He can summon this animal after 2 posts of concentrating. They have +15% physical damage resistance, but have -15% elemental and energy-based damage resistance.
Mental Charge Limit: 10 mental charges per thread for up to 7 posts of combat or if the animal is dispersed/destroyed. If Kimi tries to surpass his limits (by going +1 mental charge above OR trying to maintain for an 8th post), he will immediately KO a post after due to the mental strain.

Sharpened Observation
RANK/LEVEL: D+SUMMARY:
Due to his upbringing in his family’s conservation, Kimi’s observational senses have been greatly honed. He spent his whole life observing the movement patterns and behaviors of various wildlife. This has translated to a skill in combat: he can better discern his opponent’s movements and capture a sense of their attack pattern. After 4 posts of observing an opponent's attack pattern, Kimi can better evade their attacks. Although this doesn’t translate to the athleticism to evade these attacks, it gives him the opportunity to set a plan of action and react accordingly.
