Aya watched the exchange, wondering why in the world their guest was standing there. Wisp was clearly emitting a ton of heat, and unless being roasted- literally was his kind of thing, why would he still be there? To exalt himself above others in terms of mental fortitude against adversary? A display of machismo? Whatever it was, it was the sort of thing the villain thought of as ridiculous- probably something some other people would have seen as honorable or admirable, but what use was it to possibly hinder yourself in midst of combat unnecessarily? But then he had been told he had no honor by someone before- to be honest he didn't care about passionate, emotional things like that seeped in humanity. Ultimately the one who survived was the one who did everything with logic and calculation.
So this child had, in his hypothesis, with around 80% likelihood either a telekinesis type quirk, string type quirk or that dreaded intangibility family of quirks. Seeing as they wouldn't tell him, he had to theorise and assume (which was always a dangerous thing to do in his opinion.) and well, he supposed he had to thank Wisp for narrowing it down from an infinite number into 3. He noticed the helmed, suited villain glance over in his direction, as if to say: Oh, you moved?
"You seem to forget, I am a fragile human maiden unlike you inhuman mutation-transformation lot. Warn me next time you try and cook me..."
He deadpanned with a sigh as he walked down the steps again to the bottom step just before the catwalk, before he suddenly reached for his knives, pulling four out of his holster, two in each hand that he threw, seemingly towards the back of Wisp's head but narrowly missing as they sailed through the air, seemingly shifting their travel path and splitting off as they moved straight towards Akuma, aiming for both sides of the shoulder and hips/upper thigh. Instead of verbally answering his crime partner it seemed that was his response.
Oh yes, he had also been told by someone in the past doing these kinds of things was bad sportsmanship also.
Good thing this was business not sport.

Yeah, he was hot. His clothes were soaked with sweat, but that's stopped now. He did almost chuckle at Wisp's look towards the other man, and said man's response. That was pretty true. Kyou watched Marrionettist as he descended the steps, Kyou himself putting pressure on his wound, flinching at the pain. He watched as the puppeteer reached for something. Kyou jumped back, pulling out a knife in each hand as he watched the blades were thrown at the back of Wisp's head. Only for them to narrowly miss and aim for his shoulders and hips/upper thighs. He darted forwards again, swiping at two of the knives to swat them away and avoiding the other two. Akuma backpedaled past the puppets and the dodged knives. Their quirks were similar, so best make sure that attacks were coming from one direction.
"Whatever you think my quirk is, you're probably right. It lacks destructive power on its own, but combined with what I bring with me and the environment, it can be just as lethal as Wisp's. Though I really don't see the point in you knowing what it is...even more so since it's pretty boring nowadays." Akuma's eyes glowed molten orange again. Three of the eight knives that were scattered behind the mastermind of this lifted up and was flung towards the man. Only for them to stop just short of actually stabbing the guy behind each knee and the back of the neck, the points digging just enough to let him know they were there, but not enough to actually shed blood. His eyes narrowed at the man below him. Well, at that general direction, hoping that Wisp wouldn't take it that he was narrowing his eyes at him.
Still, he was in combat stance, ready to move should the puppets decide to make a move as well.

Wisp gave a half hearted shrug at the Marionettist's complaint about the sudden rise in temperature. As if his suit wasn't complaining to him enough already... He tapped away at a few more controls to silence the alarm in his helmet and finally grant himself some peace. "Sorry Marie, next time I'll be sure to let you know beforehand when we're going to take a trip to the sauna. Wouldn't want to ruin our "maiden's" skin." Despite the fact that his tone was perfectly sincere, the words were still practically dripping with sarcasm.
"So... What about-"
As he turned back to face Akuma, a number of shapes flew past his head toward the kid. Knives from his colleague; apparently the audition wasn't over quite yet. On instinct he dropped to a crouch and his muscles tensed up, ready to respond to any sort of threat that might come his way. You never could be too careful with new people... The kid dealt with the opening salvo easily enough, before once again addressing the marionettist about his quirk. This time Wisp actually caught the glow that came through the eye holes in his mask, coming to the obvious conclusion that it must have something to do with his ability. A quick scan across the room revealed the weapons that he'd knocked loose earlier starting to move which meant... yeah, probably some sort of telekinesis. Hard to say just how limited it was from one example, but it was a start... let's see how much more they could get.
Wisp chuckled. "You call my quirk lethal, but you still haven't even seen it how it was meant to be used yet." With a single pulse, a massive cloud of thick black ash exploded out sideways from his body and stretched to cover the length of the warehouse, blocking both him and the Marionettist from sight. A second smaller blast launched him to the side, and another propelled him upward into the rafters where he landed without a sound. As his visor switched over to thermal imaging, he looked down to observe the floor a bit from his new vantage point before he made any more moves. Direct combat was still a bad idea for now, but there was a lot he could do without diving in himself. Besides, having seen The Marionettist in action before, he knew that the guy could more than likely take care of himself.

The fact the child dodged the knives, and left them there made Aya raise a brow. It would have worked that way if his was a Telekinesis quirk where things moved in straight lines and stopped after being hit down... ...but it wasn't.With a sigh, the fingers on his other hand twitched slightly as Kimi, his blonde doll sprinted towards him and the same time as Ore jumped up to knock the blade that was aiming for Aya's neck, blocking and protecting their master's front and back, the other two blades going through the fabric of Ore's clothing. "Telekinesis...I suppose." Seeing as the other man's hands didn't move, and the fact the other seemed to think their quirks were similar, he assumed it was as he flicked four of his fingers, two on each hand and the blades that had fallen around Akuma rose up without warning, before doing a twirling motion in the air, two narrowly missing the figure's neck before shooting back towards the violet haired man. It was simply to let the other know he had used L'harmonie des lames in the most basic and obvious form- but well, he wasn't here to kill anyone, was he. Not today, apparently. That was around the time his companion decided to... smoke fill the room. As Wisp spoke, Aya knew straight away the man was going to do something bad and as the smoke started to flood into the warehouse, Aya backed off holding his breath while the blonde marionette held open it's arm, the capelet it was wearing which usually was used to cover himself from flashbangs not doing such a good job of keeping the smoke at bay. He decided to climb all the way up, his dolls following him. Well, he supposed the kid would do, if he still wanted to come. But he was kinna done for tonight. He wanted to go home and watch anime.

Kyou redirected his blocked knives back to him in a wide berth (the ones that Marionettist blocked). Best not to give anyone the idea he was still out for blood. They put in other compartments in his pants's pockets or what remained of his vest. He did jump back and quickly looked for an easy escape route. Nothing really accessible for him. So he shot Wisp a look. "You already gave me a demonstration, I don't need another one. I have an imagination after all. Besides, seems like Marionnettist is done, now that he got what he wanted. Speaking of, will I do, or not?" He hadn't flinched at all when the guy's knives nearly hit him and slit his neck open. He figured if the guy wanted him dead, he wouldn't have waited until now to do something more lethal. He just hoped Wisp cut out the ash. That stuff was hell on anyone's lungs. And his mask did not have a filter. Perhaps he should invest in one. Same with maybe some contact lens or something for his eyes.
Covering his eyes and mouth, he walked across to the stairs, putting his knives away. Without so much as a stumble, headed for the door. He opened it just to let the ash out, assuming things didn't clear up after Wisp stopped, if he even did stop. Still, his lungs were burning something bad, and had coughed several times. Maybe he should just step out. But he also needed a response too. After all, he wanted to be a part of this.

Well, that was anticlimactic. Wisp's eyes traced the Marionettist's form upwards after he deflected Akuma's attack. His colleague came to rest not terribly far from his perch up in the rafters, but it was pretty obvious that things were wrapping up here. His gazed shifted back to the kid on the ground , watching the heat outline on his display through the dense cloud of smoke. That was that, huh? He tapped his comms and opened up a channel to the Marionettist, shutting off the external speakers so that their prospective partner couldn't hear him talk. "So puppet master, do we have a verdict? Personally I'm not the biggest fan, and I'd say there's at least a 30 percent chance that he just makes the situation more complicated for us, but it's your job and you're in charge on this one, so...."
He trailed off as Akuma called out to him and complained about the smoke, though the kid wouldn't be able to tell that Wisp wasn't in the direction he was looking through the black clouds. His views were more than a little biased, given just how much the guy had irritated him, but that deserved to be in the calculation as much as anything else. The question was, did this Akuma deserve a bit more slack, or was his instinctual distaste right on the money? Well, the only way they would be able to find out for sure would be to give him a chance, right? At least one. And if things didn't go well on this job, well, there was never a need to run into the guy again. It would be a risk, but then again, so was the first mission that he'd done with The Marionettist and the others. That was just how things in this business worked.

Hearing the soft crackle of the earpiece he was wearing and Wisp’s voice coming through it, he had to agree on the percentages, hell, it might even be 35% from what he could see… “I suppose...if he ends up messing up we can just leave him. He does not know enough about us for it to be an issue even if he was caught. And if he gets supremely in the way then we can rid him there and then.”
Aya replied to his assosiate regarding his concerns.
...and if the child wasn’t a complete failure, then they may be gaining another contact. With the high turnover numbers in this field, it was always good to have more people on the books, and unfortunately for that sometimes one had to take a risk. “I shall be contacting you at a later date, Akuma. I think this concludes our meeting for today.” He called out before he slid into the office, his dolls following him and he closed the door to keep the smoke out should it come up this high. “Thank you for your time today, Wisp, I shall let you know more details on the next job soon.” He said into the earset before glancing at the CCTV to see what movements the two would make to leave. It was always… good to know your allies well, was it not? So he could support them in combat and... kill them if the occasion arose for the necessity to do so.
