"Yes, my love?" spoke the meeker Asian man, Jianyu. His slender hands moving up the chest of the darker-skinned man, their eyes ever so brilliantly gazing into one another. Jianyu's white hair was a shade pinker, hiding a secret of his own.

"Wait. Jianyu's supernatural too?! What...?!" said the orange-haired male, reading what looked like a math book... underneath it being a fairly trashy, yet quality(?) romance novel underneath it. To most people, he was a little too into his studies. Not many knew that Mr. Perfect's test scores ranged from low, to damn near lowest, to the point where he was worried he'd endanger his stay at U.A. Still, he continued on, reading with a slight blush on his face.

Jun-Seo pulled the face of Jianyu ever closer. The blood seeped down his lips that of his lover, as his eyes would glow crimson in the night. The room illuminated by the blue moon, as he stared on. The vampire watched on, with a smile, pulling the white-haired beauty upon his lap on the bed. Jianyu's hands had traveled a bit to his chest to caress and-

Yukai closed the book without any provocation to do so.

The orange-haired boy's face was absolutely red. That wasn't safe to read right now, not in public anyways. But damn. This volume they had Jun-Seo reveal his vampiric side to Jianyu, and Jianyu was something otherworldly too. What was it? It was getting steamy, and the orange-haired boy had to pull his collar to remove some of the heat he felt, though it came from his chest. The couple had finally come to terms with their love, and after a steamy blood drink, he had to admit. This was the best one yet.

But if anyone saw Yukai Miru reading the cutest romance story alive, that would... cause some issues. As he raised a bit of the food from his tray up to his mouth, he looked down. Brussels sprouts. Not the worst choice of food, but at least it was healthy? It wouldn't be met by odd eyes, unless of course they stared at the other contents of his plate, which were nothing, and nothing else. Yukai was a thin boy, who hadn't been eating a lot lately, but the second year had a reason to not eat, after all.

He was grinning rather happily as he ate. The optimist persona was let out, as he ate alone, surrounded by no one at all, having a... math book next to him as he ate. A five foot five blond walked into the cafeteria. His bangs were parted to frame his face. His green eyes shown, and had a certain spring to his step. Today was a good day. So far. Jun got his food, a double decker club sandwich, beef brisket with mustard BBQ sauce, scallop potatoes, cottage cheese, and a small rack of ribs. He had a high metabolism. So he could eat quite a bit and not gain any weight. Still, the food wasn't as good as what Ren made. Which was probably a good thing. His leaving every weekend didn't help his reputation. Luckily, it didn't really harm it either. Still, he wanted to eat, then sleep some. He looked around for a place sit. And there was plenty. But what caught his eye was an orange-haired boy with a math book next to him and a plate full of...Brussels sprouts? That...was an odd choice of single food. Still, the band looked cute. And looked oddly familiar.
He sat down a couple tables away. Math was a nasty subject. But he was good enough to get a solid 86 on the last test. Munching happily, he eyed the cute guy. He wasn't in his year he didn't think. Jun knew there were plenty of late comers in his class, and he didn't pay much attention to the general studies courses. But the guy still seemed awfully familiar. It was until after he was done with the sandwich that he realized who that was. Happy Meal! Last year, he went all the way to the tournament. Sure, he was defeated in the first round, but his quirk was powerful. If a little cringe worthy. It was both a bit of a gift and a curse. Still, he was a good looker. A second-year, but that wasn't a deal breaker at all. Heck, he was willing to go for Mika-senpai if he wasn't so afraid of commitment.

Fake. He always had been, from the moment the orange-haired male came for his second year at U.A. He played the fake optimist. If he were being honest, his eyes downcast upon the book with a somber demeanor for a moment. A one-way mirror for anyone to peer through for just a moment. With no context, it just showed he took his studies seriously. But from his point of view, it was filled with envy.

Wait a second. Was he being watched? He felt that chill run up his spine, as his eyes shot upwards, to see... his eyes met the blonde kouhai's. Blink. Right, he needed to keep the facade up. Yukai began to smile. It was small at first; enjoying being in the cross-hairs of a cute blonde.

Volume 1. Sugar and Spice. The world seemed to shift to a fantasy, within Yukai's perspective.

The kouhai would gaze with an intensely interested glance upon the dashingly rugged senpai, as the senpai would get up and walk with an apparent amount of swagger over to the obviously attractive kouhai. "Hey." said he, the senpai whose muscles were excessively big and not at all narcissistic. The kouhai spoke with hearts in his eyes in return. "Hey." he would respond, as the handsome manly senpai sat across from the kouhai. A loving gaze shared between the duo.

Reality check. Maybe all of those BL novels had distorted his view on romance.

No, instead, what happened was Yukai taking a chance he wouldn't normally. Grabbing the book close-by to him, and leaving his tray of two remaining Brussels sprouts, he walked his way over with none of the apparent swagger at all towards Jun's table, and sat himself not across, but diagonally across by one seat, as he looked at Jun with a smile. "Hey. It's kind of lonely to eat alone, so uh... mind if I join you?" it was clear he was a little nervous in talking Jun. But who wouldn't be? Either Jun was a sweet guy, or he was a bully. Hardly an in-between. "I'm... Yukai Miru. Second year. You?" His smile was attempting to be somewhat confident.

Jun gave a small wave when Happy Meal smiled at him. Oh wow. And then the boy took his book and approached Jun. No swagger, and instead of taking the seat across from him, Yukai took the seat diagonal from him. An interesting choice, though probably not intentional. Poor guy seemed hopelessly out of his depth. It was really quite amusing. But he wasn't without his own little bit of charm. Jun purposely moved to his left, making a better set up so that they were directly across from each other. Grinning all the while while motioning that it was fine. "I'm Jun Tomoshibi, class 1-A. Nice to meet you. I cheered for you, you know. Last year at the sports festival. Sure you lost in the first round of the tournament, but I thought you were very cool. And cute. Even more so in person." He gave a playful wink. His own parents weren't that impressed, but what did they know?
Clearly showing a bit more confidence than the red head. He slowly ate his food, and looked at the book. "Don't suppose math gets any easier. I'm not bad at it, it's just super annoying..." Although was it just him, or did it seem like there was something hidden inside it? Whatever it was, it was thin, just enough to tell if you were paying attention. But he wasn't going to be that bold and call it out. Besides, Yukai had too cute a face to simply ignore it like that.

There's something to say about a cute face in the cafeteria. Yukai's face was a tad heated, he had to admit. The moment that Jun talked about cheering for him during the sports festival, Yukai's face lit up more. Oh? So a fan of his? And one who thought he looked cool and cute? He laughed modestly. Part of him wanted to play it off and seem confident, but the other was so disarmed by the notion of his kouhai thinking he was cute.

Aside form the accidental, but definitely now on-purpose flirting, the blonde asked about the math book. Yukai, being the obvious smartypants he was, responded with a "Math? What?" his gaze moved to the math book, and immediately back-pedaled, and nodded quickly. "RIGHT. MATH. Yes, math is hard. Right. I... yeah. I do math." Yukai's face was more red now, as he looked to the blonde.

"Well, um... Jun Tomoshibi, I could... you know, tutor you sometime. You know, over dinner?" Smooth. Only realizing too late that he was asking him out, and immediately attempted to backpedal. He threw his hands forward, flailing a bit, his face almost distraught with embarrassment at what he proposed. "But if you aren't feeling it, you don't have to say yes, I'm just making a suggestion of a certain time of day, like you know, we could do it at midnight in my dorm room and this... doesn't sound better, does it?" Smoother. Wonder which BL volume that came from. "Or I could shut up, and stop babbling... and hope."

The boy turned a little bit more red and laughed modestly. And it seemed like Jun was making him nervous. The blond couldn't help but think that the guy was just getting cuter. Especially when he stuttered and said he was hot. Hot? Cute, sure, he'll freely admit that, but never hot! He didn't have the abs for that! The blond giggled cutely and his ears turned pink. "Well, half my quirk is fire." He tried to play off his quirk. And the next bit of stuttering the poor boy did made him grin like an idiot. Even more so after he was unceremoniously asked out. On a date. Even though the guy was embarrassed and tripped all over himself, Jun's face blushed the brightest pink. Why was this guy so endearing! They'd only have a short time for the date though. But he can work with this! "Now senpai~ are you asking me out on a date? Because if you are...meet me at the school gate by 5:45. I'm a hopeless romantic, sappy gay boi. See you then!~" As he devoured the rest of his food in record time, he got up and swaggered out, just stopping long enough to look back, wink and grin at Yukai, and go out towards the dorm. And promptly freaked the hell out on what the hell he was gonna wear! He hadn't gone on a legitimate date in...ever. No one was sincere, no one was nice, or anything. The closest thing he had to a legit date was Mika-senpai. And that wasn't even a date! It was becoming friends with potential benefits and hanging out! ~Time Skip~ Jun was walking towards the gate with just a single minute to spare. But he wasn't technically late! He easily spotted senpai. "Yo. So, where are we going tonight?" |

[break][break] As he ate himself the rest of his light lunch, Yukai realized what all of this meant, and as he tripped over himself, the headbanded redhead would quickly rush to his dorm room with his book. Trying to oh so casually be casual. He had been in some of his best date clothes, and his chest was slightly open in case Tomoshibi-kun liked it. He didn't know what his date would like, but he liked him, and that was crazy enough. [break][break] When he saw Jun, the redhead turned his gaze and attempted to whistle- only nervously blowing air out in a manner that did not seem to do so. Realizing all too late, the redhead threw a hand behind his head. "Y-Yo." Okay Yukai, now slowly make contact with Jun's hand. You can do it. Okay, your hand is there, now firmly grasp it. Okay, hold it. Yes? Is he responding well? Distract him if he isn't! [break][break] "I was thinking dinner. Y-You know, with me. Maybe out to eat, or uh... a-at my dorm's lounge? I um... Jun's hand would feel pretty soft. Jun himself liked the warmth, and Yukai's outfit...he might have stared a bit at his chest a little long. Then again, it wasn't like the blond himself wasn't showing a little skin, his naval and stomach was definitely showing a little bit from the bottom two buttons on his shirt being unbuttoned and having some low-rider pants on. The blond got closer to the red head, close enough that it was clear they were together, but maybe not so close that they hadn't been dating long. Still, out of the rambling, the things that caught Jun's eye was the fact that he thought about going to dinner and the fact that Yukai's family runs a bakery. Poor boy was gonna die from nervousness and/or embarrassment. Shaking his head, he spoke up. "It's fine. I'm finding your rambling endearing. Besides, we're on this date to learn more about each other, not really tutoring...I got an 86 on my last math test, so I'm doing well enough there. You lead to a good place to eat...and while we're doing that, tell me more about this bakery your family owns...I'm a sucker for amazing food..."
He allowed the red head to lead the way. And listened to the guy talk about about his family. Jun would then let slip a little bit about his own. "My mom is a retired lawyer in both Japan and America. Dad is retired military and police. So getting into the justice system might just be in our blood. My family is pretty large, but also pretty accepting..."
