Creation Handbook
So, you have a character idea, and you want to make an app. But you don’t quite know how. In this creation handbook, we try to help you get ideas to fill out your app. We’re going to dissect the template here. All we ask is a basic understanding of the english language where most of us can read it without cringing. We’re not grammar nazis, but we do expect to be able to read it without issue.
As quirks are part of the body, like any other skill the longer, more often or harder one trains at it the higher they are thought to be.
Here are some guidelines to what we think are reasonable starting ranks per age group. There are extreme cases, but it is rare. (NK note: If your character is not a super ultra sugoi mega genius. You will be here. Justifications as to why you are not in these categories will be needed. You will not be a roaming ronin who just awakens to villainy at the age of 35 with an ‘B’ or ‘A’ rank quirk. More than likely your quirk will be C at best. So take that into consideration when creating your character)
Children under 14: F~D-
14-18: D-~C+
19-24: C~B+
25+: B+~
Above are examples of characters who have had access to formal training, or been constantly put in testing situations that push them to develop their quirk. People who have not trained in their quirk, or are civilians who do not often use their quirk will be thought to rank lower at their age.
In general the starting rank guidelines divided into year groups in U.A are as follows:
1st year: D-~C-
2nd year: D+~C+
3rd year: C-~C+
Please note any student of U.A can only be C+ at maximum at age of graduation.
At One for All, we adopt a faction system derived from the show which are as follows:
Courses available:
Hero Course- For students aiming to become a front line or front line support pro hero.
Support Course- For students aiming to become hero support inventors or backline field support heroes.
General Studies- For students who are not looking or suitable to becoming a pro hero, there is a general education course.
Hero Management Studies- For students who are looking to become PR managers for pro heroes and manage agencies in the future.
First years are 15-16yrs old.
Second years are 16-17 yrs old.
Third years are 17-18years old.
These professors are all usually ex or currently working Pro Heroes who are experts at their field. Their primary role is to guide the children who attend U.A into becoming heroes of the future via running Training and other lessons to broaden their knowledge and offer advice.
While still in its early stages, this law passed in Japan is one that essentially allows those who acquire a temporary quirk license free reign to utilize their quirk. Rather than allowing only a select few to use their quirk in public, so long as a person has this license, they have the RIGHT to use their quirk during any time. There are only two stipulations with this however that are in effect regardless of the person's occupation.
1) You may not use your quirk to harm others or their property
2) You will solely be responsible for your actions regardless of their outcome.
Ages vs Quirk/Skill ranks

Factions
At One for All, we adopt a faction system derived from the show which are as follows:
Pro Heroes
People who have graduated from one of the Japanese hero schools existing (U.A, Shiketsu, Ketsubutsu, Seiai) or overseas hero schools, alternatively another route to pass the national hero exam and hold a current, valid hero license. They either work for an agency, run an agency or in rare cases, solo and are paid by the government for criminal activity they suppress. They will aim to use non lethal methods to stop and capture Villains in almost all cases and always abide by the law to carry out their work.Vigilantes
People who have, for whatever reason not obtained or had their hero license revoked but carry on doing work similar to a hero illegally. Their intentions are heroic (in their opinion) in nature, and they try and OFTEN use non lethal methods to stop crime and capture Villains. However, they are breaking the law and may be seen as criminals to the law regardless how they may personally view themselves. However, they are classified as Vigilantes not Villains due to how the world views them and the nature, aim of their deeds. Villains
People who, for whatever reason have decided to turn to a life of crime. Ranging from robberies to mass murder, their morals or lack of depends on the person in question. They may or may not currently be known to law enforcement and heroes/vigilantes, but if seen would be a target of capture. Most live making money via means of the Japanese villain underworld, which is a vast circuit in itself.U.A Students
Children who are currently enrolled in Japan’s most famous hero school. Whether they are aiming to be a hero, support hero, inventor or hero management, they are thought to be a cut above other candidates to have been accepted in the prestigious school.Courses available:
Hero Course- For students aiming to become a front line or front line support pro hero.
Support Course- For students aiming to become hero support inventors or backline field support heroes.
General Studies- For students who are not looking or suitable to becoming a pro hero, there is a general education course.
Hero Management Studies- For students who are looking to become PR managers for pro heroes and manage agencies in the future.
1st Year
Brand new students, they have very little, if any combat experience and are just starting to understand their quirks enough to use them and how to apply them to a combat situation, or how to deal with situations heroes may face. Having a lot to learn, they will spend the next year familiarising with the pro hero world and what it means to become one for real, with many setbacks and mistakes in their path to graduation.First years are 15-16yrs old.
2nd year
Students who have attended U.A for a year, passing their first year exam and clearing many small challenges they faced in their first year. They are more familiar with their quirks now and what is expected of a hero and their role in a team, and most if not all will have an agency they are doing internships in by this point.Second years are 16-17 yrs old.
3rd year
Senior students who are getting ready to graduate and become fully fledged heroes. They have most likely learnt all they can about their quirk at their level, and simply working everyday to hone their techniques. Most spend half their time in school, other in their agencies and preparing for their final graduation exams.Third years are 17-18years old.
Teachers
These professors are all usually ex or currently working Pro Heroes who are experts at their field. Their primary role is to guide the children who attend U.A into becoming heroes of the future via running Training and other lessons to broaden their knowledge and offer advice.
Civilians
Ordinary people who could not or chose not to go in any path related to heroics and live their life peacefully without causing trouble. This faction includes law enforcement (police) and very petty criminals who do not cause much trouble. -Freedom Quirk Act-
