Tall and steadfast, everything about Ryuu's stature exudes confidence. With a pair of sharp eyes that seem to be able to the discern the truth of the world, Ryuu carries around himself an air of seriousness. Unlike his younger sister, Ryuu's body language strongly conveys to people that he knows who he is. He walks with a purpose and his gaze is unwavering. With no scars to speak up due to his limited exposure to actual combat, Ryuu has nearly flawless skin.

For as long as he could remember, Ryuusei Himura was the kind of guy who always knew what he had to do. Sure at times he could sarcastic, cold, and blunt. But he was the kind of guy you could rely on when you were in a jam.
Given his natural disposition however, even if he might not have liked the choices that were laid out before him, he weighed them all equally before choosing the one that made the most sense. Given his upbringing, Ryuu had always been trained to make the logic choice in a situation. His parents drilled into him time and time again the importance of making a decision.
It was that training that caused Ryuusei to develop the stoic and serious attitude that he has today. When dealing with most people, Ryuu had a no nonsense demeanor. He comes to the most logical conclusions and acts on them. There was only one instance in his life in which he didn't know what to do. It was when his parents had gotten injured. During that brief period, Ryuu had been lost.
It however didn't take him very long to find himself. Upon hearing Fu declare her intentions to become a hero, Ryuu had been snapped out of his reverie. Filled with worry, Ryuu was distraught on what he needed to do. Or so he was until the answer suddenly came to him. Surprisingly enough, the conclusion he reached was a rather simple one. Rather than worry needlessly about something he couldn't change. All he needed to do was do as he did before. Take the proper course of action.
As a side note, though stoic and serious, Ryuusei is cool and collected in all matters aside those that involve his family. If it concerns his family, Ryuu's reserved attitude will vanish and he not hesitant to act. Ryuusei tends to be most comfortable around his family and will relax around them in most instances. However being that he can only ever be himself around his younger sister, Ryuu tends to prioritize her higher than most other things. Even correct choices.

Born into a family of two Pro-Heroes, Ryuu always had quite a few expectations levied upon him. From the get-go being the first child, Ryuusei's parents expected quite a lot of him. Those expectations only grew the moment his quirk manifested. An offshoot of his mother's ability, Ryuu's aptitude with it proved to be rather remarkable. Thought not initially very power, his ability to quickly grasp the mechanics behind it caused his parents to raise their ever high hopes for him.
Rather outgoing as a kid, Ryuu's personality began to change as he felt the weight of responsibility begin to bear down on him. Around his parents, Ryuu did his best to please them. Around his sister however, well...it felt like that was the only time he could be himself.
Growing up with her their relationship was relatively normal and had it's fair share of ups and downs. But all in all, Ryuu and Futaba were fairly close. That however didn't mean that Ryuu disliked his parents. On the contrary, he looked up to them. Being that they embodied the very thing he wanted to emulate, he constantly strove to meet the training standards his mother set for him.
When it eventually came time for him to apply for U.A. High school, Ryuusei was ready. He did alright on the most of the portions but when it came to the practical exam he excelled rather easily. With his admission practically secured, Ryuusei's future had been pretty much set in stone. Completing his first year without any hiccups, Ryuu figured his second would be a lot of what the first had been.
How wrong had he been.
It should have been like any other job but it wasn't. When he had gotten the news about what had happened...something inside of Ryuusei Himura broke. How could his parents lose? How could his parents get hurt? How could this happen? Questions like these swirled inside his head as he rushed to his parents side.
When he had gotten to the hospital, Ryuusei learned two things.
The first was that his parents were crippled for life....but they were going to live. And secondly that Futaba wanted to become a hero. Given the nature of her quirk, Ryuu voiced his objections to the idea but his sister was set on the course of action. For the next few days that he was home with her, he tried to convince her otherwise but she wouldn't budge from her convictions.
Which was fine after Ryuusei had time to think about longer.
Although he couldn't change Futuba's mind, that didn't mean he couldn't keep her safe. The world was a big and scary place where all sorts of bad things could happen to good people. His parents had been good people. They even tried to help society the correct way. But it hadn't worked. Which meant it was up to their son Ryuusei Himura to rectify society. The right way.

SUMMARY:
Like his sister, Ryuusei developed a quirk that was based around his mental capabilities. To put it simply, with this quirk, Ryuusei is capable of controlling objects within his designated zone of control.
Nothing more.
Nothing less.
With training there are several areas that Ryuusei can improve his quirk in. That includes the area of control. The power by which he can exude. The timetable by which he is capable of utilizing his quirk. The weight he lift. And more intricate feats that are considered to be special moves by him due to their complex nature.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
○ Those numbers are rough indicators for Ryuusei's ability and it isn't impossible for him to surpass them. However in doing so will instantly result in a KO for him soon after (Next Post) as the amount of strain it places on his mind would be overwhelming considering how even at max power, the mental load on his brain is already quite high. He will also experience an extreme backlash from exceeding the safe limits.
While operating at those near maximum levels, Ryuu can only keep up such actions for a maximum of four posts safely. Anymore than that and he'll start to experience a backlash from his abilities. At FIVE posts he's vision will began to blur, his nose will start to bleed, and a severe headache will develop. At SIX posts Ryuu's brain will begin to fry and he will be liable to experience brain damage. At SEVEN posts, if Ryuu hasn't succumb to the intense pain and passed out by now, he will effectively become brain dead.
○ Using low amounts of power to lift light objects is generally not too taxing for Ryuu. When adding extra maneuvers to something such as lifting+throwing, or grabbing+lifting, is when the mental load for Ryuu's starts to dramatically increase. Of course though, using his quirk for menial things generally isn't very draining but it also isn't very dangerous. There isn't a specified time limit on using his quirk for small daily tasks.
○ While using his quirk, Ryuusei generally has to use his arms and fingers to direct his power efficiently. Using his arms has been a crutch for him as technically it should be possible for him to use his quirk with just his mind alone. He hasn't learned how to do this yet however. Objects below 10 lbs/ 4.5kg require only a finger. Objects between 10-35lb / 4.5 - 15kg require a arm. Anything above that requires both.
○ Considering the concentration required for such abilities would be rather high, if Ryuu's head gets rattled or he experiences any sort of physical trauma he will have a significantly harder time trying to utilize his abilities. Poisons that debilitate or even shocks can also be highly disruptive to him. Mild drugs and even alcohol have an adverse affect on his quirk. Even with just a single drink, Ryuu is highly susceptible to mind altering substances and those substances make it near it impossible for him to use his ability.
