"I'll pick you up at 5pm tomorrow to take you to rehearsal, Raphael-kun. Good night!" A single black car stopped outside the gates of U.A high school at 9pm, the door opening and a small, blonde male stepping out after bowing. "Thank you for today, good night." His voice was stiff, controlled as he waited for the car to drive off before he walked up to the gate, tapping his student ID on the keycard reader and letting himself in, trying to make sure the gate closed as quietly as possible not to disturb anyone who may already be sleeping. Usually, he would be feeling sleepy at such a late hour (at least in his standards.) but he was feeling...odd. The feeling had carried on for a while now, he wasn’t sure what started it but everything seemed a little surreal, as if he was watching a film rather than living real life. He guessed it was just because he was busy, but he couldn’t stop now. He had so much to do, he had to get better somehow, he had to. The blonde made his way towards the 1st year A dorm when he saw someone sitting there, in the dark school grounds on a bench. It was a decently warm night, but what were they doing?? Wasn’t that… one of the new students from his class? Yes, it was. It was...that girl who he spoke to on the chat app. The one who sounded a little like him, but also the opposite at the same time. He remembered feeling confused at her replies to his questions, there was something that caught his attention. He couldn’t put his finger on it but… He found himself walking towards the girl, not really knowing what he was aiming to do. Talk. Maybe. Why? He...wasn’t 100% sure. Maybe he just wanted a better understanding of someone who was apparently created to fulfill a purpose (very much like himself) but didn’t seem to care much about said purpose. “Good...evening…Collins-san.”

Tonight brought out the worst in Teresa, it seemed. She had done her studies and even those that weren't even due tomorrow, and had sat in her room doing nothing but jotting down in her journal all that had happened recently. She wasn't in the worst of moods, but her stoic emotionless personality seemed to be rather gloomier than usual these types of nights. In her hands she had her teddy bear and a book that she had the thought to read, but her mind did not want to do it. Classes in this place made her rethink some things in her own personal life. She noticed how free the kids around her were, how easily they were able to make friends. Friends, that was a foreign word for her to get across her thoughts without tripping on it. She never had any, nor was she ever encouraged to become friends with anyone. Her father kept her isolated, for the most part, from the world and told her that people can get in the way of things that must be done. To be quite honest, her father wasn't the best of people to inform her on what to do and what not to do. After the death of his wife, his mood took a darker turn when it came to anything remotely nice for others. Still though, Teresa still followed whatever she was told since she was raised to be nothing but a tool or her father's whims.
She had thought she was going to be the only one out here this time of night, but she had been wrong. It wasn't as if she had expected it to be just her, but she had not expected anyone else. Looking up, she noticed someone from her class that she had only talked to once for a short time on the school chat. Or at least she thought it was him, the names on the chat were only so telling. She had used her 'hero name', or as her father called it, her 'code name'. Teresa didn't feel like it was a good hero name, but she did not fuss as it was just another thing that she was to accept about her life. Perhaps being at UA will make her name have more sense. She stood up quietly and gently, keeping good posture as if she were a machine created for just serving others. Bowing respectfully, she folded her hands in front of her with her teddy bear clasped in them. "Good evening, Seraphine-san. How do you do this evening?" Her tone held no warmth to it. It never did. She spoke in her usual even tone that sounded more monotone than anything. Much like a computer.

The way the young girl carried herself summoned a feeling of familiarity in Raphael as he watched her greet him in response to his own rather badly executed greeting. In general, when he wasn’t directly in the public eye or feeling like he was put in a spotlight he tended not to be as “proper” as he was trained to be, and ended up reverting more into his normal personality of being quiet and rather shy. “I’m doing alright, I think, thank you...and yourself? Is it...okay if I join you?” A small smile graced the young blonde’s lips, it was soft and polite, the kind most would say was pleasing. He hoped to god that the girl wouldn’t think he was being really weird talking to her out of the blue like this, in the dark at night. It was just...well, he had time right now, she seemed to be sort of free (from what he could tell) and they usually didn’t have much time to talk as outside classes Raphael had quite a packed schedule. He was actually really surprised that she had remembered his name, but maybe, like himself, she had learnt the whole class register off by heart. If someone like himself had thought of it, probably others had too.
"It's quite a nice evening- what brings you outside?"
A slight tilt of the head as he studied the other, noticing the teddy bear. Did she always have that? For some reason, it almost looked like a part of her, something the teen was attached to. It was cute, to say the least.

Teresa was not without curiosity. She thought that finding her run-in with one of her classmates again to be interested. First Daiki, and now Raphael Seraphine, the young woman thought with a mental sigh. She was not opposed to conversation, it was just that...she wasn't sure how to go about casual conversation. At parties her father brought her to, or charity gala's, or even some meetings with perspective customers, there was always a script to be followed to the letter. She was not to speak unless spoken to and above all, she was not to embarrass her father or the family business in anyway. When she was much younger, it bothered her to have such strict rules, but as she grew older under such strict environment and rules it became second nature to her to simply follow orders and become an asset rather than be a hindrance to her family. This interaction is what made her slightly uncomfortable, though she did not seem so outwardly. It had no script to follow. It was a conversation out of the blue. With Riku at the start she had questions prepared and just simply wandered where he went to take her around the school to show her. With Daiki she knew the nature of the conversation from the chat and could extrapolate from there.
How unsettling...
She motioned toward the seat next to her in a way that said he could sit there if he wanted and then went back to her hands folded on her lap in front of her lightly. "If you would like to, please go ahead," Her tone was polite, neutral in expression, yet emotionless in tone. There were some who akin-ed her to a living doll, and they would not be that far off in their assumptions. She was just a tool, after all. "I am fair, though with how fast my studies seem to go, I find I have more time at this school than I previously did while at my private school or at home with my tutors. I find it rather odd." Her short answers were common among her conversations with others. She spoke to the point and bluntly. Her ability to lie was almost nonexistent, though she was ordered not to lie by her father to begin with. She glanced over at her fellow student with mild and dull curiosity. "I thought that if I had free time, I could catch up on the reading I was told to do by my father. However, even that does not sate my satisfaction tonight. I am at odds with myself, it seems."
Her eyes leveled at his while she spoke fairly straightforward. She was brought up to never be shy in conversation. "And what about you, Seraphine-san, if I may ask?"

“Thank you, Collins-san.”
Raphael said softly, sitting himself down beside the girl. The way he held himself, his posture, the way he sat down, it was all neat and perfectly well mannered, like he had been taught to be. It was so strange, this person didn’t have a colour reading, infact she seemed to be emitting a sort of aura that was... well, colourless.
At least that’s how it looked to the blonde boy, and that did stir his curiosity. What sort of thoughts and emotions did someone have to be so radiantly clear? He was always almost drowning in many thoughts and feelings, trying to cover them up, drain them somehow before those colours tainted his song, his quirk, his purpose.
“I... am alright, thank you.”
He replied, it was a lie, but who was he lying to? His classmate who probably didn’t care either way? Well, she may if she knew his useless, interfering thoughts could hinder their progress in group training. In fact, that was one thing that he had nightmares over- what if one day his quirk didn’t work like his father had always warned him because he couldn’t empty his mind?
“I know... this sounds strange and um... I apologise for that but... how do you keep your mind so clear and still?”
A question he usually would have been far too meek to ask, but his internal conflict was bubbling to almost a point he felt like his brain would bleed out of his ears if he didn’t find a way to ease the noise. But he regretted asking the moment the words left his lips, making him panic a little.
“O-oh I’m sorry that... may have been a personal question on your training regimen... you don’t... have to... answer... I’m sorry...”
