Congratulation, NEW students of U.A! Today you start your great journey on becoming one of the best our country has to offer! Be it heroes! Sidekicks! Support! Or Musicians! Whatever it might be, we have it! We are excited for all of you to be here! Before we start, however, we have one last thing to do! Class Assignments! These assignments will be done by staff! You will be sorted into classes based on ability and synergy with others! Don't worry if you're assigned in a class you don't expect to be in! You can still achieve whatever you want, no matter where you start!
Futaba looked at the little sheet of paper, indicating the classroom she had to go to. It was one of the upperclassmen rooms, if she remembered correctly. The first years had gotten there earlier so they could move in and what else they would have to do. Her brother was there, yes, but he was going to help her move in. She looked forward to moving in but first she had to get her class assignment. It would determine the area she would have her room so it was rather important.
Finally getting to the classroom, she slid the door open. A few people were already in the room, chatting each other up. Fu looked at her feet as she entered, embarrassed she was late. Even if she was not late, she still felt embarrassed. Finding an open seat, she slid into it. Resting her head on the desk like a pillow, she gazed around the room. There were no teachers so far but a few students had found their way in. Her eyes glazed over, not paying much attention to her surroundings. She hated meeting new people. She was fairly introverted and most people just ended up being mean to her. If this affected her class standings, she did not care much. She got into U.A. and they could not take that away.
[OOC: This is a thread where all students can meet each other and teachers get interactions with students outside of class.]

Raphael gazed out of the window, sitting at a desk in the corner near the front. It had been more than a miracle he had not got lost getting to the classroom that was stated on the piece of paper, that much was truth. He had a knack of getting lost, it was like some hidden, latent effect of his quirk or something (or, maybe he was just really bad at directions, this was probably more the case.) and his manager had already banned him from going to any of his jobs by himself as it was guaranteed he would get lost, something he had done quite a few times in the past. But now he was let alone to fend for himself in his new high school life... it may become a challenge, to say the very least... But today was going pretty okay! He had gotten to school and everything fine, even found the room he was meant to be in, and found himself a seat. He was semi daydreaming as he idly watched the mass of students outside making their way into school, the pink cherry blossoms were in full bloom, like they were around this time of year. he was singing quietly to himself, trying to come up with the lyrics to a new song he had been sent last night that he was meant to start rehearsing tonight. "Memories...? Would that go...? My treasured, memories...? No..." He mumbled to himself. He tried to get inspiration from the scenery before him, the mix of emotions of people in the room, people walking past the window. But it felt...wrong somehow. It didn't fit. Why was he so bad at this? It was hard to convey something, even when it was right in front of him. A small sigh escaped his lips.
Come on, Raphael try harder...

"Lets see.... Where are we?"
Ren mumbled to himself as he glanced down at the paper that mentioned where they'd be getting class assignments. 1-A, easy enough to remember, not so easy to find however. The school was complicated enough that he was almost positive they hired a maze builder to design the architecture... That, or they had just tried to fit too much in the space they had. An interesting thought, considering just how massive the structure actually was. The boy's eyes scanned back over to his other hand where his phone displayed the layout of the facility, complete with arrows meant to guide him from the entrance to his homeroom, which was highlighted yellow on the map. By his reckoning and the general flow of people, it would be just around the next corner. Almost there.
Ren fiddled with his phone for a moment as he tried to switch it off, still quite not used to layout of buttons on the new model. When he finally managed to find the right one to flick off the display, his own reflection in the glass gave him pause. That was going to take some getting used to as well. He still hadn't completely adjusted to his new appearance, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing in his case. If he had trouble recognizing the face in the mirror, then it stood to reason that everyone else would as well. Everything had been going almost exactly to plan so far, so much that it seemed too good to be true. Almost didn't even feel real honestly, like something would come apart at any moment and take it all away. Now that was a truly dreadful thought. He tucked his phone away and nervously ran a hand through his blonde hair before forcing himself forward again. "Worrying about it isn't going to do anything at this point." He chided himself as he rounded the corner and made for the homeroom door.
The classroom was largely empty at the moment, with only a small number of students in there seats already. Ren didn't pay any of them much mind as he made his way in and found an empty desk. He chose a spot in the second row, second from the window, and set down his bag before leaning back in his chair. It wouldn't be long before the instructor showed up and he could officially start his new life.

Aoi was looking through her sheets of paper as she walked down the hallway. Today she had to talk to all the classes about expectations that U.A. High School has for it's students. It was one of those annoying jobs that no one wanted to do but Aoi was volunteered for said job because she apparently was the most charismatic. She really did not understand where people kept getting that impression. Maybe she was just too nice? Then again, she had scared several students when she started using her disappointed voice. Counting down the rooms, she went to the one on the end of the hallway. 1-A? Right. Shaking her head, she pushed the door open. Throwing the papers on the teacher's desk, she looked around the room. Some students have found the room. They weren't told what specific class they were in. That was still up to some of the staff's digressions. She made note of the girl resting her head on the desk and starring off to the distance.
Swinging a chair around, she sat down. At first, she did not want to talk. She wanted to see what the new students do when a teacher enters the room. She knew some other teachers might be coming as they want more than one opinion on what class the students should be assigned to. Pulling out a notebook from the stack of papers, she started taking a few notes for herself. This practice was weird but she does not really question what the school does. If the bosses think this works, she did not want to stir up feathers for no reason. Jotting a few notes down here and there, Aoi patiently waited for any questions from the students. For sure someone had a question.

Post by Akasu Naibun on Dec 18, 2018 21:27:11 GMT
So the spring holidays were over, and yet another new school year had begun. New students, new accidents, new injuries, a whole new flood of secrets to be poured into him and dissolved. Yes, it sounded like just another year for Akasu Naibun. He took a deep breath, pulling out a pouch of vitamin supplement jelly from a plastic bag that he had acquired from the convenience store on the way to school, emptying it in 30 seconds (like the advert stated.) before following it up with an energy drink that he pretty much downed in one go. "Alright...let's do another school year, shall we?" He said to himself as he stretched, before taking off his suit jacket, hanging it up and instead pulling on his whitecoat, grabbing the list of classrooms that were having class assignments and looking at the first one. Class A. He'll visit that one first, as it was nearest as well as first on the pile. Every year, he did the rounds and introduced himself to the few hundred odd kids, reminding them exactly why they should think twice before getting hurt seriously enough to need to have to rely on his quirk. Ofcourse, he still always ended up having to use it (specially in events like the sports festival, where the kids really pushed themselves a little too far, though he guessed their motivation was quite cute.) and it meant he had a unwanted log of every teenage secret going, though he tried his best to forget them all for his own sake. "Good morning." He said as he opened the door to 1-A, ah it seemed like it was Miss Sato doing the initiation for this room. He gave a small bow of the head to the other teacher, walking over to her and standing there, flicking through the list of students who were meant to be here. As usual, he could see several pro family names dotted around the list, he couldn't say he wasn't curious as to what this year's first years were like.

Post by Ryuusei Himura on Dec 18, 2018 23:48:36 GMT
Feet echoing through the busy halls, Ryuusei's aura caught the eye of most newcomers. He was tall and had a confident demeanor which caused most students to step out of his way as he passed them by. His sharp eyes were even more focused than usual as he made his way toward his destination. It hadn't taken him very long to reach that place of which he was heading and once he did he stood at the doorway in the back of the class for a second as his gaze began to sweep through the room. The room had been just about half filled to capacity and there were several students already on the move to form their little cliques. The students who had been chatting amongst themselves didn't cease in their conversations but they did take notice of older gentleman who seemed to be searching for something. The talking pressed on at least until the man's eyes lit up and he marched straight into the room and moved behind a certain someone. The casual conversations turned into hushed whispers as the new students eyes curiously watched the man. Unlike their teacher who was a well known hero, the students had no clue why an upperclassmen was currently moving about their room. All their questions would soon be answered however as the man's stoic demeanor near vanished. "Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.~" Ryuu yelled with a smile as his arms enveloped the girl from behind. He'd give her a rather hearty hug before releasing her and smiling confidently behind her. Given the girl's nature, he wasn't surprised that she was sitting by herself but given that she was his sister, this wasn't something he could just let carry on. "What are you doing sitting here by yourself you silly billy.~""All your classmates are probably dying to meet you!" Ryuu said as cast a friendly smile to the bewildered kids around the girl. "I'm sure if you went up and said hi to them they'd totally love ya the way I love ya sis!~""Like maybe that guy would want to meet ya!" Ryuu said pointing to a blonde boy sitting near the front of the room alone "Or that guy!~" Her brother would then point to another boy who seemed to be sitting quietly by himself near the first one he'd suggested. He'd picked those two on purpose due to the fact that they were probably of a reserved nature like his sister but in all honesty, anyone would be fine.
So long as they got her out of her shell even a little. Oh! And didn't date her! Because if they tried to do that Ryuusei would have to hurt them!
Badly!
Teehee.~
...
..
.
But even if she wasn't willing to be social then he'd continue to tease his lovable little sibling for as long as he could!~
Not out of malice of course!
But because he loved to see the girl get flustered!~
It was adorable!!!!

Post by Atsuko Hiyake on Dec 19, 2018 21:46:30 GMT
Hiyake strode into the classroom, her posture showing confidence, her white costume glimmering slightly in the slight. It would have been an impressive display if it were anyone else. Instead, she had her cape draped around her shoulders like a blanket, a t-shirt worn over top of her costume with "too hot to handle" written in bright red, and she was gnawing on what looked like a cheap microwave burrito that hadn't even been given the chance to thaw. She was mostly poking around, trying to get a pulse on this year's students. It seemed two of the other teachers, Sato and Naibun, were already in this room. Naibun was probably dreading another year of reckless hero students. Hiyake, on the other hand, was impatient for the rumbling to start.
"Man, lookit all these lil guys," she said around a bite of crunchy frozen probably-burrito. "Itty bitty baby students, fresh from the enty exams, ready for some thrilling adventures and a whole lot of as—uh, 'butt' kicking." Was she talking to the other teachers? To herself? To the students in a weird roundabout way? She was mostly just thinking out loud, honestly. A few of the faces were vaguely familiar. She was certain she'd worked with a handful of these kid's parents before, but there were plenty of complete wildcards, either from families without heroes or small-time heroes she hadn't heard of. Tucking the half-eaten burrito in a pocket on her costume that looked like it was very much not intended for that purpose, she gave the students a friendly grin, posting up against the wall to watch them mill about and settle in.

Fu watched as some teachers walked into the room. They looked curious to say the least. She never paid attention when her parents went to the hero parties and dragged her along. They looked familiar from TV or the entrance exam or even from the parties Fu occasionally went to with her parents. It was an interesting time seeing all those heroes in front of her. Being in front of pro heroes did not bother her before but today it seemed to bother her. Maybe because she was worried about messing up her reputation in front of the pro heroes. She remembered reading somewhere that reputation is also important for a pro hero. She was about to sit up when a very familiar voice made her shout.
It was her brother. He suddenly appeared and was making a commotion. "Could have he waited?" Fu thought, raising her head. She wanted to say something, but she just blushed instead. She loved her brother but he could be a bit much every once and a while. Giving him a small smile, she muttered "Onii-chan...You know I'm not like that. Aren't you supposed to get some of my stuff?". She spoke quietly, hopefully indicating to her brother that she did not want him shouting about in the classroom.
Looking around, she noticed the teachers looking at the students. Were they expecting the students to ask questions of them or were they waiting for them to stop talking. "Ryuu, I thought we were m-meeting for unpacking my room?"

"Oh!" Raphael blinked to himself as some lyrics came to him. Pulling out a small notebook from the inner breast pocket of his uniform jacket, he reached for a pen from his pencil case inside his bag by his feet. "Senti...men...tal..." He was mumbling to himself as he wrote, before a loud yell cut across the room through the general murmur of people talking, making Raphael jump slightly in his seat and look round, locating the source of the voice. It was coming from a boy who looked like he was probably a second or third year, his long limbs draped around a younger girl who looked somewhere in between mortified and happy. From the exchange, he assumed they were siblings. When he straightened up, Raphael noted he was incredibly tall- well, in his opinion anyway. Saying that, it probably was just because he himself was so short... he clearly took his mother's genetics and not his father's, as if he was only this tall now, there was little hope he was going to shoot up 40cm in the next few years... His lavender eyes went up to the older boy's aura, the mantle of colour that softly pulsed out of his body, it was... an odd colour. Some shade of purple, more closer to a violet but...tinged with smoky tones. It didn't match the outward confident, happy, almost over enthusiastic display the upperclassman was displaying, which made the blonde wonder offhandedly what was going through the black haired teen's mind. Not that he probably should be prying into other people's thoughts. He was well aware that was intrusive and a habit he should really learn to block out. His thoughts were interrupted when somehow, the loud conversation taking place was suddenly thrown in his direction. "M... me??" Raphael managed to utter out, blinking several times. Thankfully, the boy seemed to move his attention on to someone behind him and he awkwardly bowed to the younger girl when their eyes met, before turning his head to look at who was being spoken about next, a blonde boy with a yellow scarf tied over his slightly open school shirt. He realised he was sort of staring, and gave a small smile and bowed to the other possible classmate when their eyes met also. He paused- he could swear he recognised this boy, those sparkling gold eyes... Then again, he had met a lot of people in his life so maybe, he was just confused... He noticed sometime while he was daydreaming two teachers had entered, he wondered if any of them were going to be his homeroom teacher before another woman came charging into the room. She had an almost overwhelming aura of bright orange radiating out of her like sunlight. Whatever it was about, she seemed... happy about something. Actually, studying her more carefully, was that...her hero costume she was wearing under the t-shirt? Oh...that jogged his memory a little more. That was the lady he had met a few times before when he was younger. Sunstorm-san. She had always been nice to him, though he had grown a considerable amount so he doubted she would remember or recognise him. He didn't know she was a teacher here... well, admittedly, he didn't know who was a teacher here full stop.

Post by Ren Wolff on Dec 20, 2018 22:34:18 GMT
Ren tilted his chair back as he idly swept his gaze back and forth across the class room. More and more people continued to pour in from the hall, quickly filling the interior with all manner of students. He preoccupied himself from his worries by trying to guess what sort of quirks the new arrivals had, not that he actually had much to go on for those without mutations. A girl that came in wearing sunglasses could probably shoot lightning out of her eyes, the guy behind her with all sorts of rings on his hands would likely have powers of magnetism, and tiny kid beside him was clearly going to turn into some sort of huge cat monster.
As amusing as his completely random decisions were however, the game quickly came to a halt a when someone entering the room caught his eye. A woman with vibrant red hair, clearly older than everyone else in the room, moved over to the desk at the front of the room before unloading a stack of papers. Ren knew he recognized the face, but it took a second of straining his knowledge of heroes before he could produce a name. 'That's.... Tranquility, right? She used to be a pretty big name around here... Is she one of the teachers?' That did make sense, who better to teach new heroes than former pros after all.
A moment later another teacher came in and greeted the room, this one a man. Before Ren could place his identity though, a sudden disturbance behind him grabbed the attention of most of the room. Tilting his chair a little further, the boy bent his neck back and looked at the scene from an upside down perspective. At first it just looked like one of the girls was being accosted by an upperclassman, but the boy's rather loud voice quickly revealed they were in fact siblings. The display brought a smile to Ren's face and he soon found himself thinking about his own sister's attempts to embarrass him. She was a senior at Shiketsu now, and it occurred to him that he could have had a similar meeting if he'd applied there instead. Then again, her presence was one of the main reasons why that hadn't been an option.
Wait, was that guy pointing at him?
Seeing that the girl's face was already bright red with embarrassment, Ren just gave a smile and small wave before returning to his own thoughts. That was the plan anyway, but as the boy swung forward again he was greeted by another face staring at him, one that he recognized. Raphael Seraphine, the poster child for pro hero families. They'd met on a handful of occasions when he'd been dragged along to parties with his family. For the briefest of moments Ren froze, he didn't have any problems with Raphael, but a familiar face was the last thing he wanted to see right now. Somehow he managed to keep the panic from showing, and the other boy seemed to turn away without recognizing him, but not before the air around him had been cooled by a degree or two.
With an inaudible sigh of relief, Ren brought his chair back to rest and resisted the urge to immediately put his head down and hide. That was just his luck, running into someone that knew him instantly. Sure, he looked a lot different than he used to, but that didn't make it any less nerve wracking. Another teacher entered the room, this one far more eccentric than the other two, but Ren didn't pay much attention this time, instead focusing his energy on regaining his cool, as well as silently praying that he and Raphael wouldn't be in the same class.

Post by Aoi Sato on Dec 20, 2018 23:43:00 GMT
Aoi kept keen observations of the room, taking notes of every student that entered, no matter how minor they were. One of the guys had a hunch back. One of the girls had a birth mark on her cheek. There were some other observations she made, mostly the girl from before and two boys. The girl seemed disinterested in the whole social engagement that was happening. "Introvert or shy?" Aoi wrote down, taking another look at the girl. Shaking her head, she noted that the girl needed some work. Next was a boy that was lost in his thoughts. He seemed to be spaced out or lost in thought. This was similar to the other boy but that boy seemed to be taking mental notes about his classmates. Aoi assumed this because he was at least moving bit. Taking more notes on some of the other students, she looked up at a familiar voice.
Smiling, she gave a small bow of her head towards the other teacher. She liked Akasu in his own dorky way. He seemed like the kinda guy that would be fun to hang out with after you break his socially awkward shell. "Good Morning, Naibun-san. Good to see you." Aoi looked around to see if there were any reactions to the new teacher entering the room. Sadly, there were none to note for her to really write down. There were some reactions to the sudden rise in volume as a older student entered the room. Rolling her eyes, she watched as Ryuusei Himura embrace his sister. Taking note that it was the same girl that was not talkative, she chuckled a bit to herself. "Guess he has all of the energy of the family." Aoi was about to tell him to keep it down when another staff member entered the classroom.
Ah yes, Atsuko. Atsuko was the complete opposite of Akasu, at least in Aoi's mind. Aoi often took her words as Atsuko just thinking aloud. Giving her fellow teacher a friendly wave, she threw her notebook on the desk. Getting up from her chair, she decided to stand in front of the desk. Taking a deep breath, she started talking in a rather carrying voice. She loved being a choir student.
"Well, if Ryuusei is done embarrassing his sister we can start. I'm sure your sister wants to introduce herself rather than you doing it for her." Aoi grinned a bit before adding, "You're welcome to introduce everyone else though if you want to introduce her." Looking around, she saw some of the students snicker.
"So, I am Aoi Sato. Some might know me as Tranquility. You may call me Sato-sensei or just sensei. I am a hero instructor here at U.A. and specialize in teaching combat skills outside of quirk. I am also an exam instructor. I also occasionally teach some general studies courses. All of you, outside of Ryuusei, are here because you have been assigned to the class of 1-A. Before I continue about all expectations for you at U.A., I'll let the other instructors introduce themselves. Then it will be your turn. You will be with these people until you graduate." Aoi paused before grinning, and adding
"This is if you don't flunk out or drop out."

Post by Ryuga Hoden on Dec 21, 2018 0:01:00 GMT
Hands filled already by a book, and a ball of rice, Ryuga had found herself quietly walking down the hall. Having had missed breakfast after Aisuru helped her moved in, he gave her one last cooked meal by him before leaving her, and from here on in, Ryuga would hit the ground running. Studying as hard as ever, if not more. Her eyes trailed over every word, reading it not once, twice, or three times, but a total of four times to sink it all in. "Heroes of this day and age... huh. Fascinating." she took a bite of her rice-ball, and continued forward, up some stairs, and through the busy halls, making sure to at least look up periodically to see where in the hell she was walking. Because if she ran into someone, that wouldn't exactly be great for first impressions. No, she had to be careful. Responsible multi-tasking. Like Kokoro. How was she these days...? To imagine she had modeled her very personality after her. To be the very model of a modern major paragon. Hm. That sounded odd, but it wasn't wrong. Right. She was looking for her classroom. She closed her book, as she looked up to the signs. "1-A... 1-A... 1-A..." her orange globes looked past every locker, past every person, her footwork keeping her from any collisions, until finally, she reached the sign. "Alright. I'm here." Taking her hand and sliding it in the door handle, she pulled it to the side, and entered the room, taking in the immediate surroundings. Teachers, students. Two students looking like siblings (though one looked older. A senpai). Two blonde males that made her crazy, wild dyed streaks look normalized, and of course, the three teachers. One male, two females. Ryuga quietly shut the door behind her, and as she looked inside for a moment, she gave that wholesome smile she learned to wear. Not too eager, not too lackadaisical, simply wholesome as she could make it. "Hello. Ryuga Hoden." she bowed her head to the class, with immediate introductions. She wanted to show her polite demeanor as soon as possible, and made her voice as gentle as she could make it. As she made her way to the window, she would look outside for a moment, the trees pink with the leaves of sakura. 'Like home.' She wasn't homesick, but Saga had trees like this back home too. Which made her wholesome smile wash away to a very pleased one. The only other female student here was the one by what must have been her brother. Ryuga had to admit, becoming friends with her was first priority, but she would settle for second fiddle with one of the two blonde boys. Well, she would anyways, if Tranquility didn't take center stage. Ryuga's orange gaze zipped over towards the teacher, and watched her make a speech. Aoi Sato, giving a spiel about how she taught combat courses, as well as general studies. Ryuga's eyes lit up, which meant she could go to Sato-sensei for some help with her cooldown timer on Dragonlung. The other two teachers would be important for Ryuga to come to know, and now she was regretting not talking to one when she could. But instead, moved her gaze past the tormented little sister and the boy known as Ryuusei, and to the other two teachers. Today was going to be a good day. Ryuga's UA Uniform

Post by Dr. Yori Shisutemu on Dec 21, 2018 0:41:54 GMT
Within a laboratory not too far away, beakers were flowing, and test tubes were being filled with colorful liquid. Sliding around in a swivel chair, zooming from tabletop to tabletop, black hair zoomed to and frou the room. Pale hands moved over test tubes, and beakers. Fingers tracing over the lines that depicted how filled they were. Finally, as a red and purple liquid were mixed into a single test tube, it came out green.
Blue eyes opened wide, and looking at the test tube. The scruffy face of Doctor Yori seemed to light up, as he went to sniff the tube. "Ah... smells of green apples." He spoke, an older, gruffer voice. Thinking for a moment, he gave a shrug, and downed the liquid. "Tastes like green apples too. The wonders of children's chemistry!" the doctor spoke, quickly moving the remaining beakers, pouring them all down the sink. As he went to place the remaining beakers inside of a box labeled 'CHEMISTRY FOR KIDS!', he closed it up, and put it inside of a briefcase filled with what must be a power gauntlet a gamer might use for controlling a game with just their hand.
Why had he hated chemistry all this time?
Moving towards the windows, Yori blinked, and looked outside. "Another all nighter." he yawned loudly. The sakura trees were blooming. To think, only yesterday, snow was falling upon their peaceful little city. Now, the sakura trees were blooming. Maybe he was a few days, or months off, but with how deadly focused he was over the holidays, time meant as little for him, as it did a handless clock.
Getting out of the lab, he closed and locked the doors behind him, walking down the hall, and noticing an overabundance of children walking around. Immediately, his demeanor changed from one of honest intrigue to one of pain. Because this year was the worst one. It reminded him of his failures to not see her walking through these halls, to make friends, to become his prodigy.
No rest for the criminally insane.
Smiling for Yori was a facade he was horrible at. Not because he was faking it, but because hhis smiles were horrifying. Students would clear the way for Doctor Shisutemu, and as he would make his way to the classrooms, a lovely little idea forged in his mind. Removing the power gauntlet from his briefcase, he plugged himself into the gauntlet.
"BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!~" he would pose in a manner he saw off a show he binged a few nights prior. From the other side of the door, he scared everyone around him, students moving an extra one to twenty feet away from Yori. He opened the door to the 1-A classroom. "WELCOME CHILDREN!~ I AM THE ILLLUSTRIO-"
And then he burped, his pose ruined completely, and his entire act ruined in a single burp. Damn. Was this the work of the damned green apple concoction?! CURSES! CHILDREN'S CHEMISTRY HAS BITTEN HIM ON THE ASS AGAIN AFTER TWENTY YEARS!

Oh, great! Yori was here, so now Hiyake would seem normal by comparison, probably. Or probably not, the school was plenty big enough for more than one weird teacher. Snapping back to attention as Aoi made introductions, she bit back a chuckle. Aoi's introduction was simple and purposeful enough, but the mention of flunking and dropping out was an important reminder for these kids. Being a hero wasn't going to be easy. In fact, getting that far could be an absolute nightmare of training.
"My name is Hiyake Atsuko. Call me sensei, or by my hero name—Sunstorm!" she said, brushing her cape off her shoulders so it actually hung down rather than being used as a blanket. "I work for the school as head of hero studies. Quirk training, emergency protocol, and professional ass-kickery are all under my purview. If anyone feels like they could use some extra help, when I'm not teaching classes or out fighting crime, I'd be happy to give you each some one-on-one lessons! It'll be tones of fun!" Well, not 'fun,' exactly, unless you considered running one-hundred laps in the blazing hot sun as a warmup to be fun. The teacher she'd studied under during her time at U.A. had been much more serious, but even if she hadn't inherited that, she did take pleasure in punishingly difficult training exercises. She took a seat on top of the desk at the front of the room, kicking her legs absently as she waited for someone else to go next.

So this is it. U.A. High. I can't believe I'm actually here.
One thing Isamu hadn't realized was just how huge the grounds would be. He had read the brochures and studied the maps, but nothing ever really prepared you for being inside a space. Especially when you only stood two and a half feet tall despite all your best efforts. There was also no way to prepare for the massive amounts of new scents and sounds reaching his nose and ears. Some part of him just wanted to run around smelling all of the things, and it was tempting to give into the instinct a little bit. But he knew that was just nerves, a combination of first-day jitters and... okay, more instincts warning him to try and keep himself safe in his new surroundings.
He climbed up onto a statue to survey his surroundings, double checking the map on his phone before leaping down to the ground and setting off again. Class 1-A, 1-A... He'd have to sit down and draw up some of his own maps. Or maybe bring his computer guantlet next time so he wouldn't have to keep stopping to pull out his phone every few steps.
Thankfully everyone seemed too focused looking for their own classrooms to pay much attention to him, and once he was inside the building he kept to the walls and corners, craning his headd around to search for the sign through the forests of tall people milling about. Finally, he found his classroom and paused outside it, taking a moment to adjust his tie and smooth down his fur. First impresions would be key. Especially if he didn't want certain... activities coming back to haunt him.
Back straight. Ears up. Hackles down. Isamu pulled open the door and stepped inside, eyes scanning over those already gathered. If any of the teachers noticed his entry he gave a polite bow and a "Good morning", but otherwise he snagged a seat as close to the front and center of class as he could, taking out his laptop to take notes and using his backpack for a booster seat just as the teachers bagan their introductions.
