Wisp watched Misao's demeanor change before him, eyes taking on a glow as the girl's whole body seemed to tense. Good, so she could read the change in atmosphere after all. He gave her the faintest of nods of recognition and then finally turned around to face his colleague with his hardened gaze. Yep, this guy looked just as sketchy as ever, how the hell did he ever manage to pass as a normal person out here? Especially with that thing following him around. He was in the process of explaining his trip to the city while the teen looked him up and down and casually slipped his hands into his coat pockets. He just happened to need to pick up a few things today of all days? Of course he did. And in this particular alleyway as well. Obviously. Fate really just was a bitch like that, wasn't she? Oh well, there was no use crying about it now...
"Yeah, figured I'd take a page from your book, though I suppose you're on that job full time, aren't you? Gotta say, pay's a lot better than I expected honestly." He answered the jab with one of his own in a perfectly casual tone. There was an obvious tension that hung in the air in spite of the fact that they were supposed to be comrades of a sort... well, associates was probably a better term for the relationship actually, and it was obvious enough that neither of them was particularly happy with this chance meeting. As irritating as the whole situation was however, Wisp wasn't showing it outwardly at all, just immediately slipping back into the banter he'd grown accustomed to. That being said, as the violet-haired man turned his attention to the girl beside him and Wisp felt a tug on his coat from behind, the visage became slightly harder to maintain. The gesture was something that he might have expected from Iris, and though he managed to keep his expression calm and collected, the distraction caused him to chance a look back over his shoulder and prevented him from answering the Marionettist's question before Misao blurted out her own response.
You know, now that he actually knew who she was talking about, the idea of anyone sincerely referring to Revenant as 'onii-chan' was so out of place that it couldn't help but draw an amused smile and a shake of the head. Luckily the girl was behind him so she couldn't see the expression, but she would see the shrug that followed a moment later. "Yeah, I guess that about sums it up, doesn't it? The little lady wants to meet the prince, and with a pitch like that, how can you not be curious?" The fact that he was strongly against the meeting was neither here nor there at this point, wasn't like there was any going back now, especially since the girl had spoken up herself. "So where is his royal highness anyway? Is he here with you or did you leave him back in Namba?"
