Jiko expresses a resolutely noble personality, so much so that it can be hard to find noticeable flaws in it. He's gentle, kindhearted and selfless. He is also resolute, with a firm knowledge of right and wrong and an ability to act decisively in a crisis. He has a strong sense of humanitarianism that never wavers.
Jiko has been defined by his courage and righteousness. He has always been intolerant towards injustice and abuses of power. Jiko grew up in a small two bedroom apartment in Osaka, Japan - Honmachi district, with his parents Elizabeth De'Vante (Magnagirl) and Jishi Uzuki (Static Shell). His parents were low to mid level pro hero's that had formed a partnership to try and make it on their own as a small time hero agency - Fulminatus. They became known for their combo moves using Magnagirl's magnetism powers and Static Shells control over static electricity to catch and subdue small time criminals and villains. Jiko was brought up right into the hero life at an early age, so that he could help his parents with office work while they were out on patrol or responding to requests. This helped to instill in him quite early that no work is too beneath oneself if its to help someone else.
His parents quirks had combined in him letting him generate a visible electric field on top of his skin that gives him the ability to use electromagnetism and static discharges from his own body, however he causes his limbs to become numb and unmovable over time as he uses his quirk. After his quirk activated however he lost faith in his ability to ever be a hero let alone support anyone else, because as a child the time it took to become paralyzed was so short and the recovery time was so severe that he thought he would never be able to be a hero like his parents.
Kids at school bullied him for his "stupid" quirk and physically abused him at times, driving him to take self defense classes to stand up to those that had hurt him.

"Galvaknight huh... Sure but I don't know what I can say about him that hasn't already been said before. He's a champion of those that cannot defend themselves. Even after making it big he still took the time to serve his old community in Honmachi!"
"We all know that Sheffield, how about something to do with his thought process, you were close you must have some insights."
"I can't speak to what actually goes through his mind... but his actions show that he is a hero that truly cares and believes in justice for all, no matter the personal cost to himself. He is the embodiment of what a true hero means through and through."
"What can you tell me about his methodology?"
"Oh jeez... Well Galv has a certain um way of doing things that can only be explained as purposefully accidental. I mean don't get me wrong he always does everything he can to save the day, but he is more of a reactive guy then a proactive guy. However, he also never gives up and will keep going to his own detriment to try and do as much good as he can before he can't."
"One last question Sheffield, do you think Galvaknight has what it takes to teach and mold students at UA?"
"I do. I really do Jun. Galv wants nothing more then to make the next generation stronger with each successful wave. He believes that every hero should raise up those that come after them, as that is the only way to stem the tide."
