Mission title: Delinquent Control Faction: Hero Student Min. required character rank: D- Assigned by: Pleiades Hero Agency Mission start area: Musutafu Participant number: 3 Details: Two interns from UA High investigated an assault against a citizen. There have been dozens of similar cases, along with dozens of petty theft cases linked to a single name: Akuma. Their group has been earning a name for themselves in recent months. While mostly tied to light vandalism and petty theft, they have also been assaulting people, putting them into the hospital to varying degrees, but never killed anyone. His quirk is unknown, and tends to make his bases in warehouses. Caution is advised, as you are likely to face his grunts. UA students should still be able to do this mission no problem. Capturing Akuma and any second in commands is priority number one. This mission is captured enabled. This mission is PCs VS staff controlled PCs and NPCs Out of character notes: Akuma and Vanish are both C+ while Oni (npc) is C-. Everyone else are no name grunts that you can knock out with ease. Keep this in mind when signing up and RPing. Sign up either by posting or telling me in discord. Participants are below, thread will start no later than one week after last sign up. Participants: Daiki Satou, Romi Moon, Koji Tatsumi VS Akuma, Vanish, Oni [NPC] - Staff Jun GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL! (and thank you for taking part in the first mission of our site ;n;)
(ooc note: Oni/Shouta Kuga will be under Kyou/Akuma.) A trio of students were given the details about Akuma. Something found out just before the UA students got the mission info. was that Akuma was involved in a kidnapping some time ago in Osaka. Still, the three students seem capable enough to handle some delinquents armed with knives at the most. Maybe the occasional baseball bat. The warehouse the demon themed thug was hiding was in a near all abandoned section of warehouses. Only reason they even caught on to the group was due to suspicious power surges. The three were to meet several blocks away from the location. Since the group was mostly active at night, that was when the attack was to occur. They were all given passes to come back long after curfew if it took that long, assuming they all lived in the dorms, and were given full permission to use their quirks. The objective was to capture Akuma and any of their lieutenants. ~Akuma Time~ Kyou walked into the security room to find Asahi and Shouta in their respective costumes/masks looking at the computer screen. They were already in the middle of leaving the location, but something must have happened to be called in like this. Shouta spoke up, his voice modulating to disguise it. "We have company. I'm going through databases to find out who they are. But they're hero students, that's for sure. I'm starting with UA, since they're known for this kind of thing. What should we do?""Send Hina and her group first as a test. Set up the main area for me. The loading dock is Vanish's. You stay here. If they stick together, then we'll fight in the main area, and Vanish can come back me up. Aside from that, Group 1 and 5 can get behind them while they have Hina in front of them, that should buy some time to find out who they are and give appropriate matches. We'll go from there." He still haven't had a challenge. The situation with Hyousuke and Asahi with Sachi and Hina was amusing, but he still never fought there. He hoped this batch wasn't as disappointing as Hyousuke had been. If so, maybe he should mentor some hero wannabe and get them inside UA... ~Grunt Time~ Hina was called Big Beef. Namely due to the fact she was over eight feet tall with huge muscles. And her quirk didn't just include massive strength and size, but also a limited regeneration. But that was more conscious and VERY hard on her. Her and her five person group walked towards where there were intruders. From behind those intruders were two other groups, one consisting of eight people, and the other of seven people, they aimed to surround the group. And pummel them.

[attr="class","sinner"] [attr="class","sinner1"] [attr="class","sinback"] [attr="class","sinnert"] An offer came in some time ago for Daiki. A short coop opportunity to test where he was at in his Hero Training. Not something that commonly happens with first years, but after the UA attack incident word had gotten around that this kid had some serious metal, having blasted Nidhogg into a wall and flat out knocked him out in a single punch. Granted people recognized that he was set up to do it, but the sheer display of power still brought eyes over his way. Specifically it was the Pleiades Hero Agency that had contacted him three days prior. The day after he accepted the offer his classes were substituted for coop, UA working in tandem with the Hero Agency for what would be a fruitful hands on experience. Getting familiar with the Heroes, learning the ropes and actually doing Hero work alongside a Hero! It was totally awesome, and Daiki looked to be the happiest kid alive. Constantly smiling; not some sly proud smile but genuine happiness. Mind you, Pleiades Hero Agency was one of hundreds across Japan. Likely the work he did up until the assigned task was mostly observation with the occasional hand in arresting a Villain that the Hero he was accompanying had dealt with. That's why after some time doing coop he was surprised to hear alongside two other students doing their coop he would be set out to his own devices to take down some kind of Gang? Organization? Thankfully the other two were third years, for if he lacked anything it was experience. He had a leg up with the UA attack on some of the realities of a battle which would help him in the moment, but proactively going out and enacting justice was a different story. So came the night after he'd gotten his temporary curfew task for the mission that he would be doing this. Those working alongside him were Romi Moon and Koji Tatsumi. The first he was pretty sure he had met that night the third years invaded their kitchen while as soon as he'd seen Kojo at some point during their shared coop, he'd have correlated the appearance to Yggdrasil in the student chat, giving him some inside as to not just what he looked like but who he was as a person. Truly, he was humbled to be given the opportunity to not only work in a professional environment so early in his schooling but additionally he was excited to be able to be in the same position his seniors were. He'd pay careful attentions to what they did to get a cheating head start on classes that might on their way in subsequent years. Arranging a meeting point was already done for them by the Hero Agency which was convenient. That's why when he arrived there for there to be nobody at first he just raised a brow. Checked his phone for the location, and then looked up again almost cross-eyed in confusion. No doubt the other two would be quick to show up within the minute. Or maybe they'd be late, but the Villains really weren't trying to be discrete. Regardless of what the case might have been with his seniors the wretched Villains had made a move. First it was just a hulking woman and like five guys. They looked the part of quantity over quality but assumptions are probably what screw people over in these situations. Take things slow and easy. That was the initial plan anyways before he heard footsteps on two different sides of himself. Not one set, lots. In total there was another group of eight haphazardly dressed thugs and a final group of seven in the same sort of dishevelled wear associated with guys just shooting the crap and looking for trouble. Taking things slow wouldn't... Necessarily get them out of this bind. Surrounded on three sides it wouldn't take much time for them to be completely engulfed in sheer numbers. Before they could spread out and secure a perimeter he needed to take action. Lowering his stands, a yellow flare of energy raced around his body, sparks coming off from his form. Maybe a lightning quirk if he'd let that one set in, but after a moment it became abundantly apparent that it was more than that or something else all together. Bursting off into a blaze of speed colors shifted from yellow to green to blue and finally to an aqua color. Dashing at about fourty miles an hour the first year got right to business. He wasn't going to let them get surrounded. Villains should never succeed in their foul plots. People twisted by problems they never got resolution too. Though in the moment there was no problem solving of that calibre, just a solution to the attack against him. Rubble kicked up in his path, rocks sliding across the cement at their feet. A hand dragging in his wake he looked to take on the smallest group- well, not technically. 'Big Beef' counted as like five people on her own, so his target was actually the group with seven. The intention was to plow through the weakest barrier in order to get to the other side and dissolve the attempt to enclose around them. His sheer speed and athletic prowess making him a blur to the normal eye. Upon getting close within arms length he dashed to the side and attempted to punch one of the thugs in the gut to send them flying. Following that with that one out of the way he'd attempt to dash with astounding acceleration straight into the thug that was behind him in order to plow through the wave and loosen it up a bit. Merely an attempt, but if he was successful he'd be on their backside now, outside of their enclosing circle bouncing between both feet. His expression? A wide, proud smile. It was Romi’s neighbourhood.[break][break] A few street-corners away, within an aged two-bedroom apartment, both of his mothers were probably settling down for dinner.[break][break] Romi suspected that was what had influenced his mentor to assign him to a three-man team tasked by Pleiades to clear Akuma out, not just for further experience. Romi had a stake in being successful, in keeping the filth away from his family and his neighbours. In making an effort to work cohesively in a team – he still struggled with the team-work concept.[break][break] Although, he had been told that his classmate Koji Tatsumi was part of the team. If it was Koji, Romi felt a little less … apprehensive about co-operation, the tree had a few odd qualities but he’d never made Romi feel like knocking heads with him before. Daiki Satou, however, Romi knew very little about him.[break][break] A first-year, the kid didn’t have a costume, and maybe that was why he didn’t seem to immediately notice Romi, who was garbed in his.[break][break] Black, a solid and unyielding spread of the shade, from the steel-caps of his foots to the hood that cast his face into shadow, hiding away his eye-catching pink hair. It was a tight-fitting and all-enclosing suit, only his black-painted fingernails and the bright-blue of his eyes remained unobscured. A skull-printed face-mask covered the lower-half of Romi’s face. It was a polar-opposite style to the bright-colours and flashy design of Romi’s usual attire, how he had looked that long-past night, hanging out in the first-year dorm-kitchen where Daiki had first met him.[break][break] The bone-print along Romi’s mask was set into a scowl as a hulking behemoth of a woman emerged from shadows up-ahead, flanked by five others.[break][break] The three of them were still out-of-sight from the warehouse that intel stated Akuma was lurking within, and yet muscle already knew where they were, had been sent out to meet them. There were eyes upon them, electronic or a quirk or otherwise.[break][break] Romi would have shared as much, warned Daiki, both the kid didn’t waste a moment in reacting, in activating his quirk in a flashy wash of colourful lights and then speed. Lashing out at one of the lurking groups attempting to cage the three from behind.[break][break] Without a word said to either Romi or Koji.[break][break] Trying to suppress an irritated sigh, the print across Romi’s mask shifted from a scowl to a tight, displeased line.[break][break] He hated team-work. [break][break] ”Their boss has his eyes on us.” Since Koji hadn’t seemed to act on impulse as Daiki had done, Romi shared his observation with him, adding, ”just something to keep in mind.” Daiki’s efforts were focused upon seven, but that still left thirteen others and the hulking woman still advancing, and getting closer. ”I’ll take whoever you don’t want to deal with,” he told Koji.[break][break] It would have surprised Romi if any quirkless occupied their minion ranks, but it was the woman who he suspected would be the most troublesome. She was obscenely tall, built like a tank, and Romi felt it was a safe guess to assume that her quirk was probably a physically-themed one.[break][break] But so too was his, and so too was Koji’s. Now this was something that she did not expect to come her way any time soon, especially not someone that put the front that she did. Indeed, a vapid girly girl who worried more about fashion than anything else would definitely not be the first choice for this kind of assignment. Even if they were juts delinquents, a more seasoned student would be chosen for this, which could make one wonder just why they chose Saori of all people to join.[break][break]
However, for all her typical gyaru attitudes, she was still one of the most physical people in class 1-A. Barring the obvious one that outclassed her in physique at this point in time, who had also been chosen for this mission alongside a 3-A student called Romi. If she were completely honest with herself, she felt rather outclassed by these two: Daiki was the athletic star of 1-A and Romi was a 3-A student, obviously more experienced than the likes of her.[break][break]
Still, that did not mean she had any intention of being left behind. She got some info on the Quirks of the other two, and they were both general enhancements to their physical attributes, automatically making said Quirks impressive ones. People often underestimated the ability of even a regular Quirkless boxer, let alone a martial artist with a Quirk that enhanced strength, speed, or both. Even her Quirk was one to look out for, one that not only enhanced general speed and agility, but also gave her lightning attributes to her attacks. Three melee-range physical fighters usually meant good synergy, but it’d have to be planned.[break][break]
She came with her suit, a skin-tight thing coloured in white and black, with red stripes and accents. It has a helmet to protect her against collisions, visor to keep her from being blinded by the sun, but more importantly, it was equipped with electrically powered rollerblades, working in tandem with her Quirk, she could move quickly and run circles around most people. She was hinging on this to give her an advantage in battle.[break][break]
However, this did not mean she wasn’t nervous. Her first assignment against goons that would have no qualms about beating her up if she gave them the chance, the adrenaline was already beginning to seep in even as she walked to the scene along with Romi. Their arrival was already noticed by the bosses, as Romi rightly pointed out, and was helped by Daiki’s complete disregard for subtlety. A nod as she looked around, seeing that they were being surrounded. On one side, this absolutely huge lady who she didn’t want to take on her own, the other side, two groups of thugs who she felt far more inclined to take out first. Even she knew that it was wiser to eliminate the weakest first.[break][break]
“Thanks for the warning, Moon-san.” She said, serious for once, “So like, I’m pretty fast but not as strong, so I’ll keep moving around to mess them up and make sure they can’t surround us. I’ll deal with the other eight, but I think it’s kinda a bad idea to go after the big lady until the rest are dealt with.” She said to Romi, low enough to the thugs wouldn’t hear, “Maybe you should help Daiki.”[break][break]
With that said, she breathed steadily, before picking up speed and approaching the group of eight. Rather than charging with brute force, she’d move in different patterns around the group, keeping them broken up as she made several strikes at them while keeping out of reach. If successful, she’d have softened up and disoriented the group, leaving them easy pickings if the other two decided to go after them.

Akuma and Oni both frowned. The one that bursted into action first was the large blond guy. Clearly a physical quirk with explosive speed and strength. The second one was more calm, even stated something that would be obvious if someone just stopped and think for a few seconds. The last one was a girl in a skin suit that had good agility. They couldn't tell if she was using a quirk or not, but she disrupted the third group's formation, softening them up with physical strikes. Looks like they were gonna save Big Beef and her group for last.
Still, it didn't take long for Oni to find something. "I got names, nothing about their abilities. Daiki Satou is the big blond with that powerful physical quirk. He along with some of his classmates teamed up against Ashiya, against the number 4 most wanted. Even beat him. Romi Moon is a third year...nothing much there. Didn't stand out obviously. Then there's Saori Kudou. Another first year, but nothing of note." Ashiya's name was met with distaste. The right bastard was the kind that he hated. Without knowing what kind of trouble he might get in, Kyou would have sent the screenshots of the villain chat to the police, anonymously of course.
Still, that Daiki guy was going to be the most difficult to deal with, so far from what they can tell. Kyou was the only one with the combat experience to deal with the guy, thanks to his many fights over the years, plus his more refined close combat skills. Hopefully, combined with an arena with him in mind, he could take the guy out. In a straight up fight, he might last, but he'd fall to Daiki. They watched closely at their opponents, see how quickly they can clean up their little ambush...and what they used.

The front of the warehouse was a small maze of offices and meeting rooms, with the upstairs being mostly for maintenance personal. Security was also on the second floor, but out by the legit warehouse section, and there were a few rooms along that side. The main warehouse area still had the conveyor belts, but there was also adhoc rails with plywood and OSB board attached, to create segments and "rooms." The place was littered with broken glass, nails, a few knives here and there, even blocks of 2x4 wood pieces. The place was all within his range of fifty yards. The cat walk was the only thing somewhat cleared, there was still a long nail here, a piece of glass there. Then behind that was a separate section for the loading docks. There was an abandoned semi-truck there, along with an abandoned car. Besides that, nothing of real note, a four foot "step from the loading dock proper to the ground, a few weeds, but otherwise desolate.

[attr="class","sinner"] [attr="class","sinner1"] [attr="class","sinback"] [attr="class","sinnert"] CRASH! The thug he had punched in the chest just moments below had accelerated towards a wall, colliding with the side of one of the shipping containers. Immediately there was an indentation as the guy fell forward and slack from the impact. At worst he'd have some sort of fracture, as the impact was distributed through his entire body making contact at one point as opposed to hitting it head-first or something. Next another thug had been sent cartwheeling through the air as Daiki tossed him aside to plow through the group. Flipping head over heels he landed far away from the rest of the group and while disoriented and bruised up, was still in the fight. Standing behind the group of them now, the moment almost played out in his head. Yet a wisdom beyond his age warned him that when something is too easy, there's a reason for it. He remembered the conversation he had with Isamu Suzuki, a classmate of his that gave him valuable intelligence on Akuma and his operation. Clever to the bitter end. It was no surprise that the head honcho hadn't shown his face, he'd do it when it was opportune. When the cards were to his advantage and right now since his quirk wasn't an obvious physical one, him being there didn't add much to their chances. In fact, he might just be nothing more than another one of the ragtag goons in terms of physical capacity. Now fully aware of the idea of keeping checks on what was behind him; amplified because of just how many individuals were in this brawl leaving opportunity to flank at any point in time, Daiki made his next play. The Aqua bio-luminescence and flickering energy cooled to a darker blue. Was he shifting attack modes? What it meant wasn't necessarily certain, but his movements were noticeably slower. Still significantly ahead of what a Human should be able to do, but in comparison to the aqua glow before, it was incomparable. Still, it gave him an overwhelming strength to combat the numbers. With a grin as every single one of the goons in that group turned to face him, a little disturbed that two of their allies had just literally gone flying and one was already out cold. They attacked. Five of them currently able to do so, charging forward with whatever they had. Baseball bats, knives, this and that. Nothing pleasant or honorable, but fighting Villains was for the most part rarely about honor. The first two closed in, one with a bat and another with a knife. Raising his forearm upwards he used it to block the force of the weapon. Given the thug didn't have a way to put more power into a swing, it smashed into Daiki's arm and stopped immediately upon impact. It was like smashing solid obsidian. In truth it still hurt, but it wasn't anything even remotely worrying, like a small insect bite dispersed over a large area. Brief and immediately moved past. It might leave a mark but that was about it. Then came the knife, a different weapon much more lethal than the first attack. Pushing himself into the figure with the baseball bat, the knife lunged passed him. With more than enough force to body check the bat-wielder, he raised his left leg to connect with the knife-wielders stomach. It went him flying overhead, sailing across the battlefield towards another group. He probably would harmlessly connect at best, it was the intimidation factor that held the most impact here. Two permanently out for the count, one recovering and another on the ground. That left three more attackers which followed in a split moment. One of them seemed to have brass knuckles, another was carrying what looked like a two by four in both hands while the last was a grizzly dude with not a wooden bat, but a metal one. The huge guy came in for an attack, though huge was relative. While some of the other thugs were average size, this guy was six two, exceeding the national average by a bit. Bringing the metal bat up and downwards, it was iconic of street fighting to instinctively go for the attacks that felt like they would hurt the most. Maybe that would be true, but they also took the longest to pull off, not to mention how telegraphed they were. Sidestepping the swing the guy right next to him with a two by four was cut short of an attempted swing when an efficient jab literally made him do a backflip, landing on the ground completely unconscious. That left the guy with brass knuckles. Though given their positioning the one with the metallic bat cut him off given Daiki's swift repositioning. Taking a moment to recollect himself and put some distance with a quick jump away from them. He scoured his surroundings, made sure to glance over his shoulder subtly. At any point this would become something much more than it appeared to be. He couldn't pinpoint determine when Akuma and his closest comrades would make their move. Not to mention he knew little to nothing about Oni and Vanish. The smallest group was a fraction of what it was, with a total of three guys down. Two others were bruised up and injured from the impacts they'd received. One of which was still getting up to his feet while the other was scrambling to pick up his weapon. Daiki kept an ear out towards his allies, taking into consideration any words they might share. However he'd done the most important thing and broken a hole out of the maw of the venus fly trap. With a grin on his face he'd brush a wrist to rub a bit of dirt from his face, kicked up from the fight so far. He seemed determined at least, and worryingly... In his element. It's safe to say he didn't hate the fighting itself.
