SECRET: | She is currently an active admin on a villain fansite. |
Kurisu is extremely prone to overreacting, blowing her emotions of out proportion. It's either immensely angry or very very happy. No emotion is ever small. Although her dramatic nature is harmless, and played up as a joke at first, it has led to her overthinking and causing herself to have constant mood swings. It's almost a nuisance, and she has quite a lot of switches that cause her to flip on a dime, with things as little as the sound of slurping food that cause her to become increasingly angry.
Unfortunately, she lacks a filter, and feels like she can just say whatever she want, despite if it will offend the person standing next to her. While she can hold her tongue, she doesn't exactly speak professionally. She has no awareness of social cues, and is a giant flirt. This is very bad for serious conversations.
Once Kurisu sets her mind to something, it becomes hard to steer her away from the path. she will let nothing come between her and her chosen goal... which is why when things do not go her way, she will spending days, weeks, or even months trying to acquire or achieve something. In this mindset, Kurisu will spend her time finding new ways to achieve those goals. She's a red-string conspiracy theorist when it comes to planning, and she has even went as far to thinking out how the results of her plans would affect the environment around her for years. Her planning often leads to new ideas that most people would not even consider. Mainly because they're so off-kilter and... most of the time, not very good. Outside of that, Kurisu has literally no long-term life goals. Just go with the flow.
While being used to having things handed to her on a silver platter (money, food, and even whatever else her heart desired), has paved the way for her way of "If I want it I'm going to get it NOW" mindset, the development of her obsessive personality might have changed it for the better. At least this way, she can seek it out herself other than having it handed to her. A hard change, but she's working towards it.
She considers herself quite a prankster, and her innovative planning skills don't stop at work-related schemes. Her master plan? Rube Goldberg machine of pranks. She is a bit devilish in her actions. It's arguable that her mischievous manner is what caused her to grow so enamored with the idea of villains in the first place, what with being a sheltered home-schooled teen for the majority of her life. It's almost as if she was urging herself to be rebellious.
She has respected her superiors from the get-go, but Kurisu sees no problem with pulling the wool over someones eyes or knocking them off their feet (figuratively or literally), even if they have similar aspirations to her.
Although she enjoys spending time outside, she prefers being inside on her computer 95% of the time. Playing MMOs, jumping from forum from forum... Kurisu lives online. Or at least, she tries to. She also enjoys parkour.

Why are you even reading this wiki page? Jeez, who let you have access to the internet? We should really start putting regulations on that. What you're looking at here is the PRIME SPECIMEN of the human species. Marachne, IN HER FINAL FORM, MAKING HER VILLAIN DEBUT FOR THE WORLD TO SEE! Er. Or maybe just this blog? Yeah, nobody really reads this except for like 6 people. Shoutout to you guys. Stop sending Red Bull in bulk to my PO box. Anyways, is there where I drop my super secret special backstory?! Great! Glad you wanna read it!
Kurisu Himei, born in her Fatherland, the beautiful Japan! Aged nineteen, blood type O! Adopted by my dear sweet mother, a family friend of my birth parents... name redacted for her of course. <3 She went to a super basic elementary school, was homeschooled during her teen years... blah blah blah. Boring stuff! YAWN!
When she was five years old, her quirk formed! It was super weird. Very slow process, but Kurisu's mother gave her whatever she wanted, so she was basically eating candy for dinner every night, because her cute child charm was no match for sweet mother~ That and... well, her mom noticed it was super weird that Kurisu wasn't turning into a hyper demon child whenever she had sugar! Why is this relevant? Oh, because one more Kurisu noticed that she had weeeeird bumps on her hips! Very weird, her mother thought she might have protuding bones! Guess you could put it like that. But, because Kurisu was eating sugar all the time 24/7, the process of quirk progression was increased. So a few days later, they weren't just bumps under the skin. Nope. What were they? THEY WERE STICKING OUT OF HER SKIN. LIKE LITTLE BONE SPIKES. Very weird, right?! Nah, it's super cool.
See, the more Kurisu aged, the larger they grew! It was a super hard quirk to explain school, but why does that matter? Kids are stupid anyways, not like explaining would've taught them anything! The other kids made a super bad realization when they realized the legs could be broken off, and more than once Kurisu had her precious extra limbs broken off by some rude little pricks. >_>
(A/N: Monologue-chan, why are you getting mad at the kids for snapping your legs off?)
That's really simple, Author-dono. Because KURISU HATED THEM. IT HAPPENED ALL THE TIME. So, Kurisu went home crying to mommy about her legs weren't gonna grow back, or grow uneven, or some menial stuff like that. Of course, her mom reassured her they'd grow back in due time, but Kurisu would have to keep going back to school. Kurisu did not like this idea.
So, Kurisu used her mom's ultimate weakness to her advantage (which was, having a cute daughter who loves her ;P) and got what she wanted. Homeschool. When Kurisu was fourteen, she began her homeschooling life... and her addiction to the internet life.
It was around this time that she realized heroes are super boring. Villains weren't any better, but at least they were KINDA INTERESTING... you know, some of them want complete destruction, some of them just wanna fend for themself... But heroes? Jeez, they're all the same, RIGHT?! Diversity is the best part about it, and every villain is different. Heroes on the other hand... >____>
See, prior to then, Kurisu had no access to the internet. But her dear mother got her a computer for school work... and oh boy. OH MAN. Did that cause something awful. Kurisu soon found solace in forums, anonymous chatrooms, and online video games. She gathered a tightknit group of fans across all three of these platforms, and eventually came to create this website you're reading right now. The internet was her safespace, inside of another safespace. Double safespace. Her mother simply obliged, because she had given her daughter everything she wanted, and she wasn't going to stop there.
...Of course, she doesn't know about the villain part yet. uwu.

QUIRK & SKILLS
MECHANOSPIDER
TYPE: Mutation
RANK/LEVEL: C-
SUMMARY:
A mutated version of a spider quirk, the user of Mechanospider has four metallic-like spider legs that growing from their hips. They are 2 feet (60cm) in width and 3 feet (91cm) in length. These spider legs can be used for propulsion, movement, or shielding. While the user prefers to use her legs as her primary mode of transportation, she can travel at speeds of 25mph with just the legs. Although, with doing so, it puts a bit of a strain of her as she has to hold her legs up in the air. She could only travel this way for at most 10 minutes (2 posts) before she has to stop.
She is able to scale walls as well. However, she can only go as high as 20 feet. The bottom of the spider legs are covered in tiny hooks that allow her to grip walls. She does need all four legs to climb, and is vulnerable to attacks while doing so. She can also use the legs as shields.
The legs have three key levels of hardness, with additional minor levels in between. The hardest being steel, and the weakest being bronze. Kurisu's body converts excess sugar into dense material, forming the additional legs caused by her quirk. The more sugar is consumed, the harder the legs are. For a much simpler explanation, classify them as (1) steel, (2) iron, and (3) bronze. Eating sugar keeps the hardness of the metallic substance up.
Seeing as her body converts sugar in such a way, Kurisu is immune to the effects that eating sugar-y products would normally cause. Energy highs, weight gain, damage to teeth, and a much lower risk of developing diseases caused by excessive sugar consumption.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
The longer she goes without consuming sugar, the more the quality of the shields deteriorates. From steel, iron, to bronze. The shields have varying durability as well. Steel could shield against most attacks (however, it has a melting point of 2600F). Fire will kill the Kurisu, though. With her shields being so close to her body (and smaller than her), it is generally not a good idea for her to shield herself against any fire-related attacks.
Due to being immune to the effects of sugar, she unfortunately does not get the high one would get from eating sugar. Therefore, she is... constantly in a crashed state. She has a bit of a delayed reaction time.
While she can use her legs as shields, she is extremely limited in what she can do. She fights with knives primarily, and prefers close combat. She is not very fast, and can easily be overcome in a close-combat match. Using the legs to defend herself against attacks, however, will drop it down 1 stage in hardness level.
The easiest and most likely thing she could always protect herself against would be bullets, provided she isn't being sniped or shot at from behind.
If loss of a leg occurs, it regrows over a long period of time (at max, 5 threads to regrow completely). However, consumption of sugar speeds this up. But it is extremely limited. At least 10 pounds of sugar would knock the regrowth to 4 threads. It continues to scale. 20 lbs would be 3 threads, 30 would be 2, and so on.
She needs to consume at sugar daily. Failure to do so will cause the legs to lose strength, dropping it a full stage for each day without sugar. Eating at least 100 grams of sugar will cause the hardness to go up 1 level, 2 posts after she eats.

Knife proficiency
RANK/LEVEL: D-
SUMMARY:
Kurisu knows the basics of knife fighting. She has never been trained professionally. The extent of her knowledge reaches only to the online videos that she has watched in her spare time.
Parkour
RANK/LEVEL: D+
SUMMARY:
Sometimes you gotta go outside and stop being on the internet (what? unheard of). When she can, Kurisu enjoys free-running. Although she feels like she has an advantage due to her four extra limbs, allowing her to vault or push herself off the ground much faster. She has the advantage of being able to climb UP walls instead of simply jumping. She definitely isn't an expert, but can run circles around a beginner.
