The Oasis. It was a place that had a name seeped in irony. What were things people thought of while invoking that word? Well mainly it was thought to be a place of rest in a desert where a brief respite was few and far between. Yet this place was anything but. Tucked away deep in a random alley in Musutafu, this establishment was beyond shady. And that was putting it nicely. With a barely lit flickering sign hanging over it's door, Ryuusei had only taken a quick glance at it before walking down the steps that led inside. The alleyway in which it had been situated was grimy and dirty yet what did the young student expect. Given the area in which the place was located, the place was probably 'nice' considering it's surroundings. And it was with that thought that he hoped that the inside of the establishment was possibly better than the seedy part of town that he'd traveled through to get here. Unfortunately that didn't seem to be the case. Stepping through the door, Ryuusei's stoic facade broke for a second as the man grimaced slightly as a wave of stale smoke hit him when he opened the door. The repulsion on his face was quickly shook off however as his eyes moved to survey the environment. No one seemed to pay much attention to him however as the sparsely filled bar seemed to have various disinterested patrons scattered across it. To his left, booths were set up against the wall, essentially lining it, while various tables and chairs were sprawled out along the open floor. And to Ryuusei's right was the bar were only a couple of swaying men presently sat. The lighting of the place was dim and dark and well...to sum it up. The place looked like any ol' rundown bar that you would see anywhere else. It was plain, worn down, and discrete. That aside, no one seemed overtly hostile to him nor did anyone seem to care about his arrival which was possibly why his contact wanted to meet here. Instead of hostilities or any outward emotion/expression however, there seemed to be a general air of melancholy around these people. It was almost like they were as dead as the part of town they were presently in... ...Still, dead or not.
They were not his problem.
Plus. He had bigger fish to fry.
Stepping up to the bar, Ryuusei pulled out a folded card and opened it up before sliding it to the bartender who glanced at it for a second before nudging his over towards the back table. Following the tender's eyes, Ryuusei saw a single figure sitting alone in a booth in the corner of the bar. Given the generally dark lighting of the bar, Ryuusei couldn't really make out the person who sat alone there, but he supposed he would find out. Which was why he approached the person with his usual stoic expression on his face before tossing over the folded card he had shown the bartender earlier. "So what's this about." Ryuusei said coldly as he stared down the unknown stranger.

❝ Psycho Cure was not currently her cute, forever 17 self right now. She was a tall, foreigner ikemen with blonde hair! … Well, that was actually not 100% correct, it wasn’t like she suddenly obtained the ability to transform or anything, though that would be such a cool quirk to have, right!? She was actually under the influence of the said man’s quirk, which allowed the quirk user to switch bodies with another person. Ofcourse, that was super dangerous, or so it would be for most people, but not for magical super villain girl Psycho Cure! Her body (and the guy’s consciousness trapped within it) was currently in a safe, secure place so it was fine! And who in their right mind would go against her anyway? Only idiots! And the guy wasn’t an idiot, he just owed her a lot so of course he’d be willing to help a girl in need like herself! In anycase, with the super lit totes awesome disguise, she waited at the meeting place for Mr. Justice bot 2.0. She knew he would come. He definitely would! Who would have known that model son of that super boooo~ring hero family would be thinking of something lame like revenge. She was a little surprised to hear from Tanaka (That was her name for the reflecto-guy, god knows if that was his real name, she kinna forgot it to be honest so she called him that, and he answered to it, so… HE WAS TANAKA NOW!) of what transpired in the derelict building, but she was soooo glad she went to save his sorry ass that day, good deeds do get rewarded, see! Well, to be honest, she wasn’t 100% sure why the kid was looking for the man who crippled the Himura couple and put them straight into retirement (lol), but she was sure it wasn’t just for a friendly reforming chat and convince him to hand himself to the police. … Well… maybe it was. She’d find out soon, hopefully! And, even if that was the reason the teen wanted to talk to him, she could simply change his mind a little- just a chat would be too boring; vengeance and blood spilling sounded like far more fun! And, what’s more, if that happened, she was sure her baby boy would get involved, (because he was super attached to this boring guy for some dumb reason) and then she could get him back! Okay, okay, the latter was the real agenda here but she knew things had to be done naturally and slowly, make the kiddies think they had a choice in all this so that the plan goes the way she intended. She was such a genius! She looked up, eyes under the spectacles studying the card thrown at her. “I heard you are looking for a certain someone.” The blonde said in a cool tone, returning the look he had been given with an even colder gaze. "Why don't you sit down?" ❣❣❣

As the man came into view, Ryuusei's expression remained unchanging. The pair were quite the ice men apparently though given their cold stares. Ryuusei's eyes scanned the man as his brain dipped into it's memory banks yet the man's face didn't register any matches. Or at least....none that he could recall. The card that Ryuusei had tossed the man didn't contain anything too insane. It was just a time and place along with a name. A name that was likely a fake or possibly something more akin to this man's handle. Of course, Ryuusei wouldn't have been surprised if it was just one of many though. "Yes." Ryuusei replied simply as he sat down in the chair opposite of the man in the booth. "Actually I am.""You mentioned rather vaguely in your email that you had a tip that could help bring 'that man' to justice..." Ryuusei began smoothly as he watched the man's face for any visible signs of changing. "So what exactly is it?" Ryuusei asked rather bluntly as he wanted to get this meeting over with as soon as possible. There were a million things that he wanted to ask the man like how he knew Ryuusei was looking for this guy or even who this guy was, yet...Ryuusei found himself unable to press the guy. Knowledge was power but trying to squeeze this guy might make him lose what he absolutely wanted most. The Man. Everything fell by the wayside considering that if this tip was correct and he could find The Man...well Ryuusei would do anything for that opportunity. Which was why he went against logic this time. Scaring this lead away was something he absolutely could not do. Which was why he would simply take the tip as face value and leave it there. Naturally though, he doubted this information would simply be handed to him but....again....he would play this game at the man's pace so as to make him as comfortable as possible. Hopefully though...the guy wouldn't ask him for any favors that were too...
....Extreme.

❝ A shift of bright green eyes under the glasses as the “man” studied the third year student, as if contemplating what to say next. Of course in actual fact, Psycho Cure knew exactly what she wanted to say next but she had to keep in character! Seeing as she had the perfect disguise, she couldn’t go around ruining it now, could she? Without another word, the mystery man pulled out his phone, and brought up a photo on the screen of a man in some part of Tokyo. Where it was exactly wasn’t too clear from the angle it was taken, but the face was clearly shown. The date stamp shown on top of the image on the screen was only a day ago. “ Carrion.” He said, glancing up at the younger male.Man, her voice was such an ikevo!! Her actual body was, of course, super amazingly lit and kyute but it wasn’t bad to be a suave guy once in a while! She should totally do this way more often! “Currently still a free man, enjoying his time frequenting soap lands and the company of high school girls and boys.” His voice carried a tone of general disgust as he put the phone away into his suit pocket, pulling out a box of cigarettes at the same time. She was so, sooo good at this! She had even used a brand new phone that wasn’t covered in Swarovski crystals so she wouldn’t blow her cover! The man lit up a cigarette, taking a drag before he carried on speaking. “So, tell me, Himura Ryuusei, what are you planning to do with the information if I tell you where you can find him?” An exhale filled the surrounding dimly lit space between them with white-grey smoke. She really didn’t like this kid. He looked so lame, acted lame and in general seemed like no fun. Oh and for some reason her baby boy had taken a liking to him when he was clearly the most boring option that a girl would only go for if they wanted a secure payout when they inevitably got divorced because they didn’t have sex for the last 3 years they were married or something. But well, the one good thing out of the whole thing was this situation that she could take advantage of, thanks to Himura Jr. ❣❣❣

"What do you think?" Himura replied coolly as he leaned back calmly in his chair. "I'll bring him to justice."
It was a simple response to a simple question. One which required no further elaboration. Ryuusei was being completely honest just so ya know! He wholeheartedly intended to bring Carrion to justice. And by justice he meant erasing everything that existed of that man. While his face and demeanor appeared calm on the outside, behind his clear eyes burned an intense hatred. A hatred that could not be quelled through normal means. It wouldn't be a stretch to say that Ryuusei practically dreamed of being able to get him hands on the man. Oh.....the things he would do. He would be lying if he said he didn't imagine putting the man through the torture his parents had undergone. The pain of losing the ability to use their body and ability to their fullest. The pain at having any of their future dreams and expectations shattered. The pain at having their identity and life destroyed. Oh yes. Ryuusei wanted to destroy EVERYTHING of that man. He wouldn't be satisfied with just simply killing him. Oh heavens no. Killing him quickly and letting the man escape the agony of what Ryuusei intended to do to him was unacceptable. The man would live. And the man would suffer. He would slowly be drained of his life. And by the time Ryuusei was done with him. Carrion would be begging to die.
"This information would help in doing just that." Ryuusei added with a soft smile as he hid his true intentions underneath his sweet mask. "It's nice though...."
"It is always good when a civilian is willing to help uphold the morals of society." Ryuusei added offhandedly as he extended a hand over to the man opposite of him. "I'm sure you already know who I am. Might I have the pleasure of knowing your name Mister...." Ryuusei began as he trailed off towards the end to let the man answer if he so chose.

❝ Justice. Of course~! As expected of the Justice Bot 2.0, he bleated those damn words first and foremost like the truly groomed hero stick in ass wannabe he was! But waaait~!There was a slight tone to the young man’s seemingly honorable words that was oh sooo~ very straight out of a U.A Heroics textbook. Now, in Psycho Cure’s many, many years of interacting with others, of course she came across not just one or two straight and narrow types who were… just a little bit skewered to follow through with their brand of justice. Hell, there was a whole genre of them dubbed “Vigilantes”! People who thought breaking the law was fair game and still honourable as long as it was “for the greater good”. And this guy smelt like one who was hovering on the verge of that path. Maybe he wasn’t sure yet on what he was going to do, as he was just a kid. But that’s why magical girl Psycho Cure was here! To make sure it went the right way and to make sure young Himura found the bad guy he needed to defeat! Peridot orbs showed a glint of knowingness, a silent exchange that told the other that he knew there was more to it then what the other made out, but also that he understood the position in society that the teen was in and thus the image he had to uphold. A look that could say he totally supported these “noble” goals. “I see. Well, I am glad to hear that he would be dealt with, he has been allowed to run rampant for too long, especially for one who is as devious as he is, only because he is laying low…” It wasn’t a lie, as Carrion wasn’t the dumbest man out there, he had pretty much been a free man compared to other wanted Villains. “And I thought, with the things he had done to your family...you may want to know of the information first.” Psycho Cure took the other’s hand, giving a firm, business like shake. “...Tristan Eilasti. I own some restaurants in the Kabukichou district of Tokyo, if you are familiar with it. I see this man sometimes and it was hard to ignore his blatant bragging of his past and current crimes…” The blonde said shaking his head a little, before releasing the other’s hand and reaching into his pocket to pull out a business card. “Very well, I trust you will do what you must to cease his criminal activities, so I will give you information on his current patterns. I mean, this is just what I know, but it is quite recent information so I think at least for the next few days it should be reliable…” He pushed a USB stick towards the hero to be. “You should find maps and some photos on this, and if you need any more information or assistance you feel I could help with...do let me know. I also will contact you if I find anything else out…” ❣❣❣

Well...the reasons he gave checked out Ryuusei supposed. He still got a somewhat bad feeling from the guy given that usually people who would know such information about shady individuals wouldn't give it out for free. But....on the other hand. What would he accomplish if he kept doubting the guy? Besides. There had always been the option for Ryuusei to decline the guy's offer for the 'information' or 'help' later on. And so long as he was careful and didn't just let himself walk into a trap, he would be fine. Or at least in theory.
As the guy handed over what was essentially a treasure trove of info on Carrion, Ryuusei's mask almost cracked as his eyes widened rather slightly while they stared down at the USB stick. The facial change was noticeable because of two main factors. The first was because Ryuusei couldn't believe how the hell some 'restaurant owner' had gotten his hands on something like this. And secondly because this was essentially....well. It was exactly what he'd been looking for. It was everything he would ever need to find Carrion. It was amazing. It was wonderful. It was perfect.
And that was why it was wrong.
In all seriousness. What the actual fuck. Having this dropped practically in his lap should have made him extremely happy. Yet he wasn't. Because this was just....weird. It wasn't supposed to be this easy. He thought this guy was going to provide him with a general direction. Not with Carrion practically gift wrapped with a neat little bow. Though....worry as he might, none of this was exactly illegal. It was just very suspicious.
Raising his eyes back up and shooting a smile towards the man across from him, Ryuusei definitely knew what his next job was after taking down Carrion. He'd definitely need to investigate this 'Tristan Eilasti'. Even if he had been providing information as a good Samaritan, Ryuusei was sure that he actually checked under the rock from which this shady dude crawled from, he'd probably find something on this guy. Especially given how 'detailed' this tip was. But that would come later. Ryuusei wasn't about to bite off more than he could chew and would only focus on Carrion. For now.
"Well I appreciate the help Mr.Eilasti." Ryuusei said as he pocketed the USB drive that the man had handed over. "I greatly appreciate your help in this matter and hope that if you come across any other good tidbits like this that you will continue to provide them to us heroes."
"Well, it was a pleasure meeting you sir." Ryuusei said as he stood up and pushed his chair in before starting to walk towards the exit. "Take care of yourself."

There was definitely something up with Ryuutan.
He had been...acting kind of weird lately, and that was an understatement of the century. He seemed like he was (even more) than usually lost in thought, both in school AND at work- if nothing else, Mikaku was exceptionally gifted with observing people’s behavior and reactions to things; he usually used this skill to its full to flirt and raise people’s affection towards him, but well, it COULD be used for things like this too.
So one day when they finished work extra early, he invited Ryuusei out but he of course refused. This in itself wasn’t all that weird, but today he had been acting especially weird. There was something up. Maybe he was involved in something dodgy? Nah, couldn’t be. Maybe...he had a girlfriend?
…
Okay maybe too much work had made him delusional to think that. That was crazier thought than the one before it. In either case, he decided to follow the other male discreetly, good thing the black haired teen seemed so engrossed on his phone that he was hardly looking around anyway as he boarded a train to Tokyo. Mikaku followed, now starting to really wonder where in the hell they were going. Once they got to Tokyo, it was the Yamanote line to… Shinjuku.
Ahahahaha imagine if Ryuutan was going to Kabuk-
Mikaku was amusing himself with thoughts of Ryuusei going to meet someone and going to Kabukichou to party or visit a love hotel when...he took the exit for Kabukichou and the young support hero to be almost collapsed with shock.

Well. That was easier than expected. Perhaps even a little too easy. Ryuusei had half expected the man to want to negotiate for the intel yet nope. There wasn't even a peep of a hassle coming from the guy. Which again was maybe why he felt like the whole thing was wrong. Like he had said before....people like him would likely not do things simply out of good will and yet. Ryuusei had gotten the USB drive for the low low price of free. Gripping the small electronic that he had fished out of his pocket after he had walked out of the bar, Ryuusei took a second to glance at the item that could quite possibly change his life. To be honest...he had fantasized about taking out the scumbag who had crippled his parents...but those fantasies were just that. Fantasies. Dreams. Delusions of a young man who felt too much pride in the last name attached to him. And yet now. The small device in his hand while likely weighing only a few small grams felt like something he could hardly handle. His conscience constantly urged him to crush the damned thing. Crush it into dust and forget about all this messy business. A hero didn't do things like this after all. They didn't go about the red light district. They didn't meet shady strangers. And they definitely didn't act of personal whims due to past grudges. And yet Ryuusei had done all that. Clenching his fist, Ryuusei's eyes suddenly went red and small bits of electricity cackled around him. His hair slightly raised and his power activated, Ryuusei only needed but a second thought to end things. To correct things. To be a hero that his sister could be proud of once more. Standing there alone in the alley, the moment seemed to last an eternity for Ryuusei who slowly deactivated his abilities and unfurled his fist. It was still there. Intact and complete. The little USB drive. He had tried to gather what little of his ethics and morals that remained and had tried to will himself to rid himself of the knowledge. But....Ryuusei couldn't do it. Ryuusei's dark eyes stared down into his hand as what little light behind them seemed to slowly fade as an realization slowly began to dawn on him. He was no hero. As logical and decisive as he tried to be, Ryuusei didn't have the proper mentality to be a good hero. He was too cold and calculating after all. Or so he people told him. But that wasn't true. No. That wasn't true at all. It wasn't that he was cold and calculating. It was just that didn't give a single fuck about most of the world. The only thing he cared about were the things he gave value to. Things like his sister. His family name. And- 'Mika!?' Pausing in his train of thought, Ryuusei wasn't all that sure when his body had gotten to moving, but it seemed to have gone on autopilot. Once his mind had resigned itself to it's fate, he must have subconsciously decided to go home. Right as he had rounded the corner and turned to look at the entrance of the station, Ryuusei had suddenly been ripped from his thoughts. Feeling a cold chill run down his spine, Ryuusei's expression likely mirrored that of a kid who had been caught with his hand in a cookie jar. Turning around and escaping was the first thing that jumped into the young psychic's mind but that thought had been futile. Why do you ask? Well that was because their eyes had met. Even if Ryuusei had turned around now, that would seem beyond suspicious. There was no way around this situation. He'd just have to improvise. Shaking the shock off his face as he slapped his stoic expression back on his mug, Ryuusei tried to smoothly wipe away the few beads of sweat that were growing on his moist brow. Reminding himself that he hadn't done anything wrong yet, Ryuusei stilled his will as he stepped inside the small station and flashed an oh so small smile at the only guy he'd likely call his friend. "Mika." Ryuusei voiced in the same deadpan tone he was usually known for as he tried to act like his usual self. "I didn't expect to run into you here.""What are you waiting here for?" Ryuusei inquired as he raised a brow towards the flamboyant man while looking around slightly to try and sell his next question. "Were you meeting up with a date or something?" Ryuusei joked as shot the man what counted as a smile for himself.

Mikaku followed the other male out into the street, weaving through some all too familiar roads of his many nights out and about until they reached a small alley, where Ryuusei suddenly stopped dead. Was this the place he had wanted to come to? No...it...didn’t seem so, it seemed like...wait why was he activating his…
The moment it seemed like the other was using his quirk as his hair seemed to bristle on end, it was deactivated again and he was staring at something. It was hard to see with the other’s back towards him and the fact Mikaku himself was at the end of the alley while Ryuusei was halfway down the other end but… the hell was the guy doing??
That was when he turned sharply on his heel, and started to wander back the way he came.
Shit…
The third year backed off, trying to somehow make it so Ryuusei passed him so he could tail him again, but it was kind of hard to do. He ended up sort of walking almost beside the guy as he wandered back the road he came towards the station before suddenly, as if he realised what he was doing he looked up, his eyes finally focusing and...seeing him.
The look on his friend’s face was...something of a new experience. If he wasn’t so absolutely confuddled by the fact the other had been wandering around Kabukichou of all places, he would have found it hilarious. He didn’t even know it was possible for Justice Bot to make such a face...it was actually kinna cute, it humanised him just that bit more.
So.
Ryuusei was doing something, or thinking of doing something he really didn’t want anyone to know about. Mainly because he could almost see the cogs of the boy’s mind turning, wondering if he should just run, turn around and walk away or…
Okay, so he opted to play dumb.
It probably was the best option, Mikaku had to give him that. As expected from the smart guy! Hey, look, he even put the Justice Bot face back on! Well, as his dear friend had taken so much trouble to flex his (limited) acting skills, he, the master of putting on a face had to respond with all his might too, right!?
“Hey, Ryuutan~!”
The white haired young model-upcoming support hero grinned, giving him a little wave.
“Ahahaha...welllll~”
He casually ran a hand through his hair, ruffling it a little. Oh, look, on the wall of the station there was a pretty big advert with him on it, and what did you know! He was currently doing the same pose, purely by coincidence! ...He looked kinna good in that one, he liked it.
“Seeing as we finished work early today I thought I’d… chill? Shinjuku is one of my hang outs after all! Date? Nah, not YET anyway! Why, whatcha doin here yourself? Didn’t know you come round here, Ryuutan! Are you free right now? Are you offering to... Be. My. Date♡?”
He said the last bit in an award winning sultry tone, 10/10 would have gotten a date if it wasn’t Ryuusei he was saying this to. As he wasted his well honed flirting skills on the guy with no interest in anything sexual because he was already married to justice, a man walked past them, a young girl on his arm who was giggling softly about something.
Mikaku hardly regarded it, probably some kind of compensated dating, it was quite the common occurrence around here.

Did he buy it? Though he smiled, Ryuusei watched the man curiously as several questions like these bounced around his head. Given he wasn't as savvy as his friend here at reading people, Ryuusei could only blindly guess whether his efforts had succeeded or not. Hell, he had even tried to throw the guy a joke to sell it too! Maybe that was trying too hard though. Whelp, regardless whether it worked or not, Ryuusei wasn't quite sure what he had expected Mika to say when he had asked him if the guy was about to go on a date. Oh wait. Yes he did. He expected the guy to respond in a normal and reasonable way. Preferably with either a fucking yes or a no. Not a blatant attempt to hit on him. Thinking about how much the guy seemed to want to get into his pants ALMOST creeped him out but....that was just how Mika was. Or so he thought. It really was the only thing he could think of that rationalized his friend's behavior. Plus if he thought about it in that way it was a bit less creepy. Emphasis on the slight. Letting out a small sigh as he closed his eyes for a second before glancing up at the boy in front of him who seemed to be trying REALLY hard to convince him, Ryuusei unfortunately wasn't in the mood for Mika's shenanigans today. "I'll have to pass on that. I have....things I need to do today." Ryuusei said slowly as he wondered what the best way was the classify his next course of action. Unfortunately 'things' were the only word he could think of as he didn't want too specific on his plans. Not that he knew exactly what those plans were currently. Given the information that the contact had given him, Carrion was into dating. Or something like that. Preferably, Ryuusei wanted to use that against the man. Not because of some special vindictive reason naturally, but rather because the man likely dropped his guard slightly while doing that. If Ryuusei could, he wanted to lure the man out somewhere. Somewhere that he couldn't escape. Of course though...doing so would be a double edged sword. Sure Carrion would be alone...but so would Ryuusei. And trying to pull it off alone or even at all seemed impossible. Even if he could get the guy to agree to see him....Ryuusei doubted he could contain his anger upon seeing the man. Sufficed to say, acting wasn't the psychic's strong point. .....
....
...
..
.
'But it was Mika's.'
.
..
...
....
..... And just like a bolt of lighting, a small voice inside his head whispered that small sentence.
The voice was like a devil on his shoulder.
'Mika could do it. Just like that girl behind you. Take a look at her.' And as though compelled by some unknown force, Ryuusei did as he was told. Turning to look at the 'couple that had passed Mika and Ryuusei just a short while ago, Ryuusei focused his eyes on the girl who hardly looked like she was out of highschool. She had on a bright and cheery smile but the man beside her didn't suit her. He was overweight, old, and wore a suit that screamed that he worked for some random corporation somewhere in the city. The girl could have been with him because she liked him....but that would have been naive for him to believe. She was with him for one reason and one reason only. Money. And just like how she was using him. He was using her. 'Just do it.' The voice whispered. 'Just use Mika.'
'He's practically begging you to do it. I mean.....didn't you hear how he talked to you before?'
'He'll be more than happy to help you. Trust me...'
And like a good devil on the shoulder, Ryuusei couldn't argue with that logic. "Hey. Mika." Ryuusei said as he slowly turned to look at the guy beside him. "To be honest...I actually just got a tip while here It's about a villain who is supposed to frequent some places around here. I figured it to be something fairly easy I could handle myself, but thinking about it now, I believe you might have better qualifications than I for this job. Do you think you can lend me a hand? I'm sure we can wrap this matter up rather quickly on our own." Ryuusei said rather confidently as he acted as though a certain incident a few weeks prior this hadn't happened before.

Uh oh. Ryuusei was thinking again. The cogs were turning again, damn, this guy was really, really bad at letting the little emotions he did have not show on his face. Why did Mikaku know? Because usually, the third year would give him this dead eyed look of utter devastation with the human race (or something like that) if he said anything along these lines, but he had laid the flirting on pretty damn thick today and by Ryuusei standards, the guy hardly reacted. Super suspish. He could see those azure eyes darting around, from his own face, to somewhere behind him, to the floor, to the side… what kind of thoughts were going through the black haired teen’s mind? He kinna wanted to know now. Wow, such a damn tease. Then Justice bot finally spoke. ...huh. Villain…?… Naturally, his thought process went to their little incident not very long ago. How Ryuusei had reacted back then, how out of character he had been since. “Oh, wow, you're STILL on the job huh? You poster boy for heroics, you~ Such a workaholic~!” He said as if he didn’t suspect a ton of things with what he had just been told. But he was sort of glad, actually, that Ryuusei had asked for his help as now he could actually… help rather than “stalk”. “Sure thing though, I guess, if you take me somewhere after. Seeing as this is like unpaid overtime, a practise highly frowned upon in the West…” Mikaku said though his tone was as playful and light as ever.
"...And overworking affects the libido...and can you imagine the tragedy if such a thing happened to me???"

"Sure Mika." Ryuusei replied absentmindedly ignoring the 'libido comment' as he averted his gaze while his mind went to work on formulating the details in his head. "After we're done this job, I'll take you wherever you wanna go. Besides..." Ryuusei began to add as he turned his sights back onto the boy. "I'll definitely owe you one after this."
Now.
What did he mean by that?
Well. Given that most of the details of the plan were pretty simple, it didn't take too long for the little psychic to finish thinking up the way the two of them were gonna do this. And seeing as how that aspect was complete well, it didn't take Ryuusei long to come to the conclusion that he would DEFINITELY come to owe Mika for his involvement with his dubious escapades. Though, on one hand, what Ryuusei was about to ask him wasn't all that bad for the guy considering it was Mika's niche yet then again, considering who Ryuusei was intending to have him lure...well. It might've been simple for Mika but that didn't negate the fact that it was still dangerous. And this was even before Ryuusei would spring the trap on their target. Carrion was someone weird and mysterious. An oddity even among villains. He was a big name in the world of villains which made even the idea of the two of them going against him somewhat akin to suicide but Ryuusei couldn't just find it in himself to let the other heroes handle this. Oh no. No no no. He had to be the one to do. He had to be the one to clear the slight the man had wrought against his family. "Mika." Ryuusei voiced as he moved from the guy beside him and began to walk further inside the station.
He'd motion for the guy to follow him as his nice shoes clacked gently against the place's clean waxed floors. "What do you know about the villain Carrion?" It was a pretty plain question. One that wasn't searching for any particular answer honestly. Why he was asking however was because at some point he was going to have to tell Mika about their target. How much he was going to have to say, lie, or explain however depended entirely on Mika. Given that Ryuusei could hardly ever read the guy, Ryuusei did what only he knew. He would ask and tailor both his mission brief and request of Mika based on known information. In all honesty, he really wished he could bear the entirety of his soul to Mika and reveal his true intentions about....well. About everything. But he knew that wouldn't fly. Even if he did consider Mika a close friend, Ryuusei knew that he couldn't tell the guy that he wished the kill exterminate the villain. Even if Ryuusei's rigid ways and judgement were harsh, they were never illegal. If his qualifications on being a hero were based purely on his aptitude for reaching moral outcomes, Ryuusei would fail. He, however, excelled at being completely logical on the best way to handle things. The best way to handle a fight. The best way to handle a confrontation. The best way to reach a goal. Give him a problem and Ryuusei would solve it easily in a completely logical and concise manner. But this situation here was completely different than anything he had ever had to handle. Even the situation before where he had almost gotten the two of them killed, that had been completely spontaneous and off the cuff. That hadn't been logical. And actually....his meeting with the 'contact' hadn't been logical either. Going to a seedy area alone with no backup while ensuring no one else knew about it. Could one call that logical??? Yeah. Hardly. As he continued his pursuit of Carrion, Ryuusei found his actions to be harder and harder to understand. At first he simply thought it to be enough to bring in Carrion. But as lead after lead kept presenting itself, Ryuusei began to find it hard to want to offer up that information to the proper people. Why was that he wondered? Sure they could take Carrion down right? And wasn't that what he wanted? He was sure it was. Or at least initially. But as his mind toyed with the idea of Carrion rotting in a jail cell for the rest of his life, Ryuusei found himself unable to stomach the thought. The man would be comfortable in a cell getting a luxurious three meal diet daily while his parents were constantly struggling with the pain of the injuries the villain had inflicted upon them? How was that fair!? How was that right!? HOW!? HOW?! HOW!?!?!? ...
..
.
That wasn't right.
No.
That indeed wasn't.
That wasn't justice.
.
..
... Ryuusei was Justice.
And the justice that Carrion would receive would be what he deserved.

“Wherever?” A light glinted in Mikaku’s eyes that probably should have made Ryuusei reget this life choices right there and then. “Well...seeing as Ryuutan is so insistent...guess I gotta put out too huh?” Even if Mikaku didn’t act so on the outside, he was a little cautious now, as Ryuusei’s behavior was far beyond suspicious. What exactly was this guy trying to do? Then, a hint came as to what it could be. A mention of a certain villain’s name. He had heard that name somewhere before, for sure… that was… Oh.“Isn’t that… the guy who...injured your parents…?” Of course, he knew about that incident. Most people did. But he never mentioned it, because Ryuusei never did, and well… what could one say about it? Especially with the Dokumi heir’s allergy to personal subjects, he had avoided touching on that one topic that probably was sensitive for his friend also. “...what about him?” He added softly, eyes meeting those deep blue ones that seemed to have some kind of strong conviction in them. That is, more than usual. He wasn’t dumb, he was starting to put the fragments together and it was dawning on him that he was probably going to get himself into something far more problematic than he ever would want to, but at the same time Mikaku didn’t feel like walking away as he usually would and leaving the other teen to get neck deep in whatever he was trying to get into by himself. He would try and help. Whatever the request would be.
Because...
He cared.

"Well. That's going to be our target." Ryuusei stated simply as he stepped onto the platform along side the rest of the waiting commuters. Given that they were still in public, he couldn't get too specific about what he talked about with Mika, but he figured it should be alright if he just kept his words somewhat vague. Or so he thought for a second before he decided against the action. "And it's good that you know that I have a history with the man, but I promise you. It won't get in the way of us taking him down." It wasn't a lie. But it wasn't the whole truth. He had wrestled with himself on whether he should reveal his true intentions to the man that was arguably his best friend, but even if the man held that title, telling the guy that he wanted to end Carrion with his own two hands likely wouldn't go over well. And actually...now that he thought about it. It was better this way. He knew he couldn't pull this job off alone. But that didn't mean he wished to ruin Mika's life in the process of roping him into this whole scheme. No. Ryuusei planned take full responsibility for this when it was over. Which was why the less Mika knew, the better. Hearing the train approach, Ryuusei turned to look at the approaching vehicle for a second, before turning to look at Mika with a pair of eyes that were slightly more serious than usual. "While this is something we probably shouldn't handle on our own, given what I've learned about the guy, I'm sure we can take him down between the two of us. Now...I know you might protest and say we shouldn't...." "But I need to do this Mika." Ryuusei said as the train in front of them began slowing to a stop.
"For my family." He added out loud to his companion.
'And for myself.' He added for himself.
