The hero is still pretty much at his peak physically, well built and an ominous appearance on the horizon makes him a threat many villains fear. Momentum's tends to favor more limited appearance in terms of clothing as due to his quirk most of it tends to get destroyed in the process of a fight. His blonde hair, red eyes, and wicked smile has been the last face many villains have seen before ending up behind bars.

RUMOR/SECRET: | He may have taken an injury in a recent fight that may have him slowly preparing for an early retirement, having him glancing to potential students to mentor. |
Ikioi is a bit of a sadist and that's actually what drew him to hero work. His natural draw to combat made him want to use that outlet in a positive manner, which brought him to hunting down villains. His quirk happened to be a great asset for hero work too. He's typically a pretty normal guy though, preferring calm situations to loud ones. He's still rather outgoing without struggling to get along with fans but he often finds himself drained after big social events. Momentum, the hero, is his pride and joy and he focuses on it so intensely it's very common for him to lose track of things outside of his job.
BACKGROUND HISTORY
PLACE OF BIRTH/HOMETOWN: | Furano, Hokkaido, Japan |
PARENTS: | Nothing is known about his parents |

The hero, Momentum, started out a quiet life in the quieter prefecture of Hokkaido. He doesn't talk much about his life before becoming a hero, but he has mentioned before that his family were farmers and often he found himself wandering around in nature looking for something to entertain him in his youth. Inevitably, he found himself to be a somewhat troubled youth.
An only child, Ikioi was a bit on the spoiled side. Anything his family could do to keep him on his best behaviour while they worked was done, and that meant he got nearly everything he wanted. At school, he developed a love for fighting and an admiration for the heroes that seemed to always win. The few "friends" he developed were those that looked up to him for his naturally strong quirk.
Fast forward to high school, and his time in Shiketsu Academy. Their militaristic style and harsh words broke Ikioi from his misbehaving habits and brought him into a terrifying hero. Not long after finding his way out of the classroom he began developing a name for himself having worked as a pro hero's intern for awhile.
In the last few years, just over a decade really, Momentum has become a bit of a household name. He's no top ten hero, but he's definitely not invisible.

THE ARMORY
Shock Absorbing Rings
The intense force output by his attacks is due to amplified momentum, and thus it also has shock back onto himself. These allow him to protect his limbs from the harmful effects of his quirk. These add another use to each arm and each leg but after two uses of his quirk he still experiences extreme muscle fatigue and pain.
Hero Uniform
A simple outfit that's light and thin. Made of highly durable materials on his legs as to help maintain modesty.

QUIRK & SKILLS
Amped Up!!
TYPE: Emitter
RANK/LEVEL: B+
SUMMARY:
Ikioi's quirk is the ability to amplify his own momentum. Momentum is everything in terms of combat as its the level of momentum that determines the overall force that's output in the end. Through the amplification of momentum he can output levels of force beyond those of what someone in equivalent strength can do and move faster than other people that are as fit as he is. The exact limits of this will be in the weaknesses and limitations section below with feats and examples for you.
It is incredibly important to differentiate between levels of force and levels of strength. He is not inherently stronger but he hits harder and that's what makes him a threat. This comes with its own downsides however which will be further explained in the weaknesses and limitations sections.
And the final positive detail of his quirk is the level of control he exerts at a B+ rank allows him to pinpoint individual points around his body to amplify momentum from which is less stringent on his body than using his full limb and allows him to do quick movements with them to create powerful gusts of wind to launch either as a projectile or to fire himself in the air for temporary longer/higher jumps with low accuracy and destructive force required to output. Not necessarily a consistent tool in his arsenal, but something he can tap into on occasion.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
The difference between increased momentum and increased strength rears its ugly head in a few important ways. That is where we'll begin the dissection of the quirk's limitations. Other heroes are capable of lifting things but he can't quite accomplish that. His limitations are actions requiring consistent movement. While he may be able to break, push, or quickly throw inaccurately he is not able to hold something beyond your average human's strength for extended periods of time. This is not in any way a natural enhancement to strength but is an enhancement to his overall force. With the enhancement of his quirk, he may be able to push a stationary car about a hundred feet down the road, flip a large piece of debris over, or punch through a thick metal wall after a few swings. However, if he tried to lift a car over his head it would most definitely be far too much to hold and once it was up it would come down and crush him.
The next important differentiation between the concepts of increased force and increased strength is the implication of Newton's Third Law. Every force applied has an equal but opposite reaction applied back towards it. This concept is why pushing down on something pushes you up and it's the very same concept that breaks Midoriya's arms in the series, as the force he's outputting with One for All is more than the force his arms can take which comes back and damages his body. Ikioi's quirk enables him to large amounts of force but none of the benefit of enhanced muscle mass nor durability. The returned force without the proper protection of additional equipment could easily leave the limb fatigued and in pain after two uses or shattered after as little as three uses. With the shock absorbing tools mentioned in his arsenal he has a total of four uses with each limb before they would break, where the first use of a limb causes a slight tingling and a numbness on it making it more difficult to use and the second causing a slight stinging feeling. A limb broken by his quirk can take as long as three full threads to heal and even with healing from another quirk could only regain a single use before shattering again.
As mentioned in the quirk's description, Ikioi's quirk can allow for intense amounts of mobility compared to those of others. By less of an amplification needed to output for combat, he can run at a solid twenty-five miles an hour without impacting his legs. He can leap as high as thirty feet consistently without damaging himself. By taking up a combat use he can run up to fifty miles an hour within a few seconds for up to two full posts or launch himself as high as sixty feet into the air. Though this does offer great amounts of mobility it also ups the potential danger. If he got hit by a car while doing this the effects would be potentially devastating. He doesn't have extra durability so this would likely kill him if that gives you any idea the level of danger presented.
Via the use of the newest concept he can fire long range concussive blast of air via focused momentum. This allows him to hit ranged opponents up to two hundred feet away with a single gust, but costs a full use of his quirk. He can also spend two uses of his quirk on one leg to fire himself up or forwards at high speeds a total of two hundred feet. However, this is incredibly inaccurate in terms of maneuverability at this rank and unless he's close enough to guarantee a hit won't do him much good. In addition, he has to fire this at something in order to launch himself so it often causes lots of collateral damage.
