It was a cool and bustling friday night. All around town the citizens of Musutafu relished in the ending of another work week, while openly embracing the start of their perspective weekends. Some headed to the movies, others to the bars, and some just couldn't wait to get home. Whether it was for the company of family, or a new video game that they had been dieing to play. To all that called Musutafu home it was just another peaceful friday night. But for one, it was opening night and the show curtain was just about to be drawn. So in anticipation the star of this unexpected extravaganza quickly got into place and awaited the sign that would signal the start of the show.
Tucked away in a darkened ally between two commercial buildings the villain known as Reaper prepared for his debut. Fully geared, Reaper expelled a slight sigh as he did before every debut. For though his end goal was a worthy one, the man many had come to fear still did not take delight in ending the lives of innocent civilians. However if he was to change the way heroes were patrolled and redeem his clan, then he would have to shake the very foundation that the world of heroes was built upon. Which meant taking things to the extreme as unfortunate as that might be for those who served as a means to his end.
Now in the zone Reaper exited out of the ally and on to the sidewalk. Upon doing this the once pro hero would find himself bumping into a man and his child. From the ice cream cone in the child's hand it was clear that these two had just recently came from the ice cream parlor just up the street. With eyes filled of wonder and admiration the little child paused from licking his ice cream and asked, ""Ohhh, are you a hero?" Sadly however before anything else could be said, and before the unsuspecting father and son could realize the danger that they were in. Reaper quickly and masterfully unsheathed his sword and in the same one movement swung in an upward diagonal fashion. Slicing the poor boy from bow to stern in one clean sweep. In an instant the light from the boy's eye faded as he fell backwards. In the time it took for the boy's body to hit the floor, Reaper grabbed ahold of the father and embraced him in a one handed hug as his blade pierced through the man's heart and protruded out his back. In a low and yet comforting tone Reaper whispered into the father's ear, "I hope you and your son find peace. Now drift swiftly, into Oblivion." The second he was done Reaper expertly drew his sword out of the man's chest and watched as the man's lifeless body collapsed face first into the pavement. The second this happened a bone chilling scream would echo out as a nearby woman had just witnessed one of the most heinous things she had ever seen in her life.
As the scream howled against the night air everyone around would stop what they were doing and peer over to see thee most ungodliest sight they had ever seen. Seeing the image of the father and son laying sprawled out on the pavement caused and immediate unsettlement among those that were around. Which was then quickly followed by panic and confusion as many began to flee the scene of such a horrific incident. In the midst of all the panic Reaper went about adding a few more to his body count. As this went on a few civilians wasted no time calling the authorities.
"Hello?! Yes please you need to get the police down here stat. Some sicko is going around hacking people up!"
"There's a monster in black killing people over!"
"Get the cops and some Heroes over here immediately!
What first started as a single scream was now an ocean of screams as people yelled into the night out of panic as they fled for their lives and others shouted into their phones as they watched from inside their cars and through the windows of nearby by buildings. Not to long after Reaper finally took his leave of the open area and began making his way into one of the commercial buildings nearby. As he entered many attempted to flee, others were frozen in fear as they pondered over the life they had lived. Upon snagging one of the runners, the calm mannered villain simply asked "Where's your utility closet?" After getting his answer Reaper quickly killed the man, seeing the quick and painless death he had bestowed upon the individual as a kindness. The sound of sirens blasted against the screams and yells that filled the night air. Reaching the utility closet Reaper took his sword and began demolishing the electric control panel, plunging the entire building into darkness. Now shrouded in darkness, Reaper activated his mask's infrared as he made his way to the staircase and began his ascent to the seventh floor. "I hope all is ready, for Chaos has now descended upon Mufutafu." Stated Reaper to himself as he prepared for battle, all the while slicing away at anyone that happened to be in his path. Yes what once started as a peaceful and normal friday night, was now one of death and mayhem.
Outside the cops began to arrive squad car after squad car as they piled up outsight. Not to far behind were the ambulances and even a few news vans were beginning to show up. As the cops began to formulate their plan a civilian would show one of the cops a picture of the would be assailant. Recognizing the picture from other news outlets from other countries, the cop's jaw dropped in both shock and terror. As he recognized the villain in the picture as The Chaos Killer: Reaper.

Sora blinked several times in disbelief at the scene that unfolded in front of her. Did... that really just happen? Further down the block a figure stepped out from one of the alleyways, drew a weapon and proceeded to start painting the street red with the help of some passing pedestrians. "What the bloody hell...?" Immediately she felt herself reach over her shoulder on reflex, but of course there wasn't a shotgun there, not when she was walking around in public. With a grunt of annoyance she ducked down behind the signboard for a nearby shop and took stock of her resources, while the panicked screaming masses started to surge past in terror.
The former hero was dressed in an old worn-out hoodie jacket with a tank top and cargo pants, a casual look that was supposed to make her blend in, but not quite as useful as her usual 'work' clothes in this new situation. She'd just finished a meeting with a buyer and had what was left of her stock in a duffel bag that was slung over her shoulder. It should have been quick trip back to the shop, but then this lunacy happens... So what did she have? Two knives, one tucked into her shirt and another strapped to her leg, and a 9 millimeter pistol in a concealed shoulder holster... plus whatever was left in the bag and whatever the hell she was last attuned to. A quick search of the duffel turned up two more knives, a pair of flashbangs, and a grapple gun, while a ping of her quirk gave her images of a crowbar, a cestus, and... yep, her trusty shotgun. All in all, not a bad loadout for a moment's notice.
While Sora quickly tucked the extra equipment away in her clothes, she heard the wet splash of fresh blood hitting the pavement. More people falling... each one making her expression grow more and more grim. She liked a good scrap as much as the next guy, but there was no entertainment in this, it was just straight indiscriminate murder. Emerald eyes sharpened as she palmed the last knife and pulled her hood shut to hide as much of her face as possible. "Right then, let's get to it."
Stepping back into the crowd, it took a bit of effort to wade through against the tide, and by the time she broke through the assailant was already out of sight. They left quite a trail though, blood and more bodies leading down the sidewalk and into a nearby building. Sora followed in the gruesome footsteps to find that the inside of the structure had gone completely dark, leaving the light that streamed through windows as the only source of illumination... not ideal, but still enough for her to track her target.
By the time she climbed to the seventh floor, sirens were crying out from all around and flashing red and blue lights blazed in from outside. Credit where credit was due, the police in this area had quite the response time... its just too bad that meant she'd have less time to get to know this mysterious fellow. Oh well. Seeing the trail of bodies come to an end, the redhead found herself standing just outside of what looked like a large office space inter-spaced with a number of cubicles and work tables. She couldn't see very far in from her position, but she also wasn't stupid enough to just walk into a room with a killer. On the other hand, she was stupid enough to taunt someone she knew nothing about.
"Oi, anyone home? I'm lookin' for th' loonie that off'd a bunch a' folk an' then went t' hide in a corner like a right pillock. Ring any bells?" She called into the darkness with more than a bit of snark in her voice as she reached for one of the grenades and pulled the pin.

All the way on the other side of the room perched on a cubicle wall, Reaper patiently stares in the direction of door as he awaits the flashy entrance of one of Musutafu's Pro Heroes. However much to his surprise someone had arrived, but they didn't swoop in with anything flashy, or with flare. Instead they simply took the stairs up and was now stationed in the doorway. Obviously whoever this person was at the very least had the sense to not just come barging in to a darkened room without a clear visual of their opponent. However as the new comer began to speak, any hopes of this new comer being an adequate Pro Hero went flying out the window. For this new comers taunting was on par with that of a fourth grader, which spoke volumes to Reaper as he continued to silently stare down the hero.
Hmmm is this really the caliber of hero Musutafu has summoned to face me? Or maybe this is just some random wanna be hot shot trying to make a name for themselves. Either way the outcome will remain the same, for I have no intentions on being defeated. Thought Reaper as he then noticed the canister shaped item with a choker in Sora's hand. Upon seeing Sora extract a pin out of the item Reaper immediately began using deductive reasoning as to better ascertain what the item was and how best to be ready for a counter move. Well being as this guys a hero I can only assume that the item in this novice's hand must be a flashbang , after all it's in a Hero's best interest to limit the amount of damage done to an area while attempting to apprehend a villain. Besides even if he didn't care about the destruction of property he'd still have to worry about the possible debris that could be blown out the windows and on to cops just outside. Though based on the pitch blackness that we're both consumed in it could be a light grenade however all the ones I've seen didn't require a pin release, so I'll stick with my early assessment. The item in question is a flash bang, I'll admit for a somewhat novice Hero, they do seem a bit prepared for this particular situation. But as is the case, if one knows all the rules and regulations that a hero must follow, they could easily keep control of a situation by bottlenecking a hero into a predicament that further limits the variety of actions that they are allowed to take. Thus forcing a Hero to their desired outcome, rather than that of the hero's .
As Reaper kept his gaze on Sora, he made sure to prepare himself should the hero decide to toss the flash grenade into the room. Cool and put together the ingenious villain quietly extracts one of his throwing knives from within his waist side. With the knife in hand Reaper masterfully tosses it with the canister in Sora's hand as the intend target. I wonder how you'll fair in the dark against me, let's see if my first impression of you was right, or if there's more to than meets the eye.

Sora stared into the dark for several long seconds, but no response ever came from the room beyond. "A quiet one, eh? Too bad, you lot are never as much fun t' play with." There was of course every possibility that she was trying to talk to an empty room, certainly wouldn't be the first time, but the evidence suggested otherwise. When a maniac went on a killing spree, they didn't usually just suddenly stop and leave. No, the trail ended here and they went through the trouble to take out the power, so odds were that they were still here...
Just as the redhead was starting to get bored of their little standoff, there was a glint in the dark, a reflection of the flashing lights outside against metal. It didn't take much imagination for someone as familiar with weapons as her to figure out what she was looking at, and a smirk instantly spread across her face. "There ya are!" Casually, she popped the flashbang up into the air, letting the knife cut through the empty air where it'd been and smash through the window beyond. Without the pin holding it in place, the strike lever popped off and started the grenade's fuze. As the canister fell, Sora quickly bounced it back up with the side of her heel, then spun about and delivered a hard kick in order to spike it into the room.
Two seconds later, the whole room would explode with light and sound. Knowing the timing of the fuse perfectly, Sora ducked behind the door frame to shield her eyes and got rid of her ears by shifting them to metal. She waited only a split second before reaching for her pocket and striding into the room. Even if the blinding light and deafening noise had done the job of stunning her opponent, it was still too dark to see beyond the entrance of the office. Luckily she had a solution for that, and her lunatic friend had already gone through the trouble of clearing the building for her.
When Sora's hand came out of her pocket, it held a single shotgun shell with a black and red casing. A very special shell for a very special payload. Rather than shift to form a shotgun, she flipped the shell up like it was a coin and lashed out with the knife she still held in the other hand. When the blade hit the shell it caused a spark and set off the primer, which in turn ignited the contents. Most people consider dragon's breath shells to be not much more than a party trick, but Sora herself was quite a fan of the added effects the ammo had. A fireball erupted out from the casing as it burst open, bathing the center of the room in a cloud of flame and magnesium. Maybe it wasn't the most practical way of getting some light, but it was at least effective, almost immediately setting the middle of the office ablaze with an orange glow as loose papers caught fire.
"Much better, an' now we can get t' know each other a bit better. So, where are you, ya right bastard?" Sora called out as her emerald eyes swept across the room in search of her foe.

"A quiet one, eh? Too bad, you lot are never as much fun t' play with." As those words came out of Sora's mouth Reaper had almost immediately lost all faith that the wanna be hero standing in front of him was going to be anything special. That was of course until he heard . "There ya are!" What followed next was most impressing, for the would be hero then proceeded to toss what at this point in time Reaper was sure was a flashbang all while dodging his throwing knife. Interesting, thought Reaper as he then rolled backwards off of the cubicle wall in a most fluent manor with the intent of using it as cover. In conjunction to using the wall as cover Reaper quickly closed his eyes and opened his mouth while wrapping his two index fingers in to the excess flourish flap of his suite before then sticking them into his ear. When the flashbang went off Reaper felt a slight discomfort as the concussive pressure of the bang rippled through out his body, luckily however opening his mouth had helped to equalizes the pressure on his equilibrium however though he covered his ears as best as he could he'd still have a bit of a ringing echoing throughout his head. Still at the very least he wasn't immobilized. With the flashbang now done and over with the ex pro hero though suffering from the annoying ringing going on in his head stealthy peered from behind the cubicle wall. And what he saw next further intrigued him.
As the hero, if you could call her that proceeded to pull a shotgun shell from her pocket and with a knife went about doing an old but very resourceful trick. In an attempt to somewhat illuminate the office space. With an amused smile Reaper quickly and quietly retreated to a corner of the room using the remaining darkness, the cubicles and the newly formed shadows that Sora's dragonbreathe night light now provided to keep himself concealed from the heroine. There seems to be more to this supposed hero than meets the eye. Though, this particular person doesn't quite move like any hero I've ever encountered. Concealed in the shadows Reaper quietly moved around as to not stay in one spot as to avoid being pinpointed as he began addressing the heroine in question. All the while keeping a trained eye on her as the wheels in his mind began to turn.
"I must say that trick of yours was a bit inspiring. Although I must ask what kind of hero just carries around a shotgun shell, and not just any shotgun shell mind you. Unless of course you normally tend to use a shotgun in your heroic endeavors. But that can't be right, seeing as the hero association tend to scrutinize and discourage such lethal weapons and force. I mean certain guns are permitted of course but I'm pretty sure a shotgun isn't one of them. I mean there's no real non lethal way or situation to use one, especially seeing as such a weapon requires such a close proximity to even be of use. Also what's with the hoodie? Didn't have enough time to switch into your hero costume? Asked Reaper in a calm and yet analytical manor.
Still in a quiet and constant movement Reaper continued to asses the the situation as well as the one that stood before him. For a few things just didn't add up. The one that stood before him arrived on the scene much faster than anticipated. On top of that by now Reaper was sure the authorities must have known who it was responsible for the killing, as well as how dangerous he was so why send a single hero to combat him. Yes, there was clearly more to the hero in question than meets the eye and Reaper was going to figured it out come hell or high water. While still in movement and under the cover of shadow Reaper extracted two smoke bombs and without hesitation threw them at where the dragonbreath night light was stationed. The second the bombs left his hand Reaper then went on a full on sprint to the other corner of the room. "Tell me hero, care to a play a game? As he ran towards the other side of the room the villain known as Reaper then masterfully tossed yet another throwing knife aimed directly for Sora's jugular. At this time the smoke bombs would just be hitting the floor detonating on impact. Throughout all this Reaper kept his eyes on Sora as he wanted to see exactly how the so call hero would respond. He wanted to see for himself if the person that stood before him was truly skilled or just had a case of sheer dumb luck.
While Sora and Reaper scoped each other out, the police were finally getting into position. A few cops were just gearing to enter the building while a few were taking positions on the roof top the building across the street in hopes of pin pointing on which floor The Chaos Killer known as Reaper had taking refuge.

Sora stared out into the darkness as her head pivoted about, relentlessly searching for her as of yet unseen foe. As more papers and cubicle walls started to fall prey to the spreading flames, a gentle orange glow began to cover the room, and yet... there was a lot of cover in the office. She thought she occasionally caught movement on the edges of her vision, but the dancing shadows cast by the firelight made it difficult to track for more than a brief instant. Certainly an improvement over the total darkness, but still far from ideal... at least until the fire spread more. The redhead cocked a grin and spun the blade in her hand; it was just a game of whether or not she could hold out until then.
Or the guy could be stupid enough to start talking back, that worked too. And man, did he talk. "Heh, I stand corrected, get yer mouth movin' and it just won't stop mate." Sora chuckled as her eyes followed the sound of his voice, still unable to make out his form in the darkness but using the noise to direct her guard. The questions he asked seemed kinda pointless to her, but she never minded a bit of banter to go along with a brawl. "See, ya went an' answered yer own question mate, only one real reason t' carry 'round ammo. Yer wrong 'bout a few things though..."
She trailed off, ignoring the comment about her attire as she noticed him go silent again, only for her eyes to snap toward a source of movement in the dim light. She casually activated her quirk, flicking her free hand down as she formed a sawnoff shotgun, letting it slide down from her baggy sleeve and into her hand, as though it had been tucked away in her hoodie the whole time. She didn't tend to care if people knew about her quirk, but there was no reason to give up information like that in a fight if she could just as easily hide it. It just made it easier to catch people off guard. Continuing the movement, she snapped the gun up toward the approaching projectiles and pulled the trigger. A blue light flared from the barrel of weapon as a wave of pure force ripped across the room, the shockwave tearing down a few cubicle walls as it hit the smokebombs and made them burst.
As the leftover energy carried the resulting smoke toward the far wall and away from Sora, the former hero could hear a rapid shuffling in the dark. It was incredibly difficult to pick out over the ambient noise, and impossible to pinpoint, but it told her that her new friend was moving quickly across the office.... a piece of information that gifted her with a split second to react as her gaze caught the knife flying from the other side of the room. Cursing in spite of the grin she still wore, Sora twisted violently and flipped her gun about so that the barrel was facing back along the outside of her arm. Another blast of blue light and a loud crack filled the room, the energy from an unbraced shot sending the redhead into a spin that just barely managed to carry her from the knife's path.
A third carefully timed shot sent yet another cubicle wall flying as the former hero countered her momentum and came out of the twirl with a casual sway of her arms. "See-" She continued speaking as if the exchange had never happened, blatantly ignoring the small trickle of blood on the side of her neck where the blade had managed to nick her. "-anyone that thinks this thing'll only shoot bullets is sorely lackin' in' imagination." She flipped the shotgun back around and manually cycled the pump action, sending the spent blue and yellow casing of one of her concussion shells clattering to the floor. Looking out toward the spot where the knife had come from, she brought her weapon up and idly patted it against her shoulder a few times. With a cock of her head and an almost feral glint of the eyes accompanying her smile, she finally addressed the murderer's last question. "I'm always up for a bit a' fun with a lunatic 'fore I put 'em down. What do ya' have in mind?"

As Reaper watched Sora he couldn't help but analyze the unorthodox hero. Hmmmm though their moves aren't as flourish as would expect, this hero certainly makes up for it with her pinpoint precision. Still there's no way this person is associated with Hero Association. They clearly don't follow the rules, but I still need be certain that this person in front of me is who I think they are. Hence the reason for my game. Thought Reaper as he smiled behind his mask. As the ex pro hero now turned super villain ran across the room he'd here Sora's response to his do you care to play a game question. "Here's the game, I'm going to make my dazzling escape and wonder if you'll give chase or make a hastily retreat yourself. For during my escape I shall slay any and all that I come across. So do choose wisely." stated Reaper before then diving though east facing window of the building only to land through the sixth floor west side facing window of the adjacent building. Upon landing Reaper would go into a tuck and roll before finally pooping up straight up out of the roll and back on his feet. Reaper wanted to test his theory, after all a Vigilante is as much of a target to the police and true heroes as he is. And though he felt he was right in his analyzation of the heroine he still needed to be sure. After all either way he'd learn more about the hooded the figure.
Without ever looking back Reaper then began running to the other side of the room he was now in and just like before he'd do a diagonal dive through the east facing window of the building he was in and land through the west facing window on a lower floor in the adjacent building. Reaper continued this routine three more times only the last building was out of the the cops blockage perimeter, which now placed Reaper in the thick of the huge civilian crowd that watched on from the where they thought they'd be safe. As Reaper strolled out of the last building he'd immediately dart into the sea of people before then violently and indiscriminately slashing four randoms. With this sudden and gruesome act a few onlookers would scream out in horror, "AHHhhh, it's him! It's the Reaper!!!" Following that one outburst a chain reaction of chaos quickly unfolded just as Reaper had planned. For now the huge horde of people were all swept up in a frenzy as everyone in the area began frantically running away. The street was was now in utter disarray as people violently ran into each other, other's pushed people be down as they attempted to get away, and many trampled over those unfortunate enough to wind up on the floor. "Run for your life!!" "I can't believe it how'd he make it all the way over here pass the cops?" Using the chaos as his own personal scramble smokescreen Reaper blended in and followed the direction of the madness as he awaited the right opportunity for him to make a his clean getaway.
On the rooftop of the building just just across the street from the one Sora and Reaper was in a sniper using his scope peers into the seventh floor and notices not only the fire but an unidentified person standing close to it. Seeing this the sniper reports back to his captain using his coms. "Captain I'v got something, there's a fire on the seventh floor of the building. Not only that but there hasn't been any sign of Reaper yet sir, but I did spot an unidentified person one the seventh floor."
With a look of shock now on his face the captain begins to think as he tries to figure out the situation now unfolding before him. Could this unidentified person be the Reaper's accomplice? No in everything I've found on him ranging from other police reports to news coverage Reaper works alone. Then maybe the person up there is a hero, but why wouldn't the hero first attempt to coordinate with us before just sneaking in. I don't like this, something's not right. Though the captain before then hearing the sound of gun fire. "Sniper nest what was that? What's going on?" asked the captain as he spoke into his walkie talkie.
"The unidentified person just opened fire with shotgun!! I repeat the unidentified person is armed. Wait hold on no freaking way! Sir Reaper just dove through the window into the adjacent building and it doesn't look like he's stopping there. I think he's attempting to make escape sir!"
Hearing this the Captain quickly grits his teeth as what was already a mess was now turning into a complete and utter shit show with wildfire thrown in for good measure. Taking action the captain instructs a team to breach the building the and round up the unidentified person on the seventh floor. From there he'd instruct the sniper to keep an eye on the person still in the building while notifying his spoter to keep an eye on Reaper. Following all of this the captain would call in for a chopper assistance, while he and a second another group of officers began running east in an attempt to try and reach Reaper in time as it was clear now that the villain is question was far smarter than he was giving credit. Seeing as if Reaper made it behind the blockage the cops would find themselves at a great disadvantage thanks to the horde of people gather behind it, watching to see comes of the infamous villain.

Oh, so it was a race then, was it? Sora chuckled in amusement at the challenge, it was as if the guy thought there was actually a chance that she'd turn tail. Or that he had even the slimmest odds of outrunning her. Not likely, unless he was hiding a quirk that gave him extra mobility. In the growing light cast by the fire, she was finally able to make out a silhouetted figure as she tracked his voice through the darkness... just in time for him to bolt and crash through the window on the far side of the room. The redhead clicked her tongue in feigned annoyance at the display, shaking her head. "Givin' yerself a headstart, eh? Well, guess you'd need it, wouldn't ya." She casually pointed her shotgun to the fledgling fire and pulled the trigger, a shockwave washing over the embers and robbing them of oxygen as the force of a ferocious wind blew them out. Even if that didn't do the job of completely extinguishing the flame, the authorities could take it from there, and so she turned the barrel of her weapon to the ground behind her.
Yet another blast cracked out, and as Sora kicked off the ground the energy recoil from aiming at such a close solid surface sent her rocketing through the air. In an instant she cleared the room and burst into the night air for the briefest of moments as she pursued the villain into the next building. Landing among the already shattered glass with an oddly graceful roll, she wasted no time in firing another shot, bouncing up onto the ceiling for a brief moment before dropping back down into her sprint. As the next window shattered, she flicked out the grappling hook from her jacket and wasted no time in taking a shot at the building beyond the next gap. The hook found purchase on the edge of a window frame, and she proceeded to use the retracting chain to further fuel her charge. She certainly had to admit that this guy was fast, probably one of the fastest she'd ever seen without a quirk to help, but she was someone who learned a long time ago how to turn herself into a murderous sort of living projectile.
Another flare of blue light, and by the time they had crashed through the next pane of glass, Sora was practically on top of her foe. She could have tried to take him there, but he seemed to have good enough reactions to deal with the strike, and she could already tell what was going on anyway. There was only one more building down this way, then a great big open plaza that was sure to be full of civies. He'd murk a few and then try to wade into the anonymous masses for a getaway. That's what she would do if she were a psychotic kil-
...
Sora fired off her grappling hook again, but instead of aiming for the same window as her target, she went for the edge of the building's roof. One more shotgun blast added to her momentum, and she used the chain to slingshot herself past the anchor, rocketing above the rooftop and up into the night's sky. Slowing as she reached the peak of her flight, Sora looked down at the bustling crowd that covered the plaza. Focusing on the fringes near the building, it didn't take long for her sharp eyes to catch a blur of movement. Movement that was accompanied by a splash of red mist. Four people fell in an instant. She cursed at the sight, but made sure not to let herself lose track of the figure in the chaos that ensued as the crowd suddenly erupted in panic. No way in hell she was just gonna let this one slip away.
Letting the gun in her hand dissolve into dust now that she was out of her foe's sight, Sora angled herself down and reinforced her bones with steel as she began to plummet toward her prey. As she came crashing down, attempting to crush the man with the weight of her fall, her pair of knives would appear in her hands and immediately lash out in a low sweep at the back of his knees. "Glad t' know my first impression was spot on. You are a proper bellend."

"Ugh sir we've got a problem. The unidentified assailant seems to be on the move! It looks like he's given chase to the Chaos Killer." stated the sniper as he watched the unidentified individual propel themselves through a broken window, only to then use a grapple hook to glide through the air like some kind flying lemur/squirrel combo. If the sniper was being honest it was quite impressive though this just meant more work for the police force.
Now hearing that the unidentified person was presumably giving chance, the captain began to string together a theory. So this person is after the Reaper same as us however, this individual hasn't tried once to coordinate out to the cops in the slightest. With all these factors the captain came to the conclusion that the individual chasing after The Chaos Killer had to be a vigilante instead of a full fledge card carrying Pro Hero. With a fire burning in his eyes the captain knew he had his work cut out for him as he now had to culprits to apprehend. Reaching for his walkie the Captain would immediately begin addressing the other amazing men and women in uniform. "Ok listen up I have reason to believe that the unidentified second figure going after Reaper is a vigilante. You all know what that means we've got to criminals to catch. Anyone not at the scene of the crime need over and help us get through and raid of all these civilians. Reaper is trying to make an escape using the frantic crowd. I want both parties in the sniper nest to do their best to keep track of our targets. While me and my group continue on trying to get through the crowd. Also where in the hell is my damn chopper support?! On that same note someone get on the phone and get some damn heroes down here!"
As Reaper continued to stealthy wade through the chaotic and panic filled crowd he couldn't help but smirk a bit as his grand debut in Musutafu was turning out better than he had hoped. As he continued making his way east Reaper would soon notice a dark shadow quickly growing in size as it began blocking out his surrounding light. Peering up Reaper would see Sora already on a massively fast decline towards him with blades drawn. Needing to by himself just a split second more time to try an maneuver Reaper instinctually began stooping down before then going into a tuck and roll. Allowing him to evade his advisary's attempt at a sneak attack by a fraction of a hair. Though he evaded a serious injury Reaper's left thigh was still faintly nicked by the blades point edge creating a light two inch scratch. Rolling to his feet and popping back up in a most graceful manor, Reaper then took a quick glimpse at where Sora's blade cut his pants before then refocusing his gaze back on his opponent. Redrawing his blade Reaper suddenly caused his presence to once again become fully aware to the entire horde of people still frantically trying to escape the area. "I have to hand it to you, that was a nice try. Although a bit of advice when attempting a take surprise take down such as that one, try not to do it in a somewhat well lit area. Otherwise you'll always cast a shadow and thus give away your element of surprise. Or instead come for one of the sides, just an idea." stated Reaper as he tightly grasped the hilt of his sword with his left hand before then taking to a battle stance that allotted him quick, swift movements without giving up swinging power. "Let's see what you can really do."

The pavement fractured as Sora slammed down from the heavens. The loud crack of smashing concrete split the air, accompanied by the slight ringing of the metal in her limbs as they absorbed the force of the impact. Even as the sound of her landing drew the attention of the already panicking people nearby, she drew back from her foe and slipped right into a loose fighting stance. Somehow he'd been able to react at the last moment, leaving her dive to miss by the barest of margins. How had he done that though? Was it a quirk or.... Oh, right. She realized it just as he started running his mouth again, noticing the flashing lights that reflected across his blade. There was no sun above, but the bloody sign boards lit up the whole damn plaza. Oh well, wasn't like she'd actually had a chance to scout the place out ahead of time, and the faintest trace of red on the edge of her knife told well enough just how close she'd been to taking the bastard out.
Speaking of which, now that they weren't in the dark she could actually see the guy. He was the same height as her, dressed up in some fancy getup that didn't seem to fit the whole indiscriminate murderer thing. Well, whatever. The blade he held was certainly impressive, but the man himself didn't look like anything special. Not to her at least, though the terrified civilians seemed to think otherwise. As they scrambled about she could hear them crying out about the killer in their midst. Reaper? Was that what this guy was calling himself?
Wait a minute, didn't she know that name? It did sound a bit familiar, but ...Nah. She must be imagining things.
Sora met the man's challenge with just the same response she'd given to everything else this evening; with a wicked smile that peaked out from beneath her hood. "Be careful a' what yer askin' for, Mate. You'll find I'm all too happy t' oblige!" As she spoke, she stepped in, flipping one of her blades up into the air as the other lashed out wildly toward Reaper. Following the swipe she'd immediately drop down low, tossing the second blade into the air to join the first as she threw her foot out toward her foe's chest, a motion that wasn't quite close enough for the kick to actually connect, but that sent a third knife flying out of her pantleg toward him.

Upon seeing how little Sora's landing affected the her, Reaper couldn't help but wonder just what exactly was this vigilante's quirk. Still none of that matter now seeing as Sora was finally going to get her wish. Still Reaper knew that he'd have to keep a close eye on his surrounding. Seeing as he knew that depending on how long this fight lasted the cops would be able to reach them, and then things would get a bit more complicated. Now that he didn't enjoy the challenge, but still the last thing he wanted to have to deal with was a vigilante, the cops, and any heroes should any of them arrive on the seen.
With his blade drawn and him now poised for a fight, Reaper couldn't help but smirk behind his mask as he was a bit intrigued to see what his opponent could do. Just then Reaper would see Sora's opening move and though it had a bit of a flourish the seasoned villain was unimpress. While santerring forward, added with a bit of graceful flourish, Reaper easily and masterfully maneuvered his sword allowing for the blade to deflect the first two knives. Only to then go into a no handed flip as he dodged the third. Immediately upon landing Reaper then dashed towards Sora. Swinging his sword at her neck as his free hand grabbed two throwing knives out from his waistband before then throwing them at the wanna be hero. Using the swing of his sword as calculated smokescreen for his true attack. Show me that your words earlier, weren't all talk. Thought the ex pro hero turned villain.
As Sora and Reaper engaged in battle the Captain and his mean continued to push against the crowd as they continued to work their way towards their targets.

Sora never stopped moving, even as the knife was just clearing her leg, she was already flowing right into the next motion. It didn't take a genius to tell that her 'attacks' would be blocked. That was kind of the point after all, anyone who couldn't deal with that wasn't much of an opponent at all, no, the point was to more discretely set up the battlefield. Even still, she had to admit that this Reaper guy was damn good; not an ounce of effort or motion wasted. Pure, clean sword work, with incredible focus and precision... Even from what little she'd seen so far, she could tell that in a straight up duel she'd almost definitely lose. A right shame for him then, that Sora didn't ever fight in a way that anyone would dare call straight forward.
She pushed off the ground into a one-arm handstand, swinging her legs up as her other arm reached out to the side. A ratcheting click sounded out and the grappling hook on her arm fired toward a lamp post across the plaza. As the hook flew past the pole, she wrenched her arm back with a twist and braced her foot against the chain, just in time for it to catch the blade that was swinging toward her. The maneuver simultaneously blocked the katana and secured the hook in place, leaving her to deal with the knives. Luckily everything was already in place for that, and the redhead started to retract her grappling hook. The turn from the initial block meant that the chain pulled her into a spin as it reeled in, and her other boot came around in time to kick the first knife up into the air. The second blade just barely nicked her pantleg as she was torn to the side, and away from her foe.
Flipping over in midair, Sora's boots hit the lamp post with a loud clang, causing some nearby onlookers to jump in surprise as she clung to the side of it. Wait... why were there still people here? Sure, most of them had run away, and the smart ones were still running, but there was a decent sized crowd that had formed a perimeter a short distance away from the dueling warriors. Sora rolled her eyes, how stupid could these people... "Oi! All ya useless sods just standin' there faffin' about, get th' bloody hell outta here 'fore ya lose an 'ead!" The vigilante growled as she produced a handful of shotgun shells from her pockets. She then flicked out her final knife, holding it in one hand along with three shells between her fingers, and four more shells in her other hand. "Yer in me god damned way!!!" She shouted angrily as she flicked one of the shells backward and then stomped it into the side of the street lamp.
The harsh impact created a spark and the shell went off with a familiar blue flash, launching Sora forward at high speed back toward Reaper. Along the way, her eyes snapped to one of the blades that had been launched skyward in the opening exchange, just starting to descend again. She really did love it when her opponents played along with her games... Two of the knives she'd been carrying were simple combat blades, leftovers from the order she'd been out on, but the other two were her personal weapons, rugged things made almost entirely of metal, though not all of the same metal. The hilts specifically had a bit of flint on them, so when she swung out and punched the airborne weapon, the impact against one of the shells in her fingers made it spark against the grip in much the same manner as the lamp post. The concussion shell detonated, diverting Sora's path to the side slightly, and sending the blade toward Reaper with all the speed of a bullet.
Sora's new trajectory sent her toward another one of her weapons, specifically her other metal knife, and she scooped it up into her other hand as she skid across the ground. As soon as it was in place she punched the ground and felt her body lurch with the force of another shockwave. This one sent her right back toward her foe at full speed, knife ringing in the air as it's teeth once again aimed for the villain's legs.

Though a bit unconventional, Sora's evade and block was riddled with precision and pinpoint accuracy. For if the want to hero hand muddled even the smallest the detail in his little stunt she'd have found herself in quite the predicament. This persistent wrench actually isn't to bad. A bit much, but still a adequate combatant to say the least. Thought Reaper as he jumped back to put some space between him and Sora, as the vigilante was now stationed on a lamp post yelling at the crowd of people positioned just a bit aways. Even in the midst of combat this clearly disturbed vigilante cares about the safety of the civilians. Can someone say weakness. Thought Reaper as he he knew what his goal was if he wanted to uttlery control this fight, however he still needed to find a way to make it happened. On top of that Reaper wan't liking the fact that there was still one unknown variable about Sora that for all the fighting they had been doing had still yet to surface. The unknown variable being Sora's quirk.
In his battle stance Reaper awaited Sora's move. Then just as the vigilante was in the midst of scooping up her second weapon. A toy ball would bounce straight by Reaper, which was accompanied by the sound of a woman's desperate scream as well as a collective of frightened gasps that echoed throughout the crowd of people watching the fight unfold. As she pleaded for her child to come back the woman was being held back from advancing after her child by two strangers. Seeing as just like the other idiots this woman was dumb enough to remain in this war zone and with her four year old child standing beside her no less. As the ball bounced pass Reaper the oblivious four year old child would suddenly come into view. Completely unaware of what she had just stumbled into the child smiled brightly as she gave chase. In this moment Reaper has to decide what his next move would be, seeing as he knew no matter what he wouldn't have enough time to dodge the knife, for at the very least he could position himself in a way as to not take a vital hit. However that would still leave him to have to deal with Sora and her rapid approach all while being injured. It was was then Reaper knew what he had to do however deplorable it was. So in one fell swoop Reaper grabbed the little girl by the collar of her shirt and used her as human shield, causing the knife Sora threw at him to become embedded in the little girl's chest. Thinking fast Reaper then swiftly turned to the face the direction in which Sora herself was barrelling towards him. Then without warning, or hesitation Reaper immediately threw the horribly wounded child at Sora. Banking on Sora's heoreism, Reaper then once again dove into the crowd. The gathered spectators now offering him cover, only this time Reaper fully expected Sora to come after him. So as walked through the crowd he made sure to keep a better track on his surroundings. For he had no qualms about fighting in a sea of people, especially against a hero as it provided him with leverage. However in a risky/calculating move, Reaper headed in the direction of the oncoming police offers. That vigilante is far to unorthodox to be taken lightly. No doubt she'll follow me in here, and with all these civilians with in arms reach I'll have the upper hand against both that vigilante and the cops. Let see how they fair against me when they have a hand tied behind their back.

As Sora was reaching for her knife, she could already see the scene unfolding in front of her. A small figure appeared in front of Reaper, and the villain wasted no time in seizing it and swinging it to intercept the deadly projectile. A white sundress instantly turned red as the knife found it's mark, and there was only a quiet gasp as child went completely limp. By this time Sora had already launched herself forth, and her teeth clenched as a guttural growl rose in her throat. She didn't need to stop and examine the girl to know that she had died instantly, she was small enough that the shock of the heavy impact would have crippled enough organs to do the job. And so the vigilante didn't slow to catch the child as Reaper cast it aside, no, she sped up, as the world she saw turned the same shade of crimson as the girl's dress.
The growl grew to a bellow, an almost metallic ringing accompanying it as Sora used the falling child as cover to shift. Casting aside the blueprints for the crowbar and cestus, she replaced them with a knife and the last flashbang, and then let her body collapse into the shape of the blade. The knife fell beneath the shadow of the body and it's momentum carried it skidding across the pavement as numerous small cylindrical shapes formed along it's hilt. And then it erupted in blue. The screams of the crowd were drowned out beneath a cacophony of shotgun blasts, firing rapidly enough to mimic the sound of an automatic weapon as flashes of blue rocketed the knife through the air. Sora's path snaked back and forth, barely controlled as the reduced mass allowed her to move faster than most could possibly track with their eyes. Reaper wouldn't have even been able to make it to the crowd, a blue streak flashing past him in an instant before a shape appeared between him and the line people.
What appeared was more beast than man. As Sora shifted back out of the knife form, countless blades erupted from her skin, covering her arms, legs, and back in a hide of jagged metal, with her hands and feet turning to savage claws. Her mane of red hair fell free as a helmet of blades tore through her hood and took on the rough shape of a wild cat, hiding all of her face save for the menacing glint of her emerald eyes and that twisted, furious grin. She didn't waste a moment as a shape formed in her grip and she slammed it into the ground. It had the appearance of a flashbang, but she'd replaced the fuse with a primer, and replaced the payload with the same mix as her concussion shells. It sparked as her claws crushed it against the pavement, and a blinding blue flash exploded outward. The ground beneath her shattered and the civilians behind her were thrown back by the powerful blast, toppling over as they crashed into the ranks behind. Sure, they'd be battered and bruised, but they'd live.
Sora could feel the waves of force reverberating through her body, but she'd turned herself to metal at the moment of detonation to fend off most of the damage, and the blast had thrown her almost straight up into the air. Hanging at the top of her arc, she swapped the grenade out again for the grappling hook, and her bestial form was completed as a length of chain snaked out from her back and formed a tail that was lined with blades. From her vantage, Sora quickly locked her gaze back onto her opponent and shotgun blasts out of her back launched her directly toward Reaper, aiming to tackle him to the ground and plant a claw in his chest.
