PERSONALITY
LIKES MeatBarbecuing Skinning Small Animals Alive Anatomy | DISLIKES Little ChildrenCelery Heroes His Past |
RUMOR/SECRET: | That psychopath enjoys skinning animals alive! He doesn't even eat them half the time! |
Kazumi thinks he is the world's biggest mistake. Every day, just thinking about his past pushes him to be an even worse psychopath that he already is. He doesn't want to kill people, but he will if he has too. He doesn't trash talk when fighting, he barely even speaks when in combat. He is one of those silent guys in battle that don't think they have time to get distracted. Unless, of course, you call him crazy. Then you're in for a hell lot of yelling, knife throwing, and attempts to try and butcher you. Even with a villain, there is still yelling and threats. Kazumi absolutely hates being called crazy because he knows he is, but he can't help it. Just pointing it out makes him mad. Kazumi also likes to skin animals alive for his reason of "science." He's always been fascinated with anatomy, and thinks its fun to dissect the animals alive, which is the main reason for the blood stains. He does not use gloves and says he doesn't need them, and it proves, because he's only gotten sick once from doing this, and even then he got over it in a few hours. Onto the good stuff, he does have a more friendlier side when interacting with villains, not afraid to show his likes and soft spots. He also enjoys grilling for people, and demands feedback for the food he makes. He almost never shows himself out in public because he wears the same clothes all the time, and knows it would be obvious. Needing money, he thieves people who wanders into alleyways. He's not the best thief, but he is decent. Kazumi usually robs hobos, and/or lost people, but back on topic. Overall, this psychopath that hates his past is a "fun" loving chef that doesn't care about being unclean.

"Congratulations!" the doctor exclaimed, looking at the results of six-year old Kazumi's quirk tests. "Your son indeed does have a quirk, and it is certainly interesting," the doctor exclaimed to Emiko Aka, the little boy's lazy mother.
"Well, what are the results?" Emiko said, impatiently. "I don't have all day."
"Of course, madam, please forgive me," the doctor said apologetically. "It seems your son has a more survival like quirk, where its harder for him to starve or get ill, and generally keep him healthy. If young Kazumi trains his quirk, if there's a way to do it, he could end up being immune to some of the major sicknesses out there." As Emiko kept listening, her eyes were glinting with mischievous wonder, and Kazumi looked at his toes. He knew his mother was very lazy and pawned all her chores off to Kazumi's father, Zu Aka, and was probably thinking of some kind of plan to get out of being active. Typical. Staring harder at the ground, he wondered if she even cared about him. She had never taken him out for ice cream or went to the park with him, and she complained every night just about making dinner. She would say she loved him, but never showed it. A small tear trickled down Kazumi's face.
"And that's basically it! If you have any more questions, you can email me," the doctor said, handing his mother a piece of paper.
"Thank you, doctor," she said, smiling. On the way out the door, she dropped the piece of paper in a nearby garbage can.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Get out of the car, we're here," Emiko said, sluggishly getting out. Kazumi followed her inside their little apartment, mostly spotless except in the living room, which was cluttered with garbage. It was usually this way. My mother can't even throw away her gum wrappers, Kazumi thought as he passed a gum box full of paper wads. Sticking his tongue out in disgust, he sat down at the table in the dining room.
"What's for dinner, mom?" he asked in his seat as Emiko pulled out a big bowl of food from the fridge.
"I'm having the leftover potatoes," she said, dumping the cold rocks that were supposed to be "potatoes" onto her plate and putting it in the microwave.
"Okay, well, what about me?" he asked. Taking her plate out of the microwave, Emiko responded,
"You don't need dinner."
"What?!" he whined. "But why???"
"Because," she said, plopping down on the couch. "Your quirk."
"Mom, I can still go hungry!"
"If your father wants, he can feed you when he gets home. Now shut up and stop bothering me." You could clearly tell she was annoyed.
"But-"
Kazumi's mother turned around and gave him "The Glare." It was part of Emiko's quirk that Kazumi hated so much. When it met contact with his eyes, he felt an overwhelming press of guilt.
"Sorry," he mumbled, and walked out of the living room. Slowly waddling to his room, he quietly opened the door so that his mother wouldn't yell at him for interrupting her NFL show, then flopped in his bed and cried, the sounds muffled by his pillow.

Thirteen Years Later
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sitting on a bench in the park, Kazumi's stomach growled with hunger. Damn it. His mother was still lazy thirteen years after and hadn't bothered to pay for his college. He'd done a bit of medical work in high school, and it had gotten him college credit. But noooo, pay for it yourself! Besides, she could barely afford schooling in the first place because she didn't even work. Suddenly, an apple fell from a tree right in his lap. Thanks, quirk he thought. Now at least I won't die. He took a bite from the apple, hatred growing in his heart. His father was dead and his mother didn't care about him. Savoring the last bite of the apple, he dropped the core on the ground, not caring he was littering. He only had one thing on his mind.
With a grim look on his face as he walked off, he whispered to himself, "I'll fucking kill my mother if it's the last thing I do."

THE ARMORY

QUIRK & SKILLS
Survivalist
TYPE: Emitter
RANK/LEVEL: B+
SUMMARY:
It is a protective orb with certain instincts that is a hollow dome around the user 3 feet away from them. The quirk has basic instinct to find food/water within his reach radius (3 feet) and if he is hurt, it will try and find some sort of aid if available within said radius. It cannot heal by itself. It will deflect any virus, bacteria, UV rays from the sun, and small things on the floor/air that are said distance away from him will be pushed back by 50cm or if thrown, be deflected with the same force was thrown at him. Any large objects will hit as normal but not do damage as long as within the tolerance limit. Poisons/other gasses can be filtered for 3 posts, but beyond this it will start to leak through, by 4th post 50% of the poison, and by 5th post normally. If Kazumi is struck with a physical attack, it will shield the damage going to the user. If Kazumi is struck with an elemental attack, it will shield the damage from going to the user. It can counter attack with a slashing movement in the direction the attack came from, with a reach of 6 feet, the force and sharpness of attack being like a normal human swinging a sword. Underwater, it will make a 3 foot oxygen bubble around him, which is enough for 3 posts of underwater movement before he runs out of oxygen.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
(credit to Jun) User is constantly out of breath and is really fragile. Ongoing protection orb cannot phase through floors/walls/anything solid even within the protection range. Inside the 3 foot dome is a neutral zone where the quirk does not protect user. Any attacks done from inside this area are not protected. E.g If someone burst through a wall he was walking next to/burrowed underground and popped out right behind him. The most it can hold back is a small truck’s amount of physical force. Any more will push him back normally, or if it drops on him (or he is under water) flatten him. Damage beyond said limit will inflict onto his person as normal. The most if can hold back for elemental forces is as follows: Fire:1370c (Enough to melt steel), Electric: Up to electrical damage that normally could cut through small trucks, Ice: -90c. Any more will go through the barrier, and hit him for the remaining damage and effects that would normally be done. While it may not damage the user, they will still feel temperature changes in the atmosphere and from attacks. It is mitigated by 50%, so for example if it is 50 degrees outside, they will feel it like 25 degrees. This will mean extreme temperatures will still be felt by the user like anyone else even if it does not damage them. User is a normal human, their actual body far more frail and unable to take much strenuous movement, around 50% less than a normal adult person in both areas. When the user is KOed, this quirk will stop working. Multiple sources of attacks at once will overwhelm the barrier and only protect as much as it could if everything was one attack. And if user sees anyone as an ally/not of harm to them at all, the quirk will not activate at all.

Throwing Accuracy
RANK/LEVEL: C
SUMMARY:
Kazumi is fairly skilled with throwing accuracy. His aim is better than average, and when he throws an item it can hit it as long as it doesn't move too much. Unpredictable movement he struggles with, and will probably not be able to hit it. If the target is moving in one direction, though, and is moving at a speed less than 50 mph, there's a chance he'll hit it.
Grilling
RANK/LEVEL: C-
SUMMARY:
Kazumi enjoys and is experienced in grilling! He knows every level of rawness in meat, how long you grill each type of meat for, etc, and it comes out tasty every time!
Operationist
RANK/LEVEL: B
SUMMARY:
Kazumi is experienced in operating, as in surgeries and handling body parts. He is extremely careful with any organ and organelle when dissecting and any type of surgery. He knows what do do if there is a problem in the body, and he knows how to fix it (but usually doesn't, provided that he skins and dissects animals).
