Sora felt the resistance to her movements as Rise fought against her control. It was a perfectly natural reaction of course, even Izzy had mentioned how unnerving it was the first time and...... You know, it was real hard to think with all these questions buzzing around. "Right, first of all, ya don't need to talk out loud, can hear ya plenty fine. As for what an' how... Bloody hell, what did they say again? I'm a s... s... Si... Symbi.... Oh sod it, I'm in yer 'ead an' yer in mine. s'long as we're close enough, me an' you are the best a' mates, what's mine is yours an' yours is mine." As Sora did her best to answer the questions, she could feel Rise's confusion and discomfort at the sudden presence of her new appendages. Hell, it probably hadn't even occurred to her yet what she could do with them. Truth be told she'd never linked with a quirkless before, she imagined that the sudden power would likely take a bit more getting used to than with her normal partners, but unfortunately they didn't have the luxury of time here.
"See, that's th' problem right there." She cut off Rise as the girl started to ask questions again. "Still tryin' t' think too much. If ya just trust yer instincts, you'll find ya already know th' answers." God, why was this always so hard to explain? As the girl finally started moving, Sora instinctively stepped in to support the motions. The first few steps were shaky, but as she adapted Rise would find the act of running to be easier than normal, her body reacting as though it had been running track for years. It wasn't as though a whole bunch of new muscles were there, just that Sora's body knew how to move properly, and so now hers did too. "See lass, might be a bit hard for ya t' grasp, but you're plenty powerful right now. Everythin' ye saw me do? That's all yours." As she spoke she adjusted the shotgun barrels ever so slightly, just enough to bring the sensation to Rise's attention. "Use it, else wise that bloke's gonna get away."

Rise 's first thought to this was that it happened to be impossible, there was no way the other woman could be inside her head. This instinctual response however was rapidly defeated by the evidence which faced her and the fact that the world she dwelt it was filled with a wide variety of super heroes. It did not however stop her from responding. "That's crazy, why pick me?" A Quirkless high school student who's only real power lay in her singing voice and that she suspected would not convince a hardened criminal to repent and give up his evil ways. The foreign power was alien and surprisingly discomforting, a part of her alarmed and a tiny bit horrified by the new additions to her body. No wonder some of the kids when they suddenly developed their Quirks freaked out a bit. Rise never had that problem before, till today with the sudden gift of a Quirk, even if temporary.
"You make it sound like I am the protagonist in an anime." Rise countered as she tried to get used to moving in this new form. "That's crazy. I'll get us both killed." She argued, wondering if either of them stood any chance or if this was some fever dream of a student who took a hard blow to the head. "What makes you think I would be any good fighting that guy? I've never fought a villain before in my life." Rise knew her thoughts and questions were logical, her concerns were important, but she was the only one placed to do something about the villain. She now had the power, she should be able to do this right? She swallowed, if she did not well... Rise only needed to hold out till other heroes arrived on the scene as backup. What was it that the UA Students declared to be their motto? Plus Ultra right? "Plus Ultra." Rise said before launching herself with a blast from the shotguns. The force and sudden speed of it surprised her and she moved with far less grace than the hero had. But she was moving now. "Any tips on how we beat this guy? Since you know he almost killed me and wrecked the station, I'd rather not take out a building." Rise managed to smile, nervous and uncertain but a smile all the same. "Plus dying would really upset my fans and my Grandmother... She would kill me if that happened."

"You happen t' see any other potential volunteers about? Sorry lass, but the lot what had any sense got the 'ell out 'fore th' walls started fallin'." Sora could understand the girl being a bit incredulous about the whole ordeal, but it was proving a bit harder than expected to get the point across. "I'd say I don't know what th' bloody hell you're on about, but I do 'cause you do, see? It don't make a damn bit a' difference if ya know how t' fight, 'cause I do. An' I'm damn good at it." In spite of her complaints and second guessing, the girl was still moving forward, so Sora at least had to give her credit for that... But the movements weren't at all confident, like she was a stranger in her own body. Sure, it wasn't quite the body she was used to, but you'd think that she'd never run before with how clumsy it was.
As they approached the edge of the platform, Rise seemed to finally build up the courage to fire off a concussion blast. Shouting out that silly school's motto forced Sora to resist rolling 'her' eyes, but at least they were finally getting some speed. As they sailed over the edge and down the tracks, the former hero continued to make adjustments to Rise's form, allowing them to land more or less cleanly on the ground before continuing down the tunnel. But the actions still felt awkward; Rise was still fighting against it slightly, like she was trying to learn the power herself rather using the knowledge that was already available to her. "Yeah, got some advice. Stop tryin' to think for yer self. I said before t' clear that 'ead a' yours. When ya move, ya feel that twitch, like yer arms an' legs are tryin' t' move themselves? Let it happen. Stop decidin' what ya can an' can't do an' just do it. You already know how t' do it all. Not just movin', but fightin' an' even usin' this quirk. If ya' keep tryin' t' do it yerself, Seto'll thrash ya right proper." As if to prove the point, Sora fired off a blast of her own, launching them up onto the ceiling before bouncing down to the wall and back to the tracks again, all without ever breaking stride. "As for th' arse 'imself, you've my memories for that. Take a look 'fore we finish catchin' up. Looking forward she could make out a figure hobbling down the the tracks in the distance, and there was really only one person that it could be. "I'd say ya got 'bout fifteen seconds."

"The joys of being the only option available." This was not good, at list from Rise's perspective. Even if she did have all these new powers and abilities, how long would her body last with them? Besides she was a singer not some superhero. She did not have the qualities of a hero, sure she helped people but she never actually fought with a villain before. It had never been a realistic option or goal for her to achieve. She resisted the urge to say, that if she was so good why did she need Rise's body for, but decided against it. She knew it was just nerves, but these were more logical than feeling anxious before a concert started. This was fighting a villain, she could get seriously hurt or worse. Wait was any of this even legal? After all she had no hero licence or registered Quirk. But she did not exactly have the time to apply for permission, a hero acted right? They had to do what no one else was able to do and who was to say if she sat this fight out if the villain would be stopped at all. If not her then who else?
Her words did not make much sense to Rise, of course she needed to think for herself surely? If she did not how else was she supposed to fight, throw herself wildly into the fight and hope for the best? It was weird having her body move and act in ways she did not directly control. The sensation sent a cold sensation done her spine. "How do I do that? I don't know how to access your memories, besides that initial flood of... Of whatever that was when you first invited yourself in." It was evident that Rise, though friendly and supportive by nature, she struggled when it came to sharing something inside her mind and form. Almost as if an instinctual nugget of her personality rebelled against it, or maybe that fragment was caused by her grave doubts about her own sense of self. Wasn't this just another image, another piece that people would assume was the real Rise? It could join the stage crafted version, the version the world new and loved, alongside her aspect at high school as the famous music idol and the before everything version, with the shy and nervous Rise. The thought did little to please her. "Can we just shoot him from range? Drop a giant net or something on him?" Rise suggested, wondering if this form, this Quirk could do such a thing in the first place.

I don't need it. If ya recall Miss Rise, you're doin' this so ya don't get flattened while ya wait for help. Can't carry ya with a ruined arm, so yer carryin' me instead.... kinda. Even if Rise hadn't vocalized the words, Sora could still hear them buzzing around her head. They shared thoughts, feelings, everything; two minds working in perfect unison... or at least that was how it was supposed to be. Sora was certain by now that something wasn't quite right, and it wasn't just that this was the girl's first time experiencing the link. It was as if the she was forcibly isolating herself from the former hero's mind. Rather than just weathering the initial flow of information, did she instead end up just blocking it all out? Sora wasn't sure, none of this had happened before with Izzy or any of the other people she connected with.
"Look lass, ya need t' get this through yer 'ead real fast. Right now you're not 'you', you're 'us'. An' 'us' is a hell a' lot stronger than 'you', or even 'me' if I'm honest. 'cept you put up a bloody wall in here that's makin' that real difficult. It's not just me that can mess yer body. That sword in yer 'and? That's me. You can control it, change it." She visualized the 'blueprints' for the sword, shotgun, and grappling hook that she had stored in her quirk as she spoke, hoping that Rise was at least in tune enough to see them. "You wanna see my memories? it's just th' same as seein' any a' yours. Ya just gotta-"
As they bounded forward one more time, Seto spun around. "Ah bloody hell, sorry 'bout this." Realizing that Rise still wasn't likely ready, Sora took full control for a split second. A blast of blue from her shoulder made the girl instantly change directions in midair, darting to the side just as a bolt of lightning lanced past. She landed in a skid and passed the reigns back over as soon as he feet were planted, feeling the mental friction of the forced maneuver against her psyche. "I can't keep doin' that without ruinin' both of us, so like it or not yer gonna have t' fight now. Guns don't work so well, quirk shields 'im. Net might work, but don't got one. We got chains, but that means gettin' zapped. We gotta either wait 'til he fires a big one an' hit 'im right after, or get in close an' overwhelm 'im." That's really all there was to it, and if Rise couldn't quite manage to adjust to the situation, Sora would just have to jump back out and finish the job herself...
"What new devilry is this?" Seto shouted as he realized the figure before him wasn't quite who he thought it was. The fact that he was now looking at a teenage girl didn't seem to give him much pause though; he recognized those eyes and that was enough for him to see her as his foe. Electricity once again surging around his hands, he raised an arm toward the girl and fired again.

So this was more a any port in a storm kind of deal, though Rise would accept and admit that part of her desire to accept was to not be crushed flat. But also by her acceptance, she would, at least in theory be able to help her fight her foe. The pair of them had managed to lay waste to a station, yet despite Rise's own call, there appeared to be no real sign of police or hero reinforcements. The latter, at least from Rise's perspective would be most welcome. "You make it sound like this is meant to be easy." Rise countered quickly, this was a lot to take in and even more to accept. "How do I do that? Just think and it does? Or do I need to do some magic trick?" Rise was trying to understand and make sense of the information which she found herself presented with. It felt terrible, almost sickening when she lost control of her own body, Rise could felt as though her soul shudder in response. Her body managed to avoid the assault due to the actions of the hero who's Quirk Rise struggled to deal with and use effectively.&
Rise resisted the urge to be sick when she felt the reigns to her own body being returned. Fortunately, she was not, as that probably would have been a fatal mistake to make in front of a villain. "So much for plan A." She muttered to the hero who shared her body and whose Quirk she also shared. It was just a case of trying to think of some tactic or strategy to win. She could think of a few things from what memories and knowledge Rise understood from Sora as well as from what Sora suggested. She did not get chance to reply to the villain before he unleashed the attack. Rise barely managed to avoid the attack, landing awkwardly as she did so but she managed to roll to her feet and by some miracle kept a grip on her sword. So far this fight was not really going well, especially since the sight of a powered up music icon did little to deter the foe.
What sort of things did a hero say to a villain? Rise was not a hero, heck she had no legal capacity to arrest or bring him in what so ever. Rise hesitated unsure as to how to attack, she knew a hero needed to act, to fight, to do something, anything... But Rise was unsure. This was not a movie or a video game, this happened to be real life.

"It is 'sposed t' be that easy!" Sora fired back with irritation. She could turn a first year hero student into a fully trained combat veteran, hell she had done it before when... when... the memory vanished the instant she started to grasp it, was it even hers? Well whatever, she knew how her abilities were supposed to work. "Don't ya feel anything from that sword? Extra senses, feelings ya ain't used to? If ya can, try t' focus on it a bit, maybe it'll help ya actually open up." She offered with an exasperated tone. If this didn't improve fast she'd just have to deal with Seto herself. That wasn't exactly an idea she hated, but it would certainly be harder fighting with a limb down than if this girl could just get her act together.
As the second bolt of lightning came, Sora prepared to take control again, bracing mentally for the shock, but Rise managed it herself this time, just barely rolling clear in time. The Vigilante did her best to adjust for the motion, but the landing was still a bit rough. Still, she got clear and Seto's wounds made him sluggish enough that the attack had left an opening. All they had to do was jump in and tackle the bastard to the ground while he was still recharging, and.... why weren't they moving? Rather than taking advantage of the chance to end the fight quickly, Rise was sitting completely still, seemingly locked with indecision. "Oi, lass, what are ya doin'!? You've gotta move!" She shouted in vain, but the moment passed by regardless, wasted.
As Seto reset his stance with a pained wince, he brought his hand to bear on Rise again but stopped short of attacking this time. He hesitated for a second, an expression of confusion passing over his face as he noticed that the girl was frozen in place. "...You are no demon." He said with more than a bit of uncertainty, eyeing the girl before him carefully. "You have the demon's eyes and you have the demon's powers, but you are not the demon. There is fear and doubt in there, it has neither of those." The electricity that had been building around his hand faded and he lowered his arm, but still held his combat stance as he delivered an ultimatum. "I give you this one chance to leave with your life, I have no time to deal with foolish children playing pretend."

"Well it is not that easy for me." Rise snapped back frustrated. If other people could do such things, why the heck was she unable to? Unfortunately despite her growing annoyance and frustration, both at herself and the hero who now shared her mind, she did not have the time to process those emotions. There were more immediate concerns, like not being killed or reduced to ash by the villain. "No... I... No I don't." She responded quickly, her thoughts more occupied with not ending up electrocuted by their foe. She did not have the time to start searching for feelings and extra senses.
In spite of the hero's words, Rise found herself unable to move. "Just give me a second." She shouted mentally back at the voice in her head. This was... This was difficult, all of Rise's self doubt and worry about her identity, about who she was and whether anyone would actually like her or not were perhaps serving to interfere with her actions, impair her judgments as a hero. The moment past before Rise could decide what to do, on where to attack or what to attack with. Should she even attack? All she needed to do was keep him busy right?
"I'm not filled with fear." Rise countered, adopting what she hoped to be a fighting stance. The doubt part, well she could not argue with him there sadly, even though she wanted to. Rise had far too much self doubt, self loathing and just doubt in general to effectively counter it. She had hoped and maybe fooled herself into believing that she was getting better. But clearly that was not the case. A hero would have fought back, took the villain down. But Rise? Rise did nothing, not sure what was the best action to take.

Seto raised an eyebrow at the girl's response. "And yet you still stand frozen. It is certainly possible to be both courageous and fearful at the same time, I should know. I'll be the first to say that my foe terrifies me, but you are not them." In spite of his offer, the girl stood her ground and even brandished her weapon at him, a fact that made his expression harden as an annoyed sigh passed his lips. "This is not your battle, little girl. And yet by refusing to withdraw you force my hand. I do not enjoy this but I will not hesitate." Seto punctuated his statement by clenching his fists, causing lightning to spark along his arms and legs. That was the final warning he gave before his body burst into motion; a shower of sparks exploding off his feet as he closed the distance to Rise in an instant.
Sora watched as the man lashed out with a lightning infused fist. Seto was moving as full speed, and unless Rise suddenly felt like breaking down her mental barriers and fully accepting the vigilante's quirk there was no way she could deal with this sort of assault on her own. She didn't like the odds on that sort of miracle, and so she wouldn't bet on them. The idol would find the sword in her grasp jolt itself to the side, moving to intercept the blow as the shape began to shift. There was a bright flash as metal hit flesh and sparks flew in every direction. Sora could feel the strain of the impact against her body but Seto was already pulling back for a second strike. She didn't have any time to waste worrying about it, turning the front of the blade into a shotgun barrel and blasting just before the man could make contact again. There was no concussion wave this time, and Seto flinched as the 12 gauge shot splashed against his barrier. The gunfire only slowed him down however, and Sora forced Rise to release the weapon as it continued to twist and grow. Once free from the girl's grasp Sora finished her transformation, taking on an almost animalistic form. From head to toe she was covered in blades that wove together like some sort of spiked hide, arms and legs twisted into the same metal claws as before while a pair of chains sprouted like tails from her back, ending in bladed tips. Her head was completely encased in a helm that took the shape of a wildcat, complete with a mane of her long fiery hair.
Taking up a position in front of Rise, the beast caught Seto's strike in it's claw, emerald eyes glaring out at the man from behind the mask of steel. In an instant his own hardened gaze had practically vanished, eyes going wide at his true foe's sudden appearance. With a growl she tightened her grip and pulled him in closer before ramming her shoulder into into his chest, another shotgun blast causing sparks to fly as the impact against his barrier sent him reeling back. "Sorry lass, but I don't think yer cut out for this." Although Rise would find her body returning to normal and Sora's quirk out of her reach, their minds were still linked and their senses were still shared. "I appreciate th' effort, but you're clearly not ready for this, an' a brawl is hardly th' time t' be soul searchin'. So 'ave a seat an enjoy th' show. Who knows, maybe if you start pokin' around in here a bit you'll figure somethin' out an' learn a few things." The fact of the matter was that Seto was right, this wasn't her fight and even if she wasn't in the best shape, there was no reason to keep the girl in harms way now that they'd caught up, not when she couldn't use the power properly.
Sora took a step forward, her clawed feet scraping against the train tracks as she kept her eyes on Seto. The man wiped a bit of blood from the corner of his mouth and rose back to his feet, returning the stare as he fell back into a fighting stance. "So you finally show your true form, demon." Sora nodded as she continued forward, hunched over like an animal ready to pounce. Although one arm still hung limply at her side, the chain tails darted menacingly from side to side with their bladed points aimed at her opponent. "Aye, figured it was about time t' finish this once an' for all. I hope yer ready mate, 'cause I ain't holdin' back anymore."

Rise was not sure how to respond to the mini speech offered by the villain. Surely one of the heroes would have come up with some effective counter argument, a defiant few lines before jumping into the battle. But she did not know what to say or how to deal with it. As Rise, a normal Quirkless girl, she knew how to respond, get out of the way and take cover till the heroes and or law enforcement arrived to deal with the situation. As someone who now found themselves unexpectedly with a Quirk and the consequences of dealing with that... She did not know. Maybe if she had a Quirk of her own, this might have been easier, but Rise did not and there was no point in wishing for things to be different. Things were they way they were, she merely needed to deal with the hand life dealt her as best she could manage to.
She braced herself for the attack, only to find the blade suddenly jolt to the side intercepting the strike. The impact was incredible and seemingly the sword with a life of it's own shifted into a shotgun barrel that fired at her attacker. Rise dropped the weapon, staggering back a few steps before she noticed that Sora started to transform into some kinda of bladed animal. It was hard to tell really what it happened to be, some kind of cat, though it was hard to tell through blurring vision.
The sensation of her body returning to normality was for Rise quite awful. She found herself down on one knee, trying not to give into the nausea that launched a sudden and unexpected assault. "You don't say..." Rise managed to counter weakly. A tiny part of her was ashamed of her performance of being given a Quirk, that she whether consciously or not turned it down. But a greater part was relieved that she no longer had it, no longer needed to try and rush to understand it, to access parts she could not seem able to. Who knows maybe she would wake up in her bed and this was all some terrible dream that her psychiatrist no doubt might be interested greatly in. Then again even if this was reality, they might be interested in it. They had assured Rise that she was getting better and going back to school was going to be helpful for her. Instead Rise now doubted what the psychiatrist had told her about getting better or maybe she had been rushing it because she wanted to be better, despite not being so.
After today, she was going to have to move schools. Whether the villain was beaten or not today, the music icon had drawn attention to herself like never before. Highlighting her personal vulnerability and potentially showcasing a hidden Quirk as it were to the world. "Give them hell." Rise told Sora, that was about the most she was able to say and do right about now. Better to let the pair of the duke it out than get involved any more than she already unfortunately had.

"Oh I plan to."
At Rise's encouragement Sora couldn't help but show a twisted smile before bounding forward at full speed. Seto's response was instantaneous, throwing his palm forward and letting loose a wild bolt of lightning. For all the man had improved his quirk and technique since this little hunt of theirs started, he was admittedly rather predictable in his reactions. The beast twisted to the side and plunged one of her tails into the ground. Tugging on the anchor to adjust her trajectory, she could feel the static running over her hide as the bolt missed by scant inches. Going with the momentum of the turn, she planted her good hand on the ground and pivoted while firing a concussion burst from her palm. As the blast propelled her into the air she wrenched the tail free and spun, lashing out against Seto with the bladed appendage. A shower of sparks and a small jolt of electricity accompanied the blow as the edge slammed into the man's chest, but the barrier protected him from the worst of the damage.
Sora was far from done though. Continuing to rise, the vigilante's feet hit the roof of the tunnel and she immediately fired a double shotgun blast out of her shoulders at the villain to keep him pinned down. She was rewarded with another flash of electricity before firing both of her tails out toward the ground on either side of her foe. With a hiss the chains began to retract and the beast slingshotted herself toward the man, having just enough time to flip over in the air before both of her clawed feet slammed into his chest. At the moment of impact their faces were only a few inches apart and Sora's wicked emerald gaze locked onto Seto's cold steel eyes as they went wide. Barrier or no, he'd be feeling this one. A pair of simultaneous concussion blasts from her feet cause them to separate, crushing Seto down into the tracks while with a pained grunt she went rocketing toward the far wall.
Another lightshow of sparks filled the tunnel as Seto hit the ground and bounced, somehow maintaining the presence of mind to roll up onto one knee ever as the impacts racked his body. The swift assault had left him momentarily stunned, but the energy from the attacks was feeding back into his barrier, causing a torrent of electricity to flow over his body. As he shook the stars from his eyes he immediately struck out toward the beast with everything he could muster in a storm of lightning. The first bolt went wild, striking the wall a few feet to Sora's side as she clung to the surface and the moment seemed to drag on for an eternity. If Rise was getting any feedback at all from the connection, she'd feel the practically euphoric rush of adrenaline that was flooding the former hero's body, the pure joy at being in the heart of the fight, and the unshakable confidence that told her she couldn't possibly lose as her opponent reacted exactly the way she'd wanted him to. She kicked off as the second bolt streaked past, this one only missing by a few inches as the wall behind her bloomed into an expanding wave of blue.
Now rocketing toward her foe, Sora used a quick blast to the side to dodge the third bolt and then shifted back into sword form. The sudden change in size made the fourth and fifth strikes go wide and another quick course correction avoided the sixth. The seventh managed to graze her and knock her trajectory down toward the ground, but a well timed shotgun blast made the blade pop back up into the air as it bounced off the pavement, avoiding the eighth and ninth bolts in the process. As the blade hit the top of it's arc, Sora once again transformed into the beast, the tenth and final bolt just barely missing the vigilante's head before she fired one last blast of her own. She came down to Seto's side, claws raking across his chest with a final blinding burst of electricity. As he stumbled back from the impact, barrier spent after the last ditch assault, Sora spun around and stepped in close. Acting purely on instinct he tried to swipe back at her, but she caught his arm and stepped past, planting a foot on the back of his calf and firing a concussion shell at point blank to shatter the limb and send him sprawling to the ground with a cry of agony.

After what to Rise seemed to be a dazzling display of combat, the fight finally and mercifully seemed to be over with the last blow unleashed by the hero, who had for some reason or other briefly given her a Quirk and the powers of a hero. She managed to get to her feet, legs feeling as though they were made of jelly. Her heart pounded in her chest and honestly, she wanted nothing more in the world right now than to go home. Maybe it was a cowardly thing, maybe it was because of her own poor mental condition, but she just wanted to go home now. Go home, lock the door and hide away from everything, but somehow she doubted the world would give her anything like that. There would be questions, from the Police, from Heroes, from Reporters, from her friends, from everyone and seemingly anyone. "Is it over?" The Idol asked quietly, not quite daring to approach either the victorious hero or the seemingly defeated villain. That said, nor was she quite ready to make a retreat and head back to the station. Surely the police or someone should be there by now right? A civilian really should not be so close to a fight like this. She would only get in the way, slow everyone down and get herself or others hurt.

Sora's chest heaved up and down as she stood in an animalistic hunch over Seto's collapsed form, The metal of her hide clanking together softly with each movement. Her emerald eyes glared down at the man for several long moments, but from the blank expression on his face it seemed that the shock and pain of having his femur shattered had knocked him unconscious. It was a good fight, but a part of her, one that wasn't particularly quiet, wanted to just end the man right then and there. One more corrupt piece of scum off the streets forever. One less monster trying to claw his way up in the world with money and violence. On less potential killer on the loose... Her claws twitched as the temptation rose, but a voice made her stop short.
It was pretty hard to remember you weren't alone when the only other person around was in your head. The former hero glanced over her shoulder at Rise, still sending thoughts directly to her mind rather than speaking aloud. "Aye, it's over, bastard ain't gettin' up any time soon." Or ever, potentially, with the sort of damage that she'd done to his leg. A shudder ran through her body as she slowly stood back up straight, the metal that encased her body retracting back into her skin and returning her to normal, except that her jacket was torn to shreds and her right arm remained as a warped, slightly charred blade beneath her elbow. That one would be easier to fix with a hammer and anvil than it would bandages, she figured.
As she checked herself over, Sora couldn't help but feel all sorts of confused emotions coming through the bond between her and the girl. If she hadn't been so used to the flow and her will hadn't been so strong, it was the sort of shock that could have easily overwhelmed her, but instead she turned fully toward Rise to look her in the eye. Exerting a bit of mental pressure to try to calm her down, she approached the girl and knelt down in front of her to meet her at eye level. "Deep breaths lass, deep breaths. Ya did fine, ain't many that woulda' stepped up t' th' plate like that. S'alright t' be scared an' confused, you ain't a hero, you ain't expected t' be neither. That's my job, ya helped me out t'day. Don't be forgettin' that."
In distance, Sora could hear the sound of sirens starting to echo down the tunnel from the station. With a roll of her eyes, she shot Rise a grin and climbed back to her feet. "Figures, just like th' Rozzers t' show up once everythin's settled. Me an' them don't get on too well, hope ya don't mind if I make meself scarce. Just tell 'em I was chasin' after a 'nother one, eh?" Confident that Seto wouldn't be causing any trouble even if he did manage to regain consciousness any time soon, Sora turned and started further down into the tunnel, offering a wave over her shoulder and one more mental message "Hope ya don't take this th' wrong way lass, but I hope I never run into ya again." Unable to break the bond on her own, Rise would have until she got far enough away for the connection to fade on it's own to say anything back, then she'd have her head to her self again. It was a right shame she couldn't figure it out during the brief encounter, but hopefully the girl could take something away from it besides the fear and confusion.
