Ryouta is a fairly average height for a young male, with his weight signifying the more athletic portions of his body. Sporting some muscle, its easy to tell that he's a very fit individual with a bit of a slim side to him. He's far from delicate in his body frame, being more athletic and agile by both looks and actuality than anything else- relying mostly on agility and athletic ability to get things done. Light hair adorned his head, combed well and parted off to the left side of his head, something that is not replicated at all under the guise of his alias. Light, olive (almost neon) green eyes stand out like a cat's, giving a slightly eerie but equally beautiful appearance to him-- something that's exercised by tech goggles while under his alias, which give his eyes a far more emerald and feline-like appearance.
Despite the kindness radiating off his appearance and bright, rounded eyes, he's not really the most out there person as one would expect him to be. Rather reserved and up most of the night, small bags have formed under Ryouta's eyes that while noticeable, aren't dark to the point of worrying. Some say that he has a model-like appearance, having no blemishes across his body and smooth pale skin that seems perfect for such a job. The only thing decorating his body seems to be the few light scars decorating his upper abdomen and other, clothed, parts of his body such as the legs, chest or torso. Hips are particularly wide, with a soft pretty-boy face and decent proportions.
Under his alias, Ryouta changes his outfit severely from the more casual bright outfits he commonly wears. Sporting all black, human ears are hidden behind hair to make room for the clipped-on ears of a feline over his blond hair. A strapless mask adorned his face, designed with tech goggles that naturally switch to night vision when things get too dark, designed to make his pupils look like slits, and give his eyes a much more emerald appearance. Armor covers most of his body, designed with pockets around his joints to give him freedom of movement and easy agility capabilities, making sure the armor is light enough to get that job done. Gloves cover his hands, with sharp claws at the end of it. A utility belt rests at his hip, a whip attached to the utility belt that is designed in placement to look like a feline's tail.

PERSONALITY
LIKES FreedomWarm beverages Helping people Comics | DISLIKES RestrictionAll nighters Feeling helpless Horror/Slasher |
RUMOR/SECRET: | "I heard that Bakeneko is related to a villain. He shares the same name.". |
Ryouta isn't normally the most open and outspoken person, preferring to keep secrets to himself. He doesn't like concerning other people, regardless on how much they actually care about him. Yet, at his core, Ryouta deeply cares about people and will do anything to protect others, make sure they're okay, and make a valiant effort to make sure those who hurt them come to justice. Valiant is not an overstatement when describing him, and while he does fear things, it's not hard for him to overcome them and step paste them in order to do the right thing. That being said, there aren't many things he's actually scared of, with the most important fear of his being the loss of people close to him. He's quick with decision making, a very decisive indevidual, who's got a good sense of intuition to him.
However, Ryouta is very reserved. It's not much of one to talk to others about his feelings, and certainly hates the idea of trying to garner sympathy from others. To him, he's stubborn to a fault, and believes that he can handle things himself without needing to get others involved with his problems. They're his problems after all, not anyone else's. All that being said, Ryouta has his own faults, stemming from a family with villainy in their blood after all. He's devious, able to manipulate and twist things around to his own advantage- able to utilize dirty tactics. These things he'd prefer not to do, but is more than capable of pulling off decently.
Competition is something that Ryouta strives for, being a competetive person leads it to be harder for him to work in groups. He takes things, like other heroes, as a challenge to him- and as a means for himself to get better as a result. He's oppertunistic in nature, takin on chances and oppertunities presented to him regardless of how exacty moral or legal it is, despite his more benevolent behaviorisms. Speaking of behavior, he's relatively sassy- as in, taunting his enemies, attempting to provoke them, and overall talking teasingly towards those he likes. That being said, this behavior seems to only come forward under his guise of Bakeneko, as he's much more polite and well behaved as a civilian.

BACKGROUND HISTORY
PLACE OF BIRTH/HOMETOWN: | Shinjuku, Japan |
PARENTS: | Yuuna Ikeda [mom], Kuro Ikeda [dad] |
SIBLINGS: | not applicable |
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: | not applicable |
OTHER: | 2 cats, one white one black |
Ryouta was born to a wealthy family as an only child, with his parents often being gone for work and other stuff he was often alone during the day to find time to occupy himself. Most of the time servants would come in to keep him company, with comics and video games provided to him to keep him company. His family, despite showering him with gifts to make up for their absence, was very much the loving type. His mother would always make sure to take her time when she got home to give her child company, despite his father often working late shifts. Ryouta would help with dinner and preparations, teaching him responsibility at an early age in order to help and also take care of himself.
However, seclusion from his parents never leads to anything worthwhile. Due to his upbringing, he would often be closed off from others at school. He wasn't entirely sure how to communicate, leading him to being far more reserved and not wanting to cause any troubles towards others. He was independent in the wrong way, and the teacher's noticed this-- and he was offered a program his parents could take him to in order to help with this social problem. It didn't work out very well, as around this time period Ryouta's quirk mingled with his stress, leading him to accidentally using it without intending to, leading him into trouble quite often for letting it get out of control. After all, while he didn't find out until he was approached about it by his Uncle, his family seemed to hold a darker secret outside the immediate family.
His Uncle decided to take up this opportunity to teach the kid, give him lessons on how to fight and utilize his ability. Even though it wasn't really effective, he did learn some skills from this training. Upon reaching his teen years however, he discovered more about his uncle than he wanted to- his Uncle admitting to be a crime lord within the city to him, and for him to be the heir to take over his title of BakenekoAt first he didn't really care too much, after all he had a strong bond with his uncle. It wasn't until later down the road he would change his mind. He was never a bad person, and upon attempting medical courses in his start of high-school would his mindset begin to shift to wanting to help people. This lead to conflicting problems with him and his uncle, which ultimately decided his fate as a whole.
He stomped way from "Bakeneko" after an argument over moral grounds, however, he later decided to apologize in his own way. Over the years, he studied heroism, however the way he was taught and the overall way that 'hero' seemed to work in reality... he didn't want that, he didn't like those restrictions. Instead he stole the mantle Bakeneko from his Uncle, becoming a vigilante and deciding to bring bad luck to villains, rather than become a villain himself.

THE ARMORY
⚔️ Hero Suit: Ryouta's suit is designed with air-flexible armor that can withstand blows from pistol shots of bullet rounds, along with anything similar to that of a pistol gun. His chest piece is made with a similar material to a police's bullet proof vest, with plated armor covering his shoulders, elbows and other joints like pads. His bell is attached to a zipper, and does not make any jingling noises, but is made with the same sturdy alloy that makes up his armor plating. His armor is capable of withstanding a punch from a super-powered blow, however, supernatural elements are another story, as his suit is not designed to take damage from extreme elements.
⚔️ Razor Claws: His claws are sharp razors, built into his gloves like weapons. Being scratched by it is like being scratched by a linoleum knife per each claw, as they're about as sharp as it.
⚔️ Whip A black whip made of latex, designed for both restraint and pain of the other person. This is tough not only to be restrained by, but hit by, and can leave some serious rashes if hit at the proper angle. The end of it has the same blade as a jack-o-nine-tails, only with one blade instead of multiple blades. It is also used for grappling, due to the design of the blade. The whip hangs down from his belt, similar to a cat's tail.
⚔️ Metallic Marbles: Basically silver colored metal marbles that are designed to be thrown to the ground for someone to slip over, or get sore feet from stepping on like a lego barefoot. Nothing overly special.
⚔️ Gas Marbles: Metal marbles that are slightly bigger than the ones used for slipping on, they have a bunch of small pockets designed to release gas into the air. The gas isn't lethal, and does nothing other than block the person's vision. The gas last for 3 posts before dissipating.
⚔️ Tech Goggles: The mask of his hero suit doubles as a pair of goggles, not only adjusting his eyes to look more emerald and slitted, but gives him nightvision and allows him to detect heat signatures of other living beings.

QUIRK & SKILLS
MISFORTUNE
TYPE: Emitter
RANK/LEVEL: C
SUMMARY:
People say actions speak louder than words, and that's exceptionally true for Ryouta. Using his hands as the catalyst, one better be wary of this black cat crossing their path or they may just end up with a claw full of bad luck. Ryouta can inject bad luck into a person through his hands, and while its not incredibly life threatening, it can still be dangerous-- or it could be not dangerous at all, and just a minor annoyance. Besides, no matter the danger, who wants to deal with a bout of bad luck anyways? Of course, he can only actually inflict the bad luck if all five fingers are touching the person, if anything is off then his ability cannot activate even if he wants it to. Ryouta has 3 turns to touch his opponent with his hand before it needs to rest, which cooldowns for 2 turns. One touh will make the person experience one inconvenience within the next three posts of being afflicted. This affect can be doubled if he were to touch them twice within the same period, making them experience two inconveniences in the next three turns from the time they were afflicted.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
In order for his quirk to work, Ryouta needs to have his entire hand touch the opponent. He can't have a single part of his hand lifted or it just will not activate- this includes all five fingers and his palm. He is not restricted to a single hand for this, either hand is capable of inflicting bad luck if they touch someone, however its most common for him to use his right hand as its his dominant one. He is also vulnerable to his own quirk, and if he were to touch himself within the 3 post limitation with his hand activated, he'd be able to inflict bad luck on himself instead, with the same level of harm and/or inconveniences as anyone else. Ryouta does not have direct control over the type of bad luck that may befall the person, including himself, making it almost random. It doesn't work if someone touches his hand, only if his hand is the thing initiating the contact. If someone has a quirk that cultivates good luck, then it automatically makes it useless to the point of him being quirkless. If he were to try and force himself to use his quirk past its limit (during the 2 post given cooldown period), it'd backfire horribly and cause him bad enough luck to land him in the hospital.

ACROBATICS
RANK/LEVEL: B
SUMMARY:
Ryouta has gymnast level acrobatic skills, being able to not only perform parkour easily but also behave in an agile manner befitting of an acrobat in a circus. His body is flexible enough to perform these feats, giving him a great head start in athletics. He doesn't quite have pique human performance in this area, but he's good enough to get away with putting it use during combat.
