RUMOR/SECRET: | Many believe that most of her art is actually made by her father, and she's using him as a crutch. |
Mostly a social recluse and an introvert, Daichi finds most of her energy in activities that she can do alone. Listening to music, doing art, studying, and the like are all peaceful to her. Having to deal with people all the time on the other hand.....not so much.
When in the company of those she trusts, or when alone, she's a huge goof ball. Spouting pop-culture references, being lively, enjoying a bit of dark humor, showing off her musical talent or art, or just chatting people's ears off. But for someone to get to that point of friendship they have to get past her exterior layer of cold, careless silence...at least, they'd have to realize that this behavior is just her being socially awkward.
She takes her art very seriously, sometimes staying up all night just to get chunks of work done, or forgetting to take care of herself properly. There's been more than a few times where she's shown up to class not wearing the school uniform, or covered in paint. She always smells of coffee, and all sorts of material from paint, to chemical treatments for sculptures.
She's also very protective of keeping her arms covered, opting to wear the winter uniform even in hotter months, and never taking physical classes.
She also has a rather foul mouth at times...

BACKGROUND HISTORY
PLACE OF BIRTH/HOMETOWN: | Tokyo |
PARENTS: | Nisa, and Tokiyama Toyokumi |
SIBLINGS: | None |
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: | None |
OTHER: | Franklin (An origami spider brought to life and used as a pet), Kaen Shinku (cousin), Tetsugo Shinku and Kita Shinku (Uncle, and Aunt) |
Tokiyama Tokiyama is a well-known artist that gained fame for his quirk, "Moving Ink", and its interactions with his paintings. It allowed for his paint, and ink to move on the canvas on their own, allowing for art pieces with moving parts. He quickly gained riches from selling his works for small fortunes to the right buyers.
Nisa Toshihiko, on the other hand, was just a waitress at a fine-dining establishment in Tokyo. She loved music, and was in a punk band on the side. Her quirk "Breakdown" could make any non-living object fall apart and become several smaller versions of itself. Some said that a quirk like this would have been perfect for a hero, but it simply wasn't the life she wanted. While she never did get her big break with music, her job lead to her meeting Tokiyama, her future husband.
Many years down the line they had a child, and named her Daichi.
Daichi's early life was more or less the same as any child, her mother ensuring she kept an active social life by playing with kids in playgrounds, and making a few other mom-friends for the occasional playdate. For the most part she never really spent time with her family outside of her parents, as many of them disliked that Nisa had married into wealth, and...well, her father had no direct family, having been an orphan that was never adopted.
She did know of her Cousin Kaen, however. Sometimes even meeting him on holidays or special occasions. After an incident about 6 years ago, Daichi's family began sending money to Kaen and his mother, who was her own mother's sister.
Time went on, and Daichi's mother grew worried. The green-haired girl's quirk wasn't showing itself...she was told that she would get one and that she was just a late bloomer, but the underlying anxiety of her daughter fitting in caused Nisa to begin to teach her to play music on all sorts of instruments as a way of giving her a talent if she really was quirkless.
In school Daichi was regularly bullied, causing her to progressively become more and more reclusive and aggressive. She constantly got into fights, and inversely got into trouble. The only reason she wasn't expelled was because of her father, and because she usually got beat up more than the other kids due to her appeared lack of a quirk.
The years went on and Daichi's violence subsided, while remaining mostly reclusive. Finding content just getting through her days to be able to make art, and play music. Such a change was heavily encouraged by her school, as she was commissioned to make a sculpture of the man that first made the school after a villain attack years ago.
While making a rough test sculpture out of clay to see if she had the proportions, and size right multiple people entered the art room she was working in. All of them had bad history with her, having fought regularly, so they decide to take the chance to gang up on her.
Consistent kicking, punching, and otherwise were all involved. One injury going as far as to break her skin and cause some blood to splatter onto her scultpure...and from that moment, the course of her life was changed.
The creation came to life, and proceeded to beat the everloving daylights out of Daichi's assailants within an inch of their lives. None of them could stop the sculpture from assaulting them, as any damage done to it would just shift back into place.
When all was said in done, her 3 assailants suffered from a total of 4 broken legs, 5 broken arms, 15 total broken ribs, and 9 missing teeth.
She was expelled that day. Regardless of self defense, the extent that her creation had beaten the bullies, even while they were down, was not acceptable.
The schools she had in mind to get into art all began to reject her on the basis of this, and news spread throughout the art community. Her father was quick to make a deal with U.A., supplying them with plenty of recreational artwork in exchange for taking her in.
Daichi knew that her chances of becoming an artist were mostly shot. And her now-known power was strong enough to keep pace with the others from the get-go. So she decides to apply for the hero courses to her parents' surprise. Her specific reasoning is not yet known.

THE ARMORY
She has no "hero uniform" yet, since she's yet to make a hero identity. However, her father being as rich as he is with the connections he has, has provided her with top of the line support gear before even attending classes.
-SUPPORT GEAR-
"Clay Dispensers"- Using a method of containing solid clay and mixing it with water, a small tube that sticks out of her sleeve can dispense about 3 pounds of moldable clay before having to be refilled via a chamber further up her arm. It takes 1 post to refill, and she has 1 on each arm for a total of 6 pounds of clay to start, with 12 pounds worth of reloading material.
"Rapid-Folding-Paper-Airplane-Launcher" (RFPAL- Ruffelpal for short)
A small meta box that unfolds to become more rectangular and can be attached to her clay dispensers for ease. When a piece of paper is slipped into thee prepared state of the ruffelpal it will very quickly fold a simple paper airplane, and launch if forward. That's it. The easy to mass produce design allows for marketing tactics to sell to children if she gets big. The Ruffelpal can fire 5 paper airplanes in one post if the paper is prepared via "The notebook"
"The notebook"
Another metal rectangular object that is hidden on her back. Contains Several pieces of paper of all kinds- Printer, origami, construction, reflective, tape-lined, and even a couple rectangular pieces of cardboard, all containing a hint of her saliva in their creation. Simply holding a hand at the dispensing end of it (which sticks out of the back of her clothes, right above her rump) and saying which type of paper she wants will dispense that paper. It holds about 20 sheets of each variety, but only 4 sheets of cardboard, and can dispense 10 in rapid-succession in one post. She needs to prepare them each before they can be used, though. usually via folding.
While her paper creations hold limited to no direct combat use, the different kinds of paper hold different uses. Origami paper is easier to fold, so it can be used for "complicated" paper creations, cardboard can be made to float in water, and construction paper holds its shape under more rough circumstances (When it's very windy, or raining)
Adhesive, and reflective paper are obvious in what they can do, despite their uses not being very common.
"A Rather Gross Gathering System"
A series of absorbent pads fit into her clothes that drain into bottles usually tucked into her pants. These are used to gather sweat. And nothing else. It's kind of gross. These bottles hold aprox. 1/3rd of a cup of water each with a total of 4 starting bottles (filled), and 5 total posts of active movement (Active running/dodging/hand-to-hand fighting) refills one bottle (increased circumstantially, like when under extreme heat.)

QUIRK & SKILLS
Golemcraft
Golemcraft
TYPE:Emitter
RANK/LEVEL: C+
SUMMARY:
When Daichi's bodily fluids, or discarded body parts (Mainly skin cells or finger nails) are adhered/mixed into an object, that object will gain a pseudo-sentience, and come to life. They obey mental commands from Daichi, only being able to receive these commands while within 50 feet of her, but not having any definite range or time limit to their existence. When outside of Daichi's direct area of control, they stop all movement and remain stationary. They also "falter" when Daichi is under direct attack, as it breaks her focus. If she does anything besides running, walking, or basic evasive maneuvers (Avoiding obvious, slow objects/attacks) they will act slowly, or not at all. Smaller creations have less of an issue with this, as they take less mental focus.
Daichi uses a point-buy system for utilizing her quirk, as follows-
Daichi has 300 points for controlling her creations. Depending on their size, shape, and material the cost of creations increases.
Additionally, Daichi cannot control more than 4 constructs at any one time. Most small only take half a slot.
Size
Small creations are usually the size of bugs, to rodents. They cost less, but have little combat value on their own. These only require a small amount of Daichi's DNA- a few drops of sweat, blood, or saliva will do.
Medium creations are medium-sized animals, humans, and some slightly larger animals (like gorillas.). They have decent combat potential. These require a decent amount of DNA- usually about half a cup of sweat or blood will do the trick
Large creations are can range from car-sized to bus sized. Incredibly powerful, but hard to control and takes most, if not all of Daichi's control. These require a large amount of Daichi's DNA to function, usually about 3 cups or more of bodily fluids.
CREATIONS
Due to her quirk's lack of on-the-field utility, Daichi needs to come into the battlefield with her more powerful constructs prepared. Each one has varying strength, durability, speed, and point cost. As time goes on, she will add more creations to this list by simply creating them via threads.
"It Sings For Those that Cannot." - Bird Sculpture
Currently Made- 4
Posts to create in combat- 1
Point cost- 20
Size- Small (Only takes half a creation slot)
Material- Paper
Strength/Durability: All low. Can only carry 2 lbs MAX, cannot attack enemies, and can easily be ripped apart. Blunt attacks may leave it surviving if it isn't strong enough (try punching an origami structure apart for reference)
Speed: High- Can fly rather fast, at 60 mph normally. When out of combat and given enough room, they can fly at up to 150 mph since their structure is based on a falcon's.
Special effects: "Carrier Bird"
This is Daichi's only creation that can function outside of her area of influence. By giving it the coordinates (X.Y.Z.) of a location it will fly there, and unfold itself. If also given a specific person to target, it will look in the area of the coordinates and unfold itself near that person if they're around.
"Singing for Them." When fitted with a custom-made metal beak (That Daichi does not keep on her person), this creation can create whistling noises. These have no additional effects, and the bird cannot attack using it.
"Are Our Creations to Us What We Are to God?"- Human Sculpture
Currently made- 2
Posts to create in combat- 4
Point cost- 110
Size- Medium (6 feet tall, human shaped)
Material- Wet Clay
Strength- about 10% stronger than a human. Can lift 200 pounds easily, and attacks can bruise most people. But due to their amorphous material, they can't usually create open wounds without utilizing outside objects (i.e. knives)
Speed- Relatively slow. While their punches come quickly, they shamble to get from place to place at about 8 MPH when going their fastest, and half that when actively fighting.
Durability- While not particularly durable since they're made of soft clay (Can be torn apart easily, but blunt-force attacks don't do much. They'd need to be strong enough to rip it apart) they can piece themselves together easily by simply slapping their torn off parts back where they belong. Minor damage can be fixed with 1 post of not being attack/not attacking, removed limbs can be fixed in 2 posts of not attacking/being attacked, and complete obliteration (Being torn into small chunks) takes 6 posts to occur as all the small parts work together to reform. Anything that tears it up into pieces smaller than golf balls completely disables the statue.
"Dragon of the Abyss, Drag Me into Hell"- Dragon Sculpture
Currently made-1
Posts to create in combat- 7 (I know this likely isn't possible)
Point cost- 300
Size- Large (As long as a schoolbus, but relatively thin at 3 feet wide)
Material(s)- Cooked Clay, metal claws/tail
Strength- High. (Can dent 5 inch thick plates of steel with headbutts technically, but will shatter if it hits a solid object at full force)
Durability- Low (Most decent strikes around 2X stronger than an average punch, or using solid objects like weaponry will shatter the segment that gets hit)
Speed- High (Can run on four legs at 40 MPH, and its attacks are very sharp and rapid.)
Special features-
"Segments of Creation": The dragon is made up of 10 "segments", one being a bladed tail and another being its head. Any time a segment is hit with sufficient force (a good wack of a weapon or something with equal or more force usually does it) that segment shatters, and the others all shift to replace it. If the head is shattered, the entire construct is destroyed, but the head is roughly twice as strong as the rest of the body (since the normal segments are hollow)
"Onward": This dragon Is fitted with steel claws designed for slashing attacks, and *climbing*. Can easily scale the sides of buildings, even with the weight of a human or two being carried.
"With me": The primary purpose for this sculpture is to grapple enemies, and do one of three things. Shred them using it's claws, carry them up high and drop them, or simply crush them. The strength of its coil is roughly 10 pounds per square inch (Which is a lot considering the large surface area of the squeeze). The main downfall of this is the fact that only one thing may be constricted at once unless the subjects are somehow *VERY* close together to begin with, and doing so restricts the dragon's movement by 90%. It takes roughly 4 posts of being restricted for the average human to run out of oxygen in their lungs and pass out.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
Most material can be difficult to animate, as Daichi's quirk involves her DNA traveling through the object to empower the entire construct. This means that solid materials (metals, stone, etc) are ludicrously difficult to animate with this quirk. Inversely, Clay and other materials that are absorbent or amorphous are perfect fits, as Daichi's sweat/spit/blood/etc can be mixed with it preemptively.
If Daichi goes over her 300 point limit, or her 4-sculpture limit, she begins to lose consciousness. At 101% - 150% capacity, she passes out in 3 posts, and she cannot go beyond 150% capacity yet
Additionally, all of her creations cease movement when she passes out/sleeps.

RANK/LEVEL: C+
SUMMARY:
Daichi's sculptures are almost always beautiful, but making combat ready sculptures requires a completely different set of skills such as structural integrity, joints for proper movement, a method of attack, weight effectiveness, and more.
Upgrading this skill will unlock more sculptures for Daichi to create
