Raphael is rather short, light and slender, specially for a person of Scandinavian decent. However his legs are rather well developed due to long years of training, and his muscles are better developed than one may expect as he is quite diligent with his training; he just cannot bulk up specially around his upper torso duo to the fact it may interfere with his quirk.

Raphael is, in general, a mild, quiet person. He tends to hesitate before speaking, incase his words may hurt someone which is something he really does not want to do. However this dosen't mean if there is something he really feels is important, he would keep quiet and he will speak up but in general he tries to live his life with as little friction as possible with others. Some may say having such profilic pro heros as parents is a burden- which it probably very much is, even for raphael but it is one he is happy to carry.
Specially, once he entered U.A and saw everyone around him trying their best, even with imperfect or unsuited quirks, he started to feel as if he was cheating in a way, due to his lineage that some saw as an immoral thing to do. Though he dosen't voice his thoughts much at all when it's about himself, he can say he, himself is one of the few people he hates, actually. He hopes to be able to be of use to more people, meet everyone's expectations and live up to his family name, and in turn possibly like himself a little more.
Raphael's dream is to be able to make everyone in the world happy with his songs, and be worthy to be called his parent's son. He dosen't mind using his quirk just to brighten up someone's day as he feels if he could do that, it would make him worth existing and tends to bend the rules a little concerning this, as his quirk is so hard to detect when activated. The only son of two pro heroes, (and, unknown to him the younger half brother of villain The Marionettist) Raphael had a childhood that was well documented by the media as the perfect, role model hero family. His father's family had a tradition of quirk marridges, which no one mentioned but it was rather obvious unspoken fact, as Raphael already had a fiancee by the time he was 6. His cherub-like looks and cute voice were a hit with the masses and he sometimes even appeared in commercials with his mother and he modeled children's clothes at times for companies.
However the reality of his family was a little different to the glossy, glamourous scene they portrayed in front of others. For a reason unknown to him, Raphael's parents never seemed to have such a good relationship with each other. When the camera was not rolling, his parents hardly spoke to each other, and when they did, they were fighting. His father stopped coming home much at all by the time Raphael was 8 years old, he only saw the man when he turned up to see the results for the quarterly quirk tests Raphael went through and his mother was always crying when she was at home and had slowly spiraled into depression, seeming to lead two separate lives on and off camera.
In an attempt to make his mother feel better, Raphael would often sing songs that he had heard and after a while, his mother would give him a tear stained smile and tell him he was her "Little songbird" and thank him and tell him she felt better. Whether or not this was the truth, it made Raphael happy to hear this and spent a lot of his free time practising songs for when his mother got home.
At some point, when Raphael was around 12 years old they started to get calls from a person to his house that his mother had answered once, and hung up straight away, all the colour draining from her face.
Every other time that person called she refused to respond, and soon she started to become paranoid and had an unnatural fear of the telephone, saying "He's coming for me, it's because I left him!!" over and over again which confused Raphael but whoever was on the phone refused to talk to anyone but his mother. His mother started to become more and more withdrawn, only appearing in public once a week rather than the everyday she used to, though on TV she seemed normal, like she always did and unlike the sobbing, paranoid mess of a woman she was at home.
When Raphael was 14, both his parents died in a tragic accident while on a mission and ended up leaving him alone in the world. However, he was fine for means to live as they both had life insurance and inheritance that he could live comfortably on.
Though he misses his family, to be very honest he thinks it may have been for the best they are not here anymore, as both of them seemed to suffer greatly and he hopes they are both in a better place now and knows it is in his place to carry on the legacy of their hero family so no one will forget them.
When he turned 16, he entered U.A through recommendation and his Public Image Manager suggested he starts work as an idol, which he agreed to and now works alongside his hero studies in U.A doing various jobs, such as modelling, small gigs etc to get more exposure and publicity in preparation for his pro hero debut in a few years time.

Angelic Cantata
TYPE: Emitter
RANK/LEVEL: D+
SUMMARY:
Angelic Cantata is an emitter type quirk, derived mainly from his father's sound quirk but has some elements of his mother's healing quirk.
Raphael's songs, depending on tone, key and lyrics affect those he is thinking of when singing as long as they can hear it. He currently can sing 2 types of song and they have different positive effects.
1- Songs of vigour: A song with positive, uplifting lyrics. (Orange in colour to Raphael, when used in a thread text will show orange.) This type of song is one Raphael can sing which aids his allies by increasing their damage output by 20% and movement speed by 5%.
2- Songs of alleviation: A song with soothing, mild lyrics. (Green in colour to Raphael, when used in a thread text will show green.) This type of song is one Raphael can sing which aids his allies by reducing or mitigating (depending on severity of injury) the pain of any current injuries they may have while they can hear his song. It can also accelerate the healing process of shallow wounds, minor injuries such as surface cuts, scrapes, 1st degree burns etc and they will heal fully within 1 post turn. Currently, it can mitigate the pain of an injury up to a modest wound, or reduce the pain of anything more severe by half.
He can also, due to the nature of his quirk sing keys that are normally impossible for humans to hit (E3 to C3) but other animals etc can in addition to being able to sing every note a human can produce.
Sonar- By emitting a single note in C4 and manipulating the sound wave, Raphael can produce a sound that, if sung loud enough and long enough (over 2 posts) can damage eardrums of humans or crack glass.
Heaven’s Horn- By emitting a single note in E3 and manipulating the sound wave, Raphael can produce a sound that, if sung loud enough and long enough (1post or more) can apply a weak vibrational wave to the target area, in a cone shape from the direction Raphael is facing. At the current quirk rank, it is strong enough to knock unsuspecting people off their feet, or make it harder for aware people to stand but it will not force them down. It can push down objects up to 1kg that may be flying towards him onto the floor, and slow things heavier up to 3kg by 50%. Anything heavier will have no effect.
Colour Aura- Raphael can determine strong emotions in others visually- when he looks at someone, if they are effected by strong emotions (Happiness, romantic love, anger, sadness, fear etc) it will show up as colours radiating from their person. It does not show the reason or cause behind the emotion however, and currently can only be visible when somone is stongly effected by the emotion.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
There are a few limitations to using his quirk;
1- As it is using his voice, if he loses his voice, he cannot use the quirk.
2- Anyone has to hear a live version of his song and not a recording.
3- Any effects of his song end when he stops singing.
4- If he is not emotionally invested in the song or it's lyrics for any reason, or does not sincerely wish for who he is singing for to feel the way of his lyrics, it will either not be as effective or not work at all depending on the situation.
5- Only one song can be sung at any one time, and if he switches the former effect will stop after a few seconds.
6- Sonar and Heaven's horn puts significant strain on his vocal chords more than his songs due to their unnatural key. He can only them twice per thread (or once of each) before he strains his voice making him unable to use them anymore, and making his songs less effective by 5%.

Baguazhang/Piguaquan (Skylark form)

SUMMARY:
Based on the dual Chinese martial arts, Raphael also combines elements of the offensive use of his quirk, Sonar to falter his opponents by emitting short sharp notes that may disorientate them making it a unique fighting style for himself. He has been attending classes for the martial arts for a year.

SUMMARY:
Raphael can run faster (Current best time for a mile 4:40:00) and longer than average due to doing daily training to increase his lung capacity and leg muscles as well as overall health to help his quirk. It also means he can hold his breath longer (Around 4 mins, max 3 posts) inside water or if he needs to hold his breath for any reason. (Such as reducing smoke inhalation in fires etc) This will also effect any single note abilities he uses where he has to emit a single note for as long as possible.
