Nikolai is a tall man standing at six foot and six inches tall. His stark white hair making him appear older than he actually is. Nikolai’s blue eyes have an odd green cross shape in the irises, making them appear very striking. Nikolai rarely smiles, but has been known to light up a room when doing so. His build is thin, but sinewy. Nikolai tends to wear formal wear, mostly a black vest and red bow tie with a white dress shirt underneath and plain black slacks with a pair of dress shoes.

RUMOR/SECRET: | Rumor has it that Nikolai was removed from the Russian hero program due to ties with the Solntsevskaya Bratva |
Due to his removal from the Russian hero program, Nikolai is a very stoic and serious person. His attitude may seem flippant or off putting to some, but inside he is a genuinely helpful person. His love of fostering the next generation, as well as hero work has led him to UA where he spends most of his time. Nikolai would like to get his pro-hero license in Japan, but has yet to spend the time to get it done. Nikolai highly distrusts cats. They give him quote “The hibby-jibblees”. If a cat is present within a space he would like to enter, he has a step by step program that he likes to call “not entering”. This is where he examines the room, locates the cat, and decides whether or not class can be held outside. Usually, it in fact can. Including in rainy, snowy, or extremely hot weather.
Nikolai manages to keep his temper in check most of the time, but his temper does get the better of him if someone attempts to correct him. Especially when he knows he has the right answer. He has been known to snap pencils, or go red in the face when this happens. However, he does shortly calm himself once again.

This works due to his stomach having a special chamber that separates chemicals that his body does not currently need and purifies them. He can combine these chemicals to achieve effects similar to magical potions in games and movies.
The organ connects to a tube with a nozzle-like piece of flesh that lets him change the pressure that the potion is released at, and how it’s released.
Potions that are given more time to stew inside of him, generally have more pronounced effects. However, potions can be produced on the spot if need be. These potions are generally the weakest possible brew. However, his potion creation works on a post by post basis.

Weak - The potion created is basically only able to slow bleeding. There is no real healing effect happening with this potion.
Minor - The potion created is able to cure small wounds when poured onto the skin directly.
Normal - The potion created can heal minor and normal wounds such as non-serious bullet wounds and other remedies that modern medicine would have no trouble taking care of if given enough time.
Strong - The potion can heal wounds that would take months to heal, or even wounds that are of a serious nature that would give medical experts trouble.
Stout - The potion created is capable of healing near deadly wounds and injuries that no doubt would kill the person if not immediately treated.
Legendary - The potion created will be capable of healing any type of wound, and even minor illnesses. Additionally, the potion created gives energy when consumed.
Defense Potion - Using a combination of iron, herbs, and other ingredients Nikolai can create a potion that makes your skin tougher for the duration of 3 posts.
Weak - The potion created is only able to soften playful punches or very light thwacks.
Minor - The potion created is able to let you withstand a hit or two from a quirkless opponent.
Normal - The potion created lets you take small arms fire and allows you to ignore strikes from quirkless opponents.
Strong - The potion created lets the person take two or three more hits than normal from D class quirks designed for physical damage.
Stout - The potion created allows a person to take three to four more hits from a C class quirk designed for physical damage, and allows you extreme durability against D class quirks.
Legendary - The potion created allows a person to take a multitude of hits from a quirk below A rank designed around physical damage. However, this one requires special ingredients that Nikolai can only access in very rare situations.
Basic Damage Potion - Through a mix of acids, poisons, and other caustic ingredients; Nikolai can create potions that do damage to the person targeted. This has a reduced effect against heroes and villains with durability quirks.
Weak - The potion created does little more than irritate the skin. Annoying, but not all that damaging.
Minor - The potion created causes minor wounds to be opened on the body. If there is any scab tissue, the wound may re-open or be weakened enough to allow simple jabs to destroy the blood clot.
Normal - The potion created causes wounds to be opened on the body. Where it hits, there will be a pronounced acidic effect that causes chemical burns and abrasions.
Strong - The potion created causes noticeable chemical burns and abrasions, cuts and scrapes. If applied directly to the eyes, it may cause temporary blindness.
Stout - The potion created causes serious chemical burns and bleeding that requires stitching to staunch.
Legendary - The potion created eats away at anything it touches at an accelerated rate. The acidic effect can eat through several inches of solid steel before being stopped.
Anti-Potion - Through various neutralizers, Nikolai can create a potion that cancels the effects of his other potions so long as it is consumed while they are taking effect. This potion simply works, and only requires a post to produce.
Additionally, the alchemization effect can allow him to create his own alcoholic beverages and more illicit materials, as well as a substance that is 10X stronger than coffee, but without Nikolai’s resistance can cause immediate heart failure. These potions are nothing more special than their non-quirk produced counterparts.
Chemical Resistance - Nikolai has innate chemical and poison resistance which gives him a boost to how many dangerous chemicals he can intake before getting sick. Additionally, the more that Nikolai is exposed to a chemical, the more resistant he is to it. This has allowed him near immunity to most poisons. This is not an immediate effect, and while it depends on the chemical in question - a quirk being harder to resist than a naturally produced chemical - it may take several heavy hits to gain even a meager resistance to it.
Supermoves
Casting the Philosopher’s Stone - Nikolai begins throwing damaging potions at an extremely fast rate, not aiming at any one target but instead coating the entire area in a fine pool of Basic Damage Potion.
Alchemists Fury - Nikolai focuses the muscles in his throat on nothing but forcefully ejecting the contents of his guts, pushing back and affecting the target with the effects of the currently brewing potion.
Panacea - Nikolai focuses the muscles in his throat into a fine spray, covering the area in a mist of healing potion. This obscures sight, and spreads the effect to a wider area of around 20 feet around him.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
Time - The biggest constraint facing Nikolai is the amount of time it takes for him to produce anything that is even slightly worthwhile. He has to be able to not only eat, but properly process the ingredients into a proper potion. The time it takes to create anything remotely worthwhile makes the quirk very restrictive.
Container - Another weakness that Nikolai faces is that his potions are less effective when not contained within glass bottles. They lose a full power rank if they aren’t at least somewhat touched by glass.
Sickness - While he is resistant to most harmful effects that chemicals and poisons can cause, he’s not resistant to all of them. Especially unnatural poisons/chemicals such as those created by quirks. Before he’s given enough time to acclimate, the effects can still make him extremely sick or otherwise affect him.
