SUMMARY: Even without the use of her Quirk, Aisha is a talented medic, approximately equivalent to a nurse fresh out of school. Her wish to be a Doctor-Hero has spawned in her an interest in all forms of medical arts, something which the healing abilities of Fairy Dust only amplify. She is capable of all forms of medical aid and emergency healing, including and up to setting bones, diagnosing simple issues, and performing emergency tracheostomies. Her relative inexperience and lack of formal training, however, could easily lead to mistakes and issues derived from such procedures.
RANK/LEVEL: C+
SUMMARY: Aisha is smart. Very smart, in fact, a trait she inherited from her father. Easily passing her high school entrance exams (in elementary school) and scoring the highest among her classmates by a wide margin, her intelligence is something that Aisha takes great pride in. This has extended to her ability to learn. What she doesn’t understand, Aisha is quite adept at learning and applying tactics, such as flash cards and rote memorization, to learn. In combat, this skill can be used to assess and develop tactics, though most of Aisha’s intelligence is focused on more utilitarian and academic pursuits. Besides, she doesn’t perform well under pressure. This has let her study languages as well, and at her young age she is fluent in English, French, Chinese, and Japanese. She continues her study of other languages on a frequent basis.

SUMMARY: A skill most people don’t think about, but one harnessed by years and years of practice. When most people enter a mall or store, they see clothes and things to buy; but to Aisha, she sees hidden treasures and untold-of deals. This skill has not only lent her an almost preternatural sense of where, when, and why sales are happening, but allows her to, at a glance, determine the exact make and model of most things that can be bought, be it clothes or phones or wallets and purses. While a typical ‘rich girl’ skill, it can have its benefits.

SUMMARY: Since she was a baby, Aisha has been obsessed with dancing. Other than her academics, it is the only thing Aisha devotes school time towards, and not only because it keeps her fit and looks great on a resume. She loves it; it feels intimate in a way she’s never had before, and there is a sense of satisfaction that comes with successfully pulling off a complicated dance move. Her preferred methods of dance are ballet and contemporary, though has extensive training in most forms, particularly ballroom. This skill in dance does not lead to skill in combat, unlike some heroines, nor does it lend itself to an absurdly ridiculous skill in avoiding damage. It does, however, lend itself to her athleticism and grace.

SUMMARY: Ai has a magnetic personality; this, her natural beauty, and the happiness she literally exudes from every pour, plus the skills she has acquired in schmoozing authority figures and from books, has resulted in a sort of charisma in the way she speaks. She can be quite persuasive, convincing others to do things they may not wish to do, though Ai still has to learn quite a bit about them. This is still a skill TBD, and not something she uses that often, so the growth of it is quite limited. What little usage she does get out of it - like convincing her butler to let her sneak out to see the newest ‘Heroes Rock!’ concert - is invaluable.

SUMMARY: Aisha is a passable cook. Though she normally has people cook for her, she has taken an interest in the chemical and scientific side of cooking. While certainly great, and while she has a go-getter attitude in the kitchen, her skills are … lacking, and when mixed with an ingenuity and creative spirit, she often makes concoctions that are edible at best, unidentifiable at worst. However, she is more than capable of reading directions from a book and knows perfectly the terminology, and is more than willing to learn, granted she could find a teacher willing to put up with her “genius” inventions in the kitchen.

Aisha Konnick is a beautiful, beautiful young woman. As a youth, she was a ball of pink hair and fairy dust, but she fulfilled all the promises of beauty as she blossomed into her teen years. Even though pink hair is typically reserved for rebels and punk rockers, she manages to pull an innocence out of it, and somehow prevent it from clashing with the much brighter pink of her eyes. Both her hair and her eyes sparkle, like they are full of glitter (though that may actually be the truth.) Yes, like a lot of Heroes, her Quirk has resulted in a coloration mutation, matching the wings on her back.
The most noticeable traits of Ai is, of course, Fairy Dust; the wings upon her back. Four beautiful wings, reminiscent of some crystal butterfly, reflect the light around her, constantly covering her with dappled rainbow light. Pink glitter seems to cover her skin, but despite the many, many rumors that she uses some kind of scented, glitter-filled lotion, this is merely a by-product of her Quirk. The glitter is her Chara Dust, the effect of her Fairy Dust Mutation. It covers her, making her already feminine features practically pop.
Despite her young age, Aisha has blossomed quite early, and physically she appears to be taking after her mother, with curves many women would die for. Her skin, too, is perfectly soft, only the soles of her feet and the pads of her hands possessing any roughness, and this only from the rigors of dance and academic study. Her hair, though pink, is also extraordinarily soft, like somebody took the idea of cotton and wove it into her locks.
Her style can best be described as “borderline crass.” Because of her wings, baggy clothes simply can’t be worn, and even the UA uniform had to be modified to be without a back and much tighter around the chest than normal. Even when wearing so-called “normal” clothes, she prefers them tighter, simply because it makes her uncomfortable when her Quirk is kept ‘locked down’, as it were. People treat her better when she’s showing skin, too, which to her innocent mind just means she has great style.
She walks with the absolute confidence that only innocence and naivety can bring, a look in her eyes that says every day is a great day. Well, perhaps “walk” is a bit of a misnomer; she prefers to float or fly, using her wings to stay aloft in most situations. Usually, this means she’s hovering several inches off the floor, though to travel quickly, she likes to fly quite high in the air, a couple hundred feet, to prevent people and things from getting in the way.

RUMOR/SECRET: | Many people insist she’s the daughter of someone famous, due to her busy schedule and nearly unlimited money; who it could be ranges from the principal to the top heroes in society! Others insist she is an adult film star, with a secret website she only gives to paying customers. Neither have been confirmed nor denied by the pink-haired beauty, so of course they’re all assumed to be true. |
Aisha is the happiest, cheeriest, brightest girl in the room, and that just about sums her up. Even were it not for her Quirk, Ai would still find herself overjoyed at every little thing in life. Because of her Quirk, however, with very exceptions, Aisha is incapable of feeling sad. She’s never had the need; no negative emotion has punctured through the bubble of energy and overwhelming happiness that the girl exudes. Her mere presence lights up a room, literal sparkles flying from her with every movement and laugh.
Despite her airy, somewhat ditzy nature, Aisha is a brilliant girl, inheriting her mothers looks but her fathers cunning and intelligence. This is judicially applied in her studies, even going so far as taking college courses in middle school! Her ultimate desire to be a doctor to help people only intensified as she got her Quirk, the healing properties more than useful for such a profession. And this is the crux of her personality; she wishes to help people. Most everything she does in this world is done to help others. Even her dedication in school and intelligence and knowledge were derived from a desire to become a doctor and get a license.
And that may be a problem for some people. Why would someone so damn interested in healing and protecting innocents sign up to fight villains? Well, the answer is simple; she doesn’t want to fight villains. In a somewhat naive outlook, Ai believes villains are just … misunderstood. And who better to help them back on their path than someone who makes everyone she comes around happy? Aisha believes that with her Hero License, she can end villainy around the world; not by fighting and violence and other mean things, but by simply willing to give the villains another chance.

SIBLINGS: | no known siblings |
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: | Ai has never had a boyfriend! |
OTHER: | Ai has a small butterfly hutch in her room. |
There’s not really much to say about the pink-haired girl. She lived a life free of worry, born and raised by a prominent senator and his beautiful wife. She wanted for nothing, wished for even less; and while this certainly had its detrimental effects, Aisha grew up proud, beautiful and happy. Very, very happy. In fact, when she was born, she didn’t cry even once and was, for all intents and purposes, incredibly manageable. In fact, a little too much so.
An examination from a doctor when she was a toddler told the truth; Aisha’s Quirk, having developed nearly from birth, was the type to control her emotions. Her parents would care more if they were around; it wasn’t even they that took her to appointments! It was her wet nurse, Sue Lin, a Chinese expat living and working at the Konnick Manor. It was Sue Lin that raised her, fed her, cleaned her room; did everything but give birth to the girl. It was Sue Lin that comforted Ai when her wings began to develop, Sue Lin that helped her out of sticky spots when her Quirk got out of control. It was Sue Lin that comforted with stories of her childhood, of smoky cabins and majestic mountains when she was upset.
As Ai matured, her desire to help others only intensified; from volunteering in the nurses office, being head of her class in middle school, and helping out at any animal shelters, homeless shelters, and clinics she could get her painted little nails on. When it came to her high school applications, she was approved (academically, at least) before she even graduated and was, in fact, the highest score in that series of applications. Graduating Valedictorian of her middle school, and on her way to high school.

THE ARMORY
Hero Outfit: Like all UA students, teachers, and Pro Heroes, Aisha has a costume designed by professional Support that enhances her abilities; though, in Ai’s case, its simply more durable clothing (though incredibly cute). A low-cut top with no sleeves covers her body and chest, at least what little it does cover; her stomach is revealed (as is the piercing through her bellybutton), as are much of her prodigious assets. Though her thighs are covered by a pair of tight leggings and a short pleated skirt, it doesn’t do much to hide her body. A large majority of the back of her blouse is open as well, so as not to hinder the movement of her wings. While embarrassing, she makes up for this by hiding her identity to the best of her identity; a face mask covers her eyes, designed with the same spirals that cover her wings; she also changes her hairstyle while in her Hero Uniform. These two changes are more than enough to make her damn near unrecognizable to all but the closest members of her family … and considering thats her 90-year-old butler, her hope is that no one recognizes her. She is shod in three-inch-heels; impractical in combat, but entirely cute, and since she spends much of her time flying anyway, she doesn’t care that much.
The entire ensemble is varying shades of pink; not quite as pink as her hair or wings, they range from salmon to dusky sunset. Each piece of her Hero Uniform is designed with combat in mind and reinforced as such; and though it provides no benefits aside from clothing her, it has durability roughly on par with Kevlar.

QUIRK & SKILLS
FAIRY DUST
MUTATION:
RANK/LEVEL: D-rank
SUMMARY:
Fairy Dust is a Mutation-type Quirk, and quite an obvious one at that. Two large pairs of pink and white wings, made of “gossamer and cobwebs”, as her mother aptly described, extends from a point just above her shoulder blades. Quite massive, they are similar in build to butterflies, and are easily as long as she is tall. When fully extended, they reach a foot higher than her and brush the floor when she walks. Thankfully, she can “fold” them to an extent, and though they are still quite obvious, it makes Fairy Dust much less noticeable, the wings shrinking to be about two feet in length from wing tip to wing tip. The wings are quite beautiful, regardless, and are lovingly taken care of by Aisha. Sunlight can stream through, the pink dust covering it reflecting it, creating dappled rainbow light. The frame of the wing is white, with the membrane being pink with white veins through it. With careful observation, one can see the blood pulsing through the venous membrane.
Like a lot of Mutation-type Quirks, Aisha has clothing tailored specifically to handle the large and unique appendage; unlike others, however, she can definitely afford it. All of Ai’s shirts that require it allow the wings to be pushed through a slit in the back, and this has led Ai to develop a rather liberal sense of style. Her underwear is similarly modified; thankfully, not much modification was necessary to most of her clothing, unless she decided to wear a corset, as the two pairs of wings part in the exact perfect way to allow bra-like clothing to be worn without much hindrance. Thankfully.
Physically, Fairy Dust is marginally fragile, at least compared to the human body. The bony wing “frame” and the similarly-reinforced veins are about as strong and durable as any human bone. The “gossamer” wings themselves, however, are very fragile, no more than thin silk. She must actually be quite careful with them, to prevent permanent damage, though they do heal with no scarring like a lot of thin tissue. If the wings are damaged, she will be unable to fly until they heal. Fairy Dust is exceptionally sensitive, however, due to the nerves so close to the skin. Even something as simple as grabbing her wings is enough to make her tremble. While this is great news for her future lover (the cluster of nerves at the base of her wings is particularly sensitive and a great place for a significant other to start) this is also great news for any Villain, as they can incapacitate her with any amount of pain to her wings. Using the Schidmt pain index for scale, any injuries or damage to her wings will occur at approximately three levels higher on the Index. The same applies to all sensations, making them particularly vulnerable to cold or heat.
APPLICATIONS:
Charakalos: Joy Inducement. The primary usage of Charakalos seems to have evolved to be a defense mechanism, of a sort. Like a lot of creatures in the insect world with membranous wings, Fairy Dusty is covered in … well, dust. Miniature scales created like any other bodily tissue would, this Chara Dust has many structural similarities to the ones created by moths and some butterflies, but that is where the commonalities end. Chara Dust is bright pink and seems to be like glitter, reflecting its pink color with a vibrance not commonly found outside the art world. This dust nearly constantly hovers around Aisha in a haze of dust and glitter, attaching to anyone that comes near it; unlike normal glitter, however, Chara Dust is nearly instantly absorbed into the bloodstream through skin contact, though the process is faster and more potent through a mucous membrane, such as the inside of the mouth or nose. In addition to its physical lure, Chara Dust smells fantastic as well, like a mix of strawberries and something else, but something that reminds the person of happy memories.
But Chara Dust is more than just pretty. Anybody under the effects of Chara Dust - ie anyone who allows the glitter to touch their skin - fall under the Charakalos spell. Chara Dust enters the bloodstream and immediately affects the nervous system; specifically, the parts of the brain that handle and moderate joy and happiness. Once in place, the Chara Dust begins to work, coating the receptors in the brain and forcing the brain to produce ‘happiness’ chemicals; oxytocin, serotonin, dopamine, and endorphins. The end result is a nearly narcotic one; happiness floods the target, full chemical happiness that only a few select drugs (or Quirks) can handle. This happiness and elation comes with a burst of energy, and is usually enough to distract or outright deter any violence or threats against her and anyone in the vicinity.
Chara Dust is produced naturally by the body and solidified into scales by the chemical processes found in the cells of her wings, but it is found in its rawest form naturally in her blood. This manifests as a pink glitter throughout her, potent and dense enough to be visible to the naked eye. Chara Dust is present in every of her bodily fluids, in much higher amounts than in the scales of her wings. All of her bodily fluids have some measure of Chara Dust, from her sweat to her saliva; and in fact, the effects of Chara Dust are more enhanced and react quicker when absorbed through these mediums. Theoretically, because the glands that produce Chara Dust are found within her body proper and not in her wings, this Quirk will continue to produce if her wings are ever permanently damaged or removed. Because of the nature of sweat, she always smells as alluring as Chara Dust does.
Chara Dust is close to a narcotic; it, in fact, works very similar to opiates. The biological nature and structural design of Chara Dust, however, means it is not nearly as addictive. At its current potency, it would require weeks of concentrated absorption to become addicted. At its current potency, Chara Dust has little effect on libido and attraction; however, those addicted may find themselves aroused more often or to different people, as the same chemicals Chara Dust effects are the same chemicals the body uses to determine attachment, attraction, and arousal. Currently, however, this is not an effect she can control, and again would require weeks of constant, concentrated doses to have even a mild effect. Unlike other narcotics, Chara Dust has no crash; after the effects wear off, the afflicted is back to their normal self, emotionally unaffected.
When not absorbed by the skin of a living being, Chara Dust disappears in several minutes.
Mechanically, Chara Dust works on a post basis, with the post it is absorbed being post zero (0). Gradual Absorption, through her scales or her scent, takes two posts to create the surge of happiness and lasts for four posts afterwards, after which the Chara Dust is absorbed in the bloodstream harmlessly. Concentrated Absorption, such as through her saliva, her sweat, or other bodily fluids against a mucous membrane, takes one post to create the surge of happiness and lasts for five posts afterwards, after which the Chara Dust is absorbed into the bloodstream harmlessly. Blood Absorption, though rare, is the most effective means; the surge of happiness takes place instantly (post 0) and lasts for a full six posts, after which the Chara Dust is absorbed harmlessly into their body.
A unique application of the Chara Dust in her blood allows it to be infused in any individual regardless of blood type, without complications.
HEALING: Chara Dust has a secondary effect, in addition to the Charakalos. Chara Dust heals anyone affected by it, the dust itself acting as stem cells to rapidly repair minor damage to the body nearly immediately, such as a stubbed toe or broken nail. Unlike the primary Charakalos effect of Chara Dust, the healing takes place near-instantaneously, just from being exposed to it, and all minor wounds across the body will be repaired in this same time frame while under the effects of Gradual Absorption. This effect is greatly amplified with Concentrated or Blood Absorption, the former healing moderate wounds over the course of two posts and major wounds over the course of six posts, and the latter cutting that time in half. Due to the high concentration of Chara Dust in her system, this healing factor extends to herself as well.
FLIGHT: In addition to the Chara Dust her wings produce, her wings can be used to … well, fly, their original, as-designed intention. When extended to their full length, Fairy Dust gives Aisha the ability to fly with very few limitations; her light weight and the extreme size of the wings makes the stamina drain negligible. When not in class, she is often found floating down the halls, just a few inches from the ground, her wings slowly fluttering behind her to keep her aloft. While flying, her Chara Dust scatters several inches further from her, covering nearly everything, and for this reason, she hardly ever uses it surrounded by people. Her Quirk allows her to fly at top speeds of 25MPH, though she typically uses it to float at low speeds across the ground.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
FRAGILITY AND LIMITS: Aisha’s main power comes from the Chara Dust spread by her wings. When she is damaged, a defense mechanism kicks in that prevents any more Chara Dust from being produced, from her wings or otherwise. She can no longer spread Chara Dust, nor does her blood or bodily fluids contain it, all her body's efforts going towards healing her injuries (the Chara Dust currently within other individuals are unaffected.) This applies to any injury that can be considered moderate; while a stubbed toe or cracked fingernail won’t activate the failsafe, being punched sufficiently enough to cause a bruise, as well as falling great heights or breaking a bone, will, immediately halting the production and effect of her Chara Dust.
At its current level, her Chara Dust can only be produced on her wings, in a high-stress situation, for up to four posts OR enough to affect two people at once. Once all Chara Dust has been depleted, she must wait up to two posts resting to replenish her Chara Dust. The dust potent in her bodily fluids and blood never runs out fully, due to the sheer saturation; however, if it is drained enough - using Concentrated Absorption more than three times in a thread OR a 24-hour period - its effects will weaken, becoming on par with Gradual Absorption.
NO BONE TO PICK: Her natural personality and the Chara Dust flowing through her veins means Ai is perhaps the nicest individual alive. There simply isn’t a mean or hateful bone in her body. In combat, she stays back, playing support and healing her teammates rather than fighting, as she abhors violence; she is, in fact, a pacifist, and dislikes killing so much as a fly. If forced into a confrontation, she is nearly useless, unable to throw a real punch and more than likely to just kind of … push the villain away. If she gets hurt, actually, physically hurt, she will be absolutely stunned; a combination of her Quirk and the sheltered lifestyle she’s lived means she has zero tolerance for pain and damage, and is more than likely to be taken out by one or two moderately-powerful hits.
PHYSICAL ANOMALIES: Chara Dust relies on typical human anatomy to be effective. While the healing effect works no matter the creature so long as it is living, the Charakalos effect is ineffective against creatures or Quirk-Users with odd or adapted anatomies. Animals and Heroes or Villains with animal anatomies are, at the least, resistant to it, doubling the post count for it or, at worst, immune. Chemical dependencies, such as to alcohol or tobacco, add a resistant effect as well. Drugs, such as antidepressants, can be used to resist or nullify the effect of Chara Dust if given in time, as can certain mood-affecting Quirks. Most of all, her Quirk does not guarantee the end of the combat. It has no way to be used offensively, and depends entirely on the personality of the person its used against; being happy may not deter every villain from attacking.

FIRST AID/EMERGENCY HEALING
RANK/LEVEL: C
SUMMARY: Even without the use of her Quirk, Aisha is a talented medic, approximately equivalent to a nurse fresh out of school. Her wish to be a Doctor-Hero has spawned in her an interest in all forms of medical arts, something which the healing abilities of Fairy Dust only amplify. She is capable of all forms of medical aid and emergency healing, including and up to setting bones, diagnosing simple issues, and performing emergency tracheostomies. Her relative inexperience and lack of formal training, however, could easily lead to mistakes and issues derived from such procedures.
INTELLIGENCE/LEARNING
SHOPPING
RANK/LEVEL: C
SUMMARY: A skill most people don’t think about, but one harnessed by years and years of practice. When most people enter a mall or store, they see clothes and things to buy; but to Aisha, she sees hidden treasures and untold-of deals. This skill has not only lent her an almost preternatural sense of where, when, and why sales are happening, but allows her to, at a glance, determine the exact make and model of most things that can be bought, be it clothes or phones or wallets and purses. While a typical ‘rich girl’ skill, it can have its benefits.
DANCING
RANK/LEVEL: C
CHARISMA
RANK/LEVEL: C-
SUMMARY: Ai has a magnetic personality; this, her natural beauty, and the happiness she literally exudes from every pour, plus the skills she has acquired in schmoozing authority figures and from books, has resulted in a sort of charisma in the way she speaks.
COOKING
RANK/LEVEL: D+
SUMMARY: Aisha is a passable cook. Though she normally has people cook for her, she has taken an interest in the chemical and scientific side of cooking. While certainly great, and while she has a go-getter attitude in the kitchen, her skills are … lacking, and when mixed with an ingenuity and creative spirit, she often makes concoctions that are edible at best, unidentifiable at worst. However, she is more than capable of reading directions from a book and knows perfectly the terminology, and is more than willing to learn, granted she could find a teacher willing to put up with her “genius” inventions in the kitchen.
