RUMOR/SECRET: | It is rumoured that Lenna has secretly been engaged to another hero. (the rumour is completely false, but the media is determined it is true) |
Lenna Kawaha is a kind hearted and caring young woman, she is brilliant, to some perhaps overly chipper, and can be at times prideful. She is extremely passionate in her hero work and views training the next generation to of heroes to be of the upmost importance. She is rather polite as well as considerate of others. She tends to be overly affectionate not to mention distinctly patient and thus tends to be quite understanding. She is loving, sweet and forgiving. Lenna often goes out of her way to aid others, particularly putting in extra effort and support for her students which might be struggling. She is sensitive to others’ feelings, but some might call her with some accuracy, overly sensitive. She is too generous, too kind and often too quick to forgive others.
Lenna is not without fault, she often gets easily distressed when civilians are in danger as well as her students. Thus it is fair to say she can be rather too protective. Lenna seems to have a bad habit of finding the public light, whether she intends to or not. It is fortunate that she possesses rather good skills when it comes to public relations.
Her two greatest fears are that something might happen to her students and that she might fail her duty as a hero. As Lenna cannot bear the thought of anything happening to her students outside the classroom, if they are threatened she will fight with little fought for her own preservation. This desperate offense will unfortunately leave her vulnerable as well as render her responses predictable. (IE, if a student is threatened with harm, Lenna will block an attack meant for them, thus leaving herself open, or dive in the path of danger to shield them.)
Given Lenna's kind nature, she is more inclined to forgive villains, thus could find herself in a trap or caught off guard if one exploits this to their own advantage.
BACKGROUND HISTORY
PLACE OF BIRTH/HOMETOWN: | Paris, France |
PARENTS: | Rekari Kawaha, Jennette Kawaha |
SIBLINGS: | NA |
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: | NA |
OTHER: | Roki Kiyraha (Godfather) |
Despite her Japanese last name, Lenna was born and raised in France. Both of her parents were superheroes, forming the Steel Knights, a pair of powerful heroes. It came as no surprise to them, that their only daughter developed a Quirk. Yet it was fair to say, both were startled by the particular powers their child possessed, as it was not related to their own.
Lenna had a good childhood, she was well cared for and due to her kind nature tended to make friends wherever she went. Even at a young age she showed a willingness to help and support others which surprised many. She was quite clever so did well at school.
She first came to Japan as an exchange student to UA High, she rapidly fell in love with the country, vowing to one day live there. Her natural talent for languages enabled her to rapidly pick up Japanese. Indeed, Lenna is fluent in French, English, Japanese and a little German.
She greatly enjoyed her time in Japan, making many friends, but after the student exchange had to return back to her homeland of France, though her heart remained behind in Japan.
Life in France took a turn for the worse however, with both of her parents being killed fighting as part of a team against a fierce French villain. Despite the capture of the villain, the loss of her parents hit Lenna hard, she fell into the blackest depths of despair. One which she may have stayed in for a lot longer than she did were it not for a friend of her father's, Roki Kiyraha. How her father became close friends with the Japanese hero is a mystery to Lenna, but her father and Roki had sworn an oath to care for the other's family in the event something happened to them.
Thus Lenna came to live in Japan, it was not the return she had hoped for. Even the news that she would finish her studies at UA High did little to lift her spirits. Yet, the kindness of her father's friend who served as godfather and guardian to young Lenna and the support of her friends at UA High, were enough to help Lenna deal with her grief and come to terms with everything.
It is part of what makes her so caring for others now, that no one turned their backs on her when she suffered, so she as a result won't abandon anyone now.
Lenna graduated UA High and went to work as part of her godfather's hero agency. She rapidly earned a name for herself as kind and caring hero. Though given her attractive looks she tended to draw more media attention than that of other heroes, much to her annoyance.
After a few years of hero work, Lenna applied for a position of teacher at UA High. Ever since she first read about UA High whilst a student in France, it had been her dream to one day teach there. In spite of her nervousness for the interview, Lenna was accepted and offered the position.
She is now ready to start her first year as a teacher of students.

THE ARMORY
Hero Suit - Lenna tends to wear a suit that favours manoeuvrability over protection. As such only her arms and upper thighs/hips are guarded by a protective plates. These plates are constructed from kevlar, providing some protection from harm. The rest of the suit is unarmoured, offering no protection from harm or environmental hazards. She wears dark grey leggings with a blue diamond pattern running up the legs, sturdy combat boots, a short dark blue skirt which is a design influence taken from her mother's hero suit. In addition she wears a light blue jumper and a jacket. On her head she wears a black band, a design influence taken from her father's helmet.
Net Pistol - A short ranged device designed to capture or restrain villains. It is her first port of call when threatened or when she encounters a foe. The weapon is short ranged, but villains can dodge, break the net or catch and fling it back at Lenna. This one shot device requires her to make another as it is not possible to reload. This is premade by her quirk and as such is no different.
QUIRK & SKILLS
Mechanical Creation
TYPE: Emitter
RANK/LEVEL: B+
SUMMARY:
Lenna can create mechanical objects and weapons from her body, provided she knows how they are constructed and that she has built one personally. The parts or the entire item are generated from her body using the iron in her blood as the source material for the creation. As a result, particularly if she is making larger or complex items, Lenna can collapsed from exhaustion as a result of the loss of iron in her system.
Her most common creation is a small short ranged pistol which she uses to fire a wire mesh net with the intention of capturing villains with. (1 post to create, has to create a new one in order to use another shot)
When faced with more powerful foes, or if she has more time Lenna can create a larger more powerful version, which is more akin to a mortar than launches a larger version the net. This is however, more exhausting for her to do and given the longer range, it is easier for the villain to dodge. (Takes 3 posts to construct, an additional post to aim and fire, can only make one per thread.)
She can also generate the tools and parts she needs to make items in the field with her hands or repair damage to the environment she is fighting in. (1 post)
In addition when stressed out or anxious, Lenna seems to make screws, nuts and bolts without realising and without notable effect on her system. At least for a little while anyway. (Starts to feel weak/dizzy after three posts).
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
Lenna can create mechanical objects and weapons from her body, provided she knows how they are constructed/has read the plans for and that she has built one personally. Otherwise she will be unable to create it. If she chooses to make other weapons such as form example, a rifle, this will possess the same range as one produced in a factory. However, she cannot produce the ammunition for it.
The largest item dimensions she can produce are 1 meter by 1 meter. The smallest dimensions for items she can produce are the various sizes of nuts, bolts and screws.
The parts or the entire item are generated from her body using the iron in her blood as the source material for the creation. As a result, particularly if she is making larger or complex items, Lenna can collapsed from exhaustion as a result of the loss of iron in her system. In addition if she lacks enough iron to form the part or item she will be unable to and nothing will occur. However, by attempting to force her body to do so, Lenna will pass out and will suffer from severe migraines for the next few days.
In addition when stressed out or anxious, Lenna seems to make screws, nuts and bolts without realising and without notable effect on her system. At least for a little while anyway. (Starts to feel weak/dizzy after three posts).
Physically, Lenna herself is not the strongest individual so easily can be beaten in a fight and or restrained. Her Quirk is particularly vulnerable to water and electricity.
Her nets are vulnerable to extreme cold, heat, acid and magnets, since the first freezes them solid making them easy to shatter, heat melts along with acids and magnets can bend them or worse throw them back at Lenna herself.
They can be dodged, though the larger version of her net fired from her mortar is the easiest to avoid, the pistol is harder due to it's short range, but it is her most predictable attack.
As both are one shot, thus requiring her to make a new one, there is a window of opportunity to attack her after a successful dodge or net destruction. If Lenna cannot make space to create another one, she is vulnerable.
The maximum range of the net pistol is 10 meters, though it's effective range is 5 meters. The mortar on the other hand has an larger range, it's maximum being 150 meters. However it is widely inaccurate at such a distance, it's effective range being between 75 meters to 30 meters. It cannot be used against targets closer than that. In addition it requires a clean lane of fire, free from overhead obstructions as it can catch or otherwise be tangled on power lines, tree branches etc
The nets can also be caught and flung back at Lenna, or scooped up and used against her. Since she cannot remove them, she would have to free herself manually. She would be vulnerable to attack, harm or be easy to escape from or capture as a result.
Magnetic Quirks, could easily destroy or disable Lenna's creations or snatch them from her. In addition, they could use the iron in her body to freeze her in place.
The devices she creates can be used against her, so if a villain got hold of something she made, they can use it on her with no ill effect.
Lenna can produce only one small item per post, for a maximum of five posts in a thread. She can push herself to produce two items in a post, however it will leave her exhausted if she performs this twice in a single thread.
For larger items she can only produce two per thread, limited to a three post gap between production.

Linguist
RANK/LEVEL: A
SUMMARY:
Lenna has a natural talent for languages, as such she has used this skill of her's to learn to speak both Japanese and English fluently on top of
native French. She has recently started to learn German. Lenna has always been fascinated by languages, though her favourite to learn was Japanese. This proved to be handy since she ended up living and working in Japan.
Accurate
RANK/LEVEL: B
SUMMARY:
Lenna has undergone ranged weapons training in order to become more accurate with her ranged base attacks used by her Quirk. She is a good shot with both her net weapons, but also the more conventional firearm of the M9 Berreta. (Though she would never use the latter on anyone and does not carry it)
Krav Maga
RANK/LEVEL: B
SUMMARY:
Lenna has learned the Israeli Self Defence martial art in order to aid her in her hero work. She is a skilled practitioner of it, having learned a variety of defensive techniques, including knife defence, choke defences and how to disarm enemies safely and effectively. In a fight, though Lenna knows Krav Maga (Israeli Martial Arts), she is predictable in her moves and attacks, as such a villain or foe will be readily able to guess her next action before she makes it after just a brief clash.
