Kane appears to be a young-looking almost androgynous human man with purple hair and light purple eyes. His hair tends to get in the way of his eyes, and one can usually see part of it held back with a (suspiciously) pastel-colored hair clip so he can see. He appears thin and tends to wear neutral colors and baggy clothes, even when out and about doing "Vigilante Work"
Kiseichuu, on the other hand, has a flair for the dramatic. His hair is red and left stylized with pink eyes to match. Kiseichuu would love to keep his appearance changing, but Kane insists on consistency so they don't forget what they look like. Kiseichuu tends to enjoy wearing suits or other fancy clothes and several more earrings than Kane, as well as having a more white/red/gold palette for clothing.
Both tend to stick around the 6 foot in height mark and the 180 pounds mark, are relatively fair skinned, and enjoy having their nails colored purple/black or red/gold respectively to Kane and Kiseichuu.

PERSONALITY
LIKES -Food-Quiet -Naps -People that feed him -Rain | DISLIKES -Loud Noises-People asking too many questions -Himself -Uniforms -Terrified of fire |
RUMOR/SECRET: | He ate his twin in the womb -He was very nearly arrested/captured -Chihiro Takenaka is harboring him. |
Kane is... An interesting person at times. He suffers from a split personality, with the other side of him being named Kiseichuu (Which literally translates to Parasite, Kiseichuu hates this name but Kane refuses to call him anything else.)
Kane is very much more passive and tends to try and avoid conflict due to his own fear of his quirk, afraid to let it run rampant or for him to lose control to Kiseichuu. As such when he does use his quirk, it's very limited and he only ever uses one adaptation at a time.
He has no issue with dealing with things like gore and such that others may find unsavory, and can usually be found snacking on something if he's not napping to conserve Biomass and energy.
Kane is usually pretty mellow, and is very hard to get truly angry. He likes to avoid fighting if he can, and is always afraid he will do serious damage or even kill someone by accident. Kiseichuu can be somewhat quick to anger, on the other hand, and has no issues with seriously harming or killing people. While Kane is more reserved and quiet, Kiseichuu is more brash and outgoing, usually flirty by nature when not angry.
While primarily carnivorous, Kane and Kiseichuu will eat anything they can convert to Biomass such as leaves, sticks, bone, cotton and even more odd substances like graphite and organic polymers like carbon fiber and even plastic, but the further from organic it is, the harder it is for him to convert.
Kane and Kiseichuu both enjoy city life, not only for convenience but for the abundance of food, both restaurants and... Living things. They are both distraught over the noise of the city, but can manage to handle it for the most part unless things get out of hand.
Kiseichuu tends to break free and take over for Kane in a combat situation if Kane either gets too hurt or too mad/frustrated with the opponent. Though he will recede in the presence of Fire or Loud Noises.
Both are instinctual and primal by nature, tending to be more reactive than proactive when it comes to fights. Planning isn't his strongest suit, but Kane can adapt to most situations in order to survive.

BACKGROUND HISTORY
PLACE OF BIRTH/HOMETOWN: | Tokyo, Japan |
PARENTS: | Father: Pro Hero Izori (Carbonizer) (Deceased) Mother: Villain Consumptress (Yukitara) (Deceased) |
SIBLINGS: | Abel (Consumed in Womb) |
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: | N/A |
OTHER: | N/A |
Kane was born from the one night fling of the Pro Hero Carbonizer and the Villain Consumptress. Carbonizer had the ability to make his body shift into different forms of Carbon and such(Think Greed from Fullmetal Alchemist) and Consumptress was able to convert things she consumed into strength and adaptations, so Kane's power is a mix of the two. It's unclear whether they knew about each other or not, but shortly after Kane was born, he was put into foster care due to both the nature of his parents and also the fact they were both killed in the line of duty/villainy. This led to a series of foster homes, his first lasting the longest due to the fact that it was before his quirk really manifested too seriously.
However, once it became apparent that Kane's "Imaginary Friend" was much more than that, and the fact that he was caught snacking on household pets or almost snacking on foster siblings, he quickly found his way into being homeless. Growing up, he spent most of his time just surviving, eating rats or other things in order to keep going... He even often considered eating villains and thugs, but Kane was quick to shut Kiseichuu's ideas on that down. While he does enjoy the idea of being a hero, he figures his powers and abilities mark him as more of a villain at this point in his life. After a few years, he catches the attention of some small-time heroes, and ends up hurting them before they can get away, which puts him on the alert list and he has to run from Tokyo in order to stay out of jail. Fastforward several years and a few more relocations and...

Kane started his most recent memories surviving on the streets. He only remembers his name and what both himself and Kiseichuu look like. He doesn't remember any crimes he may have done, or people he may have hurt. Though he tends to act out of self defense or the need for sustenance than anything malicious... It's not long before Chihiro Takenaka and her team are tipped off to Kane and are sent to deal with him. Though they find what appears to be a mostly meek, quiet, and passive guy with no memories of who he was or what he'd done in the past engaged in a fight with a fire-based quirk user, they save him and Chihiro tends to his injuries, but the scars remain. After this, Chihiro was adamant about giving the guy a second chance, offering to take him under her wing and even to let him crash at her place to keep an eye on him and help keep him from doing anything stupid.
This created an unlikely bond between the two, and though Chihiro does chide him quite often with her voice, a perfect way to subdue him with sound, he finds himself more pleased that she gave him a second chance. Though he is grateful he's not in jail or dead right now. He just wishes there was a better way to control the threat of evil inside him.
THE ARMORY
-Notebook
-Pictures of Self and Kiseichuu
-Snacks (Anything from Granola to Jerky to a backpack full of Bento or riceballs. Whatever he can pack and bring.)
-Due to the nature of his Quirk, he doesn't tend to carry much, though maybe some hunger suppressants would help.

QUIRK & SKILLS
Parasyte
TYPE: Transformation
RANK/LEVEL: A
SUMMARY:
Kane's quirk is Parasyte. Using Parasyte Kane is able to change parts of his body into various forms. Parasyte initially was a rather dangerous quirk due to the free form modification it allows the using. When first acquiring the quirk, Kane experienced all sorts of failures in shifting his body. Shifting one's body into an entirely different form is by no means easy making one having to be careful and meticulous when experimenting. So while Kane's potential is virtually limitless he still has to practice with shapeshifting as willy-nilly changing forms into ones he hasn't perfected will leave his body or appendage in likely a blob like shape.
Having practiced with Parasyte for several years, Kane has learned to seamlessly shift the characteristics of his body. Shifting his facial features or body type is a fairly easy thing seeing as how the changes are primarily surface level. Radially shifting his size from either a small girl or hulking giant requires a bit more finesse however seeing as how their forms are so different. However if it's something like changing the body within a five foot to seven foot dimension of size, Kane can do it without issue.
After perfecting changing his form, Kane naturally went to learn how to craft clothes from his own matter. Doing so is good for quick camouflage changes however the fact that the clothes are made from his own body means the resulting 'fabric' will feel very skin-like in nature. Learning these skills helped Kane blend in with society helping him eke out a living. However there were times where Kane had to defend himself. Kane's first actual combat ability was when he accidentally changed his fingers into claws. Being that the modification was a relatively small one, it was almost done instinctually. The insides of his fingers had been changed to be very sharp in nature and with his new found weapon, Kane found he was able to deal and impressive amount of damage. From there the flood gates had been opened. If he could do that with his fingers...what else could he do?
From the claws his pursuit to explore his quirk began. This eventually led to him developing a bone-like armor ability, wings which made him capable of flying for a short time and a variety of other abilities. While Kane is capable of shifting into anything, doing so without practice will result in an instant failure and blobby mess of whatever he tried to create.
The body morphs he can currently achive are as below:
- Claws
- Wings
- Skeletal Restructuring
- Hair/Eye/Skin Pigment Changing
- Bladed Arms
- Voice Modulation
- Make clothes
- Tentacles (Arms only: Can lift what he can normally lift)
- Biological Armor (As strong as organic bone)
He can also increase muscle mass (Increased Strength/Speed depending on muscles affected). He can lift small commercial vehicles with ease, and turn over larger trucks with a single push/kick. He can break concrete and other similar materials, dent metals with one blow, and with many blows can make holes in them. For speed, he can reach up to 50m/ph when moving unobstructed. Any hard object made by his quirk has up to the strength of organic bone.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
One of Kane's biggest weaknesses is sound. Certain frequencies and volumes can incapacitate or even harm him due to the vibrations messing with cellular structure and molecular bonds that he needs to maintain in order to use his quirk. Another big weakness is fire, heat breaks those bonds just as effectively and as such he does his best to stay away from explosions.
While Kane's body can adapt to multiple situations, he does require time to change his physiology (Two posts.)
Kane's transformations can be lumped into one of two categories. Simple transformations can be used in conjunction with each other. Complex transformations however which need more concentration due to their unusual nature can only be used one at a time.
Simple Transformations
-Claws
-Hair/Eye/Skin Pigment Changing
- Voice Modulation
-Make clothes
-Skeletal Restructuring
Complex transformations
-Wings
-Tentacles
-Biological Armor (As strong as organic bone)
-Muscle mass (Increased Strength/Speed depending on muscles affected)
-Bladed Arms
Overuse of his power causes Memory Loss, and as such due to practicing and using his Quirk to enhance it, he tends to only remember things that happened around a week ago. To combat this he keeps a notebook to jot down important things as well as pictures of himself and Kiseichuu so they don't forget what they look like. Constant interaction with someone will help him remember them, such as Chihiro Takenaka, but he tends to forget things he finds unimportant faster (like random Pro Heroes or Villains he doesn't find an interest in).
Depending on what he's making/using, the Biomass cost is different. From very small to requiring him to eat something equivalent to an entire elephant or more. The more he uses, the hungrier he gets, and when he gets too hungry any living thing close by starts looking really tasty. To counteract this, he tries to keep snacks on hand and limit his own power use, but accidents happen...
His body also uses up food three times as fast as a normal human. So if a typical human could go three weeks without eating before starving, for example, Kane can only go one week. And after about four days is when he starts to get REAL hungry as stated above.
Fatigue is another issue with using his Quirk too much. He can currently at maximum, change between forms 10 times per thread.
There's also been the consideration that his Quirk is driving him to a mild level of insanity due to the split personalities, but it's unclear if this is true or not as he still seems in relative control when rested, not agitated, and with his hunger sated.

Animal-Like Instincts
RANK/LEVEL: C
SUMMARY:
Kane's instincts have been honed for survival from living on the streets surrounded by both heroes and villains. He can react well to most situations without the aid of his quirk and almost has a "danger-sense" to help with his reaction times in order to keep himself out of harm's way. This skill can be enhanced via physiology changes to Kane's form such as larger ears for hearing, better olfactory sensors for smell, modified eyes for things like nightvision or distance sight. But he rarely uses these changes to his body... Mostly because he forgets about the non-combat abilities he has access to. Even though he has them in his notebook.
Parkour
RANK/LEVEL: E
SUMMARY:
Since Chihiro is the hero who found him and he tends to stick near her when not at school seeing as she's basically his mentor/keeper, he's had to try and pick up some free-running/parkour seeing as she does it so much. He's not very good at it. He ends up using his Quirk a lot instead.
Speed Reading/Writing
RANK/LEVEL: B
SUMMARY:
Due to the nature of his Memory Loss, Kane has picked up the ability to read and write things down very quickly to both jot things into his Notebook and to Read things in it. Potential use for Recon is there, but applications have not been utilized other than for personal use.
Natural Charisma
RANK/LEVEL: C
SUMMARY:
While not Kane's strong suit, Kiseichuu is actually a very Charisatic presence in a room. Whether being flirty and charming or Intimidating and Rude, he can leave an impression. This extends to how he holds himself with a more elegant, regal approach to Kane's more reserved posture. Kiseichuu is definitely the more... Noticeable of the two.
