Today was the big one. The whole week had been a little intense for Ryuga, more so than she needed. So what better way than to take a sandbag, and use it for her own fighting capability? It was strength day, and she needed to let out some aggression. What better way than to use the sandbag for her own boxing? So she did, tying up the bag to a very sturdy tree branch in the school, since she felt like being outside in the spring. Times like these, she was glad that she learned of sports bras. Too bad she was wearing the only one she had. Strength workouts were always hell on her arms, though she admittedly hadn't been using her legs much, or her dragonlung. All she did was jab, jab, jab, left hook, right hook. Jab, jab, jab. Always minding the gap between her and the sandbag. Her fists flew like fire. Impact, impact, smack, smack. Sweat flew with the wind, each slam of her fist sending the sandbag a bit just a little. It was a long session of pent-up aggression for the sweat-drenched Ryuga, but as she found herself laying on the grass, her gloved hands resting behind her tied-up hair, she felt herself doze off slowly, right there on the school grounds. Days off like these, it just felt nice to rest. After letting it all out of her system, she could... finally... All of that studying, that tutoring, that training for Futaba, and then doing it for herself, she hadn't realized just how tired she was. Every night that week, she had found her face smashed into the pillow, and out like a light. Maybe fifteen hours of sleep in one week wasn't good for her health. Part of her knew she couldn't stay asleep. Luckily, for the young blonde girl, she wouldn't have to for much longer. A new friend would soon be arriving.

It had been a few days since Elke had arrived at U.A., and the week had not been easy on her. The flight took place over several days and she was just completely exhausted of new places. Just a week ago she had said goodbye to her father and mother, knowing that she won't be able to see them for the next few years. Was this how baby birds leave their nest? Would she too learn to fly on her own two wings? The thought didn't last long as she laughed out heartily. Elke had been sitting on the side of her bed, regaling in the sheer size of the mattress. Back home she slept on a normal small bed built for someone her size; courtesy of her father. Here, the bed was ginormous! She could spread her arms out to either side, she could stretch widely and no matter where she ended up, her hands and feet landed back on the bed itself. This was true comfort. That is until a gust of wind blew around her curtains letting rays of light pour into the room. How long was she lollygagging on her bed? Far too long, of course. "Papa would kill me if he saw me wasting so much time." A simple phrase, but one that far too true. Since she was new and had spent most of her time catching up with what she missed in class and meeting her fellows, Elke figured it was finally time to actually stretch her legs; and by legs she meant quirk. It was flying time! Throwing on her normal outfit, which to others would look far too formal to be normal, Elke devised what her flight path would be. First, she would get a nice clearing away from the dorms; didn't want to accidentally slam into a building first. Her dress came over her head, fitting tightly around her body. Second, she would try to pick up as much speed as she could, aiming towards the normal school grounds where she was told other students would practice! She slid on her coat, buckling the belt under her chest and buttoning all 6 buttons of the coat itself. Third, she would begin as impressive of an entrance as she could to one of the students there! That way, whoever she found absolutely had to be her friend! By this time she had managed to get her arms in her sleeves and had pulled up her thigh high boots. With a quick movement, her jacket was over her shoulders and her oversized hat was on her head; and with all of that, she was rushing out the door. Running out of the dorms with a huge grin on her face, she stopped several meters away from the entrance, clicking her heels together, then closing her eyes while lowering herself to the ground. That familiar rumbling could be felt and as her eyes opened the valves on her back burst open with an intense torrent of air. Within milliseconds the pint-sized woman was launched into the sky with alarming speed; a literal human rocket. She quickly reached half the height of most of the buildings in UA but kept herself from climbing higher for fear of being seen too soon. Her thrusters changed their angle to keep herself flying forward it would be mere moments before she reached the training grounds. Slowing down her release of air she circled the field looking for anyone and unfortunately for her, it looked like everyone was taking the day off from training. Were students here more laid back than she expected? No, that's not the case; they were already that far ahead! She needed to catch up! Looking around quickly something caught her eye; a glint shone from under a tree as the sun above reflected off of small bits of moisture covering a sandbag. "Perfect!" Elke grinned, "Nobody will mind if I practice blasting my quirk around here I'm sure." Twisting her body, she boosted towards the sandbag. By the time she had crossed the field, her body started to lose some of the 'plump' factor that was a 'side effect' of her quirk being filled. It was quite easy to physically feel when her quirk was starting to run low as well, so landing soon became a very high priority. Choosing a spot just under the tree, she decided to dive and perform a rolling recovery; or rather she would have if she hadn't noticed the blonde haired student unconscious on the ground. In a panic, with reflexes she didn't even know she had, she turned off her back thrusters, threw her feet toward the sleeping woman, aimed her hand at her as well, and with a loud roar that one would only expect to hear from a tornado tearing apart the house next door the audible sound of rushing went departed the small figure. She wasn't far enough that her wind would lift, or throw the other girl, but the grass around her rustled as if a Helicopter had landed nearby. A slight delay was all Elke had to plan her trajectory, and it wasn't enough; she watched in horror as the wind battered the student, afraid that the student might think that she had just assaulted her when a quick realization popped in her head. Newton's third law of motion states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Elke was suspended in the air for a brief moment simply due to the force her wind exerted in the opposite direction, and like the best Looney Toons character, the moment this realization hit her, physics appeared to kick back into effect. Rocketing upward, at an odd angle matching the one she had entered from, the small living hurricane slammed into the top of the tree. Crash, crack, boom; twigs snapped, and without knowing it, Elke was already holding onto one of the branches for dear life. Somehow, she was unscathed. Peering around one of the larger branches, she watched as her coat floated to the ground, following the small gusts of winds Elke had left in her tracks, right over to the girl who had just been blasted with air. "Aaah! My jacket!" Elke cried from the tree, reaching outward before tilting, and panicking as she reaffirmed her grasp on the tree. By now, the small girl had emptied most of the air from her system, and her refuelling process started to kick in; she lost almost all of her voluptuous curves but was still far from a state where she appeared emaciated. "A-Are you ok!?" her voice cried out to the woman she most likely just gave a surprise rude awakening.

Ryuga had dozed off. The winds ever so gentle upon her face. She had been so tired. She threw her mind and body to the wringer on a day-to-day basis, and all she had to show for it was complete exhaustion. If she could just rest for an hour, she'd be able to get back to it. To punching that sandbag, to being able to train her boxing. But, she was just so tired... It reminded her of Aisuru... * * * "Alright sweetheart. Gimme whatcha got!" the brunette man would hold up the pads, as a younger Ryuga, shorter hair would begin to poorly attempt to box at them. Punching with jabs that felt more like slabs, and hooks that looked more like dancing. She had watched countless videos on boxing to attempt to mimic it, but it just wasn't sticking like her studies were. It was something she was bad at.
She remembered watching him smile the whole time. Every time one jab would make any bit of a lasting impact. Aisuru was a short guy, standing about 5'5'', a tad effeminate for a guy. That was to be expected for his job, after all. Yet even in his pink fluffy apron, he still gave Ryuga the time to try and get better.
It was at some point, that Aisuru would call it quits, handing Ryuga a water bottle and smiling. "I'm so proud of you, Ryuga." he spoke like a father proud, too tired to give Ryuga that fatherly attention she needed. Yet, it was to pay for the house they could do this in, so even so he still sounded happy.
"Not... good enough, dad. U.A. feels so far away from me." Younger Ryuga spoke, wiping away beads of sweat on her face.
Aisuru leaned down to hug his daughter, pulling her in tightly. "Rome wasn't built in a day, sweetheart. You're getting better. I can tell." he landed a kiss on her forehead, as he got up, and pulled off the apron, and his jacket that did nothing to cover his midriff. "Daddy will be back after work. Foods in the fridge." he smiled.
"Bye dad."
"Bye, sweetheart."
Door close.* * * ... the wind felt really nice upon her skin. Blowing ever so gently... ah, there was a gust. It felt so serene. Well, not quite. A little heavier. In fact, it felt like the gentle breeze was becoming more and more... Like a helicopter gently moving its way down, forcing turbulent wind to brush upon the person down... Wait a second... A helicopter?! Ryuga's bagged orange globes shot open, as she saw the scene before her, she felt an excessive amount of wind brush the grass away. Ryuga was extremely tired, as her face seemed to paint the picture of fear. She had dozed off for just a moment, yet this is what happened when she did. Ryuga felt herself watching this almost cartoonishly silly girl suspended in the air. A villain?! Ryuga had never seen her before. Or maybe she had just forgotten? As she watched the girl rocket upwards and crash into the tree, yet it didn't seem like she was bad at all. Quite the contrary, as Ryuga would see her holding on for dear life onto a tree branch, and see her jacket gently coax the wind to its destination. Ryuga held a hand up and caught the jacket, as she looked over to Elke. One line made sure Ryuga's doubts were put to rest. The blonde would looked worried, like an older sister as she put the jacket on her shoulder. "I'm fine! Here, hold on!" Ryuga would find her way underneath the smaller girl, holding her hands out in an attempt to catch her. "Go ahead and let go! I'll catch you!" Ryuga called out. She was sure of being able to catch the small girl, with little problems. She had been training in the class, and had acquired a fair bit of muscle on her now. Not a lot, but enough to see definition. No way was she letting this girl fall to break a leg or something. What a way to meet.

When the other girl replied to her Elke sighed in relief. She had no idea what would have happened if she accidentally hurt a fellow student. The repercussions for such an event could be extreme; after all she had only been there for maybe a few days. Red faced in embarassment, she hid her face away from the girl below as they offered to catch her. Catch her, hah! As if she'd let them do that. Elke began inhaling air as fast as she could; she needed to get down and truthfully, falling into the arms of someone she didn't know was terrifying. In her situation however, she a response had to be given; after all one must keep face in adversity. "A-ah... n-n-no that's fine. I can stay right here." Smooth, Elke, she thought to herself. Now the she'll know that you are afraid of letting someone catch you. These thoughts caused her face to turn red even more, to the point where she shook it side to side violently. "I can get down myself!" Sitting up, she patted her cheeks to help calm down but in doing so, she felt the world turning. The body's natural gyroscope began to kick in and her head tilted, slowly moving to the right. With a brain too rustled to comprehend what was going on, next thing she knew she was now vertically next to the tree, before the tree itself quickly darted out of her reach. Elke began to fall. In a panic she twisted her body while reaching out to the branch in an attempt to catch hold but was far too late in doing so. Around halfway down she twisted and contorted mid-air like what a skilled gymnast would do to change directions, or a cat when it is trying to land on it's feet. Instead, she was greeted to seeing the blonde from earlier; whether she was looking up or not due to Elke's lies, she outstretched her arms into a 'catch me' motion before closing her eyes. The entire way down she couldn't help but screaming. She had fallen from the sky multiple times, but never without a safety net. Back home she could always trust to just turn off her thrusters mid-air and fall, only to be caught by a net. It was rather fun, bouncing off the net here and there but now she was without that safety, like a child removing the training wheels for the first time on their bike. Why had she flown so willingly earlier? These questions she had to ask herself, but another time perhaps. Currently her mind was awaiting the rough impact and expected terrible taste of dirt.

It didn't take a genius to see that this small German girl needed help. It didn't even take an average intelligence girl to see that. Thankfully, Ryuga was closer to the former over the latter, and she knew that despite the facade of toughness she seemed to emulate was all hot air. Which was fitting, considering that this was a girl who actually fired air. The blonde couldn't help but smile, stifling a laugh at the pun in her head. She was a lover of pun, sue her! There was still this facade of toughness of the girl wanting to come down herself, and while Ryuga admired her for wanting to do that, her body language spoke volumes more. Was she scared of heights? Doubtful, she could fly. No, perhaps a different train of thought was needed? Maybe her air quirk was finite like her Dragonlung? That had to be it! Once the fall had happened, Ryuga's senses were flaring, as she held her arms out in response to Elke's own flying out in their 'catch me' motion. Grace was a word given to those who have a certain style. While it seemed the smaller girl had a little elegance in falling, at least enough to turn her body around, Ryuga could tell she needed that catch, or she would be in trouble. That was apparent by the screaming too. Ryuga held her hands up to catch the girl, and once the impact was made, she felt the slam of about... forty pounds? Probably more? She felt a forty pound impact from a not so tall tree, and while Ryuga did stumble a bit in the catch, she did have the strength to catch her safely, while falling down onto her own rear. Letting out a sigh of relief, she looked at the smaller girl with a smile. "Are you okay?"That was a little more adventurous than she would have liked.

Just as Elke had expected impact, her eyes had been snapped shut, but she still had an inkling as to where the blonde was going to be, keeping her arms outstretched towards her. She felt something wrap around her shoulders, her own arms brushing around what feels like the shoulders of another, before a sudden stop, followed by movement once more. It didn't take a brain surgeon to realize what happened; The girl caught Elke successfully but was knocked off of her own feet in the process. A second, landing, this time much softer than the initial impact. From the shock and surprise of being caught, and the recent event of launching herself into the tree, Elke's fight or flight response was still cranked up past 11. With her arms now around another object, still unable to feel the solid ground, she clasped around whatever object she was on top of; this object happened to be the blonde girl herself. She'd stick this way until a feminine voice spoke out from near her head. Was she ok? Elke began to calm down, her eyes opened. Once more to her surprise, her vision was flooded by smooth skin; during her death grip she had pressed her face against the blonde's shoulder. Face turning red, she released her hug, sitting up still on top of the girl before looking at her own arms in shock. Hugging another student, this soon? Elke what was wrong with you! Her own mind berated her before she started scanning up and down the student she had collided with. She was much taller than Elke was, but this was a given. She seemed to have been practising earlier, but it couldn't have been that long ago. During this scan of hers, she realized her jacket was slung over the girl's shoulder. A quick snatch was what would follow. Elke's face was still completely red during these moments, and she would quickly hide underneath the jacket itself. If one inspected Elke's outfit without her jacket on, they would easily notice that dress had no back to it, and on an even closer inspection they would easily be able to see her quirk itself, two flaps of skin that went over her shoulder blades a bit more than normal; these same flaps could be seen on the sides of her arms, and just below her collarbone. Whilst the small silver haired living hurricane was hiding herself behind her oversized jacket, she would wiggle slightly, shifting off of Ryuga and landing on the ground. "S-s-sorry. Y-yeah I'm fine. H-how about yourself?" Elke went from headstrong to completely shy and flustered by her current situation, responding to the earlier question in kind; after all, she did just land on her.

The blonde was now grounded, after catching the girl, and after a good minute or two of holding her after the impact, Ryuga asked the question. Unfortunately, her hair was a bit of a mess due to sleeping on the grass. The fatigue she felt was still there, and it was hard to focus on a day like today, when she could just drif off to the rest and relaxation of slumber. As Elke would calm down, and opened her eyes, Ryuga would look on, same smile on her face. She still tried to be friendly, all the same, even after she felt the blunt force of a forty pound girl falling from the tree. As Elke would remove herself from the hug, red in the face. Taking this moment she scanned the girl. Shorter, but not necessarily younger than her. Ryuga would have imagined not, anyways, if she were on the school grounds, she was likely a student. Right? As Ryuga felt movement from atop of her, she watched as the coat that she had on her shoulder was removed by the girl. It was her coat, so it made sense, and Ryuga would have given it back if she had just asked. But just before covering herself with the jacket, Ryuga did take a moment to finally notice the Quirk. Maybe it was a bit of mental lag from sleep deprivation. Skin flaps? Backless dress...? Ability to fly... Ryuga was piecing it together slowly, but the idea finally took form. Her ability had something to do with flight, but admittedly she wasn't thinking at peak capacity yet. The Quirk had something to do with those flaps of skin, but the idea she was forming were sub-par to her normal. When Elke would pop off of her and land on the ground, Ryuga leaned back and nodded. "That's a relief! I'm fine. A little bruised, but you don't become a hero without getting a few." she wiped her face. Had she been sweating? Maybe it was because of that long session of boxing... likely. "I'm Ryuga. Ryuga Hoden, 1-A. You?" she asked, holding out a hand. She had no intention of talking down to the smaller girl, sure that she belonged here from the get-go. A possible aspect of naivety, but no less friendly.

Peering back towards the other student, Elke could see the gears turning inside her fellow's head. Of course, the situation would probably be quite confusing; it's not often that such rude awakenings occur and Elke understood that perfectly. She had to continue hiding behind her jacket though, her cheeks were still blushing uncontrollably. Something about the whole situation had her flustered, and it was probably both the surprise of how she just met her fellow student but mostly the familiar smell of sweat had gotten to her. One could only assume that the sandbag nearby had been used for some sort of exercise, and it was whom she had accidentally assailed that had been using it. With slightly panicked eyes, Elke stared directly at Ryuga after the brief introduction. A few sputters of words came from her but she was locked down hard. Why couldn't she speak? Was it too much shock? That can't be it. "E-El..." she tried again; first introductions were hard and it seemed even harder now. No, that wasn't right, it was just getting hard to breathe. Wait, breathing! Don't forget to breathe! A loud gasp of breath came from behind the jacket as the small girl's eyes lost their shock and returned to normal. In, out, in, out; breathing normally once more she regained her composure and began to speak again. "N-Nice to meet you Ryuga. I'm Elke Klein; I'm... new to UA..." She lowered her jacket, revealing a worried smile. "I'm in class 1-A as well. Just transferred from overseas." It was then she realized the hand gesture, an offer of a handshake. Reaching out, she shook Ryuga's hand, or rather it would be the opposite as her hands were so much smaller; it was like a handshake between a small doll and a normal sized woman. After the handshake, Elke continued to speak; now that she was introduced to this Ryuga character, she felt more at ease. "Sorry about the whole... almost landing on you bit." She sighed, eyes glancing at the ground. "I didn't see you sleeping in the grass, just the sandbag and... I wondered if I could knock it over..." Shifting eyes from side to side, she continued. "It looks like you were using it though if you want I can... go elsewhere." Elke's face showed complete regret. She knew that first impressions were lost, and felt that such a negative start to their relationship meant that she had potentially made an 'enemy' with someone in her class so soon; this was the opposite of what she set out to achieve that day. By now the jacket had been placed back around her shoulders, revealing a thinner side to Elke than what normally would have been revealed. Her tanks were close to empty, it was costly to fly from the dorms to the training fields and her tanks needed refilling. As they had been talking however, Elke's body seemed to very slowly begin the 'plump' up. It wasn't extremely noticable, like watching grass grow, but it was still there and most likely easier to notice as her clothes appeared extra loose in their current state before Elke started to fill them tighter, but then loosened after a bit before slowly tightening again; if her own breathing wasn't visible alongside this, it wouldn't be noticable.

A little awkwardness, but Ryuga was fine with awkwardness. After all, she had become friends with Ueda-san! She was akin to the most awkward, definitely easier to speak with than Ueda-san was. Though, if Ryuga were being honest, there was something more there than there was here, and the blonde couldn't put her finger on what. As if prying eyes were more prevalent with Kagami, but that must have been the blonde's imagination. Hearing the stutter, and inability to talk had Ryuga a little concerned. Had she scared her? Ryuga had to consider that possibility. Was she not able to speak much? She had just said something though, asking if she were okay! That couldn't be it, what was it... the loud gasp sent the blonde back to reality, and than she understood. She just forgot how to breathe. As one does. Ryuga rose a brow, as she listened to the girl introduce herself. Elke Klein. A German student? That was pretty exciting; most of them weren't foreign, or well, so Ryuga thought. Wolff-san struck her as more foreign, as the surname seemed to distinguish him as such. More interesting than that, was the claim of where she had been assigned to class-wise. Another 1-A female?! Ryuga felt her smile widen; her beaming grew as their handshake was made, and while it felt... odd, to shake hands with one so small, Ryuga was just happier that they had another female student. Being that Ryuga hadn't spoken with all of the students, she knew there were more, but Himura-san and Ueda-san were the only ones so far she could reasonably talk to girl-to-girl. Now, Klein-san was added to the fray! That was wonderful news, absolutely wonderful news! "It's an absolute delight, Klein-san." the blonde made a smile as their handshake was shared, and as their hands departed, the girl continued to beam, even if Elke was more concerned about about landing on her. It was utilizing her Quirk, which was extremely cool! She seemed too apologetic, and thought that just because of a first impression, it would deter their friendship. A hand on her shoulder should tell Elke otherwise, so Ryuga did just that. With her left hand on her shoulder, she would shake her head. "Klein-san. It's okay. This is U.A. This is no more a crazy occurrence than everything else, so please don't worry about it!" the blonde would keep her beaming smile, showing her grin as she pat her shoulder and leaned backwards. She spoke out, relaxing a little now that the danger of Elke falling was averted. Her smile was still just as radiant, and her orange globes would watch as... wait, was she growing? "No need. I get to make a new friend today! I can't make you stay, but I would love if you did." As she would stare on, the sleep-deprived Ryuga figured she were seeing things. At least, so the young dragon girl would think, as she looked at Elke with a curious glance. Still. "At least. If you want a friend like me, Klein-san." What a wholesome duo these two would be.

Elke was about to step away, to run from this encounter like her mind screamed at her to do despite the positive words from Ryuga, but the single hand placed on her shoulder caused her to look up at the other student. She was smiling, beaming with joy. Was this such a momentous occasion that one would be filled with so much glee? Such a smile was contagious, and Elke couldn't help but respond in kind as a joyful smile slowly spread across her own face, vanishing as her eyes darted away, but returned once more when Ryuga noted to not worry about the recent event. Friends, first it was Ren and now Ryuga. It was far more than she could have wished for, two friends in a new country before school could even start. Certainly, she'd stand her ground. With a smile as vibrant as Ryuga's own, Elke's eyes would seem to sparkle before regaining their composure, but the happiness would say. "Friends!? Yes oh goodness yes! We'll uhm...! Nice to meet you Ryu-wait I just said that." Her glee seemed to wipe her memory of the embarrassing moment before, causing her to nearly greet their fellow student a second time before she looked around. "S-so you were practising over here? Is it related to your quirk?" She'd practically prance over to the sandbag; it was much, much larger than her. Still giddy from the recent interaction she would kneel with both her hands held palms out to the ground, before a large torrent of wind shot forth while she started her jump up. Launching a good several feet into the air, she twisted and landed on the top of the sandbag. Such a landing was slightly awkward, causing her to flail her arms around as she started falling backwards but she managed to re-orient herself before she started giggling with a smile, wiggling her feet back and forth. "What do you do for fun, Ryuga-san?" An expectant look went from Elke, peering from back from behind her giggling form, right hand in front of her face while doing so. She was happy that things turned out better than she anticipated. "I like flying. It's the best feeling in the world!" When asking someone else what they liked to do it was only fair to offer information on what you like to do.

I rarely have time for fun. [attr="class","aodmain"] There was a distinct cuteness in Klein-san the more Ryuga looked upon her. But what made Ryuga happier was not only that smile that seemed to finally reflect on the girl. The golden dragon girl had to admit, the flying silver-haired beauty smiled with a radiance that not many shared; Himura-san shared it, surely. But no other girl Ryuga could think of, at least, not of the classmates she had a sit down with. Maybe Seraphine-san, but uh. Well, about Seraphine-san glowing compared to their other classmates, Ryuga had to admit one infallible truth. [break][break] That was a different kind of radiance. [break][break] What really took Ryuga's heart, was the acceptance of the new friendship. Ryuga was friendly with everyone in the class; from Tomoshibi-san, to Suzuki-san, all the way to even Satou-san, who admittedly was more of a rival she needed to overcome. But Klein-san? She wasn't quite that level of rivalry. No, quite the opposite, there was this awkward cuteness, as it seemed that their embarrassing moment was overwritten by actual friendship. That was a relief. And then, Kelin-san would ask about her practicing, to which Ryuga responded in kind, as she watched the girl prance on over. [break][break] "I was, yes! It... sort of has to do with my Quirk, in a roundabout way? That question is a little complicated without context, admittedly." Ryuga sighed. Of course, she didn't have an amazing Quirk. Well, it was amazing, but it wasn't to the same degree as, say, Klein-san's ability to shoot wind and fly, which Ryuga got a first row seat in watching her mount the sandbag so spectacularly. A little awkward on the landing, but flailing helped her balance. And the giggle was adorable, Ryuga had to admit. The blonde gazed upon the girl, and would continue to assume that her initial deduction on her Quirk was spot on; sections to blow air out of. Only, if she stored the air, where did it go? Wait, that meant... [break][break] Of course! It was like a balloon! Elke was a balloon! That's why she was growing! Fascinating. [break][break] The next question Klein-san gave left Ryuga stunned for a moment. What she did for fun? Ryuga turned her head down. When was the last time she had time she had fun? There was the date with Seraphine-san, but saying so outwardly that she liked to go on dates was a little... dishonest, to say the least. She did, but it wasn't a hobby, like the question pertained. Now that she thought about it, she had asked Ueda-san all of those questions, yet she never found her own answers. She cooked, but that was more for people and less herself. The question was bewildering, because... she acted like a responsible older sister to her classmates. Boxing? That was to alleviate her Quirk's downtime and exercise. [break][break] "That's an even more complicated question. I don't know. I rarely have time for fun." she almost felt oddly out of place, but hearing about Elke's love of flying made Ryuga almost envious. She rose her brow, as she sighed. "That Quirk sounds magical. To be able to soar through the clouds... it makes my Dragonlung a little underwhelming. I must admit, I'm a little envious." she would laugh a little as a means to make herself feel better, but she would not feel better. [break][break] She would walk over to the sandbag after getting up and brushing herself off, walking to the sandbag, and looking up to the smaller, slightly-growing girl. Smiling, Ryuga continued. "Dragonlung works like an extra lung. A mutation that granted me a third lung; an air sac, so to speak. With it, I have the breath of a dragon for whatever element I ingest; fire, water, or air. But the problem is that I have limited shots before my lung becomes unusable, and my throat and mouth get the immediate drawback of the element in use. As a means to deter that, I train my body, to be just as strong with or without Dragonlung." Ryuga explained, almost like a tutor in a way, explaining the ups and downs of her Quirks. Though, not going into detail on how, for instance, she gave herself temporary pulmonary edema with firing water for prolonged periods of time, or how she constantly burns her throat with firing fire. [break][break] Both of which, were not poitns she needed to make. "And your's, Klein-san?"[break][break][break] Ryuga's Outfit[attr="class","addy"] addy

A roundabout way? Elke's head tilted to the side quizzically at the choice of words. From the way she described, it did seem to be more of a complicated question that she had really anticipated. With just a few looks at her new friend, it was easy to see that she was more on the fit side of the spectrum; perhaps it was just body training and not quirk training? Such a thought was hard for Elke; her quirk was the strongest part about her and the way she saw her own body was just a vessel to store it. She didn't need to be in peak physical condition to utilize her quirk as extensive training on her muscles would yield minimal results; instead, her focuses were on making sure she was as good with her quirk as possible. Perhaps this thought process and view of quirks was different for everyone.[break][break]
With the way Ryuga had responded to the question about 'fun' slightly disappointed Elke, her face puffing up as she spoke before going back to the vibrant smile. Rarely having time for fun was no fun! There needed to always be a way to have fun in at least everything you did; whether it be practising or not, why not challenge yourself and have fun at the same time? Then it happened; words came from her friend that showed her own view, comparing Elke's quirk to her own. It hadn't come to her mind that maybe flying as a hobby could appear condescending to others, or at least, making them envious. She knew that feeling was terrible, envy, it made her sick to her stomach. She had so many things to be envy about of others; like their height or their ability to recover. Once Ryuga was done explaining her quirk, and why she was training, Elke's cheeks puffed up. She'd show Ryuga why her quirk wasn't super great; she knew all of her weaknesses and the first one was very, very easy to show.[break][break]
Jumping to her feet and striking a heroic pose she enunciated her quirk and what the doctors back home told her about it in a short concise manner. "Air Compression! A mutation that allows me to store air in my body before expelling it with great force out of several locations!" Grinning widely she looked down at Ryuga, hoping to bring a smile to her face with her next goofy action. "Unfortunately it isn't as useful as you think. See, while you've got your body..." While still on top of the sandbag she would shift her stance to a fake boxing stance before jabbing forward twice in rhythm; it looked cool but was obvious she didn't know how to throw a punch, let along take a fighting stance. "I've got the permanent issue of... this!" As she shouted this, she through a right palm strike upward, straight over Ryuga's head to not hit her with proceeding blast of air. A loud shockwave of wind suddenly torrented out of her hand, which immediately launched the small girl off of the sandbag, and carried her several feet back. The most impressive thing about this was how she seemed to be able to control herself in the air as if she had already calculated where she was going to land and with how much force as she landed perfectly, and then rolled to allow the momentum to dissipate.[break][break]
A large gap of 13 feet had been made between Ryuga and Elke from just a single blast of air. Standing up to her full height of still exceptionally small, she would dust off her skirt before putting her hands well behind her back and trotting back over to the sandbag. "Because of my height and weight, I can't hold myself down. It's... physically impossible. There are... other drawbacks that hinder my flight like..." She began to trail off but stopped in a grimace holding her left shoulder. It was almost as if she could feel the pain from the frostburn when she had first experienced being tipped upside down and trying to re-orient herself with her quirk. "Frostbite hurts." It was an odd finish to the previous sentence, especially after quite the delay. Her arm would linger a bit longer before she'd return to her vibrant self once more.[break][break]
"So so! Ryuga! Perhaps you could teach me how to like... punch and kick and stuff!" Her eyes grew starry as she awaited Ryuga's response to her idea about punching and kicking. While she was skilled in aerial combat, it was mostly just so she could keep herself oriented mid-air even with punches and kicks; something she was completely terrible at when grounded.[break][break]

But it was the truth. Fun? That wasn't something a heroine-in-training needed. What they needed to get to the top was discipline, and an abundance of hard work. Fun wasn't a luxury Ryuga afforded herself often, no matter how much she wanted it. Perhaps that's why she felt slightly envious. It wasn't just her Quirk, it was just that fun nature people had. Himura-san knew how to have fun. [break][break] Was... it truly that wrong? Ryuga wasn't sure how to view herself. [break][break] When the discussion moved to Elke's Quirk, Ryuga watched the heroic pose with a smile. The showing was cute, but the information was fascinating. So, a Mutation-based Quirk that confirmed her balloon-y-ness! Utterly fascinating Even as Elke would box on the sandbag, rather poorly but still doing so, she gave the reasons why there was a problem; weightless flight. Due to the smaller weight it meant that less force was needed to move it, demonstrated by her blasting wind above Ryuga, forcing her body to fly with her. [break][break] Sure, not enough weight allowed Elke to fly, but that was its own problem, watching the girl tuck and roll. Ryuga immediately began to think up stratagem. How to best combat that mindset. Obviously, with so little weight, there had to be a way. Could she decide how much wind came out at once? Was that possible? Where else on her body could she fire wind out of? And were there any drawbacks? [break][break] The frost bite was the evident answer of that question. So the air must have been cold. Excessively so from her body. This did send Ryuga thinking. She could utilize control from her body at various area to shoot out wind, so could she utilize a lot of her body, and perhaps fire from her hands a big gust, and a supporting gust from one engine behind her? It would counterbalance the need for movement. [break][break] Hearing the excitement from Elke snapped Ryuga out of her thinking about the Quirk in a different way, and she couldn't help but give an honest giggle from Elke's over-excitement to learn to punch and kick. "Oh, you mean boxing? I would love to, Klein-san. Though I must say, your Quirk is fascinating to say the least." the blonde female was thinking on her feet, as she beamed to the smaller girl. [break][break] "Sand bag or no?" The blonde would ask, a rather big smile given to the smaller girl, as she pat the sandbag gently, but then added "Or. Do you want to see my Quirk in action first and save the training for later?" the blonde would speak, a grin on her face, almost challenging Elke. Maybe that showing and that long thought process intrigued the blonde. [break][break] Alternatively, she could teach boxing now if Elke truly wanted it, but that depended on her. Ryuga wasn't perfect at it, but she knew enough to teach another how. [break][break][break] Ryuga's Outfit[attr="class","addy"] addy

Elke's smile couldn't grow any further when her new friend complimented her quirk. She received those compliments a lot as a kid, but never really from a friend; this made it feel that much more sincere and truthful than before. It was then that she was asked a simple question; sandbag or not. Was the sandbag used for punching? It was more solid than she expected when she jumped onto it earlier, and she had seen movies of people punching bags hanging from the ceiling, but when she thought of herself punching it she nearly broke into laughter.[break][break]
All she could imagine was the most intense right hook one could imagine, followed by very, very little force made from the punch. Such a silly thought was later replaced with how much it might hurt punching the sandbag itself. Sure, she's thrown a punch at a wall before in anger and that never ended well; would the sandbag be any different? Taking her hands and pressing her index fingers against one another she started walking back to Ryuga and the sandbag itself. "N-no sandbag for now." Her voice was light, light enough that she had to have been close to Ryuga. It would probably be best for training to be a little bit later, the offer of seeing her friends quirk in action sounded great.[break][break]
"I'd like to see what your quirk can do." Elke smiled back up at Ryuga. "I bet it's just as impressive if not more than mine!" Beaming, she knew her classmate was more fit than her in many ways, and her quirk sounded really amazing to watch. From the way Ryuga described it, she had to consume an element to be able to breathe it out like a dragon, but the only thing she could give Ryuga was air; and breathing air wasn't too impressive, especially when the person that was about to be impressed was a literal airbag. Smiling, she waited to see what her friend would do to show off the quirk, and if they had to walk anywhere she would follow behind, still smiling happily. Perhaps the two of them could help each other perfect their quirk?[break][break]

[attr="class","aodmain"] The smile was absolutely mutual between them. Ryuga loved the idea of gaining new friends, and she was sure that Aisuru would too. Klein-san seemed every bit the kind of friend she would love to make. Ryuga would show her sincerity to her, and... well, after nearly breaking off into laughter at the idea of the sandbag, Ryuga could only theorize what idea went through the smaller girl's head. There was a closeness already towards her. [break][break] The bird flies in the same skies as the dragon, after all. [break][break] The desire to see her Quirk was something else, and Ryuga figured her challenging grin might make that one more likely. She was right, and as she moved to the tree the sandbag held onto, she reached down to two turned over bottles; one of hot sauce. The other of... water. Ryuga found herself hesitating, as she held her hand over the water, but quickly zipped to the hot sauce. Whatever it seemed to be, Elke might have seen her hand shaking for a moment. [break][break] As she scooped the hot sauce bottle, she turned her gaze to the white-haired classmate as she spoke. "Okay, Klein-san. As aforementioned, I ingest the element. Please stand back." she smiled, opening the cap of the hot sauce, and tilting it to her lips. Chug. Chug. Chug. Chug. She began to feel hot, as she often did when she needed to let it loose. Her body began to sweat, and as she looked at Elke, her throat began to burn. Then Ryuga could feel it. [break][break] Aiming upwards into the sky, away from the tree, Ryuga would open her mouth and give her signature scream. "AAAAAAAAH" The plumes of flame came out of her mouth like the breath of a dragon, not ranging too far, as the flames flew every which direction. Thankfully, only barely near the tree as she let all of the flames go. [break][break] And then, as she finished, she snatched her water bottle and downed some water to cool her throat off. "There." her throat sounded particularly in pain. "How was that, Klein-san?"[break][break][break] Ryuga's Outfit[attr="class","addy"] addy
