Vulgar, impulsive, and apathetic - three words best used to describe how Kanna generally acts. Often called a 'brat', she is a loudmouthed still-a-teenager type of girl who hates having to follow rules or social norms, often displaying this trait with a wide array of colorful language towards anyone she has even a hint of distaste for (which is generally everybody). Her thorny exterior isn't covering a blackened heart, however, and beneath the sass and biting words is a genuinely loyal and caring person who was hurt one too many times, and has a hard time warming up to people at all.

Perhaps, as the Heroes and politicians of the world like to chatter on about, some Villains are 'tragically born into their situations', and with 'x' thing done or 'y' policy, that can change. Efforts too little, too late for Kanna Kada - sole heir and daughter of Kotaro, head of the second largest Yakuza clan in modern Tokyo. Born out of ripped rubber with a woman Kotaro happened to fancy that night, it was a sheer miracle (or perhaps bad luck) that she was sought after and kept by her biological father. Her early years were normal, sans a stable mother and father, not that she can really remember them. The glint in Kotaro's eye was obvious - he was looking for blood kin who inherited his terribly powerful Quirk: Blackwhip.
As fate would have it, Kanna did indeed display the same Quirk when her time came. From that day come most of her memories - work, lectures, work, lectures, rinse and repeat. Gone was any false pretense of a normal family structure or healthy childhood, and in its' place was an attempt to grow a deathly loyal and vicious heir to the Yakuza. She was taught everything practical - weapon usage, Quirk training, acrobatics, thievery - anything that a young child could be taught and can be expected to retain.
All of this, however, did not result in what Kotaro had hoped for. In the place of a loyal pawn... was a teenaged girl with a chip on her shoulder and a mouth to rival a public restroom. She was interested in doing the exact opposite of her 'father's' interests, and Kotaro has simply settled for biding his time for his daughter to grow older and 'mature' - something Kanna has no intention of doing for someone like him.

THE ARMORY
Costume: Of course, wanting to live a (mostly) normal civilian life requires one to not be a wanted criminal. To that end, a costume choice must adequately mask an appearance and any notable characteristics. Kanna's choice reflects that - an attempt to diverge as far from her 'norm' as possible. Donning a near skin-tight black suit with suitable ports for her Quirk along with a futuristic 'motorcycle' type helmet, it is a far cry from her typical choice of baggy clothing an and an overly large jacket. The clothing provides some impact mitigation with woven fibers and padded sections, but nothing heavy enough to stop any hard hits or gunshots.
Butterfly Knife: A blade suited for both tricks and cuts in equal measure, it is also know as a 'balisong'. Kanna's in particular is crafted from standard steel, and is mostly used for playing around or low-threat self defense.
Handgun: A typical, slightly modified Glock model pistol. Useful for shooting non-durable folks. Chambers in 9mm, holds thirteen bullets per magazine, and Kanna typically carries around two spare magazines.
Butterfly Knife: A blade suited for both tricks and cuts in equal measure, it is also know as a 'balisong'. Kanna's in particular is crafted from standard steel, and is mostly used for playing around or low-threat self defense.

QUIRK & SKILLS
BLACKWHIP

SUMMARY: Blackwhip grants the user the ability to produce up to four black tendrils from their forearms/hands and command them at will (two max on a single arm). This freedom of control lets them act like pseudo-sentient tentacles, or like precise and taut ropes - allowing for offense, defense, and mobility in one package. The maximum range for this ability is approximately fifty feet (or 15 meters).
Despite the viscous yet firm oily texture the appendages have, they are generally quite hard to break or destroy, comparable to coiled steel. While generally Kanna is limited by her own strength, Blackwhip does grant a boost - allowing her to lift up to 1,000 pounds (250 each) when utilizing the tendrils (and not her main arms/muscles). The speed of Blackwhip is nothing notable - simply matching the speed of an average whip for each individual tendril.
Due to the power behind each strike and the odd material that makes up the 'whip', this Quirk is more than capable of breaking skin and causing bleeding if struck upon unprotected skin.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS: While Kanna suffers no immense strain from using her Quirk, that doesn't mean it is without weakness. When cut/broken, a tendril will immediately shrink to nothing and will require three posts to regrow.
Additionally, while physically damaging them can be a bit difficult, they have a distinct weakness to high temperatures or fire - near 'melting' when the heat is intense enough, requiring only 750 degrees Fahrenheit to start wavering (barely the temperature of a smoldering cigarette).
The second-to-last notable 'weakness' is the fact that Kanna relies entirely on her arms for her Quirk, and 'removing' or restraining them will hamper her.
Finally, overuse of this Quirk can cause harsh numbness and stiffness in her arms, starting at five posts of continuous use with only a slight buzz, increasing to full immobility at nine posts. This counter persists, and every post she doesn't use her Quirk will subtract one post off.

SUMMARY: While she doesn't necessarily heavily rely on her own balisong, Kanna is still heavily experienced in using it to defend herself from constant training.

SUMMARY: General accuracy and precision when using a firearm isn't exactly Kanna's forte, though she is able to hold her own against close to mid range targets with mildly good shots.
HAND-TO-HAND

SUMMARY: When you don't have any bullets and can't use a knife, the next best weapon (besides your Quirk) would be your fists. Rigorous unwilling training his drilled Kanna into a serviceable melee fighter, whose style focuses more on survival and fighting dirty than the opponent's wellbeing.

SUMMARY: A mix of classical acrobatics and deft usage of weight placement, Kanna has practiced this art from a young age to a fine T. Her grace and limberness with both movement and utilizing the whip-like nature of her Quirk to its' upmost potential can be attributed to this.
