No matter how large the city, no matter how densely packed, there are always places that for one reason or another are devoid of people. The strange back alley that everyone avoids, that one completely abandoned apartment complex, the construction yard that time forgot, with all of the equipment slowly rusting away from disuse. Even a bustling metropolis like Tokyo wasn't an exception when it came to this odd phenomena. There were many such places that dotted the city, but in this case it was a small warehouse, tucked into the heart of a maze of back alleys that almost didn't seem to have a real purpose in the city's layout. The warehouse resided at the end of an empty lot, about 50 feet on each side, surrounded by taller buildings and connected to the maze of corridors by only a single exit. It was a quiet place, one that saw almost no traffic, except by those who specifically sought out such locations.
Sora clicked her tongue in annoyance. How many times did this make now? Even if she could remember, she didn't have the patience to count. The signs had all been there and she knew it was coming the moment they showed up for the meeting. The condescending looks, the abnormally large pick-up crew, the order full of particularly pricey equipment, the focus on checking over absolutely everything before they would even discuss payment, and god; the way they talked to her... Did they really think that she was just some soft piece of eye candy that was only there to close the deal? Just more proof that her reputation hadn't yet spread anywhere near as far as her name had. Well, it was starting to get pretty old.
She was standing in the center of the warehouse, an auxiliary storage facility of hers that was about the third of a size of a football field. Shelves that were covered in all manner of components, equipment, and half-finished projects rose up all along the sides of the structure, though the middle corridor was largely kept clear. In front of her was a number of tables lined up to form a single large surface, a vast assortment of equipment and weapons covering it, from sub machine guns, pistols, and rifles, to bullet-proof vests, deployable barriers, and riot shields. Interestingly enough, apart from the handful of guns most of it was defensive or non-lethal in nature.
"Ya care t' repeat that, mate?"
She glared at the man that stood across the table from her. He was in a fine black suit and had his hair slicked back, his form largely silhouetted by the headlights of a vehicle that they had somehow managed to navigate through the narrow passages. Either some low-level Yakuza puke that needed to act big, or someone that was trying to emulate the image. Sora herself was wearing one of her tactical vests and a pair of military pants, her usually messy hair tied back in a long braid that went to almost to the base of her back. Her loadout was pretty light compared to normal, just a 9mm pistol at her hip and her combat knife on her vest. Clients tended to get pretty nervous when she wore her full gear, which had a tendency to make things go poorly more often, but this time she kinda regretted it.
"I said, I think your equipment is well made, but your prices are a bit of an issue." The man repeated himself, a thin, self-satisfied smile creeping across his face. "If ya don't like it, you can always take yer business elsewhere." She fired back with a roll of her eyes. The man shook his head slowly, his expression unchanging. "Oh, but you see we've already spent so much of our valuable time making a trip out here. Time really is such a precious commodity, are you telling me that you've wasted ours?"
"Probably not as much as yer wastin' mine. Look, I already got the best prices on th' street. Either ya pay what I ask, or ya turn around an' leave. Those are th' choices, mate." The man cocked his head to the side slightly, as if amused by the statement. "You see, that's where we disagree, I do believe there are a few other choices we have here..." And here it comes... Sora folded her arms as her eyes scanned across the warehouse. There were two men flanking the leader, both were undoubtedly armed, four were in back already starting to load equipment into their truck, and maybe six more were milling about near the warehouse entrance. Might be more hanging out nearby, it was always hard to tell with crews like this. "It's quite dangerous you know, trying to run this entire operation yourself. Now if you let us have this shipment, maybe we could come to an agreement about providing some security..." He raised his arms in a shrug, and right on cue, the men flanking him pulled pistols from their coats. "I mean, what's really to stop a group from just taking everything in here, and leaving such a pretty young thing in a ditch?"
Sora blinked a few times as if surprised by the development, but then answered as if it was the most natural thing in the world.
"Why... That'd be me, of course."
She kicked up the table in front of her, sending the munitions on it flying as it rose and blocked her from view for a moment. The men on the other side staggered back at the sudden explosive movement and almost immediately started to open fire. The table took the first few bullets, giving Sora just enough time to snatch a riot shield out of the air and bring it to bear. She felt several rounds impact the shield as pulled the gun from her hip and squeezed off a few shots of her own. A round caught one of the two gunmen in the shoulder, and the rest subsequently went into cover as he fell to the ground and shouted in pain. Not enough to take him completely out of the game, but dissuading them enough to give Sora a chance to retreat into the maze of shelves behind her.

[attr="class","aiuedamain"] It had been a quiet day at the Okami, so quiet that it had started getting boring to Ai just holding down the house. She had already called her friend to come handle the bar while she was gone as she had other plans that night, and of course, she knew they would come to try and tell her that she didn't need to do this and yadda yadda. A small object sat on the counter; two pieces of wood with a single paper rectangle in the centre attached by a metal rod. A few flicks here and there out of boredom caused it to spin rapidly before gravity eventually sat it perfectly normal. "How long is it going to take... I'm boooored." Said the middle-aged owner behind the counter. As if on cue, the door creaked open and her friend stepped in.[break][break]
"Ai... you have to stop doing this." Right on queue, it was as if that was how the woman introduced herself. Kiyoko was a slightly taller woman with raven black hair and a sweet face; perfect for a backup bartender. She was a family friend from Tokyo before, and after, the times when Bad Blood was captured. Ai was lucky to have her as a friend.[break][break]
"You know why I can't." Ai perked up upon hearing her friends voice with a happy smile. This was their exchange every single day when meeting and she knew that her friend wouldn't try to stop her; after all, she knew just as well as Ai did why she turned to vigilantism. "Besides, it's a great waste of time when things get too boring. Like, right about this time!"[break][break]
"Fine fine..." A click and her card was swiftly punched it behind the counter. "I'll watch the house while you galavant out in the night." She'd sigh, stepping around the counter and taking a seat next to Ai, her eyes closed. "Come back safe. If you get shot and I have to close early to be your medic again..."[break][break]
"Relaaaax I'll be fine! It was just once." Ai's first few attempts at stopping crime, just like most, didn't go so well. She had gotten the hang of this 'stopping crime' by night bit. Granted, she knew she had to leave every time before the cops came calling, but at least her callsign was obvious. Dreamer. She dreamed of a brighter future for her family, her kids, herself. It just happened to fit with the illusions that her quirk created. She stepped away from the desk and started heading upstairs; this was her home in the bar, no patrons were allowed up here without an invitation and everyone knew that.[break][break]
"We'll see, Ai. Rest well!" A swift wink came from Kiyoko as Ai vanished upstairs. "Whatever will I do with her..."[break][break]
Ai didn't know how eventful the night would be, but she always knew to bring as much gear as possible. Donning her cherry blossom kimono and filling it's hidden pockets, she finished preparing to head out. Grabbing her mask, she closed all lights and leapt from her window. This was her normal path out of the building when acting as Dreamer; it was away from the view of the street and it was the fastest way to travel. The day was mostly uneventful, except for what seemed to be many large trucks moving to areas that were mostly empty; she knew as she had already stopped a few criminal based activities here in the past which drew far too much attention.[break][break]
Three trucks in total. Ai made sure to keep herself as hidden as possible, using her sash to help scale one of the small warehouses she hid up high where few would see her; the only way to keep a pink and red kimono hidden in the darkness was to make sure none of it was revealed. As she did so, she adjusted her mask and tightened it onto her face; if things got violent, the last thing she wanted was for it to fall off. The trucks seemed to be parked near several crates; it would have looked like your normal pickup and delivery if each of the men wasn't armed with firearms. Muttering to herself, Ai bit at her lip. "Of course they'd have guns. Sorry Kiyoko, I'll try not to get shot today."[break][break]
"What's that?" The sound of a masculine voice came from the edge of the building nearby. 'Crap' Ai thought, 'I hadn't checked to see if nobody else was nearby. Unluckily for her, one of the men who had jumped off the truck wandered off when she lost sight of him to 'relieve' himself of pressure. Her muttering had just caught the man with his pants down, taking a leak off in the corner where nobody should have been able to hear him. "Someone the-" the voice stopped as gunshots rang from over near one of the other warehouses; it was where all the rest of the men had gathered up. It seemed some of the men standing outside the warehouse had opened fire on someone inside. A deal gone bad, maybe? Whatever, all of them had to be stopped. Sighing, she dashed over to where the voice had come from. [break][break]
The man had been buckling up his pants rapidly after hearing the gunshots, preparing to run to help his own little gang when suddenly a woman had come falling down on top of him. A loud thud was all that was heard followed by a 'what the' and then a grunt, and then silence. Of course, there were a lot of them so nobody knew how many of these people were even nearby to hear her but the gunshots hopefully would keep everything drowned out. Activating her quirk, she created two identical images of herself; illusions pure and simple. They had no physical form to them, but if someone came near her it lessened the chance that they would be able to shoot the correct person. Stealth was how she often times dealt with crime, and this was no different. While they were all chaotically fighting amongst each other, she would focus on taking down as many as she could.[break][break]
Rushing from around the corner, herself and her two illusions ran side by side. From a distance, she'd be alone, running under cover of darkness but her goal was to take care of the getaway vehicles. Reaching the two trucks, she'd begin preparing to take care of any inside, her presence only being revealed by a sudden sweet smell. She only hoped that the fight inside the warehouse would keep going for long enough to be a perfect distraction. To those under the effects of Okami Mirage, they would see two women in kimonos wearing a white and red wolf mask running past the trucks, heading towards the warehouse itself as if to hide along the edge. "Right then, what've we got here?" Sora grinned as she slid into cover behind one of the shelving units. Her eyes shifted across the display of equipment in front of her with a look of amusement, almost as if she'd completely blocked out the fact that bullets were still flying everywhere. As annoying as it was for business to go south, there was always a sense of enjoyment in the actual execution that couldn't really be explained. She slung the shield onto her back, casually tossed her sidearm aside, and got to work. "Lets see... Two a' these, one a' them, one a' those, two more a' that..." Like a kid in her own personal candy store she darted through the aisles, plucking whatever caught her fancy off of the shelves and stowing it away. Two stun grenades, one smoke, one frag, a machine pistol, a cutlass, a pair of tanto, and her favorite shotgun. That would probably be more than enough for the- wait a minute. As she moved the aisles something caught Sora's eye and she doubled back, a massive smirk on her face. "Oh ho ho, I forgot 'bout you. 'Ello beautiful..." She ran her hand across the rough metal surface but didn't take it with her, simply letting her quirk do it's job before moving on.
By now the gunfire had stopped and Sora could hear a whole lot of shouting from the other side of the warehouse. The guy in charge was yelling at his men to finish loading the shipment while he sent a handful of them in after the arms dealer. They really just weren't satisfied with stealing her shit, were they? Bad move on their part; this was her territory. She started back towards the front, making her way steadily through the maze until she heard one of them approaching. Ducking back, she focused on the sounds of the footsteps and waited out of sight until there were right.... there. The first man's eyes widened in surprise as an arm shot out from around the corner and buried a knife in his shoulder. Before he even had a chance to shout from the sudden pain, the gun in his hand was ripped away and two bullets went into his leg.
Feeling the satisfaction of a clean take down, Sora wasted no time in moving on to the next. The man behind her first prey opened fire, but his rounds only found his friend's back. That was a shame, he probably could have survived otherwise. Oh well. Pushing the corpse aside, she sprayed down the corridor with her machine pistol and the second man went down. From the sound of clattering just around the next bend she could tell that there was a third as well, but evidently he wasn't stupid enough to walk right into the line of fire. Good for him, probably figured that waiting to get the first shot off gave him a better chance. He wasn't entirely wrong, but it was a powerful assumption to think that she was going to just waltz around the corner. No, she had a better idea.
Grabbing onto one of the shelves above her head, Sora sprang up, deftly scaling the metal structure within a matter of moments. Upon flipping up onto the top, she was rewarded with a decent view of the rest of the warehouse for a brief moment before dropping down on the other side. Looked like the thugs out there were certainly scrambling about... Why were most of them pointing their guns outside though? Thoughts for later. Below her, her target was looking up to see what the noise above him had been, but his gun wasn't rising as fast as his head. There was a gleam as one of the tanto came out of its sheath, and as Sora's weight came crashing down on the man the blade dug into the arm that held the gun. His hand clenched and the gun fired a few rounds that found their way to the ceiling before she bashed his head into the concrete. When she was sure he wouldn't be getting back up, she continued down the path, back towards the central area. That was three down, at least one more wounded... how many were outside again? She honestly didn't know the real number, not that it mattered at all. They came into her turf, threatened her, and were trying to steal from her. She didn't give a damn about the numbers.

We got company! [attr="class","aiuedamain"] Just as soon as Ai had snuck up on the get away vehicles, the gunfire stopped and more shouting came; it was directed towards the trucks themselves and was a specific order to start grabbing the packages. 'Oh no you dont.' Ai thought to herself, her pheromones now pushing further out to 15 meters. As soon as it spread to the men in the cart, they began hallucinating. The images that Ai had created of her sneaking around the warehouse to get a closer view became very apparant, and the men in the car began freaking out.[break][break]
"When did she get there!?"[break][break]
"Boss! We got company!"[break][break]
Gunshots began ringing out one more, followed by more from the warehouse. Chaos ensued amongst the gangsters as their plan began to fall apart; they didn't know about any 'reinforcements' but to them the woman in the kimono was a threat to their operation and they didn't know why. As the bullets pelted the wall, the illusion turned and faced where the bullets were coming from before vanishing in a puff of smoke. That ought to cause some chaos, Ai thought as she slid between two of the trucks parked side by side.[break][break]
The trucks were covered, and from the sound of the gunshots, they came from inside the truck. That made things difficult as she had to come around a blind corner to handle them easily, but then an idea formulated in her mind. 'Ah yes, grenades.' With swift precision, she scattered several steel marbles outside of both trucks before formulating an illusion around a single marble. This should produce enough of an audible sound when hitting the truck to flush out the vehicle. With a flick of her wrist, the 'grenade' came flying from the corner of the truck before bouncing off the wall, then onto the floor. Panic ensued from the visible grenade.[break][break]
"GRENADE!"[break][break]
"RUN RUN GET OUT OF THE TRUCK!"[break][break]
Three men came barreling out of the truck; perfect, just where she wanted them. The moment they landed on the ground outside of the vehicle, they stepped on the marbles. Marbles were exceptionally slippery, especially at night where it was nearly impossible to see them or know they were there. Just as expected, every man that poured out of the truck immediately tripped and fell; one of them fell backwards and hit their head rather hard on the vehicle's bumper. One down, two to go. As if the mist reformed near the wall, the wolf-tailed woman re-appeared where she was shot last time, before bolting further from where Ai was actually located.[break][break]
"Stop that woman!" More shots rang out, but the illusion was placed perfectly in the way; the men in the truck were practically firing at their own allies.[break][break]
On queue, Ai rushed out from behind the truck, cartwheeling over the edge of the marbles and landing first on one of the fallen men, striking the back of his head perfectly with her steel fan; another KO strike. He won't be happy in the morning. Shortly after, she pirouetted off of the unconscious man's back, over to the other fallen man who had just managed to stand up. He was only met his vision being covered in pink as a kimono covered arm wrapped around his head, the force of the leap pulling him just enough off of the ground before slamming him down back first right into the marbles. Another KO, but this one might wake up soon; Ai had to make herself scarce and fast before they caught on. Jumping up to her feet, she made a mad dash to the back end of the warehouse. Perhaps there was something inside she could borrow.[break][break]
With three men out of commission, and two more in the truck firing at their own men lots of chaos had been spread. If things continued like this, Ai had the fight in her hands.[break][break]
"HEY IDIOTS! SHOOT AT HER NOT US!" The boss across the way who was now in the crossfire shouted at his team. Unlucky that he didn't know about Ai yet. [attr="class","addy"] addy

Alright, that takes care of her immediate pursuers, Sora thought as the shelf in front of her shook, its heavy frame impacted with a man's face before he slowly slumped to the floor. Now to deal with the rest of these idiots before they got away with the goods... They hadn't paid yet, after all. Slipping back over to the entrance to the maze of corridors, she was surprised to see muzzle flashes from the outside, while everyone in the interior was ducking for cover and bullets pinged off the insides of the warehouse. What the hell were they shooting at? It wasn't her, or at least she hoped it wasn't. As little respect as she had for this bunch, they couldn't be that bad, could they? Well, whatever. Something was distracting them, which meant now was as good a time as any to make an entrance... How to go about it though? They did have a lot of guns... She glanced around at her surroundings for a few moments before a grin crept across her face.
----------------
Back out on the floor, the leader was busy shouting orders to his men from behind cover, trying to get control of a situation that he didn't quite grasp. That bitch of an arms dealer had run further into the warehouse, but now his men were shouting about a contact behind, all the while he kept hearing the sounds of struggle from within. The job was supposed to be as easy as could be, just one woman, and even if she didn't play ball, they had more than enough manpower to deal with it.... how could they possibly be having this much trouble wrapping things up? Even as he yelled to his men to cease fire, they continued to insist that there was a target in front of them, which was absurd. There was nothing in their line of fire but allies and the girl was back over... He glanced toward the back of the warehouse just in time to see a red shape vanish and a blue flash.
The crack of a shotgun blast echoed throughout the structure, and an instant later a large crate came sailing from the back half of the room and slammed right into one of the gang members' back. As he fell from the sudden impact, the crate rebounded and a knife shot out from the same direction, digging into the side of the crate and riding it back into the air. At the top of the crate's arc, the knife twisted and expanded outward into a humanoid shape, an emerald gaze surrounded by a mane of red staring down at the group's leader with a wicked smile.
Sora Shifted her weight and kicked off, sending the crate crashing down into the man as she back flipped and touched her feet to the ceiling. Some quick mental work swapped out the blueprints for her quirk, and her form shifted. The top layer of her skin expanded, taking on the properties of the riot shield and effectively covering her body in armor, while barrel shaped protrusions extended from her hands, feet, back, and elbows. When the last piece shifted into place, her gaze locked onto the closest person she could find and there was another shotgun blast from her feet accompanied by a large blue shockwave. She tackled the surprised thug to the ground and threw a punch into his gut, another blast smashing his form into the concrete while flipping her back up onto her feet.
She reached the next one less than a second later and gave him a hard elbow to the face before her other hand slipped the machine pistol from his side and sprayed a few rounds into his legs. As he cried out in pain, the rest of the men inside finally snapped out of their stupor and reacted, leveling their firearms and opening up. Sora could feel the impact of several shots against her, but it just made her grin widen. The pistols most of them carried weren't high enough caliber and with the modern shielding material, she might as well have been totally bullet proof. The redhead drew the cutlass from her side and another blast from her feet propelled her toward her next prey. A slash across the arm forced him to drop his gun and Sora bashed his solar-plexus with the hilt before tossing the blade into the air. Pulling a stun grenade from her belt, she yanked the pin out with her teeth and deposited in the man's hands as he struggled to remain standing.
Another blue flare sent the arms dealer into the air and she kicked at the blade as she rose up to land on the ceiling again. The cutlass shot down and speared through one of the thugs' legs, and Sora leapt down at the man beside him. This one had taken a rifle from the shipment, which would have been an actually danger if he had just been able to load it a little faster. Sora slipped her gun away and snatched the man's weapon by the barrel, giving it a tug to extend his arms before she swung her fist. The shotgun barrel on her hand fired another concussion blast and the man's limb bent backward. Surprisingly enough he didn't cry out in agony and instead bit down, releasing his hold on the rifle and throwing a punch at her with his other hand. Sora just stepped to the side and reached toward his partner, grabbing hold of the cutlass and slashing the man across the chest as she ripped it out. Both went down.
Sora swiped the blade to the side to flick off the blood, and as she did she felt a notably heavy impact against her back. She staggered forward slightly and swung around to see another of the men had actually managed get one of the rifles up. A second round hit her shoulder and she flinched visibly as it left a small crack in her armored coating. On instinct she blasted herself to the side and reached for her gun again, unleashing a spray as she rolled into cover behind an overturned table. Most of the burst was on point and the man hunched over but... he was still standing. As she replaced the spent clip with another from her pack, she could see the man smile slightly and he stood back up to full height, a metallic sheen spreading over his body.
"Oh ho, where were they hidin' you then?" Sora chuckled and finished reloading before stepping back out from behind her cover. She met the man's grin with an amused look of her own, and as the stun grenade went off a few meters back, both of them opened fire again.

[attr="class","aiuedamain"] With the sounds of all the gunfire in the background, Ai had to hurry. She needed more tools, or at least to fight in a place not out in the open. Finally reaching the back of the warehouse, she jumped over the railing and landed in front of the door, catching herself on all fours to make as little sound as possible, before quickly grabbing the handle. One quick turn and the door was open; she was lucky it wasn't locked, perhaps the owner of this warehouse was here, or worse, amongst the firefight. Now inside the warehouse herself, she noticed several hundred pieces of different weaponry all around her. What did she just walk into, a bloody arsenal? Little did she know that was true, she would run into an Arsenal that night. Quickly looking around for any weaponry, she heard more gunshots, this time louder followed by screams of pain and possibly a quick death; higher calibre rounds, no, those were slugs; this was getting more and more worrying by the moment.[break][break]
Cracking open a few containers, she lifted the lids of multiple containers in quick succession. Semi-automatic rifle, fully automatic rifle; nope. A series of handguns, no definitely not, still too lethal. Moving as quickly as she can, she came across what looked more like a small flaregun. Interesting, she thought to herself as she ran a quick inspection. It looked like it fit darts, but what kind? With a few quick looks, she found a small container with what appeared to be fat looking projectiles with needles on the end. These could be poisonous, but the label on the top said 'tranquillizer' so one could only imagine what these really were. So long as none of the thugs outside had hardening quirks, these should be pretty effective. Still, as she did this the sounds of combat became louder outside before it suddenly came to a stop.[break][break]
Loading a single dart into the handgun before grabbing a handful and stuffing them into the hidden pocket where the marbles used to be, she rushed to the front. More projectiles were fired, this time Ai saw the combat happen. Several bodies were on the ground, and a woman with bright red hair flicked a blade to the side, scattering a small spray of blood across the ground. 'Murde-' Ai was mid-thought as a single round slammed into the woman's back, causing her to stagger before another round shot her. 'Non-lethal rounds? No, that wasn't right.' Closer inspection revealed that where the bullets impacted the woman's body, there appeared to be cracked plastic; she made herself completely bulletproof! Just as she realized this, a bright flash came from the woman's joints as her body shifted rapidly, before she herself fired a round in response to her assailant. Just who was she helping? Was she helping the bad guys fight bad guys? She needed a better angle to get a bigger picture of the scene.[break][break]
Dashing quietly around the corner of another set of boxes one would only see a pink blur in the shop before she took cover behind another box of what could only be assumed ammunition or more guns. Peeking over the box itself, it looked like the crimson woman landed a perfect shot on the guy shooting at her, but he stood up tall. A slight glint over his skin made Ai realize what happened. 'Crap, a steel quirk.' Clutching the pistol tightly, she practised trigger discipline with her finger hovering just on the trigger. 'This thing is useless now unless more of them show up.' A short, silent sigh would come from her. 'Guess I'm getting shot again huh?'[break][break]
Her quirk began to kick in once more, creating illusory images of herself across the other side of the door. Off in the distance, she would see the other truck itself; a perfect spot for another decoy. By now, the original illusion of her had been erased; there was no need with the crossfire at a complete halt outside from the orders, but instead, now she created an illusion of herself laying perfectly across the top of the truck. In the hands of the illusion was one of the guns she saw earlier; the exceptionally lethal ones. Fully automatic, the perfect disguise. If she needed a distraction, she knew how to make the gun sound when it 'fired,' and also had a back-up illusion to draw more fire; she bit off way more than she could chew this time. Even as the ringing of the stun grenade died down, the inside of the warehouse was once again filled with a flurry of gunfire. Though there were only two distinct sources now, that suited Sora just fine. She had no idea how many of these bastards were still hanging around outside, but it seemed like they were content to let her and her new friend brawl in peace. So, they were either being notably considerate, intent on following their leader's orders to the letter, or just too dumbstruck to be of any use. The reason didn't matter to her too much, as long as they didn't plan on going anywhere before it was their turn to play.
Darting to the side, Sora fired off another burst and then used a concussion shell to rapidly change directions, leaving her opponent's own shots to go wide and bounce off the concrete floor. Again, her rounds were on point and impacted the man center mass, but they just seemed to harmlessly ping off. At first glance, it seemed like her attacks were utterly ineffective, but you could never tell with these sorts of abilities. Cracking them was usually just a matter of going through enough experimentation. She hit him with another spray and then kicked over one of her tables, ducking down just in time to hear the assault rifle's bullets dig into the metal frame. She smiled, the durable bastards were always fun, weren't they?
There was a loud crack accompanied by a blue flare as Sora launched herself straight up again and landed on the ceiling, letting loose a stream of lead as she rose. More pings. The guy wasn't even trying to dodge anymore, just slowly advancing as he fed a new clip into the rifle and brought it to bear. So that obviously wasn't working. With a click of her tongue, she launched herself back onto the floor and tossed the now-spent weapon aside. Something a bit more personal maybe? She took her cutlass in one hand and a tanto in the other, blasting off again as the man started another sustained burst. Dodging bullets wasn't a thing that most people could pull off, there were exceptions when superpowers were involved of course, but for most people it was more of a matter of dodging the barrel of the gun. And so Sora rapidly shot from side to side as she approached, throwing in an occasional trip back to the ceiling just to mix things up. This guy wasn't exactly a bad shot though, so she still caught a few hits on the way in and earned a few more fractures in her protective coating by the time she was face to face with the metal man.
Ducking beneath the front of her foe's assault rifle, Sora's blade flashed out wide and came down toward his more exposed shoulder. She could see him try to raise an arm to block, but it seemed his transformation put him a bit on the sluggish side, too bad that. There was a loud clang as the blade slammed into his upper arm, and although there was a notable flinch in his stance, there was no cut left behind. Well, what about the back? She pulled back and swung at the rifle to bat it away, then quickly slipped around behind the man while he was still recovering. Her tanto lashed out and drew sparks as it carved through his shirt and into his back but... again, nothing but a flinch from the impact. So, she was getting results from the force rather than the edge... made sense, armor didn't usually do shit against blunt trauma after all. The thug threw an elbow as he spun around and Sora ducked beneath it, dropping her cutlass in lue of her tried and true method of choice. An uppercut stopped just short of the guy's jaw and a blue flash shot out from her wrist. His head immediately jerked back and he just barely stopped himself from stumbling over. Of course that would work.
Her grin widening, Sora stepped in closer and another blast hit the man's shoulder, loosening his grip on the rifle before a third blow to the elbow freed the weapon from his grasp and sent it clattering across the floor. And now the fight was as good as over, wasn't it? She planted her foot on his shin and a shell swept it out from under him, bringing him down to one knee as she pulled back for the finishing blow.
'C'mon Sora, we can handle this lot, eh?'
She stopped dead in her tracks. A faintly sweet smell hung in the air for the briefest of moments. Perfume, she realized immediately. A familiar, yet forgotten fragrance from what felt like a lifetime ago... It was like a shock to the system, a stimulus of memories so powerful that it caused a momentary lapse in the redhead's mind. Her vision blurred and a silhouette seemed to form in front of her; a slender figure with short, messy hair, and a posture that seemed to overflow with self-confidence. "....Izzy?"
Slam.
Sora reeled back as a metal fist smashed into her cheek with a strong hook. She caught herself just before she would have went face first into the floor, falling to one knee instead. The metal quirk user was standing in front of her, reversing the position they were in just a moment ago. The scent was gone, taking with it the memory that had risen to the surface, and leaving behind an anger that Sora didn't quite know the cause of. All she knew was that there was an outlet in front of her.
Pushing herself back up onto her feet, Sora glared at the man with an intensity that actually gave pause to his advance, but only for a moment before he started up another swing. As he threw his fist forward, she simply raised a hand and blasted it away. He staggered back a few steps but Sora wasn't in any sort of defensive stance to he immediately tried again. This time she struck first, hitting the oncoming arm, then following up with another shot to his torso, and a third at his leg. Again, he went down to a crouch, and immediately went for an uppercut that was interrupted by another shockwave. It seemed to Sora that although the blows were knocking the man back, they still weren't really causing much damage... which meant that she'd just have to hit him with something harder, wouldn't she?
Bracing one arm with the other, the entirety of her limb below the elbow shifted, taking on a roughly cylindrical shape with multiple barrels that immediately started to spin. The man's eyes went wide as he heard the whirring noise and instinctively stopped whatever attack he was planning to instead bring his arms up to cover his face. So at least he wasn't dumb. It was a rather distinctive sound, and to those that knew it, there was no mistaking it for anything else. It was almost like a buzzing noise, but louder than anything most people have ever heard, and in an instant the whole warehouse was filled with the deafening roar. The streaking of tracers drew a solid line between Sora and the man as hundreds of bullets rained down on him, lighting up his metallic skin with countless sparks as they hammered into his body and rebounded. Apparently he was made of some pretty sturdy stuff, since the high-caliber rounds weren't punching right through him, but in less than a second his defenses started to give way. The shear force of the rounds pushed him back, his arms curling up tightly to keep from being flung aside as he first was forced into a kneel, and then flat on his back.
Sora sustained the solid stream of metal for about 4 seconds before the roar cut off and the spinning barrels started to slow to a stop. No longer being forced down under the weight of the assault, her opponent's arms collapsed out to the sides and he started gasping for air as the silver coating faded away. As she strode toward him, Sora could see that his clothes were in tatters, and almost all of the exposed skin was raw and already bruising. She wouldn't have been surprised if there were a bunch of broken bones too, but either way he was almost definitely out of the fray... But as irritated as she was now, Sora wasn't content with just being reasonably sure. Showing no remorse what so ever, she planted her foot on the man's stomach and let loose one last shotgun blast, cracking the floor beneath him as the shockwave pulsed out.

Don't get cocky either, I'm not alone! [attr="class","aiuedamain"] Ai watched from afar as the woman appeared to take the metallic man to town. First, a few shots were fired between the two before the red-head rushed into close combat; that was quite the good choice as the man was excessively slow. How many more combatants were there? There couldn't have been many; the sound of a car engine turning on revved through the air. Slinking off to the side while the read head continued to fight, Ai peered through one of the windows in the store. A man had gotten into one of the vehicles they entered with, the singular one that she wasn't able to 'disable.'[break][break]
"Great..." Ai muttered under her breath. "They got away." Her voice was almost a growl as she slinked back to the fight, this time getting closer, much closer. When she did, the woman paused in the middle of her brawl and turned slightly; just enough that she could see her speak a single two syllable word under her breath in shock just as a metal fist embedded itself in her cheek, sending her flying. She was so close to the woman, but still out of sight; at this point it would have been a miracle if she hadn't been noticed by either the metallic man, or someone else by now. Rapid acceleration was heard from the car outside, just as a loud crack came from the metallic man; this woman was really skilled at combat. 'Note to self, do not fight this woman in hand to hand combat.'[break][break]
Just as the woman had landed her arm began to shift. 'Was that... no...' Ai recognized the barrels that were coming out of the woman, and one look at the metal man proved that he too, understood what was about to happen. Scrambling up, Ai bolted further into the shop once more to her original position; behind the crazed red-head with a minigun. Once the cacophany of metal pounding on metal stopped after a good four seconds, Ai peered back up from behind the crate once more, just in time to see the woman plant her foot on the man's chest. She knew what was about to occur, and she was just in time to shout as the blast ended the mans life. "NO! STOP!"[break][break]
The woman had jumped onto the box, holding one hand out as if she was able to prevent the man's death, but slowly lowered her hand clenched before quickly pulling out not one, but two pistols; both the dart gun she loaded from earlier, pointing them at the red-headed woman. "Don't move! Don't get cocky either, I'm not alone!" The woman brandishing two guns would nod up to the illusion off in the distance, who would raise the hand not 'practicing' trigger discipline off in the distance, before moving it back down, ready to fire. This figure in the distance was just a duplicate illusion of Ai, but wielding a fully automatic high caliber assault rifle; not a gun for the faint of heart. She'd never heard it fire, so Ai hoped that the woman wouldn't test her but instead complied with her; she just wanted to know what was happening here. Luckily for her, the truck that drove away was not the one with her illusion on top of it, instead, it was some random civilian's truck parked just outside another warehouse across the street.[break][break]
"I am Dreamer. We just want to know what is going on here?" It was only a matter of time before authorities investigated this region, so she had to act fast. From what she could tell, there was one dead body but who knows how many corpses this woman made tonight?[break][break] [attr="class","addy"] addy

Sora looked down at the man beneath her boot with a scowl. She had felt a few ribs give way, but he was still breathing for the moment. As long as he got some medical attention he would probably be fine, and the authorities' arrival at the scene was all but inevitable now that she'd made a bit of noise. 'A bit', right. They'd probably heard the roar of the gun all the way down at the station and were already scrambling. Either way, the guy wasn't going to be getting up on his own, which meant she could finish dealing with her guests and clean up.
The inside of the warehouse was now devoid of any gang members that weren't collapsed on the floor. Before she could worry about the ones outside however, there seemed to be a minor annoyance to deal with. Disregarding the command to not move, Sora turned around to face the newcomer with an irritated expression. "Ya kiddin' me, right?" Her emerald eyes locked onto the stranger; it was a woman with animalistic features in a pink kimono, her face covered by a hood and a mask stylized to look like a wolf. Obviously not part of the 'friendly' group she was conducting business with, just didn't look the part. From the shout of disapproval a moment ago, that painted her as a self-righteous type too, and since heroes didn't have a reason to hide there features, that really only left one option. An interloper.
Sora's eyes scanned down to the weapons that the woman carried, she could recognize her own handwork in an instant. Mk 22 Mod 0 pistols, two of them, heavily modified from the base design to load tranquilizer rounds. Those things couldn't even pierce conventional armor, let alone the defenses she had right now... Not that the chemical cocktail would be particularly effective on her 'unique' physiology anyway. Next she followed the wolf's gaze over to where her apparent back up was perched atop the gang's truck. Same clothing, same general appearance... just matching costumes, or some kind of cloning quirk? It was impossible to tell for now. This one was aiming at her with something that had a bit more bite to it though. A SCAR-H battle rifle, one of the two from the shipment it seemed.
Raising an eyebrow, the redhead turned back to the pistol wielder as her face shifted to one that was decidedly unamused with the development. "Lass, have ye seen even a bit a' what's been goin' on here? What makes ya think yer lil' peashooters scare me at all?" She casually raised her right arm and pointed it sideways out toward the truck, the barrels starting to spin up again as she kept her gaze locked onto the person on front of her. "I'm not th' type ya threaten idly, miss, just ask the arseholes that were tryin' t' steal from me." She gestured to the thugs scattered across the floor with her free hand. The motion was only partially a bluff; That rifle would hurt if it hit her, but the arms dealer bet she could take it out faster than it could take her out.

There's no need for further violence. [attr="class","aiuedamain"] Normally threatening someone who had just handled so many 'goons' by themselves would have been intimidating; jokes on Ai, she was intimidated. Why had she jumped out like that? Sensei would have doubled down on chores that evening if he caught her making this large of a mistake. As the woman turned around her expression could only be seen as displeased; it reminded her of her trainer from a few years ago and her reaction was more than visible. She seemed to flinch as the woman spoke, both guns training off of the woman slightly before reacquiring their target. Watching as the woman slowly moved; she wanted to make sure that no further combat was going to happen. All Ai wanted was to find out what was going on here and get out of dodge before the cops arrived or worse, heroes.[break][break]
It had seemed that the red-head didn't feel threatened by her choice of firearm on the illusion, at least, judging by her expression when turning back. Strange, she saw the gun and thought it was one of those impressive rifles with lots of stopping power but then again her knowledge on fire-arms was pretty much null. Even the two guns in her hands she knew only how to fire them; point at the target, pull the trigger, and a dart comes out. How it managed to do so was far beyond her. Questions came from the red-head, ones that reinforced the lack of fear of the weapons themselves. Right, she was covered in that weird glass-like material; perhaps it was bulletproof? The barrel began to spin, and spin, and then the woman gestured to the goons strewn about.[break][break]
There were far more than she initially counted. Alright, that settles it, this is not the kind of place to get shot. Flipping up her firearms and pointing them at the ceiling, she sighed audibly. "Alright, alright. There's no need for further violence. As I said, I'm just want to know what's going on here." She spoke calmly as if trying to keep a predator from leaping at her. As if to show she meant well, she slowly lowered the guns and put them on a nearby table before stepping away, then placing a hand to the side of her face; completely imitating what one would do if they were activating an earpiece.[break][break]
"Lower your weapons. We don't want a fight." Off in the distance, the illusion of Dreamer would repeat this motion, before sitting up from her kneeling position with the SCAR-H off to her side, before jumping back behind the truck she was laying on, SCAR in tow. Ai didn't want to deal with the stress of having to keep those illusions up constantly, and once her 'ally' was out of sight, she turned off all of her illusions. As she did so one of the dart pistols just ceased to exist. One moment it was there, the other moment it was gone.[break][break]
"So... now's your turn. What happened here?" She transitioned her hands from the side of her head to a more upright position; a stance one would take only when threatened. [attr="class","addy"] addy

"Ha, looks like this one's actually got some sense in 'em." Sora snorted as her guest quickly changed her tone, practically wilting under the pressure of her gaze. That was probably the most respect she'd commanded all night, which already made this interloper leagues better than the rest of the idiots around. It also helped to blunt her newly sour mood ever so slightly, and that was a good thing for everyone involved. That being said, her disposition still wasn't exactly cheery, and so she kept the minigun trained on the one over by the truck until well after they had both lowered their weapons. "I hope yer plannin' on puttin' all those back where ya found them. I think I've already shown ya how I deal with thieves." She grumbled as the woman by the truck vanished from sight.
She still held her aim on the truck for several seconds before finally lowering her arm with an irritated click of her tongue. She could feel the joints in her arm almost grinding together as she moved and quickly shifted it back to normal. A moment later, the armor and shotguns followed suit, dissolving into dust as Sora continued to stare down the one that called herself Dreamer. She was nearly at her limit for a continuous projection and was rather glad that she didn't have to deal with that particular side effect, not that anyone else needed to know that. As the ballistic coating faded however, bruises and cuts immediately started to form around the areas where the armor had fractured. Nothing particularly serious, but anyone paying enough attention would notice that she had actually taken some damage during the rampage.
After rolling her shoulder a few times to try to work out the stiff feeling, Sora folded her arms and cocked her head slightly to the side. The fact that someone was demanding answers after sneaking into her property was still pretty annoying, her body language was making that well apparent, but the quick yield meant that she was slightly more patient with this one. "Well ya see it's quite simple, miss Dreamer. I'm tryin' t' conduct a perfectly legitimate exchange of goods an' services, an' every now an' then a couple of right tossers that don't know better decide t' try an' make the exchange a bit less legitimate." She gave a half-hearted shrug and rolled her eyes, as if she simply couldn't understand how they could come to such a decision. "What ya see before you, is merely th' aftermath of such an altercation. If I recall, these lot are a sub branch of th' local Yakuza. Really ought t' know better, honestly. The tone that she delivered the response in had a notable amount of snark to it, but she wasn't being openly aggressive anymore. "Is that answer t' yer satisfaction, miss Dreamer?"

Could you tell me yours? [attr="class","aiuedamain"] Ai held her breath as the crimson haired woman spoke up about her 'thievery' of the weapons. Shuffling uncomfortably, she stepped further from the pistol she had placed down, her hands still up, parallel to her head before the woman's weaponry seemed to shift out of her body. This prompted a quick sigh of relief from the woman known as Dreamer, as she lowered her hands and held her chest with the wave of relief. It didn't take very long for her to recover, however, as she transitioned right back into being alert when the ballistic woman explained her side of the story.[break][break]
It was hard to understand perfectly with her accent, but it seemed that she was selling guns, and a nearby Yakuza group tried to muscle in and take them, the results lay strewn about outside. "Y-yeah, that answer is p-pretty good." She would fake a light cough before continuing. "Those guns of ours weren't stolen, well, except for that one." Her hand pointed at the one gun she placed down that she was now far from. "And this ammunition for it..." She pulled out about five darts from seemingly out of nowhere. "I heard gunshots, and thought you needed help but wasn't armed enough to handle the main group." She'd step back to the gun, removing the dart loaded in the gun before picking the pistol up, and heading back to where she found it.[break][break]
"I took care of a few of them, but it seems you had it under control." As she was heading to deposit the handgun she passed one of the unconscious men, who started groaning in pain as if he had just started waking up. A swift light kick right behind the neck was all it took to put the man asleep again, being performed in-step as she walked. "I suppose I should say sorry for barging in like that but I had my reasons." If the woman let Ai reach the box with the pistol in it, she would simply click it open one more, and place the weaponry back inside just as she found it.[break][break]
"So, while we are here, you know my name. Could you tell me yours?" she seemed much, much calmer without a massive death-dealing weapon aimed directly at her. Anyone that fought the Yakuza in the region was practically deemed a friend. [attr="class","addy"] addy

Sora raised an eyebrow as Dreamer insisted that only one of the weapons was taken from her stocks. Funny, they sure looked like they were her work, but the clear nervousness that the woman displayed seemed to suggest that she wasn't lying... She better hope she wasn't at least, because the redhead was more than capable of tracking someone down when she need to. Supposedly she had only done it to offer the arms dealer some assistance, which painted her as some kind of 'concerned citizen', who was startled when she came across a maniac with a very large gun. It wasn't the most far fetched tale in the world. "Fine, I'll be takin' yer word on that for now." She watched carefully as the intruder walked the firearm and ammunition back across the floor to one of the shelves. Along the way Dreamer delivered a blow to one of the thugs that was starting to stir again, but other than that it didn't look like she was trying to pull anything. She started to give a nod of approval but didn't quite complete the gesture... something about the scene seemed off for some reason... but it wasn't the woman.
Before Sora could piece it together, Dreamer started speaking again and pulled her attention away. It was interesting, how politely she was behaving after she'd been threatened. The apology drew another amused snort and she gave a shrug at the request for a name. "I s'pose that's fair. Most people call me..." She trailed off for a moment as if searching for the right name. Several came to mind at the moment, which was an odd enough sensation, and it took a second to pick out the right one. "...Arsenal. Yeah, that's the one. Honestly, though, I don't really care what ya call me." She'd accrued a number of nicknames lately, and adding another one to the pile wouldn't make much of a difference.
Sora considered asking her guest if meddling was her usual line of work, but before that a sound from out front made her eyes instantly sharpen again. Ignition, specifically that of a truck's engine. Her head snapped to the side just in time to see the door slam on the truck sitting in front of the warehouse. Ah, that's what was bothering her about the field of collapsed idiots, one of them was missing. Through the window of the vehicle she could see the face of the group's leader, far less smug than it had been just a few minutes before as he frantically worked the gears. She wasn't sure how, but the bastard had snuck out while she was preoccupied by her newest acquaintance. Maybe some kind of quirk? However he'd done it, the truck still had a little over half of the shipment loaded into it.
"Oi!" She shouted as she strode over to one of the downed goons and gave a stomp to knock his pistol up into the air. By the time she snatched the firearm and leveled it at the truck, the vehicle was already starting to pull away. She squeezed off a few rounds, but the man hunkered down and none of them found purchase before the truck began to turn away and she lost her target. "Oi, what the bloody hell is yer partner doing? Sleepin' on th' job?" She barked at Dreamer as she started off after the fleeing vehicle, referring to the woman she'd seen duck down behind the thing a minute before. Self-important asshole or not, the guy had a hell of a lot of hardware in tow, and she wasn't about to let him get away with that many of her guns.

That was my quirk. Watch. [attr="class","aiuedamain"] Arsenal huh? That was quite a fitting codename for someone that could turn themselves into several different guns. Having deposited her borrowed weaponry where she found it, the wolf-woman slowly walked back to the front, stepping on and over the same man she had kicked on her way there in the first place. Just as soon as she had reached the front once more, she heard an engine revving in the distance.
"Shit!" Her voice cracked out as she rushed further out the front of the building before our of the corner of her eye she saw a pistol flying from the ground, up, and into Arsenal's hands. Instinctively ducking and covering her ears, the familiar sound of gunshots rang out before she glanced once more at the truck as it turned the corner. As soon as it turned, the red-haired woman began shouting at Dreamer, something about a partner. Right! Her 'partner!'
Standing up fully, she turned her head directly to Arsenal. "I don't actually have a partner. That was my quirk. Watch." She held her hand up and snapped her fingers; this was all just for the flair of activating her quirk. As soon as she snapped she willed her pheromones to spread while imagining three copies of herself standing around her. In mere seconds three duplicates of 'Dreamer' stepped out from behind her, standing in a line. Each seemed to move in the same way that Dreamer did, looking around as if they themselves were in the area. Each of these acts were simply things that Dreamer was imagining them doing; such an act was easy for her to do with just her subconscious.
"Now we're fully even. Both know each other's names, both know what we can both do." Sounds of sirens starting picking up in the night sky as her ears flicked. "Ah great, the police are on the way." She'd sigh before walking through one of her illusions, stepping back to the guy she kicked and stepped on. He was smaller than the others, but still rather large. Picking up the man by his shoulders, and lifting him up just enough that she could drag him with ease she spoke aloud. "Alright, here's the plan. I'll take this guy away, interrogate him and find out where these guys base out of... you deal with the cops." Starting to drag the man across the ground, and out the back door, Dreamer's voice came back out from behind her mask. This time, she sounded extremely stern. "I was never here. Right?" The clones of her dissipated into smoke as her quirk deactivated. "Right." [attr="class","addy"] addy

The squeal of tires rang out through the alleyways as Sora sprinted after the truck, more out of anger and frustration than logic. She could have potentially caught up with the aid of some extra thrust, but the stiffness in her arms and legs told her that it was still too soon to shift back. And since running after a vehicle on foot was a rather pointless endeavor, she soon came to a stop near the edge of the lot, spewing all manner of curses under her breath.
After taking a moment to actually process the situation, she turned back toward the warehouse where Dreamer was in the middle of explaining her quirk. In all honesty she didn't pay much attention after she saw the clones split off, the few inconsistencies in her head finally clicking together. At least now the apparent stolen weapons made more sense. "A bloody illusionist then, well fat lot a' good that does us now." She grumbled as she walked past, brushing off the rest of what the woman had to say for the time being. If this Dreamer thought she knew what the redhead was capable of after just that short demonstration, then she'd soon find she had a lot to learn. Not now though, there were far more pressing matters at hand. "I 'ought to have some bikes in workin' order up front, should still be able t' catch th' rotten bastard if we-" She cut herself off as the sound of approaching police sirens rose up over the surrounding buildings and practically growled in frustration. "Oh well that's just bloody fantastic!"
While Dreamer went to work securing one of the thugs and outlining her plan, Sora used the moment to take a deep breath and calm down, suppressing every destructive impulse that rose up with considerable difficulty. Could she wipe out the police and go after the jackass who stole her stuff? Probably. Would it end up making the situation worse? Likely. Would it come back to bite her in the arse later? Almost definitely. As irritating as the whole thing was, it wasn't the end of the world, just a setback, and it didn't really effect her ultimate goals that much.... whatever those were, she couldn't be bothered to go through that whole mental exercise right now. No, the best play here was to cool down and try not to make things worse.
"Alright, fine. Take th' dumb oaf an' figure out where we need t' hit. When ya find out, ask around in th' south side an' ya should be able t' track me down. If ya don't, I'll track you down, so don't go thinkin' ya can get outta this." As the wolf started dragging her captive across the warehouse, Sora headed for the front of the structure, firing back one last word with a grin as the clones vanished. "'Course you were never here, 'neither was I. An' who's gonna say anything t' the contrary?"
When Sora reached the front, she dug a knife into a piece of the wall and pried out a brick before reaching into the cavity for a small button; a little insurance that she'd tucked away just in case. When she pressed it, a large panel opened up in the floor and several of the shelves sank down, hiding the more 'sensitive' projects in the shop as the panel closed back up. The cops would get the more mundane stock this time, but there was no need for them to know just how heavy some of her hardware was. She'd be back for that later down the line. Next she replaced the brick and moved out to the floor for a bit of redecorating. The weapons she used were wiped down for prints and distributed amongst the fallen, with a few extra shots thrown in to muddle up the scene and reduce the number of reliable witnesses. All this took time of course, and she was cutting it a bit close, only finishing up once the sirens were practically on top of her. She ducked out through the side and into one of the neighboring houses, which had been long abandoned, quickly slipping away into the maze of alleys beyond.
