Fear. An emotion so powerful, that it is said that the only thing capable of standing up to it would be love. An emotion that embodies the deepest darkness within any individual. As the saying goes, "The brighter the light, the deeper the darkness". Morpheus Jeramoth, was a doctor who specialized in research on the inner-workings of the "human heart", or rather, the "soul". He worked tirelessly, day in and day out to discover what it was that truly made a person tick. The popular opinion of modern-day science states that it's "all in the mind", or, "it's natural animal instinct". Bah! What rubbish! Well, perhaps some of it was. Research on a human mind did prove most valuable in his own findings, however. In his efforts to further understand the "human soul", he found that fear was a most powerful tool to use to his advantage, even if it meant gaining a sliver of information to further his own studies. As such, to dive deeper and deeper into the vast abyss known as "fear", he himself, became quite accustomed to it, to the point where his research was no longer about the soul as a whole, but fear itself.
The obsession in his research had become so morbidly obscene, that he had resorted to the kidnapping and experimenting on live human subjects to gain further results, attempts to create chemicals, devices, and even psychological warfare on not only how to induce fear into a human being, but how to manipulate it. Control it. Amplify it. Wield it in a way that it could completely enslave the masses to one's own bidding. Of course, upon hearing this, the Hero Association could not allow this to stand. So they sent their best heroes in to do away with the doctor. And naturally, as one might expect, they had succeeded. However, the end result was much... messier than anyone could have anticipated. It turned out that Dr. Jeramoth had enlisted the aid of another scientist who specialized in engineering and a touch of quantum physics in hopes of building gateways to jump from one point to another. "Playing with portals", if you will. They were successful in starting the machine up, only for it to be shut down upon its activation. What does this have to do with our not-so-stable scientist? Simple. He was stopped. But every chemical and device he had concocted went with him... straight into the portal. Now, we never said the portal was exactly "stable", oh no.
When the heroes stopped him, one had unfortunately pushed the good doctor into the gateway, which had then immediately shut itself off seconds after. With no entrance, nor no proper exit, Morpheus was forced to spend an unknown amount of time trapped between time and space, the very chemicals he'd created changing him forever. Obviously, he survived, or he would not be the figure standing before you now. Tall, lanky, always dressed to impress, and with one of the longest black jackets any person had ever seen. But his skin was forever white, paler than the very bones that act as the framework within your flesh. The scelera of his eyes now pitch black, and the irises glowing with a very faint yellow tint to their hues. The right top half of his eye, and the lower left cracked in two places, almost as if he were a porcelain doll having succumbed to damage. And then there are those hands... those hands with large holes almost the size of his palms. Anyone can actually look through them and see out the other end. The question is... should you?

QUIRK & SKILLS

TYPE:
RANK/LEVEL: (write proposed rank here)
SUMMARY:
It is those very palms that act as the catalyst for his newfound power upon escaping that void of nothingness. The very thing that fuels the quiet, yet furious insanity that dwells deep within his mind... perhaps down to his very "soul". The power to create fear. Now, this is not to say that he can summon constructs, or make one scared just by looking at him(although, that does tend to happen quite often). He must be within a certain range in order to effect an individual, and yes. It can only be one individual at a time. With a wave of his hand, or even direct contact with them, he is capable of planting a seed if you will. When he is not within at least ten feet of someone, this seed will remain dormant at all times until he comes in contact again. However, should he be within range, that "seed" can be set off, a lot like a remote detonation device. This "seed" then grants him access to a person's deepest, darkest fears, allowing him to ploy off of them. It can be as simple as a fear of heights, to something like arachnophobia, or even playing off of someone's memories. The bottom rung of the ladder requires him to actually know of someone to a certain degree of course, but it is still a powerful tool to use, nonetheless. It is especially useful if he is attempting to manipulate someone into doing things for him. You'd be amazed how easy it is to "persuade" someone when you can scare the living daylights out of them.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
As powerful as this is, however, it is riddled with several flaws. First and foremost, he is required to be in range of his desired target before he can use this ability. Secondly, the "seed" must first be planted, and allowed to "take root" for a minimum of 24 hours time(1 thread). Third, once the "seed" has been planted, he must be within ten feet of range to activate the second stage of his power at all times. Fourth, if he is out of range even by the most minor of numbers, the secondary stage ceases altogether. But even that, can be used to his advantage. Fifth, he can only plant the "seed" on one target at a time. Finally, any individual who possesses an Indomitable Will(highly resistant), Psychic Shield/Immunity, or Courage Inducement are very strong opponents against this power. He will have a difficult time using his abilities against such individuals.

SUMMARY:
A good paragraph explaining the details of this skill, remember that it will coordinate with their skill level.
- Skills are what a NORMAL human can learn with enough time and practice/talent.
- Anything supernatural or breaking force of nature is a QUIRK so bear that in mind!
- Skills and quirks cannot overlap (E.g Strength boost skill + strength quirk)- So pick one please!
- In general, someone with a non combatant quirk will be allowed more higher level, more skills and vice-versa.
