Although she had tried dying it before, the color always came out after uses of her quirk, and now she just leaves it a natural black. She has calm lavender eyes, and a few scattered freckles. She has a pair of spiked piercings in each ear. Most often, she is wearing a simple sickness mask with a cheesy grin painted on it. In her Intangibeast form, she looks like a vaguely detailed dark purple ghost with tear streaks down either side of her face and small clawed hands.
PERSONALITY
LIKES InventingCool Heroes Cooking Sweaters | DISLIKES DarknessU.A. Showing Weakness Spiders |
RUMOR/SECRET: | It's rumored she was expelled from U.A. for murdering a teacher. |
Although a rough life has toughened her past the timidity of childhood, Yukimura still has serious anxiety, making her an incredibly cautious. She's always coming up with plans, back-up plans, and counter-plans and preparing for any eventuality. When dealing with other villains, she's harsh, cold, and sarcastic. She tends to be calculative, but despite her intelligence she's rather immature and can't stand not having the last word. On the rare occasion she is with someone who isn't a villain, she tends to become more vulnerable and warm, with a cheerful optimistic attitude, though all it takes is one mis-step for her to retreat back into her shell. For the few people she does connect with, regardless of whether they're good or bad, she becomes fiercely loyal and empathetic. She still holds heroes in high regard, and although she knows that her dreams of being one are long over, she has a short set of moral rules she's set for herself in the hopes of slowing her descent into the world of villains.

Yukimura was the daughter of a small-time villain who had made a series of bad decisions. She wanted a better life for her daughter, so when Yukimura was three, her mother made the decision to put her into foster care. As a small child, it seemed very likely she would grow up to become a search-and-rescue hero or work in the support items industry. She loved to help people and was fascinated by heroes. She eventually settled into a foster home with two mothers. She grew so close to them, and decided to take on their surname. One of her new mother’s was Yukimura Akari, a former high-ranking hero known as “The Unkillable Hero, Steelskin,” who had retired after a working incident left her wheelchair-bound. Her other new mother was Yukimura Hanako, a talented engineer who had married Akari several years prior to the accident. They both warmly encouraged her love of heroism.
Her foster mothers also had another younger child they had adopted, a little girl named Kiku who Yukimura grew incredibly close with. A few months after Yukimura moved in, Kiku’s quirk manifested; while at first her power to turn things inside out with a touch seemed harmless enough, it was quickly realized how easily it could be weaponized, and Kiku was given locked gloves to keep her quirk controlled. Yukimura helped her cope with this difficult time, and their shared anxiety brought them even closer.
However, when Yukimura was eleven, the apartment complex her family was living in burned down in a suspected act of arson. Heroes were late to the scene, and her beloved foster parents died. Yukimura saved Kiku at least, nit in the attempt she became horribly scarred. She was separated from Kiku and put back into the foster system, but this time didn't allow herself to grow attached to any foster families, and focused instead on her studies. Although she still liked and admired most heroes, she decided that those who did it for money or fame were undeserving of the title, blaming that for the loss of her foster mothers.
At age fifteen, she was accepted into U.A. through the recommendation of her foster uncle and Kiku’s guardian, a well-established but retired hero named Motorhead who had lost use of his quirk after an injury in a villain fight. Yukimura did rather well, landing a spot in 1A and scoring third place in the sports festival, but only a few weeks into her second year, she was expelled for reckless endangerment of herself and her fellow students. Little is known about what happened that day, but it seems as though this was when Yukimura became distrustful of her quirk.
After being expelled, she did not return to her latest foster family. Yukimura instead decided to strike out on her own, and effectively ran away. In order to make ends meet, she started illegally selling her inventions and support items. The uncle who had recommended her tried to turn her in to the police in the hopes she would give up villainy, but she escaped and went into hiding.
For the first year of her life of crime, she worked with an incredibly talented and well-known criminal inventor called “Nightmongerer,” who taught her most of what she knows about engineering. When he discovered her sister’s quirk, she shot him to stop him from using Kiku to his own ends. Over the years, she slowly established herself in the business, and stopped working with brokers and instead working with villains directly. Although she still holds her lofty ideals, keeps many secrets from her co-workers, and has a deep appreciation for "true" heroes, she's also more than willing to sell equipment to their sworn enemies to make a buck. She still anonymously wires funds into her foster uncle’s bank account so he can take care of himself and Kiku, and prioritizes others over her own needs. Her strongest moral restrictions come to not harming children, and specifically protecting Kiku from a life of villainy.

{Spoiler}
During her time in U.A, she was actually bullied an unfortunate amount for her timidity, especially by a rather nasty student with a fire quirk. Her one friend was a kindly boy named Tanaka Haru, a sweet kindly boy with a healing quirk. The two of them were fast friends. One day, during a training exercise at the USJ, Yukimura and Tanaka were cornered by the bully. Panicked, Yukimura’s quirk activated. In the blind fear-driven rage of her quirk, she seriously wounded the bully, but also hurt Tanaka so badly he was hospitalized for the long-term. The bully and their friends insisted Yukimura had attacked intentionally, leading to her expulsion. She still feels guilt for harming Tanaka and ruining his dream of becoming a hero. Although she has not seen him since, she keeps up to date on his life, ensuring he’s well cared for and sending him anonymous birthday gifts.

THE ARMORY
- Villain Suit: A black skin tight suit with simple purple accents. Includes a convenient tool belt, several pockets, elbow pads, work gloves, and steel-toed boots.
- Toolbox: Every good inventor has a box of tools. This is where she keeps her equipment to build support gear and costumes. She also has a notebook to track orders, as well as a hidden compartment in the bottom to hide her money.
- Handgun: As her quirk is borderline impossible to use offensively at this rank, Yukimura keeps a small handgun with her. She's not particularly good with it, and prefers escape above all else, but it's useful for discouraging would-be attackers. Painted black and purple with her insignia on the handle
- Sniper-Rifle: A long range weapon, more intimidating and more dangerous. Although Yukimura is somewhat more skilled at this than her handgun, she seldom uses it. Black chrome with "Fearwringer" carved into the barrel.
- Vials: Yukimura keeps several small glass vials with live spiders inside. Generally she keeps them hidden away, but if she needs to force herself to transform for a quick escape, she'll drop one of the spider on her skin for an easy way to force fear.
- Phone: A cheap basic phone used for business deals and calling up contacts.
- EMP Emitter: A small homemade electro-magnetic pulse emitter fashioned from a disposable camera. Too weak to disrupt large signals, but can disable small (think pocket-sized) electricity-powered devices within five feet.

QUIRK & SKILLS
INTANGIBEAST
TYPE: Emitter
RANK/LEVEL: B-
SUMMARY:
Yukimura's quirk is triggered by feelings of fear. When she experiences strong anxiety, she changes into her Intangibeast form. Although not completely intangible, like the name would suggest, when in this form she becomes much more difficult to hit with attacks due to being a smaller more agile target. She can, however, move through walls if focusing intensely. If brought into a fight, her Intangibeast form is terrifyingly strong and vicious, and can be a formidable threat. If forced into combat at her current quirk rank, she has enough physical strength to punch through six-inch cement, and the bite strength of an adult shark. Her personality seems to shift drastically between the two forms, as her repressed feelings and thoughts come out when she transforms, though she retains the same level of consciousness and memories in both forms. Her clothing and equipment transform with her. (Ranked for level of control, not raw power.)
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
While in this form, her repressed emotions—especially her fear—are unleashed. At this point, she loses all logical control becomes unstoppably frightened and will attempt to flee no matter what to escape the perceived threat. She will not be able to transform back until she reaches a resting heart rate. This usually takes about two to three posts after the threat of danger has passed. She will only fight in this form if cornered. She will also be so blinded by panic during her attack mode that she becomes incapable of differentiating between enemies, allies, and bystanders, attacking anyone within reach. Additionally, light weakens her Intangibeast form. It scales upwards in effect. Dim electric lights will only slightly dampen her strength, but on the other end of the spectrum, in direct sunlight she is easy to hit and cannot pass through solid objects, as well as having her physical strength halved. These weaknesses do not affect her normal form, and she has yet to figure out how to use her quirk's abilities without completely transforming.

INVENTOR
RANK/LEVEL: B+
SUMMARY:
Yukimura is a talented inventor with a great expanse of different skills, and is constantly studying how to improve her creations. At this rank, she is capable of successfully making simple equipment, weapons, and costumes. She can also build slightly more difficult inventions that have more capabilities (like a glider suit, or a large scale turret), but after three posts these will break down. If one of these more complicated inventions is damaged and not repaired in the immediate following post, it will combust dangerously. At this skill rank, her ability scope is limited to equipment and weapon type tech. (Other kinds of tech, like decoys or reconnoissance, are both considered difficult inventions and take twice as long to make) It takes her twenty minutes to an hour to create simple equipment, and three to five hours to make more advanced objects. Suits take 12 hours or more depending on complexity. Repair time varies based on how badly the object is damaged. She can make no objects and do no repairs without her toolset and raw materials, and cannot make inventions mid-thread. She can make mid-thread repairs if a machine is not completely destroyed, but depending on damage they take 1-4 posts.
GUNSLINGER
RANK/LEVEL: C+
SUMMARY:
The more attention a villain gets, the more important it is that they can defend themself in a fight. With that thought in mind, Yukimura learned how to shoot a hand gun and a rifle. The hand gun is easy to fire, and when in very close range (i.e. touching distance,) a shot is guaranteed. The further she is from a target, the worse her aim is. Even at ordinary ranges (up to twenty meters from the target) there is still a good chance several shots will miss. The rifle can only be used after one post is spent setting up a location and aim, and can't be used in casual combat. She cannot use it in middle or close range, and if being even slightly distracted is guaranteed to miss the shot. On each kind of gun, she has an average margin of error of about six inches.
BREAKING AND ENTERING
RANK/LEVEL: B
SUMMARY:
Between her quirk and careful training, stealth comes naturally to Yukimura. She's capable of moving about quietly and finding quick hiding places just out of sight. If someone is not actively looking for people, she is guaranteed to pass unseen. If someone is actively looking for intruders and does not have a skill or quirk that would aid them, she can stay completely hidden for five posts that she is in the same area as that person. If the person has a skill or quirk that would help them, however, she can be found quicker, with the necessary posts varying depending on the searcher's skill rating. If she or the searcher move to a different area, the limit stops, as she's no longer somewhere they are looking.
