Being a Mutant-type, Mimiya obviously has physical differences to a standard human, but for the most part shares the biology of her common man; She has all the organs and parts anyone else could have. First things first, her skin is far paler than most people's, the texture being far slimier and soft, in comparison to mushroom's flesh. Second, she has small, light blue 'freckles' on her joints, and face, and when she glows in the dark these parts are most prominent and even change color depending on her mood. Thirdly, she always seems to have small mushrooms growing from her hair or head, and when pulled, they inflict pain on her, as if pulling terribly hard at a nail. She also has yellow spots on her blue locks, which seem to be where her spores and scents puff from.
Sometimes, if she lost a limb, or even her own head, the regrown part would appear lighter than the rest of her body until it ages a few weeks.

PERSONALITY
LIKES ComputersRPGs The Dark Hot Showers | DISLIKES Mean PeopleHurting People Judgement Her own faults and limits |
RUMOR/SECRET: | Often times, word on the breeze is just of her causing incidents in which people get overly angry or sad, and cause a fight. |
Laid Back - On the surface, Mimi is surreal levels of chilled out, down to her very posture and voice being what one would describe as 'mellowed putty'. She's typically extremely hard to anger or rouse from her state of relaxation, being a 'Live and let live' kind of gal, waving off any sorts of judgement people may think she has of them, and telling them to just don't sweat stuff.
Lazy - A key trait in the Mimi is that.. She is lazy. She appears to be totally lazy, not uncooperative, but just.. Not really doing anything. There doesn't seem to be much drive or purpose to her in day to day life, instead just choosing to loaf around, but.. Mysteriously, things seem to just get done around her, and done pretty well. Does she move when nobody looks, or does she just not want anyone to witness her succeeding? Unknown for now, she just appears to be a sloth with great grades to any onlookers.
Thoughtful and Considerate - Despite being more on the lazy and loafy side, Mimi does remember very important, and very personal things. If she were to overhear it was someone's birthday in her class, and had a good idea of what they liked, in all likeliness they would find a gift in their desk on that day from her, but not exactly labeled with her name. She does do acts of kindness, but always is subtle and doesn't ever make it clear it's her doing it. For people she interacts with and who actually respect her even a bit, she's largely reluctant and soft spoken, but she maintains being nice to them, but not going overboard with it.
Clumsy - Two wrong feet, this girl has. Mimi has a terrible habit of being a clutz, knocking into shelves, not being mindful of things above her head, etc. It mostly causes harm to herself, but she usually doesn't sweat it, being pretty used to getting hurt in such a manner. This trait is a big reason why Mimi doesn't like things like dancing; too risky.
Sarcastic - Both jokingly and spitefully, Mimi can be kind of sarcastic towards people she has either gotten to know better, or despises. It's always light sarcasm, never goes into a straight flay of mocking (She's against full on bullying), just a light tease and noseboop here or there.
Poorly Socialized - Mimi's social skills are... Atrocious so to speak. She never makes eye contact, gets nervous in crowds, sits in odd positions, etc. She looks very much like some weird lazy penguin that barely knows how people work yet is trying to work in it anyway. People tend to get put off by how she says things or what she says, and even she doesn't understand some social rules, or even flat out gets annoyed with them. People are complicated, and she isn't sure if she can totally understand it.
Mischievous - This ties into her unseen behaviors, but Mimi can be a bit of a prankster, but is always sure it's harmless. She would never do anything that could be categorized as all out bullying, but often times does things as payback for being crappy towards her or people she cares about. This also ties into her sarcastic nature, really at heart she's a bit of a goofball. A sad one, though.
Depressed and Lonely - This mushroom girl.. Has had a pretty hard life, be it her broken home situation, to the bullies, to being unable to properly manage her quirk, to the loneliness. Mimi has a hard time feeling genuine happiness for too long, sinking back into a low mood soon after laughter. Certain triggers for her makes her even sadder and lower, but for the most part it's nothing extreme. She has some low self esteem issues, and can even go into being sarcastic about her own abilities when upset as a coping mechanism, making her failings out to be one huge joke.
Advanced Intelligence - Despite being on the lower effort side of the spectrum of people, Mimi is actually quite terribly smart. By no means is she wise, but she has plenty of practical smarts. She can analyze situations and figure out the quickest and most effective way to get them done, of course with some margin of error. It makes her behind prying eyes research all the easier, and her splendid memory skills assist her in working out and doing well academically, however she does not work as well in a classroom environment.
Spiteful of Negative Influences - Probably a big reason as to why she wants to become a hero, Mimi despises bullies and other negative influences due to her difficult life. She only sees them as things that encourages violence and ineffective ways to solve issues or communicate feelings. To her, being a shitty parent or a scumbag criminal is just an awful waste of potential and does nothing but hurt people.

BACKGROUND HISTORY
PLACE OF BIRTH/HOMETOWN: | Osaka |
PARENTS: | Namine Hagakure and Benjamin Sprouse |
SIBLINGS: | N/A |
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: | N/A |
OTHER: | Fluffy (Mushroom Golem) |
Mimi, like many others in this world, was born into a complicated situation; Both of her parents were quirkless, and were entirely expecting a quirkless child as well. Her parents faced quite a lot of mockery from family and peers alike for not having a quirk, Namine having moved to England to have a baby and settle down with who would soon to be Mimi's father. However, a great big issue arose when Mimi.. Had yellow spotted hair, two differently colored eyes, pale skin, and smelled like a bad case of the sulfur burps as she was born. Both parents were in shock that they somehow, some way, had a child with a quirk, a mutation nonetheless! Namine was shaken, while Ben... Ben couldn't tolerate the idea. By time Mimi was two, their relationship ended, and Namine was forced to move back to Japan, back to her family.
The easiest way to describe Mimi's quirk interactions were... Problematic. The girl was easy to upset, and in many cases, triggered for either a horribly bad smell to come from her, or for her to puff spores at the people upsetting her. This caused a lot of chaos in her family setting, initiating arguments and anger towards her by mistake. Sometimes it hit into actual abuse territory by mistake, since the spores could elevate emotions, and Mimi had no control of them. She became known as a troublemaker in school and in her own home, often being told to go to her room aside from meals, as the stress was driving her mother insane, and grandma and pa couldn't handle her crying fits. Because of this Mimi was very much alone in her earlier years, and such a vulnerable position goaded the activity of bullies towards her way.
Mimi was picked on an awful lot when she was small, her quirk only making her out to seem odd, and her spores not helping her case all that much. She gradually became more and more withdrawn, until she was hesitant to even speak during class. Initially, her grades suffered from her hits to her mental health, the girl having a troubled school life until she finally, fully hid herself, often times never speaking during school. She was a social outcast, and her home life was no better due to accidental quirk usage. Her mother tried to get her to learn to control her quirk, but Mimi wasn't very receptive to any teachers she was given, just hiding away in the corner as to not be a bother. She was afraid of being hit again out of riled up anger, or making people cry, or disgusted with her. She just.. Wanted to vanish.
Until she was in an incident with a burning building.
A villain attack had happened during school hours, and it escalated to arson. Evacuation procedures seemed to go as normal, until her teacher realized that she wasn't with the class. She had gone to do her usual escape; hiding in the bathroom, til she heard bells go off and screaming outside. She was freaked out, looking out, just to see everything on fire. Parts of the building were caving in as some scuffle came into the hallway she looked into, being spotted by one of the heroes on duty, but wasn't able to be rescued immediately. The quiet girl looked around for a possible exit, seeing the other way hadn't yet been blocked off, but it was lit with flames. She didn't think, she just ran, and tripped...
Her first encounter with her worst weakness was realized, as she felt a searing, horrid pain from her leg. While trying to crawl out of the burning debris, she looked to her limb...
It was blackened, burning brightly, much like the debris around her. The pain and shock truly set in, Mimi screaming for help. She couldn't move from how unbearable the pain was, sobbing, curling up, thinking this was how she was going to go. Nobody cared about her, nobody would come looking for her, so why would anyone come save her...?
The fire around her became smoke after minutes of sobbing in pain, her burnt up leg promptly being put out, though such a thing was painful, as she was hurriedly picked up by someone, it was one of the heroes on duty, who kept asking her questions and telling her to stay awake. She feverishly answered as best she could, but she was in so much pain, but the despair she felt turned into joy, a joy she'd feel for the first time in her life.
After rest in the hospital, discovery of her regeneration abilities, and finally a comprehensive talk with her mother, Mimi finally smiled, and said, "Okasan, I want to be a hero."
The once shy and scared girl who didn't have any future, was inspired by the rescue to work harder, though, her behavior wasn't very indicative of her feelings. Her grades began to climb as she pulled effort into learning, however her social standing remained unfortunately the same, relatively. High grades didn't do much to improve her relations, or her ability to speak to people, but Mimi did take measures to quietly practice her quirk. In this process, she accidentally (and rather painfully) created a friend for herself; a little sentient mushroom she named Fluffy, and who has maintained right-hand shroom and computer buddy status since then.
Because she wasn't very outspoken with her nature or had any connections, she had to take the exam in order to be accepted into UA, the school she determined would be where she wanted to go, as she studied that so many great heroes were made from the formidable academy. Though she didn't expect for the exam to be a physical one rather than just a written one. It was uncharted territory for the girl, being put into a scenario of protecting a city.
But, upon seeing fellow participants freaked out by the challenge, having more lower-end quirks in terms of power, it sent Mimi into a mode she never thought she had. She called all of them towards her, asked for all of their quirks, and set a plan up in that moment. Even if the plan was confusing at first, some (frankly frustrating) elaboration made things work out in the end, but Mimi herself knew that she failed... She didn't do anything aside from help other students complete the exam by working together, and even that took a lot out of her.
But.. In the mail, she got an acceptance tape. She was shocked, shocked that she would be welcomed right in. She thought she didn't have a shot after not completing the exam's apparent conditions, but there she was, in class, with heroes-to-be mere weeks later...

THE ARMORY
Hero Suit: Her suit isn't really anything spectacular, just a skin-tight black suit that's specially made to work with her quirk (stretches with her, luminescence glows throw the suit with no hindrance, etc.), her hair is tied into a ponytail with a large bow.
Small Cooler: Mimi always has a small cooler on her person, as to store water and any sleepy Shroom Golems safely.

QUIRK & SKILLS
Mushroom
TYPE: Mutant
RANK/LEVEL: D
SUMMARY:
Mimi's quirk is Mushroom! Which basically gives her body the properties of a mushroom, and she can do things that mushrooms can do as a result!
Her hair is filled with yellow spots where spores can be sprayed from, and when inhaled, depending on the color of the spore, can rile up a specific emotion of the inhaler! Red is anger, Blue is sadness, Green is disgust, Yellow is joy, and Pink is relaxation! The effects only last for 10 minutes, time and effects cannot stack if more spores are released! (roughly 2-3 posts; If she uses them against player characters, player consent is required for the spores to influence them, otherwise, it can be assumed that they were able to resist the effects, or not breathe them in.)
She is always growing mushrooms on her head, and if certain ones are plucked off, they become sentient creatures separate from Mimi, which she affectionately refers to them as Shroom Golems! Though they are quite small, they are forever faithful to Mimi and can aid in small tasks, such as providing a light with their bioilluminescence in the dark, or carrying objects! However, they are quite fragile and can easily be killed in combat, so using these small ones as combative forces is not recommended! (Can only have 5 active golems during combat/missions. Golems are forced to fall asleep after 7 posts of their activity in any mission or combat situations and remain inactive for the remainder of the thread. If they are killed, same rule applies, that golem is considered inactive and she cannot add back to the total for the remainder of the thread.)
(Utility of the golems include:
Carrying anything under 10 lbs [if more than one can assist can carry something up to 45 lbs at maximum with all 5 active]
Providing light
Acting as extra eyes [Only Mimi can communicate with them in person]
They float, providing a view from the sky)
Mimi can make her limbs stretch farther in order to grab things, do a further away attack, or more! (Can only stretch up to 20 feet, every 5 feet her use of said limb gets weaker and more delayed by a quart [Example: Say she can hold a glass cup of water just fine, 5 feet, her handle on it gets a little shaky, but she can still hold it without spilling it. 10 feet, is where she needs to be a little more careful, as moving the wrong way too quickly will cause spillage. 15 feet, it begins to hurt to hold the cup, spillage comes much easier, and it's likely it'll fall out of her hand because of the pain. 20 feet, she can barely hold it, likely dropping it just to get that long of a stretch, and it's tears-worthy to try to hold it], and after 10 feet it's a painful strain to keep her limb stretched for too long)
Much like the complex fungus her quirk is related to, rooting is a valuable and complex asset for Mimi. By establishing roots into clean, unhindered soil, Mimi can heal damage dealt to her in combat, and more importantly, can heal others by having her roots touch their wounds. She is unable to heal any emergency injuries back to full (Example: If someone were to be cut open, the most she could do is close up the laceration to a point to prevent further blood loss but not be easily reopened, but she can't restore any internal damage fast enough. So to put it simply, her forte is minor to moderate superficial injuries. Anything beyond that she can only use her quirk to stabilize their condition for a short period as she doesn't have to ability to heal internal damage.), but she can definitely hold off or even avert someone's death if she's able to root them fast enough. However, once rooted, Mimi cannot move until she unroots herself, and in order to heal others, she MUST root herself, and said person must be close enough for her to touch their body (WITHOUT STRETCHING!) in order to establish roots on them.
(She needs 2 posts in order to initiate and complete the healing)
Mimi's quirk has self regenerative perks to it; If she were to lose an arm, waiting a week with no hard battles post limb loss will see in it's return, though her use of it would be very awkward for a while. However, if Mimi were to lose her head, it would not immediately kill her. As long as she is kept in a warm, hydrated state, after a week her head will grow back. She will have no recollection of the day her head was relieved of her shoulders, and her memory will be a bit spotty from then on (Forgetting some names, faces, events, etc.), but aside from that no major mental damage.
(If Mimi loses a limb or her head during combat, that limb is lost during the remainder of the thread. A week = 1-3 threads, unless an established timeskip occurs.)
Mimi's body has very passive effects that aren't typically combat relevant, such as poison immunity (Pretty much no natural poisons will hurt or kill her at all [could chug a bleach bottle and be mostly fine]. Poison-related quirks she only has resistance against, they wouldn't work AS WELL as they would on a typical human), being able to emit scents based off of her emotions (Does no status effects, more of a social thing), and can glow in the dark! (Making herself brighter than a dim light does require her to strain herself)
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
FIRE: Fire is a definitive, fatal weakness to Mimi. Due to her biology, she is factually far more flammable than the typical person is. She is very easy to catch aflame and no amount of healing can prevent her from burning to a crisp. Mimi doesn't get degree burns, her flesh ignites and will burn to a charcoal-ish crisp if the flame isnt stopped.
Weak Body: Mimi, factually, cannot take a hit. She is much easier to bruise than the typical person, her body more on the delicate side of the spectrum. Hand to hand is not a good spot for her in the state she's in, and getting even a small pummeling will surely put her out of commission quickly.
Poor Communicator: Even if Mimi is very smart, she can word things oddly and thus can get flawed information across to her teammates due to misunderstanding. Her communication skills aren't the best, and thus she may accidentally leave certain details out, or throw out a phrase that could be misinterpreted as meaning something else.

SUMMARY:
Though Mimi isn't the best with head-on fighting, and her quirk doesn't allow for too much range, she is amazing with gathering information. Say they were attempting to quietly invade a hideout; Mimi can make intelligent predictions and deductions based off of the information given about the suspects previously, and using things like her mushroom golems, can discreetly gather more information on things like locations of people, where things are, etc. in a quick and organized fashion.
She is able to make rough strategies on the spot with how to deal with a situation, the more info she has on everyone present and the situation in need of dealing, the easier it is for her to formulate a plan. If able to plan in advance, she certainly can provide a reasonable, but probably tricky to get strat. Even if her ability to communicate is flawed, she can prove to be an asset on a team in a tight spot.
