Elizabeth's young body is expectedly frail and thin. She wears the same plain, dirty clothes nearly everyday, to the chagrin of others. Her unkempt hair travels down to her hips, and a small messenger bag drapes across her body. Her clunky black boots often tread mud and dirt from all her romping outside. Her choker obscures the faded, red burn marks around her neck.
In the public eye, Trigger always wears a mask across the upper half of her face. Though small, she is quite agile. Her faded blue eyes take on a piercing, detached look. If not for her short stature, no one would guess that Trigger was simply a child.

PERSONALITY
LIKES ReadingDogs Family Having Fun | DISLIKES FireSadness Family Getting Hurt Being Alone |
RUMOR/SECRET: | "I heard that Trigger becomes an entire different person sometimes... Can you imagine that demon child as anything other than pure evil?" |
Elizabeth, 13 year old girl, is outgoing, fun-loving, and constantly searching for new means of entertaining herself. She likes reading especially and likes imagining herself in those make-believe worlds or getting lost in new information. Even so, she longs to be "needed" and "wanted". As such, her "family" comes first and foremost, and she hates when they're sad. Despite the label of "villains" society would place on them, Eliza sees her little family of misfits as heroes trying to do the world some good. Some would say she has some sort of unhealthy attachment or twisted mindset. She really doesn't mean anyone major bodily harm no matter how much their ideals are extreme at times, but she never remembers hurting anyone anyways. All she remembers each time is nearly breaking down into a stress-induced panic attack... before she feels her nerves suddenly fizzle and spark under her skin at the fleeting thought of her family. Then she knows no more, until she snaps out of a gaze in another place.
Enter Trigger, a vicious member of Upheaval. She is cold, unhinged, and violently loyal to her family. She will stop at no end to protect what she loves, gaining a whispered record on the streets as a ruthless and maniacal killer. She exists only for her family. Nothing else matters. She will kill, she will destroy, she will eradicate all that hurts her family.

BACKGROUND HISTORY
PLACE OF BIRTH/HOMETOWN: | Osaka, Japan |
PARENTS: | Hiyoko Tachibana (mother, deceased) William Young (father, deceased) |
SIBLINGS: | N/A |
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: | N/A |
OTHER: | Quincy (pet dog, deceased) |
Elizabeth Tachibana has jumped between homes for as long as she can remember. Her mother died from a disease when she was still a toddler, so she grew up for a short time with her father in Japan. Her father struggled to maintain a livelihood for them because of his poor Japanese and foreign status. She knew he tried his best to spend his time with her, but he more times than not would be swallowed by his work. She came to desire attention, love, anything. But it could only be so fleeting. Eventually her father left her as well, in a tragic car accident when she was 5. Once learning of the event, Elizabeth learned of the quirk that dwelled within her and the one that the doctors had said was to have supposed to come in already. She woke up a day later in a hospital, with no memory of what had transpired. After being informed of her quirk and its accompanying conditions, she was shipped off to the orphanage, where she stayed for another 6 years, constantly in and out of its doors.
Some days a sickness would spread amongst the many children, another day someone would come in to actually adopt one of them. Never her though. Not forever, anyways. If her ratty blonde hair and dulled blue eyes with their obvious foreign descent didn't dissuade them, the documents pertaining to her quirk definitely did. No one wanted a ticking time bomb. They would pick her, showering her with the attention she craved so desperately and whispering empty promises of acceptance and joy, only to leave her back at the orphanage's doors with her still bottomless want for the concept of a "happy family". Again and again, it went in a cycle. Some days, it would almost become too much for her, and she tried to look for an out. And so came about the habit that, day in, day out she would sneak out of the orphanage to clear her mind. On one of her outings, she came across a library, and it was there that a new world seemed to open up to her. Words on a page became her escape, her escape from reality.
One day at the age of 11, whilst sneaking out, Eliza's life would change drastically. For better or for worse, she would never know. It started off the same as always. She snuck out, walked around, and headed to the library like everyday. However, she would not make it back to the orphanage. Instead she would find herself being gagged and dragged into the back of a van. Her neck burned; it hurt, it hurt, it hurt so so much. She would think to herself that she truly hit the bottom of the barrel; the life she thought couldn't have gotten worse was about to. No home, no parents, no family, no happiness, and now she wouldn't even have her books or her freedom, maybe not even a voice. Flailing and clawing at her unseen captor, Eliza tried to scream out, panic slowly clouding her mind and making her mind go blank. The next thing she knew, she was standing by a dead body clutched in the hands of another man. Had time passed? She couldn't remember. She felt as if she should feel relieved, or perhaps confused, but instead she felt nothing. She gazed at the man and opened her mouth, but words failed to form. The man then addressed her. It was the beginning of what she'd come to call "her perfect family." Elizabeth Tachibana became a forgotten name to the common eye, assumed to be another runaway orphan who died in a ditch somewhere. Trigger rose on the horizon, nurtured by the ones who took her in. By the ones who didn't abandon her. By the ones she called "family."
...And nothing would tear her away from this happiness she felt with them.

THE ARMORY
Trigger Mask: A Venetian masquerade mask with splashes of dried blood and a crack heading up to the left eye. The symbol of Trigger. She wears it less often than one would think.
Handgun: Trigger's preferred weapon of use. Usually wrapped in a cloth and put in her bag. Can fire up to 3 shots before reloading which takes a full turn.
Knife: A normal kitchen knife blade. Not ideal for throwing, but Trigger's choice for close combat and especially useful when she can't reload.
Messenger Bag: Contains bandages, gauze, a sewing kit, spare bullets, her weapons, her mask; the essentials.

QUIRK & SKILLS
Mind Blank
TYPE: Emitter
RANK/LEVEL: F
SUMMARY:
Mind Blank allows the user to wipe all conscious thinking from their own and others' minds. The quirk activates while the user is under intense stress, and in addition to affecting themselves, the closest 1 person within a 10 ft. radius is affected. The quirk takes one full turn to fully take hold of a PC, and the extent is up to the player's discretion. In general, the stronger an opponent is, the less of an impact the quirk has on them. While under the influence of this quirk, one cannot formulate strategy or pre-plan as it requires conscious thinking; actions taken are based off one's instincts, reflexes, and deeply-seeded motives (i.e. kill, capture, protect, etc). Fight-or-flight instincts especially flare from this quirk's usage; if a character's first reaction is to flee, they will, likewise with the initial reaction of fight. If one moves out of the radius of the quirk user, it would feel as if they just splashed in the face with a bucket of ice cold water, as all surface thinking suddenly flows into their mind again. People are unable to consistently weave in and out of this radius for over 3 turns without generating a severe migraine unless they are conditioned for such sensations.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
Mind Blank is a double-edged sword for the user of the quirk. The user suffers a memory blank during the time period in which Mind Blank is active, and once deactivated, will briefly (3 turns) fall into a husk-like state where they cannot communicate via speech or express emotion (and thus cannot activate Mind Blank again until after said state is over). Additionally, the user themselves become very fixated on a singular goal in the duration of the quirk's use, such as a command or creed, that they will stop at nothing to fulfill... at least until Mind Blank turns off from its overuse or the user's over-exhaustion. Mind Blank is activated involuntarily under intensely stressful conditions and deactivates automatically after 3 turns if the situation has deescalated or if Trigger no longer feels the stress that triggered the quirk's activation. Trigger can only activate Mind Blank once per thread.
That is not taking into consideration the physical and mental state of the user and those affected. In the case of Trigger, the quirk can last up to 4 turns if she is especially high-strung. However, doing so would cause her to fall unconscious at the end of its duration from over-exhaustion. It might be worthy of note to know that Trigger cannot willingly turn off Mind Blank, due to the instability of her control. Mind Blank does not affect one's existing physical or mental prowess, and so, as a child Trigger would still be lacking and at a disadvantage in either category even with her quirk activated.

Gun-Handler
RANK/LEVEL: D-
SUMMARY:
Trigger, as her alias suggests, uses a gun primarily. As such, her skills in accuracy, reloading, and cleaning her handgun have improved in the time she has used it. Still, she needs much improvement before her aim becomes steadier.
Anatomy & Medicine Knowledge
RANK/LEVEL: D+
SUMMARY:
Years of living as an orphan means learning what heals what part of the body and how. The orphanage wasn't going to fix everything for everyone. Anatomical knowledge also helps Trigger to know where to inflict a dangerous blow. However, prior to joining Upheaval, she got more limited knowledge, so she isn't as well-versed as she could be.
Enhanced Reflexes
RANK/LEVEL: C+
SUMMARY:
In order to not be inhibited by her own quirk and by urging of Matsuo Yuu, Trigger trained to enhance her reaction time and speed. As such, her reflexes and dodging abilities have improved. However, she is still a mere child, and as such, she can only improve at such a rate. Her reaction speed is approximately 230ms.
