It had started innocently enough. Working full-time as a pro-hero and a teacher tended to get overwhelming, so as she often did when she was burnt out, Hiyake had found an empty bench inside of the school, put on her mask, and slumped up against the wall pretending to not sleep, an illusion that was ruined by the loud harsh snoring. Some poor well-meaning individual, maybe a teacher, or a student, or some janitor who just didn't know better, saw her sleeping, and figuring it was rather uncomfortable, had found a pillow and tossed it over. This had been a mistake.
Only ten minutes later, the entire hallway had been barricaded off by a wall of carefully stacked furniture. Thankfully, it was an offshoot hallway that was almost never used, and today was a weekend so there weren't any classes—she was an irresponsible teacher, sure, but she respected education for god's sake. Still, the hall was completely impassable. "Try and attack me on my home turf, will you now," Hiyake muttered, standing up to peer over her barricade, her arms loaded up with several pillows she had raided from the faculty room and various closets. At the sound of footsteps, she perked up. The moment someone stepped around the corner, she hurled the pillow in her hand with all her considerable strength.
(("what do you do on your weekends off?" "idk man, impromptu pillow fight? that counts as training the kids, right? im too sleep deprived for this"

The first weekend of the dvhool year. The first chance to have full reign of the school and to indulge in his instincts to fully explore the place. Okay, there was always the night time, but for once, he actually had to use those hours for sleeping. U.A. wouldn't let him slack off... at least not only a week into the new year, anyway. And if he was being completly honest, he really needed to get back into the habit of studying regularly anyway. But that was for later.
More than just getting acquainted with the scentscape of the school, was the need to figure out shortcuts for getting from place to place. U.A. was a much larger campus than he had been expecting, and any corners he could cut would be a valuable way to save time. Hence, he was poking down all of the odd, random corridors and hallways, making note of entrances, exits, and windows.
... which was how he had turned the corner to find himself face to wall with a... he squinted a little, not quite sure what he was seeing. Some kind of wall? Made of furniture? A furniturewall? Furniture barricade? Those weren't things. Like a...
Realization hit the cat and he dove back behind the corner as he finally noticed Sunspot holding an armful of pillows, and the right phrase came to mind. Pillow fort. A pillow crashed into the ground right behind him, and he yanked his tail in reflexively to keep it safe. He peered the down the hall in the other direction. Nope, nothing there. Why was there only a single pillow fort? Better question, why was there a pillow fort at all?
Isamu leaned close to the corner he waws hiding behind, trying to take a peek without getting beaned by another projectile. "Ah... Sunstorm-sensei? May I ask why you've built a pillow fort in the hallway?"

Jun was walking around as well. Best to try to find some shortcuts just so he can cut time and do some last minute homework done or get a little extra sleep in. The place was certainly much larger than he thought it would be...given at how hard it is to actually get in the school. He turned the corner to see a cat wearing clothes talking, asking one of their teachers why there was a pillow fort in the hallway. That was a good question. But...well...why not? Walking just before the opening to the hall, he also spoke his piece. "Or Sunstorm-sensei is awesome and isn't afraid to have a little fun. What do you say? Think we can take on a teacher in a pillow fight?" He gave the cat-boy a goofy grin.
He didn't go to the orientation...well, he slept through it, to be honest. So he didn't know any of his classmates, so he doubted any of them knew him as well. So, he figured he'd introduce himself. "I'm Jun Tomoshibi by the way, of Class 1-A. Nice to meet you." It was wrong to judge a book by its cover. Besides, there were a lot of uses for a cat quirk. Jun himself was only five foot five. The cat was still smaller, but compared to others, Jun was small too. Just not as much. The blond had vibrant green eyes, and wore a plain red shirt with white sleeves and jeans. This should be rather fun.

Happy Little Pill - Troye SivanDaiki tapped the song on his music app, starting the song. It was a nice day out, a bright blue sky with rolling clouds that were pleasing to the eye. It kept the smile on his face during his calm and relaxed paces down the UA hallway. It was a bit of free time he had to spend however he saw fit, and he pondered doing some training. Though training unnecessarily hard is cause for injury and overworking of the unhealthy kind. He'd been through that in Junior High, and had no need for actually getting into the deceptively unhealthy state again; even if he performed pretty well. The school is built to nurture quirks was what he thought, so following the road they laid out was what he convinced himself he would be best doing. There were a few places in the school that didn't see much foot traffic, and honestly he was in the mood to just have some peace and quiet alone. It wasn't like he was upset or anything, just space to think about the future and dreams is a nice and generally underestimated thing. Hands in his pockets, he wandered up two flights of stairs leading up a single floor. Looking left and right, he wondered which way might be best to check out first. A couple students appeared to be going about their own days, the area he was in still being somewhere that saw a lot of activity; relatively speaking. He figured he would head to the right. Contrary to his conscience, he all too regularly found his attention looking out the hallway windows and towards the sky. A starry night sky is something he could really go for right now. A night sky was one of three things that each person saw differently. It was either a dark emptiness that inspired wonder and awe, be it understandably because of the fact that outside of us there very well might be and is trillions of miles of nothing. Then there are those who believe it is akin to a sea filled with pearls. Endless opportunity, each star a jewel to only be admired in the moment. The final viewpoint is boring, the people who just don't care. That's when he snapped out of his wandering mental state. His foot had stepped on something squishy, which caused him to blink. He looked downwards and saw... A pillow? What was a pillow doing here. The three others could see Daiki just completely unaware of them being there, leaning down to pick up the fluffy thing. He then looked up and in his peripheral vision saw Isamu. He then turned towards Isamu and blinked at his positioning, though looking at him caused him to notice Jun. He blinked, before finally... He saw the thing in the hallway. Was that a teacher? He squinted, tilting his head to the side. He looked down at the pillow in his hand, and then back up towards the fort. Then to the pillow, then fort, pillow, fort. Who cares, just go! Before he fully thought it through, he raised the pillow up as a shield and started to sprint towards the fort. He was serious! Though his expression was everything but serious, a silly grin over his face. This was a hostile takeover.

"This isn't about fun!" Hiyake said, peering at the two students through the pillow wall. Well, it was sort of about fun, but saying that sounded unprofessional, right? "You never know when a villain might have infiltrated your base of operations, then BAM, unexpected fight. Also your quirk has mysteriously stopped working and you're armed with nothing but pillows." The kids would buy that, right? As Jun suggested taking her on, she opened her mouth to start trash-talking, only to notice a student—Daiki, if she was remembering correctly—sprinting at the fort with a pillow held like a shield. She chucked her nearest pillow at Isamu, standing up so quickly the unsteady fort wobbled. "Arm yourself! Enemy incoming!"
Jun had mentioned trying to take her on, so he was soundly out of the question as an ally. Isamu was still a massive unknown. Could she trust him to fight faithfully and side with her, or would he abandon truth and justice to walk the path of a pillow villain? It was a tragic day indeed when you could not count your allies in pillow warfare. She grabbed a pillow in each arm, holding them up like twin shields as she backrolled to put some distance between her and Daiki. It would probably have been just as easy to step backwards, but Hiyake did have a bit of a flare for the dramatics. She popped back to her feet then threw the two pillows at him in rapid succession, letting out an aggressive war cry. "With hell's fire, I smite thee!"
