Impressive.
Or so was Change's thought as he stood on the hanging metal walkway in the nearly empty warehouse. The entire railings lighting system had been disabled by her minions so unless the person below had really good vision or hearing, they wouldn't have been the wiser of the two dark shadows which silently lingered above them. No rather than those two who simply observed, most of the action of tonight's festivities had taken place in the only lit section of the large building.
Just minutes before the stage had been oh so neatly set too.

There had been over a dozen actors who had all been so anxious to get their hands on the person who was supposed to be the star of tonight's show. It was apparently some villain named Shadow Queen. Or something like that. Given that information about the underworld was sparse, things like the names people called themselves could change at the drop of a hat after all. But yes yes yes. The lead had been issued an offer they couldn't refuse and had thankfully decided to drop by the designated location. The person would have been lured to the center of the light before being greeted and surrounded by the twelve white faced mooks that Change had personally conjured up with their quirk. They were all the lowest ranked one's Change possessed and they were all dressed in snazzy tuxedos. Change had imagined that the twelve would put on a rather good show given their numbers and all that, but well...

...Change had been oh so wrong. Though there had been originally thirteen standing in the only lit area, now there only remained one. It was of course the villainous Shadow Queen who stood alone among the corpse-less confetti that the men had exploded into after they had been dispatched. It hadn't taken the Villain long and it hadn't seemed hard to them. Or so was Change's initial thought. Which was why he could only describe it with but a single word. Impressive. It really did fit the scene. And given that the star of tonight's show had performed so well, Change couldn't help but begin to clap for the winner of the rumble. But with that said...Change's clap was unfortunately slow, deliberate, and rather unenthusiastic. "Bravo." Change voiced before snapping his fingers which seemingly caused the light above him to flash to life.
"Bravo. That was quite the performance Miss Queen." Change began with a relaxed smile as he stopped clapping and began to dig around his pockets for something or another.
"You've proven yourself capable...and because of that...." Voiced the man as he suddenly pulled out a small sheet of loose-leaf paper from his coat pocket. "You've won the right."
"The right to...." Change began slowly as he let out a sigh and began to read from the paper in a robotic and bored voice that was a far cry from how he had just been speaking.
"...join a fantastic organization that will open doors for you that you never imagined. Now. I know what you're thinking. But Change-Sama! That's not possible. Well Buddy. It is. Because once you accept and join us. You won't believe what we can do for you. We've got an amazing opportunity for budding individuals such as yourself and only here can you blossom to your fullest. So what are you waiting for Buddy. Join. Us. Now. So? What do you say?"
....God. Why did he have to say stuff like this? Of all the spiel's that group had wanted to use, Change had absolutely no idea why they had made it sound so much like sale's pitch. They weren't selling a product after all! Change had long gotten bored of saying the same uninspired lines to random people who likely wouldn't care about random stuff that had no heart in it. And yet, Change's partners were adamant he use to lines. Which of course he did. But the tone in which he spoke them was the most plain and bored sounding one any individual could muster. But once delivered, Change's job would be done. Thank god they would be done.
