Standing at 5"6', Avery is at a relatively average height for girls her age. Her long blonde hair falls midway down her back, and her blue eyes glint with mirth and mischievousness. Her cheeks are often rosy, and she will rarely leave the house without makeup on. She usually wears particularly feminine clothing, and accessories. A typical outfit may consist of a skirt, shirt and some boots, and she loves to take any chance to dress up. Her body appears particularly thin and underdeveloped, for several reasons - her quirk, Eagle Harpy, has mutated her bones, making them hollow and light. This causes her to have a somewhat frail appearance. Her body is thin as well because she has been on puberty blockers since her early teens - thus, her body has not developed as usual.
The most prominent feature from her body are the two large wings extending from the her back, grey in color. The extend about the length of her body. Avery's personality, like all others, is a product of her life; a jumble of good times, bad times and coping mechanisms. She's quick to smile and to help others, and those around her would have trouble seeing through her typical walls that she keeps up. She's a trickster, often pulling relatively pranks on people around her, sometimes people that she shouldn't be pranking. She respects well intentioned authority, but would be the first to take to the streets against a tyrannical ruler.
Avery's primary motivation to be a hero is simple - to help others, and to build a good life for herself. To show other people like her that it is possible to survive and thrive in this world, despite an internal mental war. She's not scared to be outed as transgender, but is scared of what people would react like - she's scared of losing friends, making enemies of strangers, and all the bad things that come with that. At the same time, it is an aspect of her identity that she keeps to herself. She sees it as her business, at least while she's a relatively private citizen.
Having learnt to do so, Avery often adopts especially feminine characteristics and clothing. Her voice isn't quite the typical pitch for a woman, but it's something that she's working on. She often forgets things, and can be described ironically as flighty. She enjoys wherever she is to its fullest, especially when she gets the chance to take to the skies.
Still, internally, Avery isn't always the most healthy person - as before, she isn't afraid to talk about this, but it is still her business. The depression and anxiousness that comes to most people experiencing gender dysphoria is ever present, and something that she knows she will continue to struggle with. There are some days where that strong will isn't showing, and the urge to become better is lackluster. These difficulties ebb and flow, some days paralyzing her and making it difficult to leave the house. Still, she does all that she can to fight this and continue trying to become a true hero.
Avery's hero costume is kept light in order to not effect her flight - she wears denim shorts and a specialized crop top that leaves plenty of room for her wings, as a normal outfit would hinder them too much.

Born in Yorkshire, England, Avery began her life as a pretty normal, healthy and happy boy. As a child, she did tend to gravitate towards stereotypical girl things, but not enough to really have her parents take note. She gained her wings at an early age, a direct copy of her mother's quirk. By the age of three, her wings had almost fully grown in, and the process of learning to fly was much like the process of learning to walk, only slightly more difficult. As she learned to talk, however, Avery began to spout some things that confused her parents a lot. For the next few years, her life was a hurricane of fighting against her parents to try on female clothes, play with 'girls toys' and insisting that she was most certainly not meant to have been a boy.
Initially, this was understandably met with resistance - her parents had birthed a beautiful baby bird boy, and this was unexpected. Still, the incessant nature of it made clear that her dysphoria was not a phase, and she began to see doctors and psychologists. It was around the time that she turned nine that Avery was officially diagnosed as gender dysphoric, and she began to socially transition. As a minor, there were little chemical decisions to make - however, she was allowed to take puberty blockers as she grew to prevent her from developing secondary sex characteristics.
This wasn't the only force in Avery's childhood, although it was easily the most dominant one. She faced bullying from others at school because of her gender, something that lead to her dreams of becoming a hero. Not only to be able to help others - but also to give people like her someone to look up to. She practiced her flight skills, precision, speed, and use of her claws as often as she could, and enlisted in a karate school in her hometown to learn some hand to hand combat. She knew that the place to go to become the best hero would be U.A. - and so, at the age of 15, she flew to Japan to try out for U.A. Able to rescue some others during the entrance exams, she was allowed in, and so transferred to Japan to begin her life as a student.

She has body length grey feathered wings that extend from her back. They can be spread or folded against her back much like a birds wings. They allow her to fly for some time - given her practice with it, she can easily achieve a flight time of several hours. It's more difficult in combat, however.
Her claws on her feet are sharp, like an eagles. They're easily able to pierce normal skin, and before combat she makes sure that they are sharp. However, she is easily able to pick things up without cutting them, and using them as a weapon is usually not her first choice. Her claws can however pierce through thick furs or hides with little issue, however this is about their limit with her current strength.
Her eyes are similar to those of an eagle, and she can see something the size of a rabbit up to one and a half miles away. While this is not the same as a regular eagle, it is still better than a regular human. While looking far away however, she is not focused on what is close to her.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
While she is able to fly for a long time normally, it is much more difficult in combat. Avery has a max flight time of 10 posts per thread if she is in combat. She can carry about 10kg, but the most prominent factor of this is flight speed. If she is not at full speed, she can only lift around 7kg.
Her largest weakness is also what allows her to fly - much like a bird, Avery has hollow bones. This makes them extremely brittle and easy to break compared to the average human. She is very light and easy to throw around, and her punches and kicks don't carry a lot of weight - and carry the risk of her breaking a bone.

SUMMARY:
Avery knows that when her flight fails her in combat, she needs to stay out of harms way and fight in a way that's not going to harm her brittle bones. A punch or a kick would hurt her more than the enemy, so she needs to use her light body to her advantage.
Avery is able to tumble around better than even the average prospective hero, and can back flip, somersault, and run with relative ease. She will get puffed out eventually after being on the run for a while, though.

SUMMARY:
Avery has trained a lot to know how to use her claw weapon. In particular, she is able to hit vital points with it. This is one of her main combat abilities, as her quirk itself doesn't give her a whole lot of advantage.

SUMMARY:
Having to do her makeup and force a feminine face every day has led to Avery being pretty decent with makeup! She can do a decent job not only with regular makeup but also costume or disguise makeup. She also knows pretty decently how costuming should work to change body proportions.
