Quincy Gayle (Neo-Beast) [Student]

THE BASICS

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

There is not much noticeable about Quincy in his calmed state. No bulging muscles not too terribly thin. Simply an average fifteen year old boy. The scars on his hands are self inflicted however in relation to his quirk. He keeps a charm around  his neck in memory of his dearly loved Mother. He has bull horns that grow from his temples!

While Transformed Quincy Grows horns upon his head and his size triples, ripping off any clothes (that aren't specially made for him). His Feet become hooves and he is forced this way until he is calm. Veins can be physically seen as he grasps whatever tiny threads of sanity he has left. 

PERSONALITY

Quincy can be impulsive, sometimes acting without thinking but always keeping a cool head. However certain things (seeing his father and insults to his mother) Set him off. If he is antagonized enough it'll put him into a blind rage activating his quirk. Usually in his calmed state Quincy is a fairly average student always excited to try and help those that need it. Otherwise due to past experience Quincy tends to keep to himself. Talking only when Prompted and typically absorbed in what he's currently doing. 

Cooking helps remind him of his mother, thus he does it often. He tends to bake a lot of cakes and donuts (his mothers favorite). He blames his father however for his quirk. Resents him actually. He treats it more like a curse more than anything however to meld in better with society he would need to garner control over it which currently he had none. 

While transformed he has a short time in which he's able to grasp the situation and control himself. However he is still prone to be reckless and make large scale attacks. He will attack anything that moves in his general vicinity. Like an Ape who just found a stick.

BACKGROUND HISTORY

Quincy was born in the United States of America, in the City of New York. He was raised by his mother while his father went out into the city to work. His father was very secretive always coming and gong at weird times rarely displaying affection towards the boy. His mother pretty much raised him on her own. She would tell Quincy stories about quirks, her immigration to the USA from Russia, and other various tales from when his parents first met, and his father's specific Quirk that was passed down through hereditary means. 

He loved his mother and as he got older, he spent his favorite pastime with her cooking various meals and desserts. His mother encouraged him constantly as he began to see his father less and less. The relationship between them became strained. Quincy could barely remember what his fathers face looked like anymore and he questioned that. Did his father hate him? Did he not want him? Throughout the years his head was swarmed with these questions and his strained feelings evolved into resentment.

While going to school he was constantly bullied for being a "nerd". He didn't fight back but he bottled up his feelings. The vicious teasing became bullying which led him to being attacked after school sometimes by the other kids who's quirks activated earlier than his. He was a late bloomer. He complained to his mom who would complain to the school however they did nothing about it. His stress kept piling up until one day he was opening the door to his apartment when the school bullies approached him outside his house. They began pushing him and kicking him around using their quirks to bully him into submission however quincy had had enough. His heart pounded through his ears and his cries for help became incoherent growls. His size began to grow and his features became much more beastly, his strength quadrupled. He'd officially lost it. In a blind rage he swiftly dispatched the bullies who were now running away. Battered and bleeding. However one, the ring leader, was left behind pinned under a tree the beastly Quincy had uprooted and hit them with. Quincy's mother hearing the commotion ran outside to see her child about to finish the boy off. How did she know it was her child? Well his father had the same exact Quirk and she knew by deducing the nearby facts. The beasts features reminded her of her sons. She came between Quincy and the Bully trying to call him down however Quincy couldn't hear her. Instead he swiped her away with such force she was sent flying down the sidewalk. It didn't take long after that for the heroes to appear. They saved the bully and proceeded to pacify Quincy by Knocking him out. 

He awoke to his father above him, telling him all that transpired. His mother died trying to calm her son who was out of control. Things didn't get any better. After his examination, his father was outed to be a notorious Villain known as Diabolik. Shortly after that, people would start to avoid him. Only sharing conversation to jeer and instigate Quincy. With his Father on the run and his mother dead. Quincy decided it was time for a change and moved to japan where his Russian relatives set up a home for him to escape the drama. One day he would return to New York. Not now but one day.

THE ARMORY

Sedative: An emergency sedative to knock Quincy out just in case he loses his sense of self. He always keeps it on him as a just in case measure.


Mother's Necklace: Another fail safe he keeps with him in order for him to calm down.

The Beast Within

TYPE:  Transformation

RANK/LEVEL: D+

SUMMARY:

The Beast within is always there but is only activated it seems once Quincy is hurt or is angered. The pain aspect can be self inflicted but Quincy is pretty alright at controlling his emotions. While Active Quincy's base physical abilities are tripled and he grows 2 times in size. (Max 10 ft). Not only does he do increased damage in this state, he also takes 45% reduced damage from physical attacks. This is because his body is incredibly dense while in beast form. Bullets barely penetrate his body in this form, they simply break skin and proceed to make him angrier. For clarification smaller caliber bullets might be able to break skin, but typical assault rifle rounds and higher should be able to penetrate him no problem. His eye's would be the general weakness here. His horns arr equally as sharp and durable as a regular bulls. They can break however.

His Punches are able to dent solid steel. His new found strength gives him the ability to lift 1100 pounds.  He's able to charge forward in one direction at speeds equal to 15 mph. Sharp Turns aren't his strong suit.

Now for some Not so Special Moves!

Beast Buster: 
Quincy grabs the target and holds them upside down. He then to jump into the air and Proceeds to slam the target into the ground.

Beast-born Tremors:
Quincy in beast form slams the ground as hard as he can causing any enemies, allies, or bystanders on the ground to be knocked down and incapable of standing up for their next post. it also causes the nearby buildings to shake, and if they are in enough of a state. To collapse.  It's possible to stay standing during a tremor, but is extremely difficult. Also, if he does this in mud or sand, it isn't going to do much.

The Beast's Bravado:
Quincy in beast form charges in front of a target attack and tenses his muscles to Brave an oncoming attack. Covering any person in it's way completely.

WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:

While in this state Quincy loses his sense of being and becomes more dangerous to the places and things around him. So far he can keep himself from going berserk for a short while (2 posts). After that he won't be able to calm himself down anymore (by using the sedative). Instead he will attack everything in his immediate vicinity, and focus priority on the target he had before losing it. He may only return to normal once he's knocked out from the sedative, blood loss, or any other option that may knock him out, or kill him. (The longest this quirk last is 4 posts before he becomes exhausted). There are certain things that calm him down, such as people he cares about, if he can register a good look at them for sometime without whipping about madly. (He will listen to a person he cares about if he can get a good look at them for 1 entire post.) Regardless of whatever method  is used to stop his enraged form, it will always end with Quincy unable to transform for the rest of the thread. Expending that much energy to transform also leaves him starved! He Cannot transform while hungry!

His human body is his most vulnerable state. He's simply a regular human being. Other than his eye's Quincy's horns are on of the other most vulnerable parts about him. They are about as durable as a normal bull's in General. His horns, when broken, hurt him severely. Normal strength quirks are usually able to break these.

SUMMARY:

Quincy Learned how to do basic boxing techniques while in Japan. He can Bob, weave, and throw out heavy hitting punches!
