Sunday, 9pm XX/XX/XXXAkasu glanced at his smart phone screen, checking he was going the right way. It seemed like he was, though he was in a part of Shinjuku even he had no clue where he was anymore. He was somewhere in Kabukichou, the slightly questionable part of Shinjuku which many questioned why it still existed as Shinjuku was a special ward that had a lot of hero offices situated in it. He was only here as he wanted to go to a restaurant that he was dying to try out, just the address was very vague and the tiny side roads all meshed into one on his GPS. "Ugh..." He sighed as he tried to figure out exactly where he was. Alright, if he took a right, then left... and another right? He should be at his destination. Should being the key word here.He took the turns, finding himself in a less populated alley that looked just the same as all the others. Great.Pulling out his phone again, he walked in the general direction the compass was telling him to go. Usually he would have given up by now, as there were millions (okay, maybe not THAT many, at least thousands) of places to eat in Shinjuku alone, but he really, really wanted to try out the Iwate beef that you could only get from that shop in the whole of Tokyo! To be honest, the dedication he had for gourmet was pretty impressive or rediculous, depending which way one looked at it but he liked it say it was one of his few hobbies in life and like everything else he did, he liked to take it seriously. "It...should be around here..." He mumbled to himself as he walked.

Aku was, for all meanings of the phrase, not in a favorable situation. Injured, outnumbered, and outgunned - it was honestly one of the most thrilling experiences he'd had in a while. Granted, few bullets had been exchanged, the weapons affixed with homemade suppressors to muffle the normally deafening sound. Perhaps for the best, considering the location of the back-alley storage house deep within the city. Gunfire might cause mass panic, and his job was for the most part to prevent such situations. Unfortunately, one of said silent and few in numbers metal projectiles happened to have scored a lucky hit in his shoulder. Right between the ridge from his vest to his arms. Extraordinarily unlucky. The crooks, five in number, were now scattered across the floor. One was potentially dead, two were unconscious, and two more were still writhing in pain from the multiple bullet wounds they had. The TAC 50 may be a handgun - but skilled shooters can certainly use it to its' full potential... as the Villains before him who had been armed with SMGs had learned. Well, perhaps that, and the fact that staying in cover wasn't really a good idea when Aku could track exactly where they were given they didn't move. Straightening, the man clamped harder on the hand towel he had pressed to staunch the bleeding, muttering a bit as the pain spiked once more. It wasn't likely a deadly injury, but it could certainly put him out of commision for quite a while if he went without treatment... Having already alerted the 'normal' police, the Darkwatch officer stumbled out of his solitary hell - slamming open the alley door and taking shaky steps out unto the street. The glare of the lights faded a bit against his tactical goggles, allowing him to see a few individuals lingering about. Having decided that scaring civilians would likely not own him any points with his... superiors, Aku holstered his pistol after dropping the magazine and removed his mask, letting his sweaty face meet fresh air. Clipping the headgear to his belt, he also fished out his I.D. badge - emblazoned with an overly large P.D. symbol that was sure to catch some eyes. Precautions finished, Aku set about finding the shortest route to a hospital. | "I've had worse..." NOTES: None... for now.

Akasu was still trying to locate this damn restaurant when he heard a loud slamming sound somewhere behind him and turned round. He didn't see anyone initially apart from some pedestrians so guessed he was being overly cautious, a habit from when he was working as a pro hero when he caught sight of a dark figure in a doorway, ah so that was what had made the large slamming sound. On closer inspection, the figure was moving a little strangely... was he injured?
He probably should have gone the other way if he wanted a peaceful evening, which was something that was rather high on his agenda right now- well, it always was one of Akasu's top priorities when he wasn't at work; he was a firm believer in having a healthy work and life balance, and seeing as his work took so much out of him, he felt he should relax as much as possible and do things he enjoyed in his spare time.
However.
He couldn't just ignore someone who potentially needed help. It wasn't right. And it seemed like this just may be one of those times. Oh, and what do you know? He could now see the sign for the restaurant he was looking for at the end of the alleyway the direction he had been walking towards.
Ah...my Iwate beef...
He sighed, putting his phone away. He guessed he would have to make dinner wait a little longer. He jogged towards the figure, as he got closer he noticed... was that a gunshot wound? That in itself looked like something that spelt trouble in capital letters but he pressed on.
"Are you alright there, sir? Do you need help?"
The guy was dressed clearly unlike some random villain or hero, so he did wonder what he was doing in the middle of Kabukichou with a gunshot wound, but he also knew he had to treat the man while more help arrived.
"I'm going to call emergency services, alright? I'm a licensed field medic and support hero, can we sit down over there while I assess your injuries?"
His whole demeanor was switched on to work mode now, pulling out his license in its holder with his left hand, that displayed his hero name and reg number as he sent a request call out for an ambulance with his right.
