Her petite stature, despite being of average height for a girl her age, makes the pale-blue haired woman stand out rather easily in a crowd. To match her lower-back length, soft-colored hair she has icy blue eyes that are said to be able to freeze someone in their tracks with a single glance. Despite her chilling stare, Seraphina is usually seen with a smile or grin of sorts dancing across her rosy lips, unless it is extremely hot out in which case a scowl may make its way upon her visage. If one were to get too close to or even bump into her, they may notice that Seraphina’s body feels quite a few degrees colder than the average person’s, even in the hottest of temperatures. The blunette has a very fair and ivory skin tone, with pierced ears and a medium sized vertical scar on her abdomen.

Seraphina is one of those people that parents typically warn you about not being, the kind that think with their heart more than their head. She usually reacts without planning the best course of action first if people are in immediate danger, which usually ends up putting her in harm’s way as well, but she doesn’t care as long as she is able to help the person in need. As one may guess, the blunette is the type of person who would give you the shirt off her back and tries to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, even when they obviously don’t deserve it in the eyes of those around them, for she believes that there is good inside every single person. They just might be hiding it away deep in their heart.
She loves meeting new people and befriending them, even if they might not exactly see her as a friend just yet, and would never judge a book by its cover. She knows that not everyone grew up with the same situations or experiences as she, and that they could be jaded towards her for coming off as carefree and naively optimistic about the world around them; however, she is no stranger to the hardships of life, which allows her to have empathy for those who see the world in a darker light.
Her empathy towards people is the biggest reason as to why she wants to become a Hero; that way she can help those who are unable to help themselves. However this means that one of her biggest fears is not being able to save everyone that she encounters.

The spoiled princess, as she was called by the peerage, grew up in a traditional styled home in Kyoto, Japan with her parents and, later on, younger brother. Her mother was full English, having been born in Manchester, and her father was full Japanese, having been raised in Osaka. Due to their split heritage they decided to raise Seraphina for seven years in Japan and seven years in England, so she could experience what the culture was like in both places firsthand; however, those plans were quickly dismissed when her younger brother was born five years after she.
While she was growing up, Seraphina was showered in all the affection and attention a child could ever ask for from her two loving parents, and because of their doting habits, whatever she wanted she would always receive. When she began showing signs of having a Quirk similar to her mother’s, they were ecstatic and wanted her to practice every day in order to gain better control of it so that by the time she was old enough to start school, she would have more control over her it than the other children in her class. Her parents wanted her to be at the top and wanted to flaunt how intelligent their daughter was to all the other parents, more so wanting the fame that would come with her achievements than caring about the accolades themselves.
When her brother, Matthew, was born, their father decided it would be best if he focused all of his time and effort on training Matthew to harness his Quirk after he started showing signs of being a prodigy with the Quirk he inherited from their father. By the time she was nine and Matthew was four, their plans of leaving Kyoto to live in London were long gone, as they didn’t want to interrupt the studies of Matthew as he continued to excel with his Quirk.
Soon enough Seraphina was no longer the favorite child, being all but ignored by her parents for her younger brother. As the years went on and the gap between them grew, a part of her began to resent him for ruining her life. Seraphina always tried to deny the existence of the hatred in her heart, even if the jealousy was written in her eyes whenever they landed upon him. Instead, she tried to work on mastering her Quirk in private, hoping that if she became better than Matthew that their parents would recognize her talent once more and praise her for a job well done.
At the tender age of twelve her life came crashing to a sudden halt as she became an orphan. On a peaceful summer night she had woken up to a loud crash coming from the hallway outside her room, before the door flung open off its hinges and revealed two masked figures. One of them was able to paralyze her with their shadow Quirk before she could create anything with her ice ability, and the other intruder pulled out a dagger while walking towards her. Laughter filled the air as the intruder with the weapon, which was now covered in a red aura, went in to slash her with said knife. The blade's aura had just grazed her abdomen when a flash of white hair whirled by and knocked Seraphina backwards, away from the blade. While the two intruders were distracted with what had just happened, the first one let his guard down and gave Seraphina enough movement to create ice spikes that she willed to fly towards them. Matthew, who was the flash of white from moments prior, took this chance to grab her hand and darted out of the room with his speed Quirk.
By the time the police arrived at the scene the villains were long gone, with no trace of who they were or any way to identify them besides their Quirks, and the two children were sent to live with their mother’s sister, who treated them as if they were her own children, in Liverpool.

The rest of Seraphina’s childhood remained quiet and uneventful, although everywhere she went she kept her eyes open for people who had similar Quirk’s to the ones who killed her parents and almost killed her. Her relationship with her brother was strengthened after the incident, and she no longer had any ill feelings towards him. Instead she admired his bravery for standing up against two incredibly strong opponent’s to save someone who wished he was never born and eventually grew up into an older sister he could be proud of.
During her time with her aunt she discovered that she was able to refract light from her ice quirk, and after years of practicing with it she is able to now control light and do basic things with it.
However, due to the sudden appearance of this second ability with her Quirk, she found out from he aunt when she was fourteen that she was actually adopted, due to her parents countless attempts at having children resulting in miscarriages and ending with the decision to adopt a child from an agency.
THE ARMORY
- Hero Costume
Seraphina's Hero costume consists of a black sleeveless dress made of breathable material (known as Poly Vinyl Acetal) to keep her on the cooler side even in hotter weather, and this works due to the fact that the PVA material is made to retain water while remaining dry to provide cooling relief. The dress material is lined with a tube water system inside, with small water pouches in the section around her waist, and thi s system works in conjunction with the PVA material to keep the dress cool. Her arms and legs are covered in light plating made with anti-freeze material to keep her appendages from getting frostbite even with long-term use, so the most that happens to them is that she'll lose feeling but won't end up having to remove a limb. Due to this she can extend the amount of times she can use her quirk before being too cold or numb to move her limbs by two extra posts. The plating on her wrists are lightweight but can also prevent damage from cheap or weak blades as well as against average strengthed punches. The claws over her hands are able to deal slashing damage, although she usually prefers fighting long range rather than close combat. The shoe part of her hero outfit is made to be more suitable on ice, allowing for her to glide with ease across ice.

A normal whip that is brown in color, completely covered in small rhombs, and possesses a notably large handle, in comparison to the thin rope part. It ends in a distinctive, heart-shaped cracker.

The ability to create and manipulate ice at will, and shape it into an object(s). Hair and arms become coated in frosting while quirk is in use. She is able to make smaller ice constructs (such as icing the ground to slid on, an ice spear, or making it snow in a 4 ft diameter circle) without too much strain on her body but if she wants to make anything grandeur or in large quantities (such as multiple shards of ice, a sled, or a protective dome), it accelerates the freezing drawback of her ice to the point where if she creates too many large ice constructs she will be too cold to even move, and could even cause serious damage such as losing a limb if she doesn't keep it in check. The range for her ice manipulation is 50 feet in the direction she is looking, and a 20 foot radius if she is not looking in the direction that the ice is. If Seraphina can see the ice, she can manipulate it around her, and an example of something she is unable to do is create an arrow or spear and throw it into a forest, for the moment it leaves her eyesight, it loses its power and momentum and falls to the ground like an icicle from a house. Seraphina is also unable to control more than half her weight in ice, thus putting her ice weight capacity at 52 pounds of ice at once. Per post she is able to create up to 50 feet of ice, which in tangible shapes would be the equivalent of a 6 foot sphere (in diameter), and is able to control 52 pounds of ice within her range of motion (20 feet if she isn't looking and 50 feet if she is).
This ability is also able to manipulate light as long as there is natural solar energy to control, although at the moment she is only able to make the light particles rain down on people in yellow snow-flake like particles that can heal minor injuries (shallow cuts, scrapes, 1st degree burns; minor things like that) on whoever the particles fall on (shower of light is a circle with a diameter of 4 feet). The shower of light lasts for only one post since it shouldn't take too long for minor wounds to heal, due to the fact that the vitamin d from the solar energy helps speed up the healing process. She can only use this aspect of her Quirk twice per thread before she is unable to bend light to her will, and she is unable to use her ice half while she is using her light abilities.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
While fighting in heat wave conditions or fire in general, the ice will begin to melt (at a slower rate than normal ice, taking 2 posts for simple constructs to begin melting and 4 posts for complex constructs) and will deal less damage to the target, causing Seraphina to expend more energy to create ice constructs. If she goes beyond her limits (10 posts of simple ice constructs, 5 posts of complex ice objects; these post limits are for both creating and manipulating the ice) then she will become too cold to move for 5 posts. If her body is no longer chilled (such as if the environment is extremely hot or if someone uses a fire quirk to warm her up), then it will take her 3 posts to regain feeling in her limbs but she'll still be too cold to use her Quirk for the rest of the thread. She can also only manipulate light so long as there is solar energy around, and as such cannot use the light ability during the nighttime.

Gymnastics

SUMMARY:
One of the things her parents trained her in when she was younger that she has continued to practice in has been the art of gymnastics, which includes being very flexible and nimble. Her parents always stressed how important it was to be able to be as nimble as possible as it would aid in combat as well as allowing her to be fast on her feet during rescues. As part of her practice in gymnastics, she worked on being able to do front and back flips, cartwheels, and the splits.
Self Defense

SUMMARY:
Along with her training in gymnastics, Seraphina was also taught how to defend and protect herself in combat or out on the street. Her parents wanted her to be able to know how to throw a good punch or kick without worrying about her breaking anything from improper technique. As such she knows the basics of kickboxing, boxing, and jiu-jitsu (such as throwing someone over her shoulder), and she is able to not flinch or close her eyes when a punch is thrown her way.

SUMMARY:
Having grown up with multilingual parents, Seraphina was raised in the art of languages, having been taught both Japanese and English ever since she was a child. Having been raised by Japanese and British parents, she has learned the terminology/slang for both and can be caught saying certain words with either a slight Japanese or British accent (most commonly the words love and mate have a British accent, while the words such as sakura and cute have a Japanese accent). She also took it upon herself to learn both JSL (Japanese Sign Language) and BSL (British Sign Language), as a way to try and impress her parents- which only worked out halfway in her favor, but in the long run could end up helping her in the event that she ever needs to use them.
