Yukiko is despite her Quirk, a very feminine appearing woman. Because her Quirk causes her stature and frame to metabolize and evenly distribute the fat around her frame evenly and she has to regularly shave the hair on her body, she doesn't appear like a Polar Bear sans her fangs, claws, and huge size.
Yukiko stands at 10'6, meaning she towers over roughly everyone. She doesn't shave her head because she shaves enough of her body as it is and tends to keep it cut short to her ears or shoulders. Her hair is naturally purple and she is unsure why that is. Her eyes are a mix of a yellowish-green in their tone and color. Her skin is a dark tan due to how her skin is naturally pigmented by her Quirk. Because of her Quirk, she doesn't appear fat but actually looks like she is an extremely tall, skinny woman who is extremely toned and just has a lot of fit, tone muscle on her frame, which throws a lot of people off when they understand how much fat and muscle she really has and eats.
Yukiko prefers to dress masculine, often opting for black bow ties and white, martial arts, form fitting gi. Because white is the best color for managing keeping heat from gathering too quickly so it's less about fashion and more about not dying.
Yukiko goes most places with the minimal amount of clothing she can wear and wears light colored, breathable, porous materials to minimize overheating.

PERSONALITY
LIKES FoodFighting Puns Being Merry | DISLIKES Party PoopersJoker Killers Food going bad Fights being interrupted |
RUMOR/SECRET: | Will fight a baby if told the baby can put up a fight |
Fighting: Yukiko loves to fight. To improve her ability to fight, to watch others get stronger, and for the thrill of a good fight, a good fight, is a good fight. Not to maim or kill or to torment, but because the sport of it is so much fun, it’s the best way to show off true heroic spirit in her eyes. And others that disagree with her are complete morons. Heroic spirit is about being strong enough to save others, so why not constantly sharpen yourself and others and show that you are strong?
Mentor: Yukiko loves to show others how to do things. Yukiko isn’t really book smart. But, she has a lot of experience when it comes to dealing with things, especially life or death situations and how to go about life. She has an immense amount of combat experience that she loves to impart onto others among other things but overall, she loves to just impart what she knows.
Pun master: Yukiko loves puns. So much so, that it literally earned her the hero name “Unbearable.” A great pun is equally as wonderful as a terrible pun. They are the same. You will not convince her otherwise.
Battle-hardened: When it comes down to it, Yukiko loves to brawl. However, when the time comes when a fight does need to get serious, Yukiko is extremely experienced and ruthless at getting a task accomplished. She has no problem throwing herself directly into harm’s way in order to do this as well, knowing fully well that she can take a good amount of punishment compared to most and how to handle herself in even the most dangerous of fights.
Happy: Above all else, Yukiko loves to be merry. Yukiko enjoys great food, great company, and great times singing, making jokes, having some good spars and good times overall. Yukiko loves to create an atmosphere that is as warm as her personality and her overall body temperature and doesn’t mind making a fool out of herself to accomplish this.

Bear Bones Beginnings!
Yukiko grew up once upon a long time ago on a small fishing island just off of Osaka. It used to be its own fishing village with its own fishery that was abandoned long ago that was gifted to Yukiko’s father for her work as a Hero in the area and they figured it might be easier if they ate the fish there instead of all of it in the city. Yukiko grew up having a very simple living, sparring with her mother and father, always admiring how her mother, a small, 5’2 woman could out fight her father who was a massive Polar Bear of a man at 15ft tall and nearly 2 tons.Yukiko grew up there alongside her brother, who disliked fighting and she constantly teased him for it. She knew that she wanted to one day be strong like her parents and become a hero like them, so she constantly did what she could to be strong and wanted to be strong.
Being a Polar Opposite at UA!
Growing up fighting and training to be a hero, she was excited to learn when she got a chance to take the exam in order to be accepted into UA. She quite easily aced all of the physical exams but barely passed the final exam, being informed by her instructor the Hero Diamondcutter that
“Being strong is great, but why do you have that strength?”
It was at that moment Yukiko realized her job as a Hero was to help others and she was getting strong to save others, they went hand in hand.
Even with this, Yukiko immediately noticed among her classmates that she very clearly stood out in a few ways. Even though she was fifteen, she was already over 6ft tall and over 400lbs in this stage of her Quirk’s development of her body. Others had no problem pointing this out to her, which would cause her to get into scuffles. It wasn’t until her homeroom professor Diamondcutter pointed out to her that
“Why are you even fighting them? Most of their punches bounce off you but their words don’t? As a Hero you can’t be provoked so easily, especially one who's going to be as strong as you are.”
Yukiko realized in that moment that, strength of body meant that those that didn’t have it resorted to using cheap words and over the years, her relationship with Diamondcutter grew to be a mentor and great friend towards her, helping her understand how to be a Hero more and learn how to be better around people. He even was the first to teach her the power of puns, while he only mildly enjoyed them compared to how much Yukiko found them to be the joy of life.
She would also become her only friend at UA as many of the students thought she was weird for her obsession with being the best at fighting or found her outright intimidating. Many called her the Beast of UA.
The Rise of the Unbearable Hero!
Yukiko would go on to take her Provisional Hero License in her first year. The Exam consisted of three parts, a rescue mission vs villains, an environmental disaster scenario, and a tournament to test each’s combat abilities. While Yukiko wanted to fight the villains, she used her strong sense of smell to locate missing civilians however, her teammates from UA decided to look in other places instead making them take longer and causing Yukiko to be alone to protect two ‘survivors’ vs a testing Villain who was the hero Overpower. Instead of fighting him, Yukiko simply continued to run with the civilians in her arms while taking a pummeling on her whole body from Overpower. She managed to finally get them to the safety zone before turning to swing a large, metal door at him. However, she dropped it halfway through due to exhaustion from the damage.
In the environmental disaster scenario, Yukiko decided to just go off on her own, knowing her teammates would ignore her. That’s when she met another hero from Shiketsu High by the name of Jui Tenso with the Windy Quirk. She commented on seeing what she did on the screens and why she wasn’t with her team, Yukiko explained what happened and commented on how she hated people at UA but at least Yukiko wasn’t like them and they both decided to work together. Working together they managed to help save civilians at a fast pace, using Yukiko’s ability to locate them with her strength and Jui’s ability to precisely manipulate rubble or clear debris and paths, they made a good team.
Then the third part came and of course, they were matched first against each other.
“Well, we’re the best so of course we would Wind Up to be against each other first hahaha.”
“Yukiko, you are so unbearable.”
“THAT’S IT!”
“What?”
“MY name! FROM THIS DAY FORWARD YOU CAN ALL CALL ME UNBEARABLE!”
“My...I….If that’s the case, then: FROM THIS DAY FORWARD YOU CAN ALL CALL ME WIND UP!”
From that day forward, Yukiko made her first, true friend.
Bear Essentials for Combat!
Yukiko was looking for an internship to begin being a hero. But many of the Hero Agencies felt Yukiko was too rough around the edges or just too bulky to work with. She took it too early and needed time to learn more or was too brash, or other reason they felt needed to be pointed out more discreetly. Yukiko found it difficult to find someone to teach her, for her to learn and for her to be able to go out and be the heroine she wanted to be. And then, she heard from Diamondcutter. A friend of hers didn’t run a Hero Agency but was willing to instruct and watch over young heroes, provided they learn how to be disciplined and be instructed in martial arts. She told her that it would be very difficult training that would intentionally not rely on strength but finesse, skill, and speed. The intention of the instructors there was to teach a discipline to the Heroes that was an opposite of their Quirk so they had another tool to utilize that could complete them.
“A polar opposite?”
“Focus idiot.”
“You taught me this, at least appreciate it when I cut in with a good one.”
“I’m beginning to regret teaching you puns, it sometimes makes me-”
“Want to p-”
“Say it and I won’t introduce you.”
“Dammit, fine.”
This is one of the few instances where a pun was not uttered by the Queen of Puns and the moment in her life where many things changed. For starters, this is when she’d be introduced to the man who would teach her there is more to fighting than just being stronger than your opponent: The Hero Q-Sensei. Q-Sensei possessed the Combatant Quirk, a Quirk that made the user born innate with knowledge of all Martial Arts, as well as the ability to infuse into someone an enhanced learning and teaching ability of a single combat art of that individual’s choosing so they could mentor others or learn at an accelerated rate. This made Q-Sensei someone who was a highly gifted teacher of heroes but he only took heroes based on recommendations of past or current students. Yukiko couldn’t believe that she would be able to train with someone like this or that she never heard of him before. Q-Sensei explained the secrecy was intentional: Everyone knowing about his Quirk and training would put him and his students at risk and put a strain on his Quirk. Which made sense to Yukiko. He also explained the other reason was that Students that were recommended to him weren’t because they wanted to seek him out, but because they needed his guidance. Because they had the natural talent but were….too difficult for anyone else to hone due to their sheer ability or intimidating prowess. Upon hearing this, Yukiko spoke up.
“You probably should bring a friend of mine here then, since she kicked my ass in the finals of the Provisional License Exam. She’s kinda like me in that regard, I think it’s the first time anyone’s lifted me off my weight, much less ragdolled me.”
“Oh? What’s her name?”
“Wind Up. She goes to Shiketsu High.”
“Ah, you made a friend not from UA?”
“Yeah, Everyone at UA finds me Unbearable.”
“....You aren’t going to make those puns all the time are you?”
“Absolutely.”
“I’m going to whack you with a bamboo stick every time you do.”
“You’re going to need something harder, I’m a Polar Bear.”
“Then I will whack you with something that hurts is my point.”
“Good, I have no problem with that.”
“Me and you will get along well. Now, I’ve already prepared this for you. Drink this tea. Don’t ask what’s in it.”
That tea would be the beginning of Yukiko’s training, being infused with the Combatant Quirk of Bujinkan influence to enhance her ability to learn and teach it to others. So her training would begin and it would be grueling but she would train with others including her friend Wind Up. The students were small in number, numbering 6 in total including herself. These students were
Yukiko Mai, Unbearable
Jui Tenso, Wind Up
Henso Hanma, Solution
Baki Ketsu, Constrictor
Hiei Yuki, Fierce Metal
Sui Fen, Crowess
Each of these students was given an influence of the Combatant Quirk for teaching and learning a single Martial Art: Yukiko for Bujinkan, Jui for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Henso for Wushu, Constrictor for Capoeira, Hiei for Iai Bushido Kenjutsu, and for Sui Aikijujutsu. Each of them was given a specific art that was balancing or opposing to their own Quirk and to challenge them as they trained together. Not intentionally as well, they all came from different schools: Shiketsu, UA, Ketsubutsu, Seiai, Isamu, and Seijin. Yukiko would gain more friends and would learn many great life lessons from them and her Master and new Mentor. Her body would gain quite a few scars from being repeatedly battered with numerous objects that her Shihan would whack her with during training and for her many upon many puns.
She would learn how to, despite her size, how to move quietly and how to sneak up on people rapidly and with great stealth, strike with great skill and most importantly, learn that fighting with skill made fights more enjoyable and fighting good fights and teaching others made fighting even better. There was so much more to fighting than just fighting. The only part she disagreed with was weapons. She already came armed and didn’t feel a need to use armaments or bring them into a fight beforehand, even though she understood the logic of things like range, flying enemies and such, she liked the idea of challenging herself and simply refused to use weapons, though she was more than capable when learning them.
A Fishy Situation!
During her Third Year, Yukiko would be asked to assist Diamondcutter and Q-Sensei on a mission to liberate a large fish manufacturing plant being held by a group of thugs. According to the locals, they were raising the price of fish for ransom and if they couldn’t pay, they would take women and children as payment to work in the plant. The urgency of the matter required individuals both that could silently infiltrate as well as had close combat experience so Yukiko was asked alongside some other students of Q-Sensei. They approached and assessed the situation. The inside of the plant had both multiple thugs as well as many assailants and knew they’d not only need a distraction but likely, whomever was the diversion would be the focus of a brunt of an assault.
“I’m a big ole Polar Bear. If I just break down the door and roar, that should be enough of a diversion, right?”
“Nah, just one person even if big won’t be enough. Plus, you can’t block projectiles. I’ll join you. The others can join it, we will take the front.”
And so began the operation where Yukiko and Jui would hold off a frontal assault defense force by themselves. And so would begin one of the most notorious heroic lines in hero history as Yukiko would jump to the front of the plant, smashing two guards directly into the door to knock them unconscious and break down most of the wall while letting out a massive roar. As this happened, a massive ruckus occurred and a massive gathering of the thugs occurred at the front of the factory. As the debris occurred, they all stared for a moment before Yukiko let out a chuckle.
“Hey, I know I’m Unbearable but you don’t need to stare, let’s get started!”
In that moment, Jui would sweep up a large amount of them in a mix of debris, chunks of metal, and dust and throw them all into a clump of bent metal as they were trapped in the confusion as the diversionary onslaught would begin. After an hour, all of the hostages would finally be rescued and the plant would be cleared of all the thugs, though Yukiko would take some heavy wounds in the process. During this time, it was enough time for the press to arrive and one thing was all they could think of saying.
“It’s Unbearable!”
Yukiko tried and wanted to explain she wasn’t the real Hero here, she didn’t even rescue anyone but Diamondcutter put a hand on her shoulder and shook her head.
“You most certainly are a Hero. Plus, you always barely your Press Conferences parts of your studies, you need practice might as well start now. Don’t forget, Q-Sensei needs to remain discreet so you should be the face of this.”
The quote of all heroic lines would become slightly modified but be the modicum of Yukiko’s work as a hero for Decades to come and a sign of the public finally respecting her:
“I know I’m Unbearable but let’s get started!”
A line that the people would know meant, even if she was brash, rough around the edges and at times annoying, her heart was there for the right reasons, she was there to help and her power was the real deal. She finally was not only a Hero, but seen as a Hero.
Later on, the fish plant would be discovered to be in disarray due to the damage of the rescue and Yukiko would suggest that her family oversee repairs and operations of it, having past experience in this.
An Agency for those who are Bearly Heroes!
The year Yukiko received her National Hero License when she was 20 was both one of the best and worst years of her life. While finally becoming a professional hero, this was also the year that her long time mentor, Q-Sensei, had passed away. All his students, past and current, stood at his funeral. It was there that Yukiko made a decision and made a speech.
“Shihan Q-Sensei was someone who I grew to love and know in many ways, and also not know anything about at all. I did know one thing about him: He understood the value of passing on wisdom. I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without his wisdom, his experience, his training. He didn’t do it just for the value of it, or because his Quirk made him good at it. You could tell by the way he laughed when he did it or the stupid smile he did when you did something right, then did it slightly better the next time. He loved to impart knowledge. I think we should do the same. But, we are not Q-Sensei. We cannot just start a dojo and be masters of Martial Arts like he was. We are, however, Heroes. So I’m starting a Hero Agency. One that is meant to instruct, educate, and offer internships and wisdom to those that were, like me, looked down upon and turned down or too intimidating for other Hero Agencies. We will take in the misfits, the outcasts, the radicals, and the ones whose Quirks are so outrageous that it terrifies even the most hardened Hero. You are all invited to be my fellow peers, mentors, and Heroes in this Agency, this Family.”
Many nods, tears, and few cheers and smiles from her friends, peers, and loved ones as she made this announcement.
“I will be calling it the Bear Essentials Hero Agency.”
Everyone simultaneously groaned at her pun, before shortly bursting into laughter. Finally, Diamondcutter stood up with a glass in hand.
“A toast. To memories, to the life of our dearly departed, and to the future of Bear Essential Hero Agency.”
“To Bear Essentials Hero Agency!”
Unbearable News
Around the time Yukiko was 30, Bear Essentials was fully established and functioning as a Hero Agency, the Family Fishery was frequently supplying food to the agency food storages for feasts, and yukiko was regularly make monthly visits to the varying Hero high schools to make note of any particular students who seemed like Bear Essentials Hero Agency could be adequate mentors for upon them completing their Provisionals. It was during one of her trips to Shiketsu that suddenly, a student piped in.
“Woah, there is a huge fight going on in downtown Osaka.”
Osaka? That is where Diamondcutter and Constrictor were tracking down a bank robbery lead. Yukiko looked on the news to find live video footage of what appeared to be a combat between Constrictor, Diamondcutter, and an unknown individual.
“I have to go.”
Yukiko bolted full force but before she could, she was stopped in her tracks as she heard a scream on the TV. The force of her stop was so forceful it tore up some of the floor. The unknown assailant had fired what appeared to be some form of weapon tentacle through her chest. Yukiko’s eyes bulged and watered at the sight as Constrictor immediately bit through it and attempted to charge through it.
“Hah! I finally managed to impale her! What are you going to do? Chase me or save her?”
Sometime later, Yukiko arrived back at Bear Essentials HQ, alongside Diamondcutter and the rest of the Bear Essentials Heroes and some other medical staff.
“Why isn’t she in the hospital?!”
“Yukiko….It’s ok….I’d rather be home than a hospital if I’m…y’know?”
“It’s that bad, huh?”
Diamondcutter nodded and smiled. Yukiko then went into the fridge and pulled out some drinks.
“If you’re going to be home, we’re going to send you off smiling, laughing, singing and merry, right everyone?”
And so, they spent the next two hours, singing, drinking, and telling stories of good times until finally.
Diamondcutter had passed.
Bearly Survived
Yukiko, upon the moment Diamondcutter passed, asked only a single question.
“Baki, tell me: Do you know his name?”
“Yukiko, I’m not going to tell you his name so you can find and kill him.”
“Baki, I only need to know his name so I know what to scream when I reach him. I can smell him all OVER HER!”
It took the entire Bear Essentials HQ worth of Heroes and a few other heroes nearly thirty minutes of effort to attempt to restrain Yukiko and her rage from trying to force her way out of the HQ to hunt down her prey: The man who killed the first person who ever believed in her. There would be no person to deny her this justice, this vengeance, this retribution. And an enraged Yukiko was something they never had seen before so the full force of all of her charging force and stamina was too much even despite her overheating multiple times, she eventually exhausted them all and charged toward her targets location. He thought he could hide but his tentacles were flesh in nature: They smelled like him and were him so Yukiko knew exactly where he was hiding in an abandoned warehouse and without hesitation jumped in, through the roof and landed directly on top of him, tripping him and palm thrusting down with her full falling force, weight, and striking force all at once.
“PANDAMINATOR POLAR CRUSH!”
He managed to use his tentacles to swing and pull himself out of the path of being crushed into the ground but the residual force made him get thrown into the with a powerful thud, causing his face to bleed down the right side of his head and two of his ribs to crack as her palm crushed with such force on the ground where his head would be, it shattered the floor and went into the basement below as she fell into the basement.
“Holy hell, that was the scariest moment and the closest I’ve ever come to dying, what the hell just-”
Just then, Yukiko leapt out of the hole.
“Unbearable. I have a sinking feeling that you just tried to kill me there.”
“No.”
“Really?”
“You will beg for death when I'm done with you though.”
“That’s…...time to be serious then.”
Over the next hour, Yukiko would go to engage in the hardest fight of her life. He would be able to protrude from himself, lengthen, and regenerate any number of bladed tentacles that he would stab and slash at her with as she attacked him with her full force. Finally, both of them were spent and Yukiko knelt over him which for her stature, was still towering.
“Go on, kill me. Do it.”
“Nah.”
“What do you mean, Nah?”
“I told you I would have you beg for death and I wouldn’t kill you.”
“But that’s...that’s…”
“Unbearable?”
“......I hate you.”
Yukiko would then take, restrain and drag him over to Bear Essentials HQ as Jui would find her.
“I thought you were going to kill him?”
“I’m not that Unbearable.”
“At least you’re back and in one piece.”
“Bearly.”
“Hell Yukiko, you look like you’re about-”
At that moment, Yukiko would collapse.
The Unbearable Champion!
Around the time she was 40, a strange event would present itself. A natural inquiry of the minds would come and present various events of wit, intelligence, and banter. One of them was the “National Pun Championships.” Now, her fellow Heroes at Bear Essential had heard about it before her but tried their hardest to keep her from hearing about it. Yukiko was already the Unbearable Hero, they didn’t need her to also HAVE A TROPHY FOR IT. But naturally, this was just something that couldn’t be hidden from Yukiko for that long and she without any hesitation entered it. And to literally no-one’s surprise and everyone’s begrudgement, she won. She was even more excited to learn that it wouldn’t be the only one.
Yukiko is currently a 5 time National Pun champion.
Bearly Teaching
Yukiko has recently decided to become a professor at UA, realizing that the education has become lacking and wanting to give back more teaching to others.
Yukiko grew up once upon a long time ago on a small fishing island just off of Osaka.
THE ARMORY
N/A
QUIRK & SKILLS
POLAR BEAR
TYPE: Mutation
RANK/LEVEL: B+
SUMMARY:
The Polar Bear Quirk is as it sounds, a Quirk that gives Yukiko many defining physical characteristics of a polar bear. Yukiko’s skin is much darker by default in order to absorb sunlight and when she doesn’t shave it, is normally covered in translucent fur though she tends to keep it cut short or bald. Yukiko is also built with various physical qualities akin to the polar bear:
*Physical size: Yukiko due to her Quirk takes on the natural size parameters of a polar bear, standing at 10’6 tall and weighing 750lbs.
*Fat: In addition to being both very large and very muscular, Yukiko is also built akin to a polar bear with a solid layer of fat around her entire body.
*Extra large limbs: Yukiko’s skeletal structure, while designed to stand upright more than remain on all fours, still retains the very long limbs and ‘snowshoe’ like foot and hand qualities of a polar bear. Yukiko’s arms are 4ft in length, and her hands are 1ft in diameter. Her legs are 5’9 in length and her feet are 1’6 in diameter. Because of this, Yukiko also has abnormally long fingers and toes, each being half the length of her hand and feet.
*Enhanced sense of hearing and smell: Yukiko’s sense of hearing is slightly better than that of the average person. Her sense of smell though is extremely strong, able to identify and track a target over 20mi and she is able to sniff a target even if they are underwater or under ice within a half of a mile.
*Enhanced strength and stamina: Yukiko’s natural physical strength is terrifying. She is able to naturally lift 1 ton over her head with relative ease and has enough raw punching force to crush solid stone walls, rip steel beams, and dent steel walls. Yukiko’s maximum strength allows her to lift up to 4 tons and lift and throw 2 ton of weight. Yukiko’s natural stamina is also absurd: so long as she doesn’t overheat, she is able to continuously move. Yukiko is able to easily swim 100mi without rest and can swim up to 300mi before needing to take a breather. This distance is half for walking or running distances so long as she doesn’t overheat.
*Cold adaptations: Yukiko is naturally adapted to sub arctic temperatures. Even when she isn’t covered in fur, she is comfortable in freezing temperatures and can withstand temperatures up to -30F. When she is fully covered in fur, this extends to allow her to withstand as cold as -100F.
*Swimming adaptations: Yukiko’s hands and feet are large, wide, and webbed to allow her to continuously swim and dive in water. Yukiko can continuously maintain a swimming speed of 30mph and has a max swimming speed of 70mph.
*Claws: Yukiko’s fingers and toes have on them retractable, curved 4in claws that can be used for gripping onto things, or slashing into objects. Yukiko's claws are durable enough that they are comparable to steel in their durability. However, they are not that sharp, comparable to that of a butter knife or a dulled blade. They are also very thick, roughly comparable to a full grown adult humans fingers in thickness. They have a gripping strength comparable to Yukiko's own. It takes Yukiko approximately 1 week to grow one inch of a nail that is lost.
*Fangs: Like a polar bear, Yukiko is a full carnivore. As such, she has a head full of large, razor sharp canines. Also due to her immense bite strength, these fangs are also incredibly durable, and it takes quite a lot of force to knock out even a single tooth out of her head. Each tooth's strength and durability is strong enough to withstand and pierce through materials that are made of iron or lesser materials without breaking.
*Bite Strength: Yukiko’s skull and jaw structure retains some of the qualities of a polar bear but does not retain the elongated snout or bear skull shape. As a result, Yukiko’s bite strength Yukiko still through her Quirk and training has outrageous bite strength, able to bite with up to 1200 psi.
*Enhanced speed and jump: While she is prone to overheating if she does run or jump too much, Yukiko is able to sprint and jump with enhanced ability, able to maintain speeds of complicated movements or combat at 25mph and run at a max speed of 45mph, jump 10ft vertically in the air without a running start, and 25ft with a running start. Yukiko’s walking speed is 10mph due to her long stride, enhanced speed, and strength in her legs as well. She can maintain 15mph regularly without any risk of overheating and maintain 25mph of complicated movements or combat for 3 posts before needing rest. She can maintain her max speed for 1 post before needing rest.
*Durability: Due to both the sturdy bone and muscle structure of her body as well as the thick layer of fat around her, Yukiko maintains a degree of resistance to damage. Yukiko's body reduces the damage from attacks that are blunt force, slashing, or cold attacks by 50%. This however doesn't protect her against attacks that are of a piercing nature or fire nature.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
*Overheating: Yukiko’s body is built to keep cold out and heat in. As a result, she is prone to overheating. If Yukiko runs or climbs stairs at a brisk pace, she will have to take a break for 1 post. In combat, if Yukiko uses actions that utilize jumping, running, heavy lifting, combinations, she will have to take a break for 1 post in an Overheat State. Every 3 posts she is in combat, she has to take a break for 1 post in an Overheat State. Yukiko can choose to ignore this and take actions in overheating but doing this puts her at risk. Every post she takes is not in rest while in an Overheat Staate not only causes her to need an additional 2 more posts of rest, but it also causes internal heat stroke damage towards her, causing her physical strength to be reduced by 1/2 of it’s maximum each posts she exerts herself in Overheat State. As well, Yukiko's body can only handle overheating so many times before her Quirk puts her into a hibernation state. Because of this, if Yukiko goes into an Overheat State 3 times in in a single thread, she will lose all her physical strength, stamina, and begin to hyperventilate, being unable to use the abilities of Polar Bear for the remainder of the thread. As well, if Yukiko spends 3 posts in an Overheat State in a row not resting, she will automatically be rendered unconscious for the remainder of the thread.
*Overwhelming the Smell: Yukiko’s enhanced sense of smell is able to be overwhelmed when using powerful scent agents such as sulfur or mace. Because of this, if you engage Yukiko’s sense of smell with these in any quantity or large quantities, it will debilitate her with pain. While under the effect of these, Yukiko will be unable to smell anything else and be overwhelmed with pain for the remainder of the thread, causing her to have to take a break to deal with this pain every 2 posts.
*Overwhelming the Hearing: Yukiko's hearing is also acute to sharp increases in the volume or frequency of pitch in sounds. Using devices such as a dog whistle, or specific instruments made to create large bursts of noise such as flash bang grenades will incapacitate Yukiko due to their strong potency on her senses and temporarily disorient her due to the vertigo they cause. This will cause Yukiko to be unable to take actions while the sound is occurring and be rendered unable to make complicated movements for 1 post after the sounds have ceased.
*Fire/Heat increasing Overheat levels: Yukiko’s overheating can be accelerated by increasing the heat around her with fire or other heat sources. As a result of this, heating the area around her automatically puts her into Overheat and keeps her in Overheat so long as the area around her is heated up.
*Mobility: Yukiko is very large and if she runs, can only do so in bursts. As a result of this, Yukiko has difficulty getting to places in a swift manner or rapidly catching faster enemies if they can maintain their distance from her. because of this, Yukiko can have a hard time making sudden stops when moving at fast speeds, or while trying to make aerial maneuvers. In addition, Yukiko's size makes mobility difficult in small spaces, narrow spaces, or areas where either the ground is limited or compromised because her weight means that her own movements could fracture or destroy the area she needs to hold footing. In addition, areas that have compromised footing such as mud or marshlands prove difficult due to this as well.

Bujinkan
RANK/LEVEL: A
SUMMARY:
As a lover of combat, Yukiko sought out a way to improve her way of fighting. In doing so, she found Bujinkan, modern ninjutsu. Not believing in weapons, she didn’t focus on the forms of the practice that utilized weapons practices as much and instead, focused on the other disciplines. As a result of her training, Yukiko is highly skilled in hand to hand combat utilizing leverage, angles, momentum, positioning, rolls, joint locks, precision strikes and the advanced teachings of Bujinkan. As a Shihan of Bujinkan, she is also capable of instructing others in this martial art.
The primary hand to hand tenets of Bujinkan consist of constantly moving forward, interfering with your opponent's ability to guard and attack, always discerning and determining your next actions ahead of your target and manipulating angles and positioning against your opponent, constantly controlling your opponent's field of influence.
Because of this, Yukiko is always changing levels and angles, something that is especially noticeable for someone of her size and stature. As well she is constantly moving forward, even if it’s only slow steps and always intends to either move into an opponent's guard or just outside of their reach constantly to make it difficult to attack by constantly being so close it’s extremely difficult to react appropriately, at angles that are difficult to react to, or being just outside of the range of their attacks. By constantly moving her body and feet in a manner that forces her opponents to constantly have to change their frame of thinking and force them to be on the reactive instead of the proactive, Yukiko uses her style of combat to constantly dismantle the offense and defense of her opponents by constantly forcing them to react to her.
Applying this with strong techniques that are designed to effectively disarm and disable an opponent the moment they make a mistake, Yukiko effectively when she chooses to can end fights in relative ease by controlling the flow of combat.
Also, due to past influence by the Combatant Quirk, Yukiko is more keen at teach Bujinkan to others than the other individual.
