PERSONALITY
LIKES Having sushi and drinks with her friends and sometimes with just herself to collect her thoughts. When things are in working order; she is very keen on keeping everything proper and organized. Spending time within her garden to relax after a long and demanding day. Training in her home's dojo. Having tea and sweets. | DISLIKES She does not enjoy when her students are threatened and will do anything she can do prevent any danger. She dislikes spiders. So much so that she will stop what she is doing and freak out. She dislikes fake people; those who are not honest with themselves and others. On a personal note, she dislikes when her feelings are brought out into the open and she is feeling vulnerable. |
RUMOR/SECRET: | Rumor has it that she has a secret lover within the academy. Another rumor going around the campus is that she used to be an unruly student and caused chaos wherever she went. Her secret is that she holds back when fighting sometimes. |
Tsubame has a 'devil may care' attitude and thus tends to be on the chill side of situations. Due to her relaxed air about her, she tends to bring that sense of calmness around her wherever she goes. Tsubame keeps to herself most of the time, unless something needs her attention right away, then she jumps into action. Her motivations tend to be centered around her emotions as well as the well-being of her students and the state of the school. If the school were under attack she would not hesitate to jump into action to protect it. Food is also a really good motivation tool when you want her to do something right away and she is putting it off. Her goals have changed since she was a young hero, but more or less they are still of the same line. She wants to bring out the potential in every single student and send them on their way with the best education she can offer at the academy. She also is very protective of the school and her students, so their safety is at the forefront of her mind. Due to her overprotective nature, she tends to put her own safety on the back burner. What this means is, if there is a chance to save someone but at the same time she will take lots of damage, she will still give her all and put herself in danger.
Tsubame is a people person, as one has to be in her position, but tends to keep to herself when not doing anything that needs her immediate attention. When it comes to fears, Tsubame hides them easily, however she tends to become like an open book to those close to her when she isn't paying much attention. Her fears include spiders (and sometimes little bugs that resemble spiders), losing the one she loves (secretly, but let's be honest, it's not that secret cause they are open books, jeeze), and failing to protect those around her. She doesn't give up easily and is stubborn to the very core of her being. Some habits to be on the look out for would be her taking naps in the most weird places as well as the oddest places. Because her quirk requires a lot of energy to function daily, she tends to take naps and eat large amounts at meals. She is also a coffee fiend. The hot bliss she gains from her morning cup of coffee will keep her going for at least 2 hours before she needs another one. Needless to say, you probably will not see her without her coffee mug or cup in front of her. Tsubame is pretty open minded when it comes to just about everything, but she does get annoyed like the rest of the human population. Pet peeves of hers tend to be small things, but not illogical. She dislikes when those around her are being fake or dishonest. Since she, herself, is honest, she has a need for others to follow as she does. (though she knows that she cannot force others to always be honest). Tsubame loves cats and dogs, and has a cat herself named Kuro. They like to take naps together. Due to her life in the cities of both France and Japan, she is used to city life, though she much prefers the quiet nature of the countryside of both countries. She does not become homesick for France, but at the same time she does not entirely feel she is truly only home in Japan. She loves both countries, but feels she is in the middle of them.
In terms of her alignment, she is mainly neutral. This means that she will not do something if it doesn't exactly produce a result that she is looking for or that will benefit her needs at the time. At the same time, however, she will go out of her way to help those in need should it arise. I suppose what I am meaning is that she just goes with the flow of the situation at hand and makes decisions based on what she is given. She also is one to be fair in fights as well as arguments. This means that she is willing to hear both sides of an argument and make a decision based on the facts given to her.

[Childhood]
Tsubame was born in Marseille, France to Marinette and Takashi Takada. Due to her father's hero work, he was called to Europe to train some new recruits for U.A. and soon fell in love with a fellow hero and resident of France. After a long distance relationship and two vacations later, they decided to get married and soon after they had Tsubame. Tsubame's full name is Tsubame Marie Takada, but she mainly goes by Tsubame since she is mainly in Japan for most of her adult life. While she was born in France, her parents decided to go back to Japan to live at the family shrine the Takada family took care of. Her mother was able to resume her hero work alongside her husband, Takashi, and soon they were becoming quite a duo. Tsubame aspired to be like them and as soon as she turned 6, her quirk manifested itself and to her parents surprise, it wasn't quite like theirs in the slightest. More like a mix of the two. She had gained the hardened endurance body of her father and the athletic animal like movements from her mother. However, both were rather hard on Tsubame's body to the point where she would get sick often as a child due to the strain it put on her body. As her mother worried that the rest of their children would be burdened, Tsubame proved that with a little motivation and perseverance, she could train her body to endure the strain and learned to take care of her body as well. Her brother's manifested similar quirks, but each had a variation. Tsubame trained with her father constantly at the shrine to keep up her body strength and adjust to the quirk she was born with. Due to her energy consumption daily, Tsubame got used to eating large meals with her family as well as snacking constantly. When she went to school in her younger years, she was teased for her constant bag of snacks and moody attitude from being tired all the time. Tsubame wasn't much for letting things get to her, so in response, she just brought more and tried to share her bounty.
It wouldn't be until she came to U.A. that she would find someone who didn't mind her constant snacking. With her training at the family shrine, Tsubame was ready to go to U.A. to follow in her parents footsteps. Once her brothers were born, her mother retired and stayed home to take care of them. Because Tsubame looked up to her parents, she wanted to make them proud and so became a student at the school for heroes. At first she stayed to herself and tried not to be loud, keeping to herself as one does. As she made her way in the school with her classes, she noticed she was good at protecting others with her body and she was able to take far more damage than she knew she could before. Realizing she had more to offer as a hero in this school, she honed her body to withstand more and more. However, as she used her quirk constantly, she found that her body wasn't as strong as she thought and thus would get sick from time to time. She learned her weaknesses thoroughly, letting them be accepted as she wandered the hero's path. It was in her second year that she found someone that peaked her interest. His name was Walter Tatham, and he was from England. At first she had a hard time being around him because of his quirk, but she figured that he was having just as much annoyance with his quirk as she was with hers. It seemed from the get-go that they were made for each other. While Tsubame was the tank of the duo, Walter seemed to be the damage warrior. They worked well together in school. Their fighting style flowed seamlessly together as if they knew each other their whole life. In school she became known to be tough and playful in personality, and ruthless as a fighter and hero. She graduated a full-fledged hero and thus began to live her dream of protecting those around her.
[Hero-Life/A Moment of Clarity]
Tsubame explored her life as a hero, noticing that it was everything she thought and hoped it would be. Her partner fluctuated between a few of her old classmates, but she always went back to Walter. As the years passed since her graduation, she fought for the greater good. A few times out of the year she returned to France to visit her mother's side of the family and gain extra training while she was there. Tsubame adores the city lights of Paris, the calm and beauty of the countryside, but she always felt compelled to go back to Japan. She never felt as if she could go to either one and be simply content in her life, but she wanted more out of her life than simple contentment. The life she aspired to have was within her grasp and it made her feel so very fulfilled, but she wanted more, to help bring about something greater so that she could help those around her better. It was at this moment that she figured she needed to spend some time off the hero job and spend it thinking over what she really wanted out of life. And so, she trained and worked at her family's shrine. She cleaned and took care of the buildings. She spent this time away from close friends and only took time for herself to think. She wanted to feel fulfilled in her life, and so far she wanted something that she hadn't attained yet.
It hit her when she noticed a teacher taking her young students to the Tsubame's family shrine one day. They were on a field-trip and one of them was having trouble tying their shoes. (they were young kids) The teacher was so patient and so caring in her instruction that Tsubame had an epiphany. What if she could do that? What if she could shape the young minds of tomorrow for the sake of the future. As soon as she could that night, she went to her parents and told them her goal. They were excited to hear she finally found something she wanted to do for herself. With their blessing, she started her teacher training and attending classes to achieve her dream. Since her quirk wasn't good if overused, she figured teaching would be a good way to help others without giving up her health. In time, she became a teacher at U.A. and did what she did best. She taught hand to hand combat and combat safety as well as an exam instructor for the prospective heroes in training. She enjoyed her job and the fact that she wasn't sick as often was a plus. It made her heart bright and a sort of sparkly feeling to know that she was helping shape the minds of future heroes. This continued on for about three more years until she was offered the vice headmaster position.
[Life of a Vice Headmaster]
Due to her diligence in her teaching and how hard she trained her students, she was offered the position of vice headmaster to help the school along. At first she wasn't sure of accepting the position, but after some thought and a talk with her parents, she accepted and became the vice headmaster of U.A. She was respected among her peers for her kindhearted yet tough-love attitude towards her students. She wanted to protect the school and vowed to become a force to be reckoned with so that her students could learn in peace to become the shining pillars of the future. She has only held this position for a year and thus is still fairly new at the administration things, but she is willing to learn and grow in her position. She keeps her office open to anyone who wishes to talk or has a concern. She does wander the school grounds to keep an eye on things.

-Her cellphone
-prayer beads
-A watch
-Shurikan (12)
-Hunting Knife
-Standard Katana
-throwing needles (12)
-smoke bombs (3)
QUIRK & SKILLS
Evolution Type Zero (or simply "Type Zero")
TYPE: Transformation
RANK/LEVEL: A
SUMMARY:
Evolution Type Zero is a quirk that is a combination of her mother's quirk and her father's quirk. It affects her body when her blood starts to rush from the heat of battle. However, she is able to activate this quirk outside of battle if her emotions rise too quickly or she becomes flustered too much. To summarize, the quirk effects her bone density as well as effects her athletic ability. Her mother's quirk was a more animal driven transformation rather than her father's quirk of being able to harden his body to endure a lot of damage and keep her going for longer than is considered normal. (average length to use her quirk would be 7 posts continuous, or if sporadically, can reach 10-12 posts. however, there is a big drawback if she uses it for longer than is required.) In terms of post count, she can go about 10 posts before her quirk starts to weaken from the lack of energy. Food and water (energy drinks make her sleepy) are required after that to help get her energy back. The physical manifesting of this ability is that her bone structure becomes dense to protect against damage. The most she can take is having a car thrown at her and being able to withstand the impact. Pressure, such as deep underwater, is not as effective on her should she go down into the ocean, but she can withstand going about 1,000 feet under water without a big impact on her body. Internal damage can still be felt by her such as organ damage from pressure and The Bends. The second part of this quirk is enhanced athletic abilities. While her mother had a wide range of athleticism, much like a cat moving, Tsubame gained about half of that since she also is able to make her bones dense, making it hard to move her body as easily as her mother. However, with the added athleticism, Tsubame is able to make her way around during battle with just a little resistance from her dense bones. Her top speed is 30~ miles per hour if she just outright ran. No outright physical transformations take place, but her eyes do change to a bright purple and have slits like a cat.
Uses for this quirk have been honed over the years and often she has used her ability to give her the upper hand in sports. She trains daily and as such has learned hand-to-hand combat to better fight in battles. The dense bone structure allows her to take more damage while also giving damage at the same time. She is mostly the tank, if you want to think about MMORPG type of terminology, and as such is used to going to the hospital after particularly tough fights. The dense bones gives her a way to shield from physical (non-elemental) based attacks. What this also helps her do is deal greater damage with just her body. Literally her body is the weapon she wields. The athletics part of her quirk allows her to nimbly move about and fight. Jumping and being flexible is what gives her body it's advantage, even with dense bones. To give an example of a typical fight, she would be the one to take the damage and draw the attention of the opponent while her partner or partners offers the support and deals more damage. While her body is able to take a lot of damage, more than most people can withstand, she does have her limits.
Quirk Ability Overdrive:
[All Costs]
All Costs is a one time use skill (once per thread) that Tsubame has honed to be an all or nothing type of deal. What happens is that she uses all of her reserves of energy to give her a boost for a short period of time, around three post counts, and allows her to raise her limits for a short time. Her bones become further dense to give her better protection while at the same time she is able to move faster and nimbler than before. Her speed can reach up to 50 MPH and she can withstand a lot of damage. To put it in perspective, her damage taken can be up to three times it's normal amount. That is to say, you can throw a car at her and she will be fine, but since a car is about 2 tons of weight, she can take up to 6 tons of weight and that would be her limit. This skill is not to be used lightly and as such is only used as a last ditch effort on Tsubame's part if all else fails. However, there is a very deep downside to this skill. If used, Tsubame is drained of all energy and then put into a coma that will last for an unknown amount of time. In the past it has been a day, two days, four months; the time has been inconsistent and thus undetermined from her family or friends.
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
1) Energy- Having such a physical quirk causes a large amount of energy drain from Tsubame. Due to her having to maintain an energy level should she need to use her Quirk, she is usually seen snacking constantly or napping at odd times. Should she fight longer than 10 hours (her limit rose as she got older and trained), she will fall over from exhaustion and proceed to go into a light coma until her body is adequately rested enough to get further energy sources (IE: food, water, resting).
2) Overuse of the bone density part of her quirk can weaken her bones if she isn't careful on how often she uses it. She tries not to use her quirk unless she really has to. This is so that in battle if she overuses her quirk, she can and will pass out and/or be unable to physically fight back, thus making her weak and vulnerable. Due to the first weakness, her body is constantly under stress and overuse can and will harm her body in the long run.
-DANGERZONE! While her bone density increases in the short term, over the long term after 5 posts her body begins to run out of nutrients to support the rapid hardening and maintenance of her bones. As such, while the bones will still be durable while her quirk is active, Tsubame's body begins to eat away at itself as it tries to continue to support the upkeep of her ability. This causes Tsubame to rapidly began to lose weight after 5 posts of being active and from post 6 and onward Tsubame will lose 7 pounds / 3kg of weight.
3) Tsubame isn't protected against elemental damage. Only Physical. This means that her body will still get burned, frozen, shocked, and any other affliction given by an element.

Taijutsu
RANK/LEVEL: A
SUMMARY:
Tsubame was raised in her family shrine in Tokyo. Due to her parents having hero backgrounds, they taught their children how to fight hand to hand since their quirks tend to be on the more physical side. She was trained in basic martial arts and combative hand to hand, though with her flexibility she tends to embellish on it sometimes. She uses this skill when she fights; only when she fights, since she isn't keen on using it for personal gain. Her technique sometimes fluctuates, but it has a sort of whimsical yet powerhouse type of skill to it.
Kenjutsu
RANK/LEVEL: B+
SUMMARY:
Kenjutsu is the skill of sword fighting. Tsubame was trained to wield one with enough proficiency to help in combat against targets who might be able to be damaged against it. She has her sword, a standard katana, strapped on her hip and carries a hunting knife strapped sideways on her lower back. In battle she will use it with proficient skill. Since she was trained in the shinobi arts, this is one of the skills she was better at than most, other than Taijutsu.
Throwing Weapon Proficiency
RANK/LEVEL: B
SUMMARY:
This includes shurikan, throwing needles, and kunai. She is fairly decent at it and has yet to actually hit someone accidentally. Since she was trained in the shinobi arts, this was one of the main ones that she was proficient at. In battles she uses throwing needles, shurikan, and kunai, though she doesn't actually have a lot on her so she is very careful not to waste what she has in battle. Sometimes she uses this outside of battles like using pencils or chalk, or even whatever she has in her hands to either get the attention of someone or in an emotional outburst.
Playing Go
RANK/LEVEL: C
SUMMARY:
Tsubame is fairly good at playing Go, it's a rather useless skill but she loves playing none-the-less and tends to play with older people cause she has yet to find a kid or someone close to her age who likes the game.
